4221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi steal other people's ideas for Bitcoin and one reason why he left? on: December 07, 2019, 03:42:51 PM

if possible any of those guys is probably satoshi himself. satoshi must have been part of the cryptography group who had been trying to solve the double spending for the longest time just like those people in the list. the idea had been around for decades and in his whitepaper he also mentioned those names. that itself means their study had helped satoshi's success that ain't a secret to anyone.
4222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This just happened after Bakkt CEO becomes US senator! on: December 07, 2019, 03:23:09 PM
But how sure are we that these people have good plans for cryptocurrency? Okay, I know that this CEO of Bakkt, Loefler, shows herself as a crypto enthusiast, but I have done my research on her and I don't really know if these people are being honest or they just have some evil plans.

First of all, I've discovered that she's one of those that attended FIFA women cup as Trump's Presidential Delegation. We all know that Trump is a big hater for anything cryptocurrencies, and even that same month he tweeted how much he disapproves of the use of crypto. Now if the CEO of Bakkt is working closely with such a person, how sure are we that they have good plans for cryptocurrency?

I have also seen commentators that claimed CME Group and Bakkt means an attack on cryptocurrency. And Chico Crypto said on Twitter that these organizations are fighting crypto and keeping the dollar on top.

true. the fact that this bakkt doesn't help the price, its CEO now positioned to hand the information to the government. i don't even think anyone here registered there in bakkt.

ted casiño also is an asshole who wants Duterte administration to fall, this guy had been supporting insurgency his whole life.  he doesn't deserve shit in government. i doubt he has any slight idea about blockchain. the last shit comes out his mouth was supporting the vandalism in the city for being art.
4223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: December 07, 2019, 01:50:56 PM
new investors were rekt since the beginning of 2018, they wouldn't be coming until the market will be stable.  or another xi jinping shills. china adoption are looked at to be significant in crypto community and for BTC price to go up that public may says its being pumped again.

trusting altcoins are just too much to ask for new comers because by the look of the altcoin's history since 2017, the prices had gone from bad to worse.
4224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The importance of bitcoins :) on: December 07, 2019, 01:03:28 PM

its about how decentralized and how secure BTC is. and i mean it when it comes to POW of BTC in miners perspective that's why coiners sees it to be important.  there is nothing like it. and for some of us its about its value that makes it important. right now there are thousands of coins but all of them are paired to BTC as it act like the base currency. you can compare it to USD when it come to fiat.
4225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 06, 2019, 09:12:08 PM
well for someone who purely believes in bitcoin, all altcoins might just be bad. but you can see them trading BTC/usdt which USDT still can be considered an altcoin. ETH should be bad for them as well if they really consider 99% of all cryptocurrency to be shitcoins but you can see them demonstrate trading DOGE. you know there are lots of reason why they may be saying it, most probably they want the weak hands to sell.

4226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: December 06, 2019, 08:18:15 PM
it happens to a lot of people actually, what hes saying could be true. back 2016 the of this coin is less than $0.50 while its 30k satoshi. now that its price is just 8k satoshi but  more than $0.50, one will think he still gained and will decide to sell. happens to me that im confident i'm still gaining but in reality when we talk about satoshi price, i'm losing BTC.  if the price don't go as lot as $0.15 as it was like years ago, we might not be seeing the price go back up.

don't call me fud for that. because it could happen.

Dude! I myself when i buy a certain coin thats mean its my decision my choice and if price decrease or down ...believe me i wont come here whining and crying for that choice.
About that guy above i can tell that i spent much time on this forum to recognize someone who wake up his multiple dormant full or sir member accounts to fud and bash legit projects and you are Legendary member i guess you have seen a lot of this practice before.

all i'm saying is that prices in BTC and i mean satoshi wise is what is more important than the USD price of the coin. 0.00007625 BTC is 1 WAVES yesterday its 0.00007500 while the price still is the same as $0.56 that's a big different if you hold thousands of WAVES.

waves is too hard to trade, you'd be better be leasing yours this time aside from buying if you really believe this project. its a slow pace platform actually, if you look at the dappsradar, they only have few dapps.

