4221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are excited everytime we see a new coin without knowing it first on: October 10, 2019, 05:59:08 AM
new stuffs are always exciting just like when we here rumors about new phone models and other gadgets   . new crypto coins dont also differ from that but you are right that people lacks research .

they only say things like this and that but they didnt check the original link or the source of that rumors/news  . are they lazy or what  ? but sending bounty link and other referal links are a different story anymore ,  its the people resposible if they will join it or not  .
4222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unicef now accepting donations through bitcoin and ether on: October 10, 2019, 05:23:55 AM
Wow! A great news! We all know what UNICEF is
not really  . i dont know if what is unicef but if im not mistaken i think i heard that name before , a long time ago   . is this some kind of a charity or what ? but speaking of donations and charity  .  ive been using a payment app that has a service to donate to the charities , im saying that this news was not new or the first to implement this idea though this is still a verry good news because we crypto users can now make a donation in a less hassel way and more importantly in a private way  .

4223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: October 10, 2019, 03:43:38 AM
Well i think crypto is always better than fiat in terms of holding,
only if the bull run could come often but what if not ? what if dump season are the one that will come on most times ? idk if you will still say that crypto is always better   . imo fiat is better but not as always because we also get benefit sometimes from the bull market as long as we hodl a crypto

Quote
if we talk about crypto we can all see that it is now becoming more trend because of the unstable status
trending because of unstable status ? wow  . i cant imagine that  . i thought people hate being unstable but people like it if crypto will be more stabe and will only increase steadily , that would get the attention of the public which can lead for being trendy
4224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: October 09, 2019, 11:17:46 PM
I knew that was different from the monetary system that is applied now. Also, I knew that Bitcoin is an encrypted currency. After some time passed, a friend of mine started to tell about Bitcoin to me and I admired it. After that I started to be more interested in this market and Bitcoin. Smiley

i can relate on you  . back then , i already have some knowledge about btc because i heard it on the forum that i use before but that didnt get my interest as a whole  . couple of years have past until my friend told me about btc but he didnt knew that i knew btc before but after that event , it gives me a motivation to start exploring the vast world of bitcoin  .  now , i dont have any updates on my friend because my family transfer on other place  and i lost comunication to him
4225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling risk is higher when we are on Bear Market? on: October 09, 2019, 10:19:12 PM
if we are already in the bear market and the price just stays there then i dont think its risky but i actually think that its more easier for me to to transfer and spend my coin inside the gambling platform but if i were on the scenario on the topic i will understand that bitcoins are volatile so ill accept whatever price it ends after purchasing some  . if my goal is to gambling , i will still gambling   . status of the market wont stop me for my agenda  .
4226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Thing That Could Stop Bitcoin on: October 09, 2019, 09:36:56 PM
even without china bitcoin can survive.

yes it is . there are many country that legalize mining and other crypto operations  .

and infact there was that time before were china decide to hold crypto mining and other related activities to crypto though it have a huge impact on the price  but later on itll just recovered because of the continuos demand that people made  .

bitcoin cant be stop by one thing because its now big enough   .
4227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: October 09, 2019, 02:09:23 PM
I wonder how the odds will be like, cause I believe the outcome sometime with inside information can be predictable, also in military and autocratic system of government, the system is so corrupt and outcomes are enforced. Some outcomes can also be changed as a rich gambler with political influence, such will be in big tune of money to win.

nowadays politics are now getting tough because the politics are now using new technologies that can fight manipulation.  if the candicate is good , he/she have a higher chance of winning .

i have some  interest on politics and id be happy to try gambling related to it because i do also feel bored playing the usual type of gambling

any good sites you can recomend me guys ?
4228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: October 09, 2019, 12:44:45 PM
Nothing can be compared in emotions when playing in a real casino. And this opportunity should not be missed. And when this is not possible, you can play online.

what you mean when you say emotions ? you can see your opponents emotions and you can use it as an advanatage or you mean you can feel happy when you see real people and the ambiance of the place ?  both of them are present on live casinos but there are other people like me that just not confident to play outside  . my reason was because im scared because im a guy that loves to solo flight , im a paranoid and i think that someone is after me when going outside and i think they are going to steal my money
4229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Poker vs Live Casino Poker on: October 09, 2019, 11:21:42 AM
For me, i would choose gamble poker in live casino, the thing is my country banned all gambling activities. That's why i pick online poker, for now because i never feel the experience of live poker in casino.

Yes, that will be a good option for people who live in the country in which gambling is banned. They can use an internet connection to visit on the gambling site and play any gambling games. But I think they need to use VPN to cover their real IP from the ISP provider, so they don't know if we are playing gambling. But I guess the ISP will not check on their customers, and they will not say anything to them.

