4221  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Yobit pump and dump announcement. on: April 16, 2020, 12:15:40 PM
What happened: Yobit pump and dump scam.

Today I received this email from yobit. They will pump a coin and dump it back to the customers. Don't know if there are any such exchanges who pump coins through the announcement. Will yobit ever change their scamming behavior?

I've heard this news on their media channel and actually I ignore this one since I know how shady they are and how far this things could go, People must be more careful on this since for sure they will caught us when we are expecting to much and trap us when they got enough from the people who believes on their fake pumps.

It looks like there will be a change in leadership sa DOH.

Senators seek Duque's resignation for 'failure of leadership' amid COVID-19 crisis

They cited the following reasons:
  • Failure of Leadership
  • Negligence
  • Lack of Foresight
  • Inefficiency

Though I think nag-resign na dapat siya nung pumutok ang Dengvaxia, I'm not sure if this is the right time for this move. I would have preferred na after na ng crisis saka panagutin ang lahat ng may pagkukulang kasi baka maapektuhan lalo ang implementation ng policies to fight COVID-19 but these lawmakers probably have seen enough.

4224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 15, 2020, 11:55:39 PM
Good recommendations but gamblers like me who sometimes crossed the line will forget some of the advice and guidelines listed there, gamblers are emotional when gambling they throw every reasoning if they see the opportunity that they have a chance to win, this is one of my regrets I sometimes lose control.
Yeah those gpambkers who lose the control and spend all their income into kind of game and later on they regret it so they should not do this but instead of it we should prefer to safe our money and spend limited Amount the other thing which matter in online gambling is safe and trust worthy website if you will get safe site you will feel safe and will be able to get high profit.

Regrets doesn't come first it's always behind so even though their are bad stories given still their are others who choose to get broke since all of this are decision to the person who gamble, It's really easy to tell that we should do a moderate gambling but if we are on their shoes and losing frequently for sure you will bet more and try to get what you lose when you play.
4225  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: April 15, 2020, 10:59:20 PM
There are specific websites for TOR gambling as well that you can play that are not really "legally binding" places but that makes it quite illegal and quite dangerous to play on those places too. They do not care about your IP, they do not care about your KYC, they do not care about basically any law at all because they are deep web and they think they are above the law or at least outside of law on what they do, we are talking about a system where people sell drugs and there are actually killer for hire in those places so gambling becomes like a very mild thing for that place, yet if they just take your money and leave, there is nothing you can do about it neither since nobody even knows who they are in the end. Which is why I still think that with all the advantages of them, the disadvantages are higher.
If it is so illegal in your nation to gamble that you are even scared to gamble with VPN on a crypto casino, maybe you shouldn't gamble at all? I mean I wouldn't prefer to tell someone who is here on bitcointalk that wants to gamble one way or another to gamble to just go away and not gamble, that is a very bad thing to say however there is a level of being afraid that is just way too much to continue.

I personally live in a nation that doesn't allow online gambling yet I still manage to gamble with VPN and also crypto gambling, that way it is enough layers that nobody would catch me or would know I gambled as long as I do not share that information with anyone and nobody checks what I am doing, as long as I am the only one who knows it, who would figure it out in any way?

I don't think there's an issue regarding on using a VPN for accessing some gambling sites since for the past 5 years of using it I encounter no issue at all, maybe those people who got an issue is those people who abuse and do multiple accounts for cheating the referral and the contest of certain sites. But if users can't take the risk using any IP changer methods then maybe they should stick on the sites which not prohibit their country to gamble.
4226  Other / Off-topic / Re: Paying whatever you can salvage to blow my head off cause life's a bitch. on: April 15, 2020, 01:43:26 PM
Thanks to all of your replies. I'm still really depressed but I'm no longer suicidal. Just trying to sleep it off at this point. Life Has gotten out of control lately and this is the worst depression I've had in years. I'm not sure what to do in order to fix myself at this point but I'm ok for now partially thanks to your supportive and helpful comments.