4227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It’s a curiosity to know on: December 06, 2019, 07:49:40 PM

i don't know how they promoted coinbase that it got that much signups but really i wouldn't believe it if those new signups are actively trading. some just tried using the credit card of their father buying some BAT and some cheap coins and store the coins in there. not knowing that coinbase can also do an exit scam one day. those newly registered users are the most innocents of all so buying using the credit cards of their parents and hopes the cheap coins they got will turn thousands in the future.
4228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Games that everybody likes on: December 06, 2019, 05:55:08 PM

should have been a game that everybody wins. unfortunately there is nothing like that.

if there is one game that everybody plays i guess its dice alone. assuming everyone does have BTC and have once registered to an exchange and started trading once in his life, he should have been learning to trade by now. but since people doesn't seem to consider trading as a gamble as well. assuming all have tried trading i think binary options should be one of the game that crypto users must try.
4229  Economy / Services / Re: Needs Moderators for Local Forums- coinstalks.com on: December 06, 2019, 04:09:56 PM

if ver's forum isn't even gaining forum users, yours will be way behind in this competition. cryptotalk pay per posts works as of now but they may have to spend a lot of money until it gets users on regular basis that they need not to pay. but once they see users are forced to register in order to reply an allegations to the company they support they may have chances to make things rolling.  for coinstalks, its an uphill battle.
4230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: December 05, 2019, 07:01:09 PM
Dont trust this scammer, you will lost money!

You mean, because you lost your bet?
I bought at 16000sat and sold at 8200sat

You didn't post since October 16, 2017 and in last 2 days you are active only on Waves thread, you look like a Fudster/Troll than a trader, Anyway one weak hand left which is good thing for Waves hodlers.

it happens to a lot of people actually, what hes saying could be true. back 2016 the of this coin is less than $0.50 while its 30k satoshi. now that its price is just 8k satoshi but  more than $0.50, one will think he still gained and will decide to sell. happens to me that im confident i'm still gaining but in reality when we talk about satoshi price, i'm losing BTC.  if the price don't go as lot as $0.15 as it was like years ago, we might not be seeing the price go back up.

4231  Economy / Reputation / Re: P2PB2B - resolving "scam alerts" and misunderstandings on: December 04, 2019, 07:38:42 PM
We are ready to solve all user issues arising in the process of using our exchanger. Since we have already raised this topic, this should signal that we have chosen a truly professional support and are learning from our mistakes. We ask users who set the flag and the red trust to treat this with understanding and give us the opportunity to prove that we deserve positive feedback.

We have fulfilled our agreement and are ready to launch a signature campaign with escrow, so that there would be no contentious issues among DT. We hope that bitcointalk.org community will earn money on this campaign. And no one will be marked with red trust.
We are ready to start the campaign, and bring more than $1000 every week thrue escrow. But, negative trust must be deleted from P2PB2B Bounty Manager and p2pb2b.io as the trust greatly affects on the participants.

you can ask them to remove but i doubt they will though. those guys are known to have been marking users doing sketchy activities. but you can go ahead with your signature campaign even with the negative rep, it doesn't affect the campaign as long as you have the escrow and also not a moderated thread because that one is also a sketchy activity. the only who do that are the ones who has plans to delete posts.
4232  Economy / Services / Re: I can assist in cryptotalk.org bounty on: December 04, 2019, 06:26:15 PM
Although on the one hand your proposal seems to be decent, because you just want a payment for writing texts such as someone would pay you for preparing a text on a topic on his blog. On the other hand, this type of task does not seem ethical.
I will leave it to everyone for consideration individually.

Thanks for the unbiased comment about the proposal.

what do you have to lose when all you can do is write while those who will allow you to pilot their account is going to lose their account when turned scam by selling the account.  nothing will hold you accountable for what is going to happen to the account.

I guess I've seen this kind of offer before, not sure it was you.
The person will make a reply, put it in txt file and that will be sent to the account owner, therefore account is not at risk as no need to share password to this user, however, you are not helping the forum to contribute your genuine idea, that's one thing, and the other which is bigger is the post could possibly violate the anti plagiarism rules the forum has strictly impose, that's a perma ban for those doesn't know the penalty yet.

and exactly what could happen. if you don't get negative the worse prermaban.  if OP is so good at writing there are blog and article campaigns for you.
4233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Question about vindax on: December 04, 2019, 05:02:17 PM
its a common practice of new exchanges to fake volume, the popular exchanges today that we have been trading on were also doing it years ago. this is purely marketing for them
and IEO aren't bought by investors.  there were few projects already that fail in vindax, i have no idea if the investors were refunded but i really think this exchange is likely to just shutdown. there are popular exchange why chose this one.
4234  Economy / Services / Re: I can assist in cryptotalk.org bounty on: December 03, 2019, 07:13:36 PM
people won't even give access to their brothers nor sisters and yet you come up proposing to post for them. that would mean all the rights to the account handed over to a stranger. you're dreaming.  if someone from the forum who will really be giving their account, he deserves to lose his account. this guy might just sell your account the moment you give your logins and by the way yobit right now isn't paying, they might stop the campaign its up to them. do yourself a favor, try an attempt that isn't too obvious. scam somewhere else.
4235  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🍀[FREE CPU]🍀BetHash.io🍀 | Free $4,000 GiftBox Offer |💰Lottery 🎲Dice 🎰Slots on: December 03, 2019, 03:18:26 AM
Had a lot of fun playing bankers bull earlier today, that game definitely needs some more attention around here, easily one of the most entertaining crypto casino games.

