4201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: July 22, 2017, 02:51:04 AM
I think it is common instinct for people who have no choices left on how to earn money. People who have no choices left tend to grasp the first available opportunity they can get some people even accept to be underemployed just to get a job. Well in your sister's case as well as mine the opportunity to earn more money came across by discovering Bitcoin as a source of income.

BREAKING NEWS:

Kyrie Irving Requesting Trade From Cleveland Cavaliers

I verified first the story and I found it legit. To the link I provided, Im just disagree to the last part "Is this the end of LeBron James’ era?" LOL. Cavaliers with Kyrie when Lebron is not yet returning to The Land never entered the playoffs for 3 season and his first playoff experience just started when Big 3 of Cavaliers was formed.

Just amazed that even he already experienced championship, still he will give up his max contract in Cleveland worth lots of $$$$$$ in 2019.
Apparently Kyrie wants to be a star in a team in which he can't do as Lebron James currently hold that title. He demanded for a trade not to be a contender but to be a face of a franchise. He also chose 4 teams he preferred to be traded to which are the Timberwolves, Spurs, Heat, and Knicks. Now I don't know where he wants to land or what the opposing team can offer in exchange for Irving. Also From what I remembered the Jimmy Butler trade and Paul George trade didn't have much in return on their original team.
4203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 21, 2017, 08:19:12 PM
Still split on this one. Although Bitcoin's price recovered very good in the past few days, we are still not sure if it is because of Investor's confidence going up or it is a price manipulation done by big players. Maybe BIP 91 was a good thing to happen with Bitcoin as others don't want a split to happen, and the announcement of it make investors buy position again.
4204  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: July 21, 2017, 03:58:23 AM
Definitely price will be irrelevant factor that will not affect influencing business owner's to accept Bitcoin. From my perspective I see that Bitcoin until it is not stable will be accepted by a few brave businesses who attempts to take advantage of its volatility. Maybe the time when it becomes a stable currency we may see some big businesses accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment.
4205  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 19, 2017, 11:44:53 PM
Have a self-assessment first. You should be answering yourself does your Bitcoin earnings sufficient to replace your job? Is your Bitcoin earnings lesser than your job? Do I need both in order to maximize my income? You can also answer other questions that belong to those lines as well. And if you have the right answer you can decide for yourself. I would gladly give you a decision but your post seems to be lacking information about your situation.
4206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: July 18, 2017, 03:25:28 PM
Devs there is new situation with bitcoin and ethereum price dump, also most of all cryptocurrencies are dumped price. Did you expect something like that, and what is your plan in this situation? Whether something changes with reached goals?
To voice out your concern I think that DIMCOIN can be independent on that matter when it comes to prices. As if you invest in other cryptocurrency it will adjust to the current exchange rate on catering or matching the current buy price. Also when it launch it is up to the market to determine its price. The price of an Altcoin does not always depend on other big market cap cryptocurrency also DIMCOIN has the potential to have a big market cap itself.
4207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 17, 2017, 10:13:05 PM
just cutting the quote, but still with melo if he really like to win a ring he needed to adjust and let him play not a superstar but a role player
that will bring support to his new team, look with iguodala and kevin love they played as a back up support even they have a superstar
caliber individual.

Andre Igoudala and Kevin Love didn't became a main man in their respective teams (Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves). They are purely served being a supporting cast in the main lineup.

Carmelo Anthony is the lead player of the Denver Nuggets for many season and it was followed to New York Knicks that's why changing playing style will kinda be hard if he will transfer to another team with already main man on the roster.

I think you are wrong. Andre Igoudala was the main man in Philadelphia when he was there. He posted his best stats while he was with them. Iverson was already in his downturn with his career with Philadelphia that's why they got Andre to fill in the shoes. I guess too much expectations from him was a factor for his "below" performance as a Sixers main man. But now he is enjoying a great career with GSW.

LOL. Kevin Love established the longest streak for consecutive games recording double figures in points and rebounds since the ABA–NBA merger. How can you say that he is not the franchise player in Minnesota Timberwolves. If that alone doesn't proved about him as main man during his stint with the Timberwolves, then I don't know what to say.