Online poker and live casino poker have their own fans, and they still playing gambling on their favorite casino. I prefer to playing gambling on the internet than in the live casino because here, the gambling place is in a hidden place, so it's difficult to find where the place is.
Yes that's why i only play poker at online poker on some online gambling site. The government here is only banning real life gambling activities, so there is no casino in my country. People still can gambling online here. There is one big online poker site here with more than 10k players online and i play there.

good for you guys that you still find a way to continue your hobby while other people that i know have stop permanently once the gambling on thier place have been closed  . anyway may i know what is the name of that casino  ?  10k players online ? holy cow , thats pretty huge numbers . i know alot of poker sites and most of them are kinda big but the problem is the  online players are kinda bit little, so i find hard to play on them    . still playing online is better than playing locally in my opinion
4230  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Blockchain and crypto books for crypto on: October 09, 2019, 08:02:22 AM
Of course you can write books about cryptocurrency and sell them. I see a lot of books about cryptocurrency being sold online. The thing is that you will have to be promoting the books and letting people know about them… if not it might not even sell. Another thing that is very important is the topic you're writing about. If you're like those people that just copy what is already written online then you' will probably be wasting your time and nobody is going to be buying what they can find easily online and even learn it for free. You should try to write about something that they can't find, something that is very important and you know that people will be interested in reading and knowing about it. So that's all I can say. If you check purse.io you will see some crypto related books up for sell.

Writing to earn money is not easy. Writing books to earn money is even harder. Sometimes I come across a useful book full of learning resources and then I see the top 5 books that earn authors the most money and the difference is so wide. Sometimes you have to tap into the society and their mindset to learn what they would like to read. Sometimes it does not make logical sense.

For me in crypto now, that mindset is all about making money!

writing to earn is easy but writing an article or long essay is the hard one as well as writing contents for a book  because you need to open your imagination and you cannot just read online and rewrite what you read because that so inapropriate thing to do  . you can either get caught for copyrighting or for plagiarising  . crypto and blockchain is now popular and creating a books inspired by them would be a good idea as a business because the market for it are not really that huge .
4231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin.com Launches Games Stars Leaderboard – Win BTC Every Week on: October 09, 2019, 07:09:43 AM
Aside from the game im bit surprised that they arent emphasizing BCH on here.  Grin
Maybe because deep inside he knows that his shitcoin is worthless and all crypto enthusiasts know that.
Creating a subdomain on bitcoin.com for gambling.. really!! it seems the only motive here is earning more money. My advise to all Bitcoin (the real Bitcoin) supporters is to stay away from this website.

know the what ? im a crypto ethusiast and im not biased on anything  but i confess that i use btc the most  . infact i dont ever tried to convert my funds to bch but i only recieved a little of bch before for doing micro task here on the forum but i dont know why so many people bash that coin  . the coin is one of the top coin and i dont see anything wrong with that  .  i dont also see anything wrong on this gambling site   .  the domain name is good and good thing that they accept btc . whats the problem with that  ?
4232  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: October 09, 2019, 03:15:08 AM
Maybe we are taking long before being adopted by masses by what we are having now is a complete concept on how the domination of bitcoin with cryptocurrency started and the progress and success is really undeniable.so let’s continue holding and use bitcoin as transaction payments to prove the healthiness of market

no its not just a concept but its already happening .  cryptos/bitcoin wont grow thier market cap if they arent dominating and for sure they will dominate more in the future   .  mass adoption had already started even before  .  crypto/bitcoin markets are healthy with or without using it for payment purposes but as long people buys and hodl , that is already enough   .   why bitcoin is not good as a currency ? because its only online  . that is his major disadvantage
4233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling activies correlates with Bitcoin's price? on: October 09, 2019, 02:00:38 AM

its your own topic but why your confuse ? but that should be the reason why your asking it . we gamblers have an idea with this because we are the ones that uses the gambling site but it also depend on the gambler  . some are playing at all times no matter what is the state of the market while some others including me dont gamble when the prices are pumping especially btc but i rather hodl or withdrew my btc and selll them for instant profit . site owner also know that , or we can also see that if they publicitize thier live stats  .
4234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 08, 2019, 01:21:42 PM
All things related to chants or beliefs in terms on how to increase their winning chance is totally Bullsh*t.
There's no such thing about increasing your luck or minimizing the risk as small as possible but there were people who are really fan on following these beliefs but i would say that those winnings while using them up is just pure coincidence since we know that luck can come and go away on an instant and if we do win then we do put up on our minds that those chants or vodoo things did actually work and this wont be easily removed when you already got used to it.

