4221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: January 27, 2023, 10:16:34 AM
The current bitcoin price situation can be confusing because today, the bitcoin price has gone up and down and doesn't move up or down too much, and it looks like the price looks sideways. Perhaps, we will continue to see the price like this until the end of the month, and probably in the next month, the price will start to rally again. But I don't know, that's just a temporary prediction while we also don't know for sure what will happen later. The important thing is to prepare your money. If you see the price is right for you, make a purchase.
I do not think that it will stay sideways for too long. I know that it has been sideways for a very long time before this increase, and people think that we may go back to that again and I understand the logic behind it. But, the cat is out of the bag and I believe that it won't happen again and again.

I think it is going to be something seriously good and we just need to make sure that we could end up with a good return eventually. The price has already moved big time, and it can't go back to sideways, it is going to keep making big moves, either up (which is the likely expectation) or down (unlikely) because once it starts being volatile, it's hard to make it go back to being sideways.
We will see whether it will stay sideways, increase or even decrease and get a deeper correction. What we can now see for a while is that the price is still going up and down, and this is good for us because we can buy at low prices a few times while accumulating more bitcoins.

But I don't know if the market will move up, but maybe it will move slowly up so that we won't even notice that the price has started to increase. We may only see increases and decreases, but behind that, there will be an urge to keep raising the price. It looks like this year will be a momentum for the bitcoin price to make something different from previous years. Let's wait.
4222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: January 27, 2023, 09:21:47 AM
The potential for a bull run is of course very large to occur this year, the biggest factor is of course because the trauma from the collapse of exchanges will end soon, investors will of course make FTX a valuable lesson so they will only choose top exchanges that have legality and strong capital, especially now that there are more and more countries that legalize bitcoin so that the potential to skyrocket is even greater.
I don't know if a bull run will happen this year, especially since the bitcoin price is still under $ 30k. It will not be easy for bitcoin to increase its price even to above $30k because it requires major support. But I'm still sure that the bull run will happen. Perhaps, next year is close to the halving process. Investors should learn much from the FTX case not to keep their funds on an exchange, even if it is a centralized exchange. It's best if they start moving their funds to a personal wallet that they can always keep an eye on.
4223  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 27, 2023, 08:42:21 AM
For some reason, it seems to me that this player easily parted with this amount.

Or it comes to mind that he was managing other people's money, and wanted to earn quick commissions by betting on a reliable outcome.

Anyway, this should be a great lesson for those with gambling problems.

But it could be worst if this is other people's money that he gamble and think that he can flip it quick and make a lot of money. And by that case, how can he pay those people now if he has taken the risk, that is the worst decision that this player will made, playing not his money but others who have trusted him.

So still gonna be sting, even if it from some millionaires, that $1.4 Million still, and for us, still big money to gamble.

And yes, just like the rest of us says, no safe bet even at that ridiculous odds.
If the 1.4 million the gambler gambled away is not his money(which I believe is unlikely) then that is the worst mistake any gambler can make, and I will tell that this gambler is in for a big trouble, ending up in jail is a very high possibility..

But I still believe that the gambler gambled away his own money, this is because putting a whopping 1.4 million dollars in a single bet, simply mean that the gambler is not a newbie, he or she already knows the rules in gambling and know that gambling with other people's money is too risky, so I believe he won't do that, not even with such a high amount of money.

I don't know, but if I will guess, yeah, I believed this is the gamblers own money. I mean if I'm a gambler and trusted by that kind of huge money, I might not put that in line because I will know the consequences of my action specially if I don't have the money to cover it, so what will I do? hide for the rest of my life?

Anyhow, for sure by now he is over with it and probably still gambling with the same casino or new one and could be betting that huge. Not to recover his losses, but most probably trying to enjoy and have fun with sports betting because he got more money to burn.
If it was the gambler's own money, he could be very depressed seeing the big loss he got and would not have the confidence to meet anyone because maybe the people around him have cursed him for having made one big mistake by gambling with big money. But yeah, we can only guess and don't know the truth. But what is certain is that it is a valuable lesson that we can reflect on so that we do not waste that much money on gambling and even make something that can make money for us. It will be better for our life later.
4224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is getting ready for $25K, How? on: January 27, 2023, 07:11:50 AM
The priority we have to do is to get our bitcoin ready in case we want to take part when the price can go back up to $25k. But we can also buy bitcoin again when the price reaches that price because, with the opportunity for the bitcoin price to reach the highest ATH again, the price of $ 25k is still a reasonable price to buy bitcoin. But it also depends on our readiness if it turns out that after reaching a price of $ 25k, the bitcoin price experiences a correction and falls below $ 25k.

But when will bitcoin reach a price of $25k again? I don't think anyone knows for sure about that. We only predict, leave it to the market, and can only wait and prepare everything.
4225  Economy / Economics / Re: In your country, today is money the real root of all evil? on: January 26, 2023, 04:27:28 PM
Money is like a double-edged sword that we can use for many things. If we use the money well, it can help us in many ways and vice versa. And the OP already gave examples on the money and it does have a point. So money depends on how we use it well so that we are not crazy just to chase money.