Again most are harsh on Carmelo and his career but the guy only played in two teams that didn't make any effort to surround him with talent. He could've gone to a powerhouse but chose to stay and I can respect that. I compare him to Dirk Nowitzki in a way, Dirk is a legend and he pursued that championship for so long but he also played in a great Dallas team with Nash many years and failed. He was outstanding all season long in his championship year with a deep (but with less talent) Dallas team and finally got the title. But Carmelo who shares some similar attributes, never had the chance to have a team comparable to those Mavs, so I think people were always too quick to judge him. He's still young in a way to get a title but it will feel "weird" since he will just have to join an already established team not built around him.

The sad reality is the neither Denver or NY succeeded in building strong, contender rosters. He probably could've pushed a trade or go to a different team but I can't argue with that.

Look at Durant, I don't have respect for him for getting this title at all. He was so close with OKC, feels like cheating, no effort whatsoever just go to the team that beat you and get a ring...
Carmelo Anthony is in no way just a role player for any team especially the New York Knicks could you name any player in the Knicks that is even capable of replacing Anthony? Yes I know a lot of stars before are know playing from the bench like Andre Iguodala and Rudy Gay but this are players who accepted that they can maximize their contribution as a 6th man. Why will you make Anthony a sixth man for the Knicks in the first place?
4208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: July 17, 2017, 05:08:43 PM
Still users are still split on this. Other users are selling now others are taking the risk and buying it now until August 1. I myself have no decision yet if I will move my Bitcoin and convert it to Fiat currency or will keep it in my Bitcoin wallet. I still need to be updated on what is the latest news with regards to August 1. I just want for the best thing to happen with Bitcoin.
4209  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: July 17, 2017, 04:45:41 PM
It depends for me a good investment is defined on how much you will gain afterwards. So to keep it in short a good investment requires a good based price let say on the latest correction it should be around 1800$. The imporatance of it is significant when you look at it people who bought at 1800$ level gas a profit of 200$ by now. That is why buying it at the right time will help you maximize your profit. Also do not only focus on one investment tool as diversity is one of the best tools for you to have a successful investment portfolio.
4210  Economy / Economics / Re: Vast Majority of European Citizens Doesn’t Want Cash Transaction Limits on: July 17, 2017, 03:08:18 PM
I don't know what is the point of limiting cash transactions as it is a way to boost the economy not unless they want total control of it. Or are they doing it because they want to boost up credit transactions instead as a way to increase profits from taxes? Other than that it is really a bad move if all the participating european countries will have cash limits. Everything from overseas workers to its local citizens will be affected tremendously.
4211  Economy / Economics / Re: Why market cap is irrelevant on: July 17, 2017, 01:45:04 PM
I don't think it is totally irrelevant when it comes to trading or investing in general. The market cap is a way to determine where the market is participating more. For example Bitcoin has the largest market cap among the cryptocurrencies meaning that in terms of Volume and Price Bitcoin is the number one cryptocurrency. Being the largest market cap in cryptocurrency means that it is more volatile compared to other currencies meaning that is can be profitable for traders. Other than being the largest market cap traders also observe sudden surge in market cap which they have a chance to participate in.
4212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 17, 2017, 12:05:49 PM
It is never too late. Possibly after August 1st. The btc price will likely go back up to $ 2,500 even my prediction will be more. Now this is down because in panic sell btc. So never say too late!
I also have seen that this could be taken advantage of with the latest price correction that result Bitcoin going down to 1800$ level I think that this is the investors time to buy. And from what I see they have taken the opportunity very well as Bitcoin climb back up above the 2000$ level mark. And the next event just like what you said is the August 1 which we are still uncertain of how much will steep will Bitcoin fall.
4213  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: July 17, 2017, 03:38:16 AM
I agree that a significant rise in the price of bitcoin will make the new rich, and I hope to become a rich man in 10 years. And now I will buying bitcoin and keep for at least 10 years.
I don't think keeping Bitcoin or any Cryptocurrency in particular be a wise move to be kept for 10 years. Even if we count Bitcoin as a form of investment it is really different from real assets such as stocks and real estate. Bitcoin is a volatile currency meant to be traded but not invested. A 10 year holding period for Bitcoin will be considered risky as we don't know what future it will hold with a lot of uncertainties.
4214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: July 16, 2017, 01:46:45 PM
I have sent BTC yesterday but one day passed it is not confirmed, I have raised mining fee, this sucks.
I know whats happening in the bitcoin industry is getting really wired these ppast few days and we expect that to continue up to August 1. But I trusted bitcoin, I know that this problem will be solved after that day. Bitcoin isn't gonna die soon. They are just beginning to bloom, it will be famous in these years that goes.
I guess it is confirmed that everyone is selling their positions two weeks earlier in preparation of the August 1 effect which is still not sure what will happen. Also the problem here is internally we the Bitcoin Investors itself does not believe in the future we want Bitcoin to have resulting into a big correction. Right now 1800$ is a pretty big correction coming from a 3000$ level high.
4215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 15, 2017, 10:04:38 AM
Jamal Crawford about joining the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has mentioned that its not about winning championships anymore. In which he could have easily pick the contract agreement with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He also said that he wants to play with a team who he think he can make the best contribution anong all teams who recruited him he has chosen a team that has a chance to become winners because of him contributing.
4216  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking for ideas to invest on: July 14, 2017, 04:28:34 PM
Well for me if you want to invest in an asset that starts from nothing than IPOs (Initial Public Offerings) are the ones who may be the answer to your question. Unlike ICOs of the cryptocurrency world IPOs are like new or existing companies investing a portion of their share to be bought and sold in the trading market. This is a perfect opportunity for the company because they will ontain new capital from the share distribution they will get from the IPO. To keep you in mind some great companies can be offered in IPOs even if they are big companies long before their shares are available to the public.
4217  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: July 14, 2017, 03:12:52 PM
Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ??
It's the first question one should face while starting to deal in bitcoins and answer this will satisfies you to choose bitcoin over others. Some of the benefits that Bitcoin have over other includes :

