4201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do any casinos offer cryptocurrency staking? on: July 19, 2020, 07:24:50 AM
I think they are taking advantage of that type of earnings, making it a source of profit just by holding the cryptocurrency. Maybe if they integrated it with the vault type of feature and offered the use or a percentage, then perhaps they could try it as well. I don’t think I have played in a casino that has this kind of feature.
4202  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn Bitcoin from this forum?? on: July 18, 2020, 02:06:31 PM
If you have taken the time to look around the forum, you would see that there are sticky topics in the beginners and help section, just like where you posted this. You wouldn’t even have to make this if you want to learn more You could have just started there and read.

Anyway, at least you are here now, and there are a lot more topics that you could check about earning bitcoin. It would take your initiative, not spoon-fed
4203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tron's Justin Sun Offers $1 Million Bounty For Twitter Hackers on: July 18, 2020, 06:44:57 AM
Something could happen within their organization if it's a group ever since this bounty has been announced. It's a large sum of money as well that could sway the opinions of different members if they have one. I hope Twitter would get this resolved ASAP and make sure that it wouldn't happen again.

4204  Other / Off-topic / Re: How the latest twitter hack might be explained by past history on: July 18, 2020, 01:56:26 AM
Because of a bug, a significant amount of money was scammed because of the verified accounts making the Tweet more legitimate. Since it's history, it should be an eye-opener for them as well, making sure that any other API, third-party access, bugs, etc. are checked and monitored.

Anyway, I saw an article that people who got scammed with that can recover their funds

4205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in a wrong way on: July 17, 2020, 05:20:55 PM
That's already a problem posed by newbies getting into crypto by a scam. Like the Ponzi Schemes that are popping up out of nowhere and entices you to invest in their so-called ”profit scheme.” They are usually covered in the ”positive” reviews and the ”profits” shown, and it's not going to be a good ending for the newbie; it's going to scar him for the scam if it pops.

The insufficient knowledge that you are talking about should be mandatory, and people should be aware of possible scam approach with that. I think this of utmost importance to preserve the name of cryptocurrencies and the capital of an investor.
4206  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [DISCUSSION] Flagging Bitcoin addresses on: July 17, 2020, 09:34:51 AM
If this happens, would it be considered as "lost bitcoins"? Since it was tagged as coming from a scam, I don't think no one wants to touch it. The problem with returning it would  be a hassle unless there is a service for that and verified wallets should be done as well. But there are a lot to consider since there are custodial wallets that cannot sign messages as well, it would be a hassle to verify. I think you could add this as a point to consider.
4207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of USDT in the Crypto Market? on: July 17, 2020, 02:03:22 AM
In a long-term perspective, there's nothing much to consider because I know it will recover even if the value of USDT due to government breakdown turns to zero, it's just time to change to another stable coin. Maybe the USDC would provide better regulations and transparency when it comes to evaluation if there are actual backed currencies in their vault.

The impact would be devastating at the start, and since almost every reliable crypto is being traded with USDT, the markets would be affected. There could be a crash and possibly recover when the time comes.
4208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OneCoin scam promoters found dead! on: July 17, 2020, 01:08:25 AM
It's not just illegal to promote scams, but you can be a target for these kinds of violent acts, just like what happened to OneCoin Promoters. I saw the amount that got scammed, and that kind of amount would make someone mad, and what's happens next? The article says it all. A lot of these types of scams are popping up continuously, and people are still getting scammed. I hope people would be financially aware of what could happen when they dwell in these types of schemes.

It's unfortunate when someone invites you and takes your money by investing and bragging more on how much money you've got from the investments down the line; it's plain stealing. It's not something to be proud of. Cashing out hard-earned money of the ones you've invited, that's a scam in their face. That's bullshit.
4209  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator on: July 16, 2020, 02:01:01 PM
I have personally tried the service ViaBTC, and it helps me get a transaction confirmed faster. It was just when I was getting familiar with transaction fees and thinking that I can save a lot more Bitcoin by lowering the costs, and it ends up as a transaction that is rarely going to be confirmed, but the service helped me. I was using Electrum, and I manually lowered it.

Newbies should be searching bitcoin transaction accelerator anytime they experience this. It’s the way I discovered it lol.
4210  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [scam] Twitter hacked and Cryptoforhealth on: July 16, 2020, 05:14:58 AM
An investigator could start in which what could've been the common things that they have? Not just the literally they have millions of followers, some have crypto-related content or anything. I thought of these things below.
  • What third-party companies/software they have been using in common
  • The API tokens of twitter have been compromised?
  • Are the timestamp on the tweets similar?

Maybe to that extent, but oh boy, it's a big tarnish towards the Twitter name.

Twitter is at fault here and should rectify for those who victimized by sending bitcoins to the scammer wallet.
They are definitely part of the reason why the scam had started in the first place. I think they need to up their game on their servers and be more secure with how accounts can get access. I think there are more reasons for how they could've accessed it.
4211  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: On going SCAM! Multiple popular crypto related twitter accounts hacked. on: July 16, 2020, 03:51:04 AM
I'm surprised that people have that extra crypto to donate to that scam attempt and have received a lot of BTC too.

Maybe people are feeling good to help as well, and it's their generosity that may be considered sending that crypto. Since the best exchanges "official twitter accounts" have tweeted that (I checked the accounts, but the tweet doesn't exist anymore), it made them feel comfortable knowing that they have so-called "partnered" with that website.