But in real life, many people chase money just to fulfill what they want and think that only money can solve every problem.
4226  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: January 26, 2023, 03:31:05 PM
maybe someone knows such bookmakers as https://www.zhb77.com/ or btc365.com (5 month ago) who have tf gaming or other chinese platform without KYC

would be very grateful if you could share these

We are close to launch and we are going to accept players from anywhere and no KYC ever !
It is better to not make promises which are impossible to fulfill, maybe when a casino is small they can get away with this, but as soon as you begin to manage a high volume of money through your casino then you will get the attention of the regulators which will basically give you two options, to follow the rules or shutdown, and if you have to confront that situation I would expect for you to follow the regulations put in place and ask for all kind of identifying documents from gamblers from that point on.
If he were really serious about his business, he would eventually launch his website to the public after ensuring everything was running smoothly. And if one day, the casino can grow big and the regulators approach the casino to follow the rules, that will not be a problem. But hopefully, the casino won't ask its users to do KYC so that we as gamblers who will later try to play at the casino, won't find it difficult to follow the rules.
4227  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: January 26, 2023, 02:27:35 PM
Saving money and saving is very similar but different. The difference is if you save money in the bank, maybe the return will not be big depending on the amount of money you keep in the bank. But most people who save money in the bank only pay fees from the bank instead of getting interest on their savings.

But if they keep their money in bitcoins, chances are they will get a very large return if they can constantly save in bitcoins until before the bitcoin price gets its long rally. But that will depend on the person because most people still prefer to keep their money in the bank.

4229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 26, 2023, 12:18:33 PM
Every casino owner must have prepared everything to be able to run his business, including preparing his capital to pay the winners. The problem is that some casinos don't pay the winners even if the winners provide proof that they weren't cheating. And it is casinos like this that we should avoid and not think that they will become famous one day. Indeed, there is no evidence to say that they have the money to pay the winners, but if they can really pay the winners and so far, they have not made false promises, it means that we can make the casino a place to play gambling.
4230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UK fines online casino for only asking KYC from winning gamblers on: January 26, 2023, 11:26:43 AM
Not all casinos are like that (the way you describe it) but there are some casinos who already mandate KYC in the beginning and then there are also casinos who only ask a KYC for the withdrawals who are really huge.

It's also the fault of the user. They won't be shocked and complain about this matter if only they are not lazy and knows how to read the terms and condition of the online casino that they will use. That new bill they are trying to pass seems positive for those who don't like the idea of surprise KYC but I think this was very alarming if this hit the crypto casino. Many of them are surely going to be discouraged to operate. We should be careful what we wish for.
Many gamblers think that online casino terms and conditions are the same between one casino and another. That is why many eventually find out that casinos have terms and conditions, one of which is about doing KYC at registration or when you want to make a large withdrawal. .

The casinos may be discouraged from operating, especially for casinos that often deceive their users by not paying their winnings for various reasons. This KYC issue is a serious problem for crypto gamblers because we don't want to reveal our identity to any site. But we also can't do anything if the terms and conditions of the casino are like that and we can only look for casinos that are not too strict in carrying out their rules.
4231  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: January 26, 2023, 10:33:15 AM
Quote
"If you don't gamble, you'll never win." – Charles Bukowski.

This quote shows that we will never know whether we will win or lose. In this life, we have gambled with ourselves, which has given many results, be it the success we have obtained or the losses we have received because we were not careful in carrying it out or getting it.

And it is true that we will never know the outcome if we don't gamble (try it).
4232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEX deserves all criticism but not the hate on: January 26, 2023, 09:32:09 AM
I've used a few of the exchanges you mentioned above and so far, I do not encounter any issues and everything is still working fine. I still use CEX over DEX due to the convenience factor of trading and I haven't tried using DEX yet.

But it's true what you suggest that we don't keep all our funds in CEX because we don't know what will happen later. We should anticipate all the things that might happen than regret it later.
4233  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 26, 2023, 08:42:39 AM
If the gambling casino is in the phone for sure there are a lot of panels that need to find before getting into it and another thing is if you are a developer why not create a web application that's responsive enough to cater the needs of the players can do in desktop and can do even in the mobile application so less more hassle with it, and streamers can do with the web application with their streaming so can easily promote with the casino unlike phone quite little bit hassle so I do prefer the web.

if you can cover both, that would be better so you can get all types of gamblers. because for sure, some will use the mobile app for convenience, wheres, some will use desktop for better experience. but do take note that players can switch anytime depending on their situation.

