4221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you trade? on: December 12, 2020, 10:14:58 PM
I am trading based on trading volumes, like the highest, the better and it is more active market. Just think that the higher trading volume, the more money are circulating within that pairs or the more people currently trading that pair.

Example here in Binance Futures, I am sorting the list based on volume, so for me, I can select from top 1 - 10 from the sorted list based on trading volume.
4222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Blockchain Gaming items Trading Problem on: December 12, 2020, 09:57:23 PM
I think the reason why is there a fee even the item is for posting "for sale" only, even there is still no sure buyer, is because it is needed to prove in blockchain or need to record it just for proof that this item is for sale, and if your solution will offer only, for sure the data is not posted in blockchain, so there are a lot of instances it will be tampered or easily to modify/lost since for sure it will store it first in centralized database or entities.
It is like the same with some decentralized exchanges (ether delta before), if you post to open your sell position, you will pay a blockchain transaction fee for opening an order.
4223  Economy / Speculation / Re: So contrary to the Cult of Hodl, apparently at highs, people don't hold? on: December 12, 2020, 09:51:59 AM
People also did breakeven on Bitcoin, especially those people who bought at the peak on previous all-time-high last 2017- 2018. If you also zoom out the chart, we are in the double top especially on higher timeframe, so people may consider that bearish pattern which lead to these dumps few days ago.
We can't blame these people. But me, I still continue to HODL.
4224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what i can do with those tron tokens on: December 12, 2020, 09:47:44 AM
I had such coins as well. All you can do is just forget 'em and concentrate on accumulating Bitcoins.
Why Bitcoin? Buying Bitcoin these Bitcoins may good strategy for some but for some people, it is not advisable since it may too expensive. That's why there are some people who are looking forward on altcoins.
Altcoins mentioned by OP seems a shitcoins, even for me, I tried to search them. Especially it is built on Tron, which I am not a fan of Tron.
4225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Trading Journal and How to Use One on: December 12, 2020, 09:42:00 AM
I literally admire traders that using trading journal, even those manual only, just like paper and pencil or even a excel document. There are some trading journals that are automated but some of them may charge you for subscriptions, but for me using these kinds of tool for trading is really the best move.
My small tip for using trading journal is, NEVER STOP to write downs all trades, even just a small position or trades, just write it down, we should practice this.
4226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many old coins are dead and abandoned by the developer, WHY? on: December 11, 2020, 10:45:18 PM
This is one of the problems of altcoins.
Most of this projects are low market cap or even before they quite good market cap, but they are still slowly getting dead and abandoned. Some projects are also being abandoned because there are some new projects that are much better or overall got surpasses these old projects. I also don't blame old projects because they have the choice not to be outdated, there is always a room for growth and improvement.
4227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friendly reminder on: December 11, 2020, 10:27:11 PM
Honestly, no one can predict the future of Bitcoin. It is extremely difficult to know.
That's why I am carefully managing my funds, I am long term believer on Bitcoin but there are things I consider that I will not totally put all my savings or money with Bitcoin. I may dumb for what I am doing but it's my decision and I respect it.
4228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Network fee for Metamask Swap on: December 11, 2020, 06:07:10 AM
(...)
After the transaction I can’t see this high amount of fee on my balance, but if it doesn’t affect my balance then why I see these numbers?
(...)
If you already calculated the fee deducted from your account and all are correct even you connect/disconnect or re-connect your Metamask wallet, then it's good to go.
Maybe it is just some visual bug? Or something problem with the browser you are using.

How are trade alerts added? If you want to use it on your platform?
I think trade alerts are most "notifications", just like there are some notifications generated depends on how you set it, just like, send a notification if the price of x coin, reached or dropped on y price. Or maybe if your trade got liquidate.
We can also consider trade alerts as notifications, just like email notification, desktop notification, or in your mobile notification that will just pop.
4230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There any legit "android" games you play using cryptocurrency on: December 11, 2020, 05:54:25 AM
I still haven't heard such games on "android" or another mobile platform.
As far as I know, these kinds of games is still less popular since not all who owns cryptocurrency want to play such games using their cryptos.
But games that you can use cryptocurrencies are starting to spread, but the problem here is they started with browser first, or some in laptop/desktop applications which you need to download first and install.
I think one of the reasons that there are still NO or still few mobile games that use cryptocurrency is when you use the browser on your mobile, you may able to play also just like playing with your laptop or desktop computers.
4231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto-Gambling Sites are being _ about XRP EVENT tomorrow. on: December 11, 2020, 05:51:25 AM
This is difficult for such centralized exchanges or gambling sites.
There are some gambling sites that are accepting some cryptocurrencies such as XRP but after the deposit success, you need to convert it to some coin or token that is within their platform (but this is kinda less scenario), most are; if you deposit XRP, you still can use XRP to bet within gambling platform.

