Get have you done something with your node? What software are you using and are you sure you have inbound capacity?.

I'm about to go offline for about 12 hours so if you could come back in 12-14 hours with a new request I'll be able to process it for you or diagnose the problem (it could just be there's no route that joins us)..

Thanks!

Looks like you needed a memo with them (checking them from my end) and since you don't have one they now want to prove you own the address by sending another 15 to them?

I'd say do it if you're sure it's the coinbase.com site, you can deposit with the address and double check it on the app to make sure it's right before sending it but be sure to send from the same address and include a memo.

I’m pretty sure

As u can see it is verifyed page and this is the email address

help@coinbase.com

Yeah looks fine, only addition I can suggest is don't send anything to an address they send you but depositing via the website is the correct way to go...

I think they're just after proof you can sign something with that address and that it's definitely yours.

4226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: cancel unconfirmed tx on: May 19, 2020, 08:14:41 PM
The simplest way I can think of:
Take your computer offline
Go through the inputs that fund the transaction you want to change and import them into your new wallet (all but the last transaction can be imported without damagije anything but you'll only need the ones relevant that fund it).
Then go and just generate a new transaction in the preview tab, click sign and once its signed, click to broadcast the new transaction at a higher fee.

[edit]

You can just import the one input to invalidate the rest of them.
4227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: cancel unconfirmed tx on: May 19, 2020, 07:41:38 PM
-snip

You cannot cancel a transaction. Electrum does not support Full RBF so creating a conflicting transaction is not easy. You have to modify the wallet file.

Unless you have a second compy on a phone or another device then yes you'll have to edit and reimport the transaction.

I think I managed to get away with taking the device offline, editing the transaction, deleteing the one that was there and unconfirmed and importing the new transaction when I did it but it's been a while...
4228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: cancel unconfirmed tx on: May 19, 2020, 07:32:44 PM
What client are you using and is rbf configured?

Can you share the txid here also it'll help anyone to send you a new tx to sign if you don't want to do it yourself? If the fee is above 180 sats per byte you might need to be quick, if it's below then you'll be fine for a few hours...

Their support used to be active here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg3436171#msg3436171

Is it a problem with their server or yours? Have you tried sending yourself an email from another account to see if it goes trhough faster? You could try emailing them otherwise and ask them to process your withdrawal, forwarding on your withdrawal email and see if they are able to process it manually (if they have a support email)...
4231  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: I won 38 bitcoin in 1 night and was forced to give it back. on: May 19, 2020, 03:52:13 PM

And it could have been accused of stealing, since exploiting bugs to get money is some sort of stealing, after all.
Also the probability to withdraw all is not that big unless OP caught all the onwer(s)/admin(s) away for all that time. And big amount withdrawals are usually verified by a human.

If he didn't kyc or anything though then they could've done nothing to get their funds back, the 6.55 is still a nice amount if most of it was a profit on top and of he had kycd or used his own ip then they'd be able to track op down so he could've faced more problems by not declaring it (legal fees on top for example).
4232  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: I won 38 bitcoin in 1 night and was forced to give it back. on: May 19, 2020, 02:42:23 AM
Depends on the site and if 6.5 btc is a lot of money to you, especially if you didn't deposit much...

It was probably a wise idea to report the bug, if you really want to you could try asking them for the extra as a form of bouty for finding the bug but since legally you can normally only claim a finders fee of 10% on lost funds then the 6.5 is probably pretty reasonable.
4233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is Bitcoin compared to all world's Money?? on: May 19, 2020, 01:30:41 AM
There's a lot of room for bitcoin to grow but there's a question of how far it actually will... The derivatives market at the bottom of that site is also huge, that could inflate bitcoin (although it's harder to do than with other assets but telling someone you'll take care of what they have - like Central governments did with gold - could have a massive impact).

4234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best proposal message ! on: May 18, 2020, 03:46:49 AM
I'm not sure whether you're going to find anything on here without becoming a bounty manager and I don't know if they're actually paid in tangible assets (and not some random valueless bounty coin)...

I'd say you might want a letter written in good English but if your English isn't very good that'll be a problem and may look obvious so in stead I'd probably just suggest to make something concise with what you have and send it out to people when they're looking for applicants. Probably adding sections in the services for marketplace and altcoin marketplace to your notify list so you get an email as they post.

Other than that good luck!
4235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: unconfirmed transaction on: May 16, 2020, 03:21:23 PM
What software are you using, do you have a possibility to pump the fee if you right click the transaction (or look at the transaction details).

I'd suggest bumping the first to 20-50 sats per byte and see if that helps it confirm if you can, if not you'll proabably have to calculate the difference and do a CFPF but i'm not sure how far back miner's clients will go to check this...
4236  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: bc1 Native Segwit with Electrum on: May 15, 2020, 06:34:07 PM
I can when using it with trezor. It asks for a pin, a password and then lets you pick your derivation path and address type...

Caps lock button stuck 🤣?

Anyway, I saw an Ann here that the original project was discontinued last year, potentially the new occupant of the domain is a scammer I don't know if you've got much hope here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1089301.msg11610411#msg11610411
4238  Other / Meta / Re: How to find your post in a topic? on: May 15, 2020, 04:49:41 PM
You could try putting the thread title and your username into a search engine. Or you'd have to search every page for your post... If you know when it was posted, it might be faster to review your post history.
4239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Ubuntu 20.04 Bitcoin-Core Snap: Permission for external disk on: May 15, 2020, 03:01:05 PM
I don't know how helpful this'll be but permission looks like it could depend on the drive partition format: https://askubuntu.com/questions/93109/cant-write-to-ntfs-formatted-drives

I'm guessing the drive is fully kounted/findable in /media/drivename to you and you see able to write to it?
4240  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Unconfirmed Transaction for almost 16 hours! on: May 15, 2020, 02:30:19 AM
No there's no chance of you're funds being lost and if they were sent from your own wallet and not an exchange they'll be easy to resend if they do bounce...

If you don't need them urgently, I'd suggest waiting it out, if you do therell be cpfp or rbf you cna use but it'd be helpful to know if there's a bump fee option first or how it looks in the wallet?