You're just over thinking to much on everything and don't think negativity on your life see the positive instead and if your married see the face of your wife and mesmerized the day you've meet aswell imagine those things what you achieve on your life.

Suicidal is just a feeling don't let your worries eat you remember there are persons who need us and stay alive for them.
4227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 15, 2020, 11:49:07 AM
I totally agree. There could be high profile NBA athletes who are helping since the outbreak, but they chose to remain outside of the limelight. The only player that what vocal was Gobert, which obviously the first case we have in the league that's why he goes to Twitter and announces that he had donated to the cause. And I'm sure that there are a lot, from NBA management to players who are donating money to fight against this pandemic.

I haven't heard anything from Michael Jordan or Larry Bird, these guys are the main character here even though they already retired they have some huge amount of money with them. I guess they're the ones who don't need to mention their good deeds in this midst of the pandemic.

On other calamities like hurricane Florence Michael Jordan donates $2m dollars for relief operation article is here: https://www.espn.com.sg/nba/story/_/id/24724238/michael-jordan-donating-2-million-hurricane-florence-relief

For sure jordan acts the same at this time of pandemic maybe silently  but who knows maybe in next following days it will be posted on media outlets.

As well great gesture for Jeremy Lin to pledge $1m for fighting the Corona virus and for sure the other players will do their share to help and increase the awareness about the current scenario.

4228  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: TPT - Toilet Paper Token Listed sa Yobit ano opinyon nyo dito. on: April 15, 2020, 10:36:59 AM

4231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will do better in this Economic Crisis ??? BITCOIN or GOLD ??? on: April 13, 2020, 11:47:26 AM
Both are great investment, one brings faster returns than the other, so is the risk involved, but from the way things are going generally and the future uncertainties, I would invest in both, 50-50, after all, it is not good to lay our eggs in one basket, with Gold your investment is safe, btc brings with it adrenaline  Cheesy
This way, anyone that performs well I still won't miss out on it.

If you can take the risk by bitcoins for now then maybe you are in good selection but if you are just hype by those theories or certainly bring by fudster then you are in wrong direction since by now the volatility of bitcoins is unpredictable sometimes it goes up and it goes down, might you will get crazy when 1 day you saw the price got drop badly since for now the economy is struggling and bitcoins is affected on it.

That's why for now I go for gold since this is the safest commodity where we can safely store our money since the price is in stable shape.
4232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: April 13, 2020, 10:38:50 AM
I have heard and read from some friends and in this forum about gambling site investing and the review are divided.

Some says they failed why others said it is profiting but the true question is whats the real thing?

now having this from OP i thing we can have some highlights and may encourage me and others to invest in Gambling.
For those people who do have doubts on investing on gambling site house itself then this is the perfect time for them to follow up this thread.Perfect example
when it comes to the amount invested which isnt really that big like 1BTC+ above since not all people are capable or holding such amount... The ideal amount is on what OP's been doing.
Lets see on how this one would go for long run aspect and it can really prove out and judge for yourself if its really worth to risk on.

The op experimental investment is really helping a lot for those people who are at the edge of investing at gambling sites but doubting since there are fakes running around and good thing we have a good site here as example and lets further wait for the result coming since for sure every ROI counts for people following this thread here.
4233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: April 12, 2020, 11:37:22 PM
~ Well for slots and or even dice you can't build a strategy for that so for this we cannot build a dream to gain some money on this option that's why if we want to follow the foot steps of those who early gain some richest for their gambling passion then we must follow them on what games they play and study on how they do it to learn from their style of gameplay.

I've been doing just that in the past until I realized that you actually can't learn much from those people. Most of them, if not all of them, were very lucky once or twice, or even several times(which is extremely unlikely but still can happen among billions of people). Not only they can't teach others how to win, but they fail to remain winners themselves in many cases.

