Well to be honest there hasn't really been much promotion by the dev team at all. Lucky for May that some mainstream news sites have written articles about the coin which has given it some good exposure in the last couple of months, well since the start of the year. I do think that maybe there should be some more promotion on social media as I don't see much people talking about the coin except for a few, myself included. |

Not sure about anyone else here staking is getting a lot of stakes daily but I know I am which I wasn't before on the old wallet. Is this because not many people have updated to the new wallet yet? It just seems strange to me that all of a sudden I'm getting like 6 to 10 stakes a day when compared to around 3 or 4 on the older wallet.
Here is whats happening: People are taking 1000 VGS, and creating a "casinodes" (Masternodes). So before they were staking .5 VGS, now they are NOT staking 1000 VGS, and instead getting masternode rewards. I like it this way, everyone gets more. Gonna test the 32bit wallet, and if everything is ok, release. Just to let you know mining Boat is now over and its only PoS now until all coins have been mined/minted. If you like to start PoS then all you do is buy some coins and have them sent to your wallet and start staking them to earn staking rewards. You will need to encrypt your wallet with a passphrase and then send your coins to the wallet, then unlock the wallet for staking and leave it open to earn stakes. If you can leave it open for as long as possible to earn the most rewards. |

Since the lower APR now I have noticed a drop in the network weight. I'm now actually thinking of having my Elite coins in 1 million blocks instead of the 2 million blocks I currently have them in. It seems that people might not stake now due to this lower APR but it gives others a chance to stake and even newbies getting in. So I'm going to give this a try and see how it goes.

I remember my first ever bet and it was on the Melbourne Cup in 1993 which is a horse race which almost every person in Australia bets on lol. I was only 8 years old at the time and I put a $0.50 bet on a win and place. I was lucky to have won some money as my horse finished 3rd, of course I had a family member put the bet on for me. I had a bet on the Melbourne ever since then, with just a couple of dollars each year except for last year where I didn;t bet on the cup for the first time since 1993. So that was my first ever bet.

Not sure if many people on this forum are interested in betting on the Commonwealth games but I know I am as I like to bet on the swimming and many of the other sporting events at this years Commonwealth games. I know its only for the Commonwealth countries but its always fun to bet on some of the sports like swimming, track and field events, basketball, netball and hockey. So I decided to start this topic to see if others on here are interested in betting on these games.
I bet mostly on the swimming and team events like the basketball, netball and hockey. Then next week I'll bet on the track and field events. I look forward to other peoples posts and thoughts on betting on the Commonwealth games.

I firmly believe this is really the best time to gamble especially using faucet claims, like in freebitco.in, you actually earn huge amount of profit and holding them for future can help you to become financially stable. I believe after few more years bitcoin value will be doubled or tripled again so better start keeping some from your earnings in gambling.
I do agree with you that maybe gambling with faucet/s claims is the way to go right now as now faucets are paying a little more then when BTC was over 10k. But again people don't want to get too greedy and try and earn some profits daily. I personally don't think there is a good or bad time to gamble as I gamble on sports all year round. When it comes to crypto I think it could be a good time to get in if people have the spare money to buy and hold for the future and as always only put in what you can afford to lose as we never know where crypto is heading in the short to mid term. |

Thanks guys for the replies, I got it running again. It was my fault as I didn't let the wallet sync the additional data lol and I then clicked update status and it went from missing to enabled lol. I now know what to do as this was my first ever masternode to own and run so I'm still working a lot of things out when it comes to masternodes. Thanks to Grimer and Sentti for the help.

Well I added all these fresh nodes to my honey .conf file to see if that would help with getting more active connections but it didn't seem to work as I still have just 1 active connection. For some reason my wallet has always had just 1 active connection but I am worried that maybe one day that connection will go down and my wallet will stop staking. I'm not sure what to do but as long as I have 1 connection it is fine but I would like to have more.

We don't have to wait long now for PoS and zercoin protocol which I know most of us have been waiting for. Soon we'll be able to earn even more rewards for us Masternode owners as we earn from the masternode and then we can also stake the rewards which I'm going to do and work my way up to another masternode ready for when txbit exchange is launched. Solaris offers so much and now is the best time to try and pick up a masternode.

Ha, won all my bets tonight  I made bets on Arsenal, Atletico and Lazio wins. It was profitable week for me in Champion and Europa league I watched Atletico - Sporting match and Atletico played well and deserved to win. Sporting wasted great chance to score a goal on additional time. And I didn't expected such big win by Arsenal. Now they are almost in next round. But Golovin scored really beautiful goal After today's performance now I feel Arsenal can go through to final they play very good game and win by a good margin give them some good confidence Atletico and Lazio also was very good at home these 3 can go through in last match Frenchies still open for last spot The British representative must advance as far as possible in the Europa League. Rivals in the Europa League is not a tough rival so if the English representative should be killed, make sure they are killed by another big team. Arsenal can not only advance to the final, but they can win Europa League, they have to. I think with the way Arsenal are playing in the Europa League they have a very good chance at winning it and at least get something out of the season. A lot like Man Utd did last season when they have an okay season but what made it even better was winning the Europa League which I think Arsenal can achieve if they continue to play the way they have been playing. |

That's great to see as more people start to learn about 421 coin and the power it offers with staking. I also think 421 is now getting a lot of people from 808 coin which is great as both coins work perfectly together staking. Well they are for me as I stake 808 coin first and then a day or so later I earn a 421 stake. I even use some of my 808 coin stakes to help build my 421 stack so I can earn more stakes. Works perfectly! |

I'm also waiting on the DNotes vault to come back online as that is where I have been storing all my DNotes since I got into this coin. I'm also really looking forward to the future with DNotes as they seem to be heading in the right direction and all this time and patients I believe will pay off in the near future! Mandatory update incoming in the next few days! All old nodes will be booted off the network, so you MUST update your wallets/nodes/masternodes/pools/etc.!
Thanks Carsen! I'm sure that this will then fix all the issues most of us are having with the wallet getting stuck and all the sync issues many of us are facing when opening up our wallets each day. I think Carsen has done a wonderful job so far as this is the first coin that I have been involved in where when the dev implements masternodes there isn't a completely new wallet and blockchain like most of the other coins where we need to swap our old coins for the new masternodes coin. From what Carsen has done it has saved DNR from getting delisted from Cryptopia as they delist coins when they swap to masternodes so a lot of credit goes to Carsen for what he has been able to achieve. |

It will be hard to see Australia save this test match even though Shaun Marsh is at the crease who is a patient batsman and can survive a whole day but not sure about the other batsman in the Australian lower order. If they can pull it off and save the match it would be a huge stepping stone moving forward after everything that has gone on in this series. It will be the first time in a long time since Australia lost a series in South Africa which was a credit to the Australian team to achieve as we know South Africa have been a top team for over 20 years so for Australia to have this record is amazing but it looks like its finally going to come to an end as South Africa will win the series.

I had my Feirm masternode running for over 2 weeks and now all of a sudden it says its missing. Not sure what happened as my other masternodes I'm running on the same VPS are still enabled and running just fine. Does anyone know what could cause my masternode to stop running? Thanks in advance! By the way its great to see the ICO is launched! I hope the team do well and sell most of the nodes they have for sale.

The new wallet seems to be working perfectly for staking at the moment. I am planning on setting up a masternode in the near future on my VPS but first I'll let everything settle down a bit before setting one up. I have also spread the word on Twitter about the new wallet update which people need to update asap so I hope people are listing out there.
