4222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Barclays Account Under Review on: March 26, 2014, 06:00:20 PM
They block your account ? Well just move to different much better banks there are out there. Banks already have too much power over it but this one is too much.

While it is for sure possible to open another account with a better bank, it sickens me, that banks can dictate us what to do. That is wrong on so many levels..
4223  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Neteller - usable for BTC trading? on: March 26, 2014, 05:57:32 PM
Hi,

what with all the delays in mtgox SEPA things - can anyone recommend or argue against using neteller to buy and sell BTC?

chargebacks?
account locks when someone leaks you're dealing BTC?
loss of money?
prepaid cc (€-denominated) experiences?

thanks for your answers in advance.

Neteller hates bitcoin.

They allow chargebacks, if the other account was funded by stolen credit cards. Pretty much if you allow net transfers from newbs, you will be getting scammed 90% of the time.

(I have had many chargebacks Sad )

Contrary to popular belief, trading binary options is similar to almost all other trading. The main difference is the time factor with some of the options provided. Most people look at the 60 second options and assume that trading binary options is like flipping a coin which is totally untrue. Binary options trading like all other trading is complex and based on logic, science and experience.  I myself usually purchase options based on reverse trends and apply the martingale principle in order to ensure that I do not loose a size-able amount of funds. There are numerous different types of trading strategies out there, and people usually choose which ever ones work best of them.

Trading binary options with a payout ratio of  -100%/+60% or the like is by definition no trading , but gambing with extremely bad odds...

I am not saying that some guys are not extremely talented traders, but most of these services are flatout scams...Buyers beware!
4231  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I made a website that has various multi-chart layouts! on: March 26, 2014, 05:42:41 PM
Hello traders! You might have seen this website before. If not, check it out!

I made it a couple months ago (Dec 2013), and I decided to buy a domain and host it because I liked using it and figured the community would too. I had never made a website before, so please don't judge my code too harshly (it has been updated since then). Smiley It never occurred to me to post it on here until somebody mentioned I should in #bitcointraders.

Some topics I'll address now before they get mentioned (like they always do):

1. No, I'm not blocking the bitcoinwisdom ads. I use iframe %s to move them over, which, on some resolutions, means they are behind the other iframes. For every hit on my page, bitcoinwisdom gets 4 on his.  I do not have any of my own ads on the site (nor will I ever), because I didn't make the charts themselves, just the layout. I even have adblock turned off on my browser for my domain so that he gets views.

2. Yes, I am aware that there are now other sites that do this "better". When I first made this site, there weren't any other sites. My goal has always been to have a fast, elegant layout.

All that being said, check out my list of layouts at http://hypron.net! If you have a layout/code suggestion, please let me know and I will do my best to add it!

Wow this site is great. This saves my browser from having open 4 tabs all the time Cheesy
4232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mt Gox finds 200,000 missing bitcoins... on: March 26, 2014, 05:41:53 PM
mtgox has hurt bitcoin so much but in reality it should show people how strong bitcoin is and how it will hold its value. mtgox situation should be in the past very soon and bitcoin will go back to normal and new events will come to push price up or down and so forth.

This is very true. The debacle around MT.gox was said by many to destroy the trust in bitcoin completely, but after the announcement the price dropped a measly 20%. I call that a success.

As for mtgox, i think even if they find all the missing bitcoins, they deserve to go broke. I hope noone bails them out (blockchain, info hint hint!)

4235  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling BTC at Ebay on: March 26, 2014, 05:14:34 PM
I would be carefull with ebay. it may seem like you can sell off your coins for 1.5x the value but in reality its going to be a lot of hassle with a chance of getting scammed or funds locked up on paypal and such.

dont take the risk with ebay and selling bitcoins there.

yeah, it is the same with paysafecards. They sell for 2x the facevalue, but 99.9% of the buyers try to scam u with stolen ebay/pp accounts.

4237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New Proposal to reform all Exchanges on: March 26, 2014, 05:13:25 PM
Proposal reform to all Exchanges on their listing of all Crypto-coins format.

~Eliminate all Vote to list money grappling manipulable BS once for all replace with a system as in all stock markets doing:
~All new Crypto-coins eligible to be listed only as OTC (on the counter) coin as probation period until coin mature in price and traded vol acceptance.
~All Crypto-coins fall to as low as 0.00000001. will automated return as OTC status. Will be eliminate from listing after wks with no sign of improvement.
~Prohibit trades from pulling when price fall into range of +/- 0.00000010 or within 1% range, help eliminating price manipulation.

How's that sounds?

That sounds like it won't be done...

Exchanges don't scam people by listing coins, the scam by running of with customer funds , or listing the coins when normal people had no chance to deposit.