I highly agree, it really depends on where you are and how you easily access the device. The only question is if the gambling site can be accessed using a phone and fully optimized. Before, I am having problems when accessing a gambling site and needed to use a Yandex browser.
The factory has properly configured the phone so users can use it right away without any problems. And if you encounter problems accessing gambling sites, it may be because your internet connection is having problems or you are on the blacklist of the casino site. Gamblers who use phones to play gambling and access the site without using an application feel comfortable when they visit it. Still, there may be a big difference, especially in terms of the screen display on the cellphone, which is smaller than a laptop or computer. But so far, mobile phones have provided comfort for their users when they visit many sites.
4234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 26, 2023, 07:26:20 AM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?
^I don't think so because I have seen successful casinos those are accepted a wide variety of coins accepted.
People now are wanted always a convenient way of funding casinos, sometimes convenience and privacy always matter to players who are looking for a good casino. We have here a lot of gambling casinos, and I noticed those casinos successfully making a profit are those that accepted a wide variety of coins and have a lot of games. However, you can try to market it because it depends on how you will manage the marketing strategy, if you search Bustabit and Bustadice, they had 1 one of the games still yet they exist now.
But he can still give it a try to see how the market will react when he launches his casino. If the market response is good enough, he can go ahead with providing more updates on his casino. And if not, that means he will have to reorganize his casino and perhaps adding more coins to the casino could be one way to entice gamblers to try the site again. Having the casino's own token means that the casino has to provide exchange within the casino so gamblers can exchange their coins before starting to play. And it would be even better if casinos could list their casino tokens on reputed exchanges so that people other than gamblers can also benefit from the casino tokens.
4235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 26, 2023, 06:23:16 AM
We can all relate in this one , because there are many of us who gambles more when they start learning online casinos comparing when we are not in this area and we mostly experience more losses but accessibility wise more than playing in real life casino houses.
We have to be wiser in gambling because we will have a bad experience when we force our desire to continue gambling, even though we use our cellphones to gamble when we are outside the house. And indeed, online gambling can make us more addicted than when we go to physical casinos because of the ease of access that we can get in online casinos. And this is where we have to be wise in dealing with online casinos because I'm sure no one will want to become addicted to gambling after they play gambling.
4236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 26, 2023, 05:24:38 AM
.....
But I am still required by law to publish my personal information in public records as the CEO of the company. Why should an online casino be any different?
All types of companies are already required to submit their personal information to regulators are they not? Those records are not readily available to the public and they have to make some request before they can get it from what I know. The difference in what the OP is trying to do is that they're planning to release info that's probably beyond what's required by law.
And only the regulators will know the personal information of each of these companies. We as the public, will not know about it and the casino itself will not issue any news to the public about it either. And we don't need to worry about it. We just keep playing and hope to win. Whether the identity of the casino owner and his team are published or will remain anonymous will not be a problem for gamblers because if his identity is revealed to the public but the casino cannot provide good performance for its users, it will mean nothing.
4237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you into crypto at the moment? on: January 25, 2023, 05:30:52 PM
Of course, to make money. I saw the potential of crypto, which could provide a way to earn, be it from investing or trading, and this is what got me in crypto until now. The potential to make money from crypto also depends on how hard we try and what we do to make money. But all of that is not easy because we have to experience all kinds of things that exist in crypto, and only people who are really able to survive will make a lot of money or profits from crypto. And the potential to make a lot of money has many people joining with crypto.
4238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: January 25, 2023, 04:40:24 PM
It is better to be careful, which is what is needed in every case, one of which is about the current situation, maybe we are enjoying a turning point from 2022, where we were exposed to unfavorable realities in the previous year.
But it looks like we have to be prepared for boomerangs that can hit investors, traders, and myself at any time for the BTC price, which doesn't rule out the price touching $15k.
Just keep trading and investing in stocks, hopefully 2023 will be BITOCIN's ATH
If you want to trade, you must be able to be more thorough in your analysis because the situation has turned unpredictable in which direction bitcoin will move. Sometimes our analysis does not work well, and if we still decide to trade, we will likely suffer losses. Currently, bitcoin is undergoing a correction which could be a good time to buy bitcoin again before the price increases. But don't buy bitcoins in large quantities right away because we don't know if the price will immediately increase after this correction or if it will continue to decline even further. The important thing is that you can prepare the money to buy bitcoin if the price drops again.
4239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me about the coin portfolio. on: January 25, 2023, 03:43:40 PM
I must admit that I have a lot of altcoins in my wallet and have half of that total in bitcoins. I don't know what percentage between bitcoin and altcoins I have, but my bitcoin savings are worth more than my altcoins. My altcoins consist of coins in the top 100 list, and waiting for altcoin season to come back so I can sell them at peak prices. And right now, I want to increase my bitcoin amount instead of my altcoin amount because I feel I have enough altcoin reserves, and it's just a matter of time to sell them.
4240  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 25, 2023, 02:37:06 PM
It's hard to see bitcoin crashing to zero one day. However, it could happen when another technology is more promising than bitcoin and everyone in bitcoin is moving on and using that technology. And if indeed the value falls to zero, there will be extraordinary panic in the market because many people have bought bitcoins at various prices. They will experience depression after seeing the bitcoin price become zero. But until now, bitcoin is still holding up, and we are sure that bitcoin will create new ATH again after getting a long rally.
