4221  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Notre Dame destroyed by fire on: April 22, 2019, 07:16:19 AM
It looks like they have gotten past the $1bil mark in donations to rebuild the cathedral.  I heard it will take much more for the project.  I hope more generous donations come in soon to get this great monument back up again.

such pointless trash, rebuilding a chatedral of a religon a big portion of the population doesnt care anymore.
If they just donated that big amount to those who are in needs or in those in depressed area in the world. They could make a difference. It such a sad feeling that church are just for business only.

the people donate to what could help them, its simply that the french are rich.

i dont mind if the french invest into other things in france, i simply think notre dame will be not a good investment and they will be scammed by those restoration companies over and over again.

same like the greeks.

it will be painful to watch from germany as germany has the same currency with those people

Your comment is full of racism not only for a European country such as Greece, but maybe for all the European countries and you are off topic.

Notre Dame's fire is a huge cultural disaster and it affects the whole region.
We still need to find the causes and then take the precaution measures that needs to protect the region from future similar events. These are the most important actions that we need to take now, and not trying to take advantage of the situation to spread hate among nations.
4222  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crypto Millionaires on: April 22, 2019, 07:09:00 AM
How come none of the exchanges are in that list? Like Binance or Coinbase CEOs? Brain Armstrong's (Coinbase CEO) net worth is $1.3 billion and Binance's CEO Changpeng Zhao is also worth about $2 billion. This list is incorrect.

Because its a list of the youngest... Zhao is 42
If you open the link in OP's post you will find that Winklevoss brothers and Daniel Larimer are 37 y.o. Honestly there is only Vitalik Buterin on this list who is under 30. Since what time 37 is considered as young? Anyway, this list is pretty doubtfull, there is much more ppl around the crypto world that have millions worth of BTC and altcoins.

There are not many people in the world that have been rich in the age of 37.
In the attempts of being a millionaire 37 is considered a young age. Buterin is just a miracle as he managed to make it in 25 years old.
4223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 20, 2019, 06:52:50 PM

Btw, Juventus vs Fiorentina in like 20 minutes, a home win (or a draw) means the Scudetto for the 'Vecchia Signora', I'm expecting a bittersweet celebration since the real objective this season was the Champions League.

Congratulations to them. They were the best team in the league and they totally deserved it.
Ronaldo didn't manage to win the Champions League but he got an honorable title with this new team.
4224  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will make bitcoin price to brake its all time high on: April 19, 2019, 09:05:57 AM
There are many user cases of blockchain technology. Accepting crypto as a way of payment and transferring value in a blockchain is just a starter.
The most important thing is that added value can be created and when this happens the value of bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency market cap is going to reach their new all time highs.
4225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 19, 2019, 08:58:17 AM
Going for an easy city win this time though expecting spurs to be exhausted and city have the squad to start players like jesus/sane who are fresh.
Both teams will be exchausted, especially Tottenham who were running behind the ball pretty much the entire game. Though, mentally, I think City is the one a bit weaker in that regard.

I remember last year, City lost to United, then they were KO'd from the CL by Liverpool and everyone thought they were going to bottle it, next game against Spurs, they won, so the citizens are used to big dissapointments but they quickly recover domestically. Let's see if the same thing happens next saturday.

Interesting how the bookies have a home win @1.25 while a Spurs win is @9.00. It's payback time for the citizens, I'd go with H win and +3.5 goals lol

It will be more of psychological game for this match.
I don't think that City's 1.25 is a value bet, they will be very stressed because if they lose this match and make a consecutive two losses against Tottenham then they will be probably out of the Premier League title as well.
4226  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-13]WikiLeaks Receives $20,000 in Bitcoin (BTC) Donations 24 Hours After on: April 19, 2019, 08:41:11 AM
WikiLeaks has the same vision and mission as Bitcoin.
Both want to expose this fraudalent system that has been created in people's back. We want the truth and truth is going to be revealed if we all fight for it. Wikileaks is an ally of Bitcoin and we had to support each other against the attacks of the fake established system.
4227  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-17] Expectations and reality: economic benefits of Bitcoin on: April 19, 2019, 08:34:50 AM
The reason why more and more companies get involved in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is the uncertainty of where this road will lead. Will this be success or fail?
They need to be diversified and do not neglect any possible profitable opportunity. Bitcoin can bring a lot of economic benefits and especially in sharing economy which has started to grow rapidly.
4228  Economy / Economics / Re: Terrifying $243 Trillion Global Debt Bomb is a Disaster Only Bitcoin Can Fix on: April 19, 2019, 08:23:29 AM
This debt cannot be fixed by anyone. Bitcoin is not a debt deleter but an alternative to this bubble.
If someone holds bitcoin can escape from the negative consequences that debt is going to create in the society.
4229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 19, 2019, 08:05:49 AM
Real priced Bale on 130 mln euro.Anybody wants to buy

Bale is a good player but I think that Spanish La Liga doesn't fit his playstyle a lot.
130m are too much for him at this point of his career, he didn't make an amazing performance through these years in Real Madrid. He didn't fit anymore in Tottenham that would be a safe move for him lol.
4230  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: April 19, 2019, 07:37:47 AM
People spend/invest time in bitcoin and in cryptocurrencies because they expect to get bigger returns than spending their time in other activities.
In my opinion, it is better to spend time in the cryptocurrency industry and work in it, rather than work a 9-5 job that gives me pennies in my wallets and these pennies have no potential in growing in value.
4231  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Is Political, Not Technical on: April 19, 2019, 07:28:46 AM
After the recent economic crisis that started in 2008 with the fall of Lehman Brothers I understood that money is a tool for politicians.
They use it in order to cover their own bad political decisions and manipulate the crowd's opinion. They don't care about the cases that they create with regulations and other decisions that affect the society.

