4222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Enhanced restriction in gambling casinos is it possible on: May 10, 2020, 11:02:18 AM
There are boxing events that are being held, there are talks that some sporting events are going to push through with enhanced restrictions, is it possible with gambling casinos, of course, you can play a slot machine on your own, they just need spacing on every slot machine, on roulette games they can install glasses to avoid every bettor coming near to each, other so are on the other games .

Do you think it's possible for gambling casinos to open now with enhanced restriction and customized set up, what do you think ?

People go in casino to enjoy and have a party time. Most of time they are drunk and it will be very difficult to make them follow the new rules of social distancing. I think it is not a good idea to open casinos even with a more restricted environment.
4223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: May 10, 2020, 10:45:06 AM
Moderate is good but the higher it is the more dangerous they are. People become addicted to drugs and drink when they constantly have the high adrenaline level in their body.

That's likely the effect of gambling addiction as no gambler would just gamble all day, sometimes this addiction would not allow us to sleep since we don't have a peace of mind, therefore these addicts will try do drugs and drink so they can be calm and they'll be able to sleep when they are too drunk.

I was not gambling addict and never wanted to be one but in this 1.5 months I have played gambling more than usual. I am afraid I could become gambling addict if this lockdown continues for long. When i have nothing to do, I just go to the gambling site and start playing dice.

4226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: House Edge vs. Luck - the Last Stand on: May 10, 2020, 06:38:11 AM
The problem is not that people do not understand this fact. The problem is people believe they can beat the facts. We all know gambling is favored towards the house in a big way. First is the house edge, second is the limits on bets (which limits martingale tactics for example).
Then,,, you have to deal also with normal emotion of chasing losses or believing in streaks.
Lot of people tend to think this way, they think they are winning against the house but literally they cannot. People always count how much they win today but did not count how much they have lost yesterday, even me it does not matter to me if I lost this day, what my mindset is that I can get it back tomorrow then I'm going to win tomorrow the half of what I have lost yesterday, it repeats itself. If you are gambling just for the sake of entertainment then good for you, you won't might even notice the house edge.

You can be lucky one day, two days but you cannot be lucky forever. One day you will lose all of your earnings from gambling because on a unlucky day you will lose all your profits too. People do win because of luck sometimes but more people lose because they are unlucky most of the time.
4227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: May 09, 2020, 11:07:54 PM
if yes, how do you track it?
simples spreadsheets, physical notebooks or maybe some different way?

Although I do not track any of my gambling win or loss, but for those who want to track is there any ready made software available in the market where you just input the value and it will give you graphs and data for analysis ? This will be easy for people who really what to know how much they are winning/losing in gambling.
4228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering More or Wagering Less on: May 09, 2020, 10:54:04 PM
It's a general perception that if we gamble more, we can get more profit. Also we see gambling sites offering wagering competitions. The more you wager, you become eligible for a reward or prize money.

What's your though on this ?   Wagering more makes you win more money in gambling?
If the only given option in order to (possibly) win the prize is to wager more then, gamblers will take that option but I'm wondering if it gives us profitable in such a thing that the more we gamble, the more lose. And for that sake ( eligible for the reward), maybe I sound tempting but I don't have to take the risk either but rather to play in the normal.

The gambling site gives this temptation gamble more and wager more because they knew that if you wager more there are chances that you will lose more and hence who will benefit when you lose ? Right, the gambling casino is the direct benefiter. Since many people wager and lose, they can easily give bouns as they have gathered so much money from such competitions.
4229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sudden fall in bitcoin price after successful halving, Post-halving prediction. on: May 09, 2020, 05:58:45 PM
As per my previous experience, whenever the majority of the people think, the opposite of that happens. Everyone is thinking that bitcoin price will dump after halving but we never know how whales going to play out this time around. They can push the price to 12000$ making a fomo or a bull trap for us.

One thing that will at least make me uncomfortable is about privacy, because KYC on the fiat money casino site is something that is required so that we can withdraw our money. Aside from KYC, I think the fiat money casino has the advantage of lower costs too, but it depends on each other's perceptions, because even so, I will still choose to use crypto online gambling or crypto casino because I prefer privacy and not look for lower costs.

No KYC requirement is really one of the best perks in crypto casino. You don't have to deal of sending your docs, where you have no idea where will it end up to after the casino is done with it. I believe a lot of gamblers are now looking at crypto casinos because of this advantage alone.
The very common advantage where most of the gamblers who learned about this venue has been attached l, most of those crypto gambling house offers this features though there are some exemptions due to the company rules. But if you are not doing any wrong there's no problem to take place.
Still there are different opinions in regards to types of entertainment and customers experienced that being take place when choosing the place to gamble.

