You've got a point here man, fiat money might also be infected with this virus so people might minimize holding such and transactions online might surge if cure will be delayed. Almost all of the economy is affected not just Bitcoin. I think hiding from the coronavirus at home is not the best solution, as almost everyone on our planet is likely to get sick with the virus if we don't get vaccinated within two to three months, no matter what kind of protection we use. But we all just have to follow the advice of the government and doctors to give them a little more time to take action to isolate the infected people and to create and test the vaccine.
Staying at home may not be the best solution but it's one way of minimizing the spread of the virus to other people. Some countries who are too late in locking down their borders were suffering this disease now, specially in Europe. Maybe it take time but i hope they will discover a vaccine for this disease asap. |

Currently there is no new date for this fight and recently no one should be interested in any sports or game. Big or small donation it really matters, we are not a rich country, we need the support of the people who are earning well and PBA stars,we know they are making big money being an athlete, we can appreciate what Romeo did, he is not humble in the court but outside, he has an amazing personality.
Agree, all help is really needed during this trying times and i'm suddenly a Terrence Romeo fan lol. Donating his salary of more than 200k pesos is no joke. As per the article, also big thanks to Alaska coach Jeffrey Cariaso to raise two months' worth of wages for PBA game-day staff who have been hit hard by the suspension of games. They raised an initial P100,000 for the fund drive, which has since gained support from players CJ Perez (25,000), Chris Ross (P20,000) and Cliff Hodge (P20,000).
Other players are also reportedly doing their own way to help. They just want to keep it silent in the news as much as possible. Kudos to all!
If you think of it, that amount of money that they have donated is just penny for them as they earned millios of pesos but still it is a class act for them. I hope many will follow their acts as many people are in dire need of help from everybody. Have not heard of the PBA donating something to a certain foundation or just no media coverage? |

I used to gamble a decent amount in sports betting but since my favorite sport is suspended, I don't anymore risk big money in betting.

There is no other good match for Canelo for now in the Middleweight division other than a fight with GGG, there is no more weak Light Heavyweight champs so he must go down  . I am hoping that Golovkin will succeed on his third attempt to defeat Canelo which is favored on their last two meetings via controversial decisions. Also hoping that they can finalize the date of this fight and release the line odds of course. |

You can blame them partly but considering that we are in a lockdown dapat ang gobyerno ang nag pro-provide sa ating basice necessities lalong lalo na, na hindi dapat tayo lumabas ng ating bahay. Ito lang ay isa sa mga tanging paraan para makasigurado na hindi tayo aalis ng ating bahay. Countries like Italy and South Korea where they implemented the lockdown makikita mo na sila ang nag-proprovide ng basic necessities and goods para lang di sila lumabas ng bahay.

Sa atin naman, klaro yong directive ni PRRD na dapat magtrabaho yong mga "Barangay Captain" kasi sila yong mas nakakilala ng kanilang mga constituents. Tinggan nila yong mga tao nila na wala ng makain o paano ba kumuha dahil tutulongan naman sila ng National government. Para sa akin, walang magugutom kung magtatrabaho lang yong mga kapitan natin. |

I read somewhere that PBA teams also canceled their usual practice, bonding, and friendly meetings. Team owners want their players to stay at home and follow the proper healthy guidelines which are currently the best thing to do.
This would be the best thing for them to do now, avoid gathering and make sure that you are a meter apart from someone. This is only temporary and if we based our forecast on China, we can contain this virus in 2 months and everything will be back to normal and we could see our PBA players playing again. |

I dont believe that the vaccine would be available soon or in 1 month time.So high chances that these events would be delayed or cancelled soon as long theres
crowd involved then it would count.Lots of events being affected by this pandemic which should really be resolved soon or else we would see
similar scenarios or getting worst.
With so many events cancelled and suspended like the NBA, PBA in the Philippines, i think this fight might be move to a later date if ever there is no success in combating this COVID-19. |