1-Quick transactions – Bitcoin is transferred quickly over the Internet.
2-No expenses/low charges – Unlike credit cards, Bitcoin can be utilized for nothing or low costs.. This enhances revenues margins deals.
3-International installments – Bitcoin is used all over the globe; e-commerce sellers and service suppliers can easily agree to take international payments. Which uncovered new potential commercial centers for them.
4-Information is secure – As we have seen with late hacks on general retailers’ disbursement processing systems, the Internet is not generally a secure place for private information. With Bitcoin, clients don’t surrender private data.
5-Much More Easier – Bitcoin is Much more easier rather than we think.Means to say It’s Much more easier than transfering a Payment from bank account From bitcoin you can even transfer a Payment in few clicks even While listening songs.
-Hope this will help you in believing Bitcoins !
I think your question is incomplete choose Bitcoin over what? If you think that Bitcoin is better than Fiat you are generally wrong because its first hand transactions does not have and transaction fees and Fiat currency is the most liquid currency of them all in short everybody accepts it even its electronic form which is the credit card. Also for being knowledgeable I think that people who knows basic math can handle daily transactions with fiat currency unlike Bitcoin in which it involves a lot of technology in order for you to learn.
4218  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: July 13, 2017, 07:00:33 PM
I don't think so. Poverty is some kind of personal thing, people have all their lifetime in order for them to get out of the rat race. Most governments provides free education and subsidized projects, what I see is that people who really want to be rich has always the chance to be one. I am not blaming the poor but they can do something like to work hard and save their earnings. Also if they discovered Bitcoin like a year earlier they could be earning by now online, also I don't think that it is possible to aid all poor people when it comes to earning online as some of them lack the capacity to operate a computer or any gadget.
4219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: July 13, 2017, 02:56:27 PM
What I like the best is the uncertainty of bitcoin's future. Right now, we're all scared about what's going to happen on August 1 and none of us can predict it. Even in this forum, Staffs and Legendary members are discussing about this matter and they are all giving out their opinions about it. It's your choice how you're going to keep yourself safe. It's all on you to find out how to cope with whatever's the result.

Because of all these terrors, it's so thrilling to hold bitcoins. Bitcoin might go up, altcoins might go up, who knows? We can either be a bagholder of a soon-to-be-shitcoin or a bagholder of a life changing coin.
I don't think that Bitcoin's unpredictable future to be one of its best suit as a virtual currency. When you are looking at a currency the consumer wants to have a stable currency in which their buying power won't diminish all of a sudden, that is why even though Bitcoin is counted as a currency its best use is for trading in which you can take profit from it. Having an uncertain future like what you said only will raise doubts on the currency that is why it is not one of Bitcoin's strongest suits.