(.....)
My local wallet ( Coins.ph ) have announced that they will not be responsible in Flare Token distribution, so we need to withdraw from coins.ph and put it some platform that will do the opposite.
This is one of the reasons why centralized exchanges or wallets are not good, you can blame them if they don't support the distribution of airdropped token, since, in the first place, they already own your coin after you deposit on their platform, "not your keys, not your coins".
4232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero the most anonymous cryptocurrency in the world? on: December 10, 2020, 11:16:30 PM

Monero transactions are much more difficult to trace because they use ring signatures and stealth addresses. These methods help to hide the identities of the sender and the receiver. Additionally, Ring Confidential Transactions, or RingCT, helps to conceal the transaction amount, providing more privacy.
Others includes
1. Zcash.
2. Dash.
3. Verge.
4. Horizen.
If so, we can say that Monero is kinda Bitcoin, and other privacy coins can be considered an altcoin.
But if you just want to use some privacy coin without any reasons to use, or you just want to transfer funds with privacy, I think these some alternatives to privacy is good to go.
I already tried to research privacy coins before and I can admit the Monero is the best for me, there are still a lot of them.
4233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to hold BTC balance used for trading on: December 10, 2020, 11:03:00 PM
There are some traders using stable coins pairs, just like (USDT/BTC, USDC/BTC).
What they are doing (including me), if I want to avoid fluctuation of Bitcoin, especially if the money I deposited in exchange is from my bank account which is fiat, I am converting it to the exchange with USDT after the deposit transaction success.
So, even the Bitcoin will pump or dump, my funds will get no effect since it is already in USDT which is a stable coin.
Then if I am trading, my profits or losses will be pure in USDT.
4234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 best coin or token? on: December 10, 2020, 10:58:20 PM
If you want to trade to an active market, then you should go for the highest trading volume within the exchange. There are some exchanges that their trade section with different pairs that their volume are shown or you can sort with the highest volume (ascending/descending).

Another also is, trading with a high market cap may also a good choice, since, for me, ONE of the bases I am using is, high market cap = good coin, BUT be careful, there is also some IMPOSTOR on high market caps altcoins.
4235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any comment about WOZX ? on: December 10, 2020, 10:50:57 PM
Be very careful, everyone. Even how the team behind the project is famous or how powerful in a particular field, there are still a lot of possibilities that the project will be failed or be abandoned, it is already proven with previous projects. I am not a hater here, just be careful, especially these days, Bitcoin already made a new all-time-high, a lot of people are eager to get your Bitcoin.
4236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: December 10, 2020, 10:48:26 PM
I can relate to this. I already quit smoking for almost 5 months. One of the reasons is the money I am wasting if I use that money to buy Bitcoin then it's kinda worthy.
I'll share my wishlist on my quit smoking tracker app if I am able to reach a specific amount.
One of the best to do is to care about our health, so you can use our Bitcoin in the future if you are long-term hodler of Bitcoin, lol.

4237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wrote an app to compare the price evolution for crypto pairs on Binance on: December 06, 2020, 11:18:38 PM
I love it! It is really simple.
My suggestions are:
  • Add multiple fiat currencies.
  • Support share button, like you can export it as an image or copy in the clipboard the image of the chart.
  • Support web-based, this may be challenging to you since the app is made in C++, and it can only run for now on desktop. Maybe some people are afraid to download some random software on the internet because of some malware or viruses.

Overall, it's great, good job!
This can be used by traders for those comparing, even investors or long term traders, they may select the less price action coin, so they can accumulate more for the long position.
4238  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will the US ban self-hosted wallets? on: December 06, 2020, 11:11:00 PM
This is impossible to happen for me!
I agree with what other people said too, purely FUD. Self-hosted wallets are one of the best ways to become financially independent, it's one of the ways they don't own our funds, they can't control it, and they are not the ones who decide when we can use our funds, or control our funds.
If ever this will happen, I don't think people will panic, there will always a solution, for how many years since FUDs are keep coming, I hope people are already immune to these.
4239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we trust Stablecoin ? on: December 06, 2020, 03:01:35 AM
I just own stablecoin within exchanges, I am just using it in trading, I don't store it in my personal wallet since as what OP said, it's kinda centralized. There are already lot of issues regarding with stablecoin, especially before Bitfinex's USD Tether.
I am not totally against with stablecoins, what I see on stablecoins is the it is a bridge for people who want to own some cryptocurrencies, because it is pegged with other assets, it's kinda one of the reasons why the volume of crypto will become more active.
4240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Four Years of Living on Bitcoin Alone. Can You Beat That? Is that even possible? on: December 06, 2020, 02:56:23 AM
They already making a lot of money even we will not include how much they bought when Bitcoin still at cheap prices.
As far as I know, they already got some sponsors for them, I saw before Didi Taihuttu which seems he is trading and got some sponsors for his videos, doing some interviews, giving his opinion, he is also a speaker, and a video blogger too.
Overall, I am really proud of this family, I hope they will able to manage their wealth accordingly.