I don't know how they got access to those well-secured accounts, just like what they said they have 2FA, etc. It's still a mystery, I hope there are some updates with that and be vigilant
4212  Economy / Economics / Re: Interesting perspective of Investors on: July 16, 2020, 03:32:12 AM
It seems to me that the polled investors who have a lot of BTC have another source of income for their daily needs, and it's good for them for sure. It's an actual investment for them, and it's indicated there that it is their gold for them. It's really interesting to those so-called "Lost Bitcoin" what would happen because you will never know if there's someone that has access to them, and they are just waiting for the price to go even higher.
4213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys use to record your trades? on: July 15, 2020, 06:29:58 AM
If we don't want to spend some money to have a automated apps to record our trades then Excel is the best. It's very traditional but one of the best and it is not that complicated to use and there are no learning curves.
I think it depends on how much you earn as well when you trade. It's important when you have a big capital on the line and you are well invested with crypto trading. I feel lazy when you have to put it in manually though, it's tiring and not consistent.

As compare to any software that you are going to get, money + time to invest to learn the system. Or even a simple pen + notebook will also work here specially if you are just beginning your trading journey and wanted to record it.
Having a record would help you evaluate if you are earning or not. I think that the current PNL analysis of the exchange, i.e. Binance, they have a great PNL analysis on your monthly trading and you could see a graph of what you have gained and lost. I think somewhere related to that would be great.
4214  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and Deflation of Price and Money Supply on: July 15, 2020, 04:52:57 AM
Since there is an actual breach with what the application should do and what it should not like collecting information and other stuff, it’s one of the reasons why they should ban it not just in India but everywhere since it is scary and illegal to be spied on.

For the trading of goods, it’s ideal to know that everything comes from China nowadays since the labor costs there are cheaper and fast to manufacture. There’s going to be an impact And how China is going to respond to the banning.

If there are fixed reporting’s of how much money and goods are supplied in the current economy, I think there will be a clear picture of what would happen, but for now, it’s still unclear.
4215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys use to record your trades? on: July 15, 2020, 12:36:00 AM
I usually use Microsoft Excel to record trades and check my progress. I don’t have any features on it just basic information on what I use on my trading account. I am planning to have a service that completely catches all my trades and all the trading information with buy and sell that is important to know the profit.

It’s interesting to check the cointracking service but it’s quite expensive lol.
4216  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tell me a reason why I should use online wallet. on: July 14, 2020, 03:10:08 PM
It’s not wrong to use an online wallet just because of a possible transaction that you are going to benefit from with the ease of payments, cashback transactions, possible withdrawing of BTC to fiat, and many more. Understandably, someone could use a custodial wallet for starting to understand crypto but not to keep all your crypto there and would work as a hot wallet for fast transactions.

Most of the reasons that I could think of were posted already. I think it's not that bad to have an online wallet, though.
4217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reviews Thinking beyond Bitcoin – Our pick of 6 most promising altcoins for 2020 on: July 14, 2020, 02:24:33 PM
I think ethereum would be one of the best altcoins Just because of the token system that it has to support different tokens and m multiple Communities under it. And it is the best altcoin currently In the market basing in the rankings in coinmarketcap.

I prefer to trade ADA with its Current volatility now and probably Link as well would be nice. As long as it's tradeable with a stable coin, it's a right alt for sure.
4218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Localbitcoin Transaction Price Summary Across Major Currency on: July 14, 2020, 01:58:28 PM
Yes agree some of it is due to exchange control and government set FX rate is not really what people want to pay. ARS is definitely this case.
Well, that’s just the reality with having no control over the complete demand of the supply.

On the other hand the btc price in USA is relatively high compared to other countries. Guess this is due to more stringent AML monitoring in US. As a result people are willing to pay more to use BTC.
I think as more people go out of their way to have cryptocurrency as their asset, They want out of complete control by the banks and the government with relation to money and increasing price of bitcoin. More adoption of crypto would be best for everyone here.
4219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are Ads on Coinmarketcap Legitimate? on: July 14, 2020, 09:42:25 AM
Possible ETH bonuses with their deposit? Is it like the deposit bonuses in gambling sites? I think there's nothing wrong with that, though.

In this link, there's no indication with regards to screening or something. https://coinmarketcap.com/advertising/

I believe that in every advertisement, it's still getting analyzed first before allowing the ad on the website. In their call-to-action button, it's for "Contact Us," so you will get interviewed by customer service or someone in charge of advertisements for sure. For sure, they won't be allowing something distrustful or scam on their website, lol.
4220  Economy / Economics / Re: Maintaining safety measures after pandemic for human -economical- resources on: July 14, 2020, 07:56:57 AM
I think the best approach is to educate everyone about the possible casualties when it comes to the right protocols in place. It’s better safe than sorry.
Being prepared is good to prevent being infected with other diseases that are existing for so many years. We are focusing on this Covid-19 pandemic because of the number of people around the world who are getting infected by this. But we should also think of those diseases that can be spread from P2P transmission like chicken pox, meningitis, tuberculosis, measles, and etc. In reality, there are also infectious diseases that are spreading in some areas before this pandemic exists.
I don't see your point on your post. We all know that there are different harmful viruses and diseases that are still there. I think what we should ponder about is what is the future we need to take and what are the right measures to do amidst this situation. I hope with the current situation that we have, all those kinds of precautionary measures would help lessen those kinds of transmission of diseases as well. We could just find joy with this new normal, wherever it is.