I strongly believe if you like things there's a way to achieve your goals although it will take years of courage and effort to see a result but if you have low patience but still love to play or get involve in gambling then best to create a business inline with it then provably you can create your own richest with the help of other gamblers around.
4234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: April 12, 2020, 02:24:04 PM
Everyone is telling that bitcoin is going to 3K. Every news and notifications points that the trend is going towards 3K.
Bitmex CEO is twitting he believes bitcoin could go even as low as 2100, so would it be better to sell my bitcoin now and buy for 50% cheaper?
Seems like everybody are trying their best to decrease the price, it might be better to move with the herd?

Do you even believe on them? remember they are businessman and not a predictor so might they release that tweet just to upset people and possibly dump the price so that they can buy at the lower cost, remember we are heading at halving and its nearly happening so expect more fuds comes just to confuse people for their personal gain.

But if you want to secure sell it now and see on what happen in future.
4235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: April 12, 2020, 12:40:51 PM
I think it's very stupid to dream of financial freedom by gambling! It is a very risky activity, where people lose their money more often than they earn it!
It's better to succeed in some other business...
And leave the gambling for fun! Wink

I think all of us had this idea about achieving financial freedom through gambling in the very beginning of our gambling career. But then, the more you gamble the more you realize that there are only two options: you can gamble for fun, making very small bets, never risking more than you can easily afford to lose, or you can try to earn big money, making high bets, and risking practically everything you have. And most of us grow up, so to speak, and choose the first option. A grown person will not make stupid moves like risking everything. But some of us don't grow up and keep living in a Peter Pan world, where gambling can make you rich. That would be funny if it weren't so sad.

Although majority of people got broke on gambling but still we cannot deny the fact that there are some sane gambler earn their richest on poker here try to check this site https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.casino.org/blog/10-richest-poker-players/amp/ and you will see people earning their richest by playing poker using their own strategies.

Poker is a strategic game where you have to follow certain rules. And if you have mathematical thinking, then you can well start making money! The same is true for sports betting...
But this is not the only gambling! Wink For example, in slots you can not build a strategy... And they can not be a permanent income...

Well for slots and or even dice you can't build a strategy for that so for this we cannot build a dream to gain some money on this option that's why if we want to follow the foot steps of those who early gain some richest for their gambling passion then we must follow them on what games they play and study on how they do it to learn from their style of gameplay.

What Covid-19 has done to PH sports

Poor Philippine Basketball Association. Already deprived of what could’ve been a grand celebration of its 45th anniversary, leading to a bigger Golden Year five years from now, it looks like the country and Asia’s oldest pro league has been forced to a two-conference format.

https://www.manilatimes.net/2020/04/12/sports/columnists-sports/what-covid-19-has-done-to-ph-sports/712714/

The adjustment is necessary as Philippines right now is still under lock down, people are in luzon are under enhanced community quarantine, and that's where the capital of Philippine businesses, so it's just right that PBA has to plan its future.

If NBA might cancel their season, PBA is certainly gonna adjust too, and we don't know what would happen in the future yet as the covid-19 is still actively destroying our lives.

The case in philippines is not controlled yet and the cases is increasing everyday so for this the PBA management should look up for this as a ground to cancel the season since the Covid-19 is not a joke and continuing season is bit suicide for the entire team since they might spread out the disease if one of them got infected.

I love PBA but hopefully they matter the health now rather than business.
4237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Central Bank Admits It Can’t Ban Bitcoin on: April 12, 2020, 10:28:36 AM
The Director of the Bank of Russia’s legal department has admitted that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies cannot realistically ever be banned in the country.

Although cryptocurrencies are not exactly legal in Russia, it seems like they won’t ever be banned, either. That’s the latest news from the Russian government. Although Russia has a love hate relationship with crypto and bitcoin, what do you think about this admission? I think personally no bank can control it, but they don't admit it.

What do you think about this? If you want to read the full article, you can click on the link below

https://beincrypto.com/russian-central-bank-admits-it-cant-ban-bitcoin/
at least now government are starting to accept the reality that they cannot Banned totally the use and circulation of cryptocurrency.
and this is a win statement to all of us specially Russian that has experiencing hard using of crypto.
we are lucky here in my country that we have light treatment from the government about crypto so we can just use and accumulate without any problem as long as we are using KYC for our exchange wallets.