Another thing which may be a disadvantage in online crypto casino is that they can scam you anytime. Lets suppose you won a big amount of money in gambling and they may held your withdraw without any reason. On the other hand, if you are physically present in the casino, they have to pay you instantly no matter how much amount of money you won.
4232  Economy / Gambling / Re: My urge to go to land base casino in this lock down and how I fight it. on: May 08, 2020, 06:21:17 PM
There are a lot of ways to do inside your house, but the most important thing to do is to develop your relationship with your love ones at this time of uncertainty, doing things and playing together to build a relationship, if you are doing things with your family you can overcome the urge to gamble.

I tried this but believe me it is not possible to forget the gambling or casino. The fun which you can get at the casino is not comparable to the fun at home or even in online gambling. I eagerly wait for the lockdown to finish so that we can return to casinos.

Warren Buffett described fear and greed as diseases that infect investors in a shareholder letter in 1986. "We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful," the billionaire investor said.

Bitcoin entered in the greed phase, is it time to take profit ?

There are many advantages of gambling in crypto casinos, e.g. privacy and speed. Or something else?
But are there some disadvantages for you compared to fiat money casinos?

Perhaps, we don't know where the money comes from, and sometimes the capital has a connection with drugs, illegal funds, corruption or another thing. The other disadvantages are the price of crypto is too volatile, and we don't know how much the price tomorrow or the next week. With the anonymous sender, we don't know who are they behind the wallet, and they can play gambling without anyone knows. Probably, people don't look at the disadvantages of crypto gambling site because they use crypto to hide from other people, and they can use crypto as the money.

Yes, some people use crypto gambling websites to deposit bitcoins and do money laundering because there are no KYC on these sites. Well, there are evil minded people everywhere and we cannot call it a drawback of online casino.

I never tried depositing a huge amount on any gambling sites but I think in terms of withdrawals of huge amount the gambling site will conduct a KYC verification to know the legitimacy of the costumer, but I'm not sure if this is implemented to the other gambling site since if the case they are just letting it happen then money laundering is really easy by using the casino as landing point.

For sure the scammers or those who do money laundering are smart people , they will check each site KYC requirement and make the transactions within the defined limits to avoid the KYC and all such stuffs. Money laundering is very much easy because there are a lot of sites which do not require any verification to withdrawal.

4237  Other / Meta / Re: Why Same MERITED Rankers send Merits to themselves? on: May 06, 2020, 06:35:37 PM
Hello...

I have a question which concerned to merit? I came to notice that we have lots of newbies who are trying very hard to get merits here on this BITCOINTALK forum. With lots great topics that contributes and also supports to put this forum in a great shape in future. I believe legendary is the final rank on this forum Right?

Now what is the difference for a legendary to MERIT another legendary who is already a legendary RANKER on this forum, same goes to other SAME Rankers on the forum.

This alone I believe makes few low rank members in the forum ask this questions in their thoughts.

Please your REASONS for this welcomed...

Getting merit is not only to increase the rank but it also confirms in one way that the person is writing quality posts. Also if any member want to get into signature campaigns the managers do check if he have recently got some merits in last 120 days. (As only last 120 merits are visible on the profile).
Merit is sort of an award which makes you superior than the others. Good writers are judged on the basis of merits. The more merits you have, the better writer you are, who contribute to the forum.

4239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Before Experience On Gambling...!!!! Stay Safe. on: May 05, 2020, 01:12:54 PM
As everyday, ending the day with sleep is the routine of everyone. Same as that I went to sleep with my girl, she was sleeping next to me placing her hands over me. In between I woke at the midnight, and I wasn't able to sleep till 1:00 AM. I started to gamble on mobile, my girl has placed her hands over me. Within a minute she suddenly woke and started to cry what happened to you. Your body sense different, and kept questioning, are you feeling Ok. Please feel free to say if you're feeling uneasy of anything. I understood it is due to the gambling, consoled her promising that I won't gamble for now. She advised me, when we're in sleep and an immediate increase in the heart pumping has got highest chance of cardiac arrest. Finally it has got to be one of the memorable days of my gambling.

Lets stay safe while gambling, though it is fun and excitement source there is lots of pressure being experienced by each and every gambler as we risk our earnings for a bigger amount.

I do not think this has to do anything with gambling. You kid may be woke up due to some other problem or perhaps frightened in the dream. I also gamble or play any other games at night, if i am not able to sleep.  Smiley

I think this is a sensitive matter and should not be ignored. OP should not play gamble if her kid is around.
Also he should take her to doctor to check if she is medically fit. Also if he promised he would not gamble again, he should remain firm to it.
