Atlas, why do you care about the price of bit coins? If they are a currency, the only thing that should matter is that their value remain stable enough for vendors to use them. Why do you want to encourage a pump and dump by getting a large influx of new users with nowhere to spend the bit coins?

It blatantly is. Nvidia is best for driver support ( ATI has shittiest drivers ever - 100% CPU bug STILL present now ), gaming performance and general stability and usage as normal GPU. Only get ATI if you want to compute. Avoid otherwise. Fanboy detected. Worst driver are nvidia: remember the one with the fan bug that made the card MELT? I have no 100% cpu bug and perfect gaming performance and stability. Maybe i am a god? You're probably right about the fanboy thing. Dumb lazy AMD developers did not bother to fix it. Don't even try and say that ATI drivers > Nvidia drivers ! WHy do people only buy ATIcards when NVIDA is somuch better? Because nvidia is not "somuch better" but is CRAP for mining. But wouldn't buying 2 3GB 580 GTX's pay off sooner than a ATI? Oh i have to state a thing: you can sell EVE money for real money, so these scam were profitable (we are speaking about tens of thousands of dollars for scam or more)

Posting to say that all the universal police and inquisitors bullshit is epic useless.
Once more, that forum remind me the market forum of EVE Online, where the corporations asked for investment and such (and 99% of them were scam).
Multiple time they tried to defend from scams by creating a police, by having AUDITORS (ah i laughed so much at the auditors), by having collaterals etc etc... Guess what? Everything ALWAYS failed and the scam continued without problems, scamming more and more every time.
And the same happens here. You self entitled paladins of the bitcoin universe are u-s-e-l-e-s-s.
I'm not saying that every bitcoin thing is a scam of course, but remember to pay attention, after all we are dealing with money, so keep your eyes open.

I find the ATMs a good idea. They allow you to buy bitcoins very easily and without troubles. Buying them now imply using an exchange, send money to another banks, set up accounts etc etc... i am pretty sure this discourage a lot of people.

So you've decided the way to promote a global currency, possibly the first with true potential to break through traditional economic/ethnic divisions, is to divide everyone in little separate groups based on.. these same borders (mostly)? And you're going to do this using a medium (IRC) which is also global and communal by design, until will apply your scheme to it, then it becomes segmented and divided and just plain silly.
This will fail.
Time to step back and rethink. A project in country X will have many ideas and experiences useful to a project in country Y. Creating divisions along political borders just because... politic borders exist i guess? is not going to help bitcoin.