This is a confidence booster not only for Russians but also for people around the world who's using bitcoin and crypto and gladly they release this statements since it can create hype for people who still doubting to look after using bitcoin and cryptocurrencies for their investments.

And also this can give a good reflection to the government since the same as you I didn't get any hassle for accumulating bitcoins since I'm confident to use our local wallet provider since its regulated well by our government.
4238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: April 11, 2020, 02:48:37 PM
This year there are many factories have reduced their production number, as many workers were laid off for a while until the condition getting better. This makes people phurchasing power decrease, most of investors sell their asset now because the price will continue to drop for long time. Recession for the community is certainly a disaster, bitcoin price will keep drop during the recession but  this condition can be an opportunity for those who want to start or want to continue to develop investment assets, but  dont expect immediate return. Because the recession will happen in long term.  It could be that the assets or bitcoin that we bought during a recession will continue to decline in value. But for long term holder, this is good oportunity.

The only running here on our country is the company who offers essential goods but the other are totally close down and its really hard for our economy to get back in shape and for sure this will take long years to recover. But actually what good thing is happening right now is we see the price of bitcoin fighting up so meaning this is a good sign for bitcoins to rise up even if it suffer from major dump due to the economic recession happened this year.

And its really a good time for long term holder to avail cheap bitcoins since when the pandemic ends and all lockdowns will be lifted for sure we can see a good pumps.
4239  Economy / Securities / Re: MintDice.com – Casino Bitcoin Investment - How To Earn Bitcoin Interest Online on: April 11, 2020, 01:20:39 PM
We provide some statistics that you can find under the account page:
https://mintdice.com/account/investment/overview

If our gambling volume increases, we'll probably create a secondary spin off thread that will track these statistics over time.

Our commission may be on the higher side but it's necessary to be able to compete efficiently in the market today. Many websites have closed their investment all together for this very reason. We'd like to keep it open to stay attractive to as many types of users as possible.
hope this plague will make your users grow...
I see more and more gambling sites appearing today, this proves that this outbreak brings blessings to online gambling sites especially casinos and online poker.

Many people grab to opportunity to create a online business especially on gambling scene these days since this is a perfect time to introduce it to the people while they are at house bored and want to find a source of enjoyment.

And I really hope to this pandemic ends so that we can go back and live our live back to normal and enjoy physical things.
4240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 11, 2020, 12:08:33 PM
Unpopular opinion here... I don't think the casinos should pay the employees during the shutdown.

Casinos pay employees to work, if they're not working why should they get paid? Casinos and most jobs don't care about the livelihoods of their employers, their main purpose is obviously to make money. They clearly won't be making money if they're not even open. Sure, they could continue paying their employees now and go bankrupt off the back of it. Or they could just not pay them and let the government step up to protect its tax payers.

An employer-employee relationship shouldn't mean you should suddenly start paying people to do nothing when shit hits the fan. If these people don't have their own savings then that's on them.

But if they don't show care to their employees, no workers will be local to them. If they only want an employer-employee relationship, workers won't bother to stay long in that kind of business. They also need to feel the care of their company in an emergency situation. Business is nothing if it's not for their workers. They should appreciate their work.

Plvbob0070 I totally agree with you!!! My younger sister works in casino, she is on holiday more than a month,
casino where she works is closed when pandemic started. Owner of casino is still pays them, and told them to
not worry about paycheck and their jobs, when they start working again owners expect all of them to come back
and work! That is fair! Now in time of crisis is not very nice when owners show irresponsibility towards their workers.
If someone throw me on the street now, I wouldn't go back there! People would find better job they can have respect, in good and bad times.

It's fair in the time of crisis but although employers is not oblige to pay their employers since on the other hand they are affected to but in the name of humanity for sure they can cover since they are rich and can able to support the one who make them rich in time of crisis and luckily your sister got a good employer since the other are struggling since they didn't get any support just what plvbob given on his thread.