This is the reason why fiat is a scam and why this bubble is going to blow in the next years with a more disastrous crisis than the latest one.
4232  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Market state on: April 19, 2019, 07:18:59 AM
I cannot predict exactly what is going on in this market situation.
The increase of the bitcoin price that reached 5k - 5.5k was something that I couldn't predict. I will expect for some news to clear things up of give a clear sign for future trading decisions.
4233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 19, 2019, 07:04:58 AM
I like those fixtures for the semis.
I guess Ajax can go through even though Tottenham is a hard team to beat. They're now the favorites... which might actually not suit them.

In the other semi, LFC is my favorite. I don't really see any weakness in them. Not that Barca really has any but they have a few inexperienced (and immature) players that could fail miserably in such important games. Plus Klopp is a better coach than Valverde and that's an important point at this stage.

Both games are very interesting and they could be the final that would challenge the title.
For our good luck Ajax clashes Tottenham in the semi finals and one of them will jump to the final and grab a chance to win the Champions League.
4234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2018-2019 on: April 19, 2019, 06:59:59 AM
Another good results for premier league team Chelsea and Arsenal, congrats to them. Both champions league and Europa league have premier league team, so nice. Chelsea vs slavia match, nice try for Slavia, i thought they will make a big comeback lol but nope. Also good job Arsenal win on away match.

This season went well for the English clubs.
Very solid win for Chelsea, Slavia tried their best but they couldn't reach to a winning result. Now another interesting match comes for Chelsea as they are going to face Eintracht Frankfur and they have to win if they want to reach the final.
4235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Paypal Board Member: Bitcoin May Grow 250x on: April 18, 2019, 09:10:10 AM
Wences Casares, the CEO of Xapo and board member of Paypal, believes there is a 50% chance that bitcoin will succeed, causing the leading cryptocurrency to rise 250x in price from where it is today. Doing some math, this equates to $1.25 million per bitcoin. I'm not sure if this is a realistic figure, but it seems to be one of the most bullish calls in some time.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/04/14/paypal-board-member-bitcoin-btc-value-may-surge-by-250x-if-it-succeeds/

Just another guy who tries to spread FOMO.
If he really believes that when what is the reason why Paypal has such a huge distance from the cryptocurrency industry? Shouldn't they support withdrawals or deposits or at least give the option to their clients to buy crypto and hold them in their paypal accounts?
4236  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 18, 2019, 08:49:13 AM
Mass adoption can start from anywhere.
We just need to try to expand the already established community everywhere. As we getting more then more and more institutions will be pushed to adopt this innovative ecosystem.

In my opinion, if we want to expand our user bases we need more projects that can impact the real life of citizens and not just games and online casinos.
4237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i continue trading ? on: April 18, 2019, 08:35:10 AM
Trading is a more time consuming job than the regular ones. Some might think that trading only costs atleast 5 mins a day and after a profit, your good to go but it is not. You need to stay awake and manage all your trades, preparing all your TA ahead of time so you can't miss any opportunities. If you could handle all of that since you are an experienced one, I think you could handle it. Don't quit LOL, it's your job for two years now.

That's the biggest fault that everyone does. They think that trading is to spend some minutes a day and make huge profits and this is the reason why they fail. I think that the OP did the same or he couldn't find the correct sources of information that would help him take the decisions that can help him make profits.
4238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The arrival of cryptocurrency has been well and truly announced! on: April 18, 2019, 08:21:13 AM
I think that the arrival of cyprocurrency at the beginning began with no one to believe, as time went on bitcoin was traded and up to now with fantastic value, people have learned to cryprocurency because there is a value in bitcoin, as a means of investment and also for digital payment

We have still a long way to go because there are many people that do not believe in Bitcoin.
They don't really understand what are the benefits that it can give. They just care about making money fast without any return. That's sad and I think that something will happen that will change their opinion.
4239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 18, 2019, 08:10:56 AM
Now it will be interesting to see how the remaining games play out as Man City was knocked out of the CL tonight while Liverpool made it through to the semi finals along with Tottenham. Man City can now just concentrate on the Premier League while Liverpool have the CL to worry about so its going to be interesting to see how this plays out for the remaining matches in the Premier League. What is everyone's thoughts on this?

It's going to be very interesting to see how Man City will react after this painful exit in champions league, they should have been in the semifinals!
With odds around 10 for a Tottenham win, I'm going to find a good handicap bet on Tottenham!

Now they should focus on the Premier League fully, and it will be a disaster for them if they won't win the EPL title.
Guardiola made so bad coaching yesterday, especially after they conceded the 3rd goal but I think that he will make his best in order to get the Premier League title.
4240  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: April 18, 2019, 08:07:09 AM
They doesn't show any interest in cryptocurrencies and this happens because the market cap has dropped significantly and they don't see it as an investment opportunity.
The most reactions are like making fun of me that I spend money and time for nothing and I keep on that again and again.

thats bad but thats true because that event did happend to me one time  . some freind of mine approach me and ask me if what im doing i said im doing crypto works ( such as forum posting , doing some trade , some faucets and checking my portfolio ) but i see that they arent really interested because they dont do what i taught to them   .  idk if the are lazy or just confuse on what to do but im explaining the crypto properly   . i guess that not my fault .

I believe that the most significant thing that pushes them to be lazy is the fact that they don't get much money at once.
One friend of mine told me that there are not so many money that he will get, so it doesn't deserve to give some time to do it. They can't do it and consider it as a long term opportunity of making money. They just want to be rich overnight.