chants/beliefs/voodoo let say all of them are unreal but its possible to increase your luck and minimize your risk  . that can be dont when you set the settings in low risk whenever you play gambling or you can lower the number of multiplier/payout on the case of other games  . i agree, that those who believe are lucky to win while they apply these beliefs but the truth is that its only a mere co incident .  they can continue using it as long as it gives them a confidence on thier gameplay  .
4235  Economy / Economics / Re: My market vision at this time... on: October 08, 2019, 12:37:42 PM
investors are looking at more realistic and dubious new directions, we can understand that because there's always a sense of worry
it is difficult to gain full investor confidence, with that kind of thinking only a portion will develop and survive
indeed, there are many investors who are not too interested in cryptocurrency because cryptocurrency price movements may not be too good so as to make the market sluggish, hopefully with a good development can encourage investors.
But still, there are many who are holding the crypto and waiting for the improvement in the conditions. People still have faith in the market but hesitate a little to make any further new investments in the bearish market. I think such conditions would prevail till a next bull run hits the market...

but how can be the next bull run start when everyone is afraid to make a move ? you said people are waiting and hodling , the other man said that investors are not interested on cryptos anymore  .  that is what im worrying  .  maybe we need a miracle this time

but also when i realized that this event that we experience right now is not already new because infact last year was way more tragic than today but cryptos manage to make a recovery right ?  . theres always a chance
4236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: October 08, 2019, 10:18:47 AM

that is if they are short term investors , yes they will demand and complain if things are slow moving   . sometimes short term investors makes mistakes and invest on the projects that supposed to be for longer terms like for example ico's  .

these kind of investor should only invest on the real short term investments like cryptos since they dont like waiting the most  . in that way they can see instant results  .
4237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not advance as a bounty hunter? on: October 08, 2019, 08:27:23 AM
I do not require that every campaign I participate in is successful. If at least once a year it is possible to participate in a campaign with good rewards, then this year was a good one. Bad years have not yet happened to me. Smiley
There are many successful bounty in every year. But I have never been so lucky to be involved in those bounty.

you havent been involved ? only this year ? if you have joined a succesful bounty on the past then that is only an indication that the state of bonties are really degrading  . how can you say that there are so many succesful bounties every year when you yourself arent lucky enough to join one   . it only means that your lying or your im saying the truth  . for the user above , he must be lucky to join a profitable bounty and he said that he havent been failed ? wow thats impressive but idk maybe he is also lying to us since majority of the bounty hunter including the veteran ones are all suffering
4238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold? Which one you would choose to invest for long term? Why ? on: October 08, 2019, 08:00:24 AM
Personally I would choose Bitcoin, but it doesn't mean that gold is a bad idea. Both could be profitable. I need to say that cryptocurrencies are more risky and less safe than gold.

so you are still saying that bitcoin is a bad option due to its high risk but its also high reward so its still reasonable at all from the views of other investors  .

i will also choose bitcoin like you because i find it easy to get one or to get started with it but i am not experience to invest my self a gold ( gold bars ) because i feel that its not easy to find and buy one  . i find it risky also due to its physical form where you need to carry it around  .
4239  Other / Meta / Re: 3 Years Ago I Lost 5 BTCs from a Scam Sent From BitcoinTalk.org Official Email on: October 08, 2019, 07:17:10 AM
That’s is massive! I’m not sure if it was true, because my inbox was always so full, and an email that sent from official site and then later informed it was hacked, it does smell fishy here, it could sound like we trust email too much, since we receive email verification for everything personal, idk who to blame now.😅

the op said that it was true but im still skeptical about it  .  why would you trust someone that you wont know ? everything can pretend online and even before scammers are already on the loose but until now i still recieve fake emails and spam emails that obviously want to take advantage from us .  thats true that email is important because we recieve such verfication but that is if we sign up or contacted the site , if thats not the case  , say they are the first one that email you then that is already untrustable  .
4240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallets on older iphones are insecure on: October 08, 2019, 06:41:11 AM
The operating system of iphones are never open source right from day one so it might even be an inside job from the company itself, its better to switch to android phones even if its older android phones they don't have this kind of issue, if you are using iphone for your crypto wallets you should take this very seriously

you mean older android phones are secure ? i have a couple of old android but i tried to reformat them and they can be easily reformatable which means the phone can be used again by a new owner but newer android phones are not like that . newer units are always more secure  .  iphone including the older ones are more secure than android because they are not easily reformated  . the only issue of them is that they arent open source , like what you said .