Any word when new games will be added? Would love to see a crash style game.

is it worth joining?

i'd like to test even just with 50EOS. if i see it worthwhile i'd probably be joining for more but i'd like to ask some comments about it. i looked at it before that is only asks 10k TRx. what made them changed it to EOS this time?

the amount for dividend distribution is getting low nowadays also. maybe it once again need marketing and new games.

4236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning DEX Fees VS Earning CEX Fees. Thoughts? on: December 02, 2019, 07:44:16 PM

its not true that dex is owned by anyone, just check mcafees dex if its not his. the reason why its safe to trade on dex is that your coins are not going to be sent on them but stays in your wallet, this is if you are comfortable sharing your privkeys to them.  to me its a lot worse than just sending the coins you intend to trade as capital than giving your private key by loging-in using it. so far blocknet is the best that we can use instead of forkdelta and the likes.
4237  Economy / Economics / Re: The US & China Trade War is Nothing, Worry About Business and Bank Failures on: December 02, 2019, 07:56:52 AM
Couldn't care less about their trade war but about the actual state of their economy. There are signs of another collapse for the US. China ain't really doing great as well. Historically, these are times when society becomes turbulent.

We can only hope that this don't lead into more conflicts. The Chinese for example usually focus their attention outside as distraction whenever their economy is not doing well.

the war is already depicted  but not in  any soil of course. analyst sees Guam and Philippines  to be the war zone. obviously none of them wants their country  to  be the  battle ground and the conflict lies on whether Philippines chose sides. They've all violated international  waters in the Philippines  its just a matter of which shoots the first but thanks to Duterte he manages to  make peace with the Chinese since he doesn't want Philippines to be the  battle ground either.

Philippines can be benefit  between the two if played well economically since Philippines is not going  to experience financial crash, there are more resources in the country as its an archipelago. Not going  to be affected to their  trade war.
4238  Economy / Economics / Re: Hi Excuse me Are currencies a "store of value on: December 02, 2019, 07:27:01 AM
the  government decides the value of  currencies which is why its not volatile as it is. the government also decides its volatility by not or printing more of it. now that we know 90% of its value were  lost, what was lost in BTC when its  growing exponentially over the years of existence? due to it people are already considering BTC as investment not even a currency. the  adoption  had helped it grow.
4239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make Bitcoin 'QUANTUM PROOF'! on: December 02, 2019, 06:33:43 AM

it was said that quantum can only break and possibly hack an address that had been used once since its public key is already known in the record. but if the address hasn't been used even once, then  its safe to assume its not going  to be affected. but this  isn't even 100% sure yet so possibly just a softfork.

quantum isn't real yet so maybe it would take another decade before it could happen. we'll never knew. it may be use to once again bring the price down so the institutions can get more btc for cheaper price. quantum  is probably just for  fud.
4240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Be the Saving Grace for Ailing Banks? on: December 01, 2019, 09:51:36 AM

banks will try find some ways that they'd still be used by people despite the fact that the wallet itself can function like a bank already. so what does the bank do again this time, they will still ask money for storing your coins to them?

although there will be users who will be embracing banks to also accept cryptocurrency deposits, it will really be unlikely for the people to use banks especially the ones who knows why satoshi created BTC.

I don't think banks will start accepting crypto deposits! The German parliament suggested banks to use cryptos for their own reserve fund and also to participate in the crypto market to generate income! But it's highly unlikely that banks will start accepting crypto deposits from the mass!

There's no issue in embracing cryptos in mainstream banking system, but there will be strong protests from the banking fraternity! It's not always easy to embrace your strongest enemy!

not allowing deposits is good. it doesn't sound like banks already but that's good. banks participating in trading will be cool, that means they will also be holding coins as reserve funds. i'm not sure how they get these coins for reserve funds if not thru the deposits from the mass. i'm thinking the people deposit fiat/cash and those cash are going to be used to buy coins.

banks are going to embrace crypto, they don't have a choice but to embrace the technology. crypto users however are trying to get away from banks.
