PICK : Pelicans -1.5
Congrats stadus. You did it again.
Sorry I am hard headed again for not following you.  Grin

1/3 for me but it was at parlay so I still lose everything.
Pelicans really need that win, thankfully they did take 1 from the Heat.
Hawks also losing against the Wizards at Bradley Beal's monster game.

Now watching Lakers vs Bucks. Giannis already aggressive at the start.
4222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Blockchain in Hollywood Movies on: March 07, 2020, 02:26:14 AM

I'm more interested in stuff that'll emerge from stories that originate from the scene itself rather than having it glued to the usual dross. If the full truth ever emerges about Silk Road that would make for a fascinating flick.

Last time was just a documentary encircling about silk road, bitcoin and politics.
Something like a movie but base on true story will be better.

@OP- I watched a lot of films too and heard some of cryptocurrency and bitcoin on their discussion. If Im not mistaken some part on the Marvels Avenger series it was also noted. I'm not sure which one it is. But only an insertion on such discussion they are having. Anyway will search a lot I know, there are more that we missed aside from your list.
The best way is to put subtitles in it.
I have been watching some of the Marvel again but now I input a subtitle just to not miss some words that will come out of their mouth.  Grin
It is also easier to catch up.
English accents are also difficult to understand most of the time. They are really good at using their language.
4223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 06, 2020, 04:28:57 PM

But this game is fun to watch, either Lakers or Bucks, both are good picks as they are even now.
Miami Heat were able to stop the Greek Freak , let's see if the Lakers can, betting on the home team here, Lebron is underestimated.

Both are in their healthy roster so yes, it might really be a good fight.
I might bet later on but just for a single bet. Just for fun. To keep myself excited from watching the game.
But I am sure I will be with Bucks here.

Although last time was Bucks (homecourt) win, this time might really be different.
It could be a revenge for Lakers. My beers are already cold for this match.  Wink
4224  Economy / Economics / Re: Unfair aspects of KYC. But KYP is here on: March 06, 2020, 02:58:28 PM
KYP does not solve the issue of companies being careless with the data we provide them.

What consumers need is a transparent way of how companies treat our data, or eat least penalties severe enough for the companies in order for them to get scared should our data get leaked, sold or misused in any way or form. Provider details are usually seen on their whois, and could be followed-up on a trip to the government agencies responsible for registering them--that is if legal action is needed or whatnot.

Knowing the faces of those who run the show does not provide any guarantee that our data will not be compromised.

This explanations is like the shallow of all. Some are really deep that I could not understand it anymore.
Well, thank you for that.

First time I heard about KYP and I am still curious about how far it could go.
KYC though is something which is really scary for most of us users here specially if we are leaving our currencies in exchanges.
This is also why there are a lot of members here who always tell to not leave it for a long time in exchanges specially those who are registered to them with all the information.

Transparency and privacy. Could this two be married? I don't think so.
They cannot show how the privacy is being done. That is why it is private.
But if explained in a way that would only be understood by those who studied it like programming then not much people would care.
So how?
4225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin Could Be The Key To World Peace on: March 06, 2020, 01:50:08 PM
We should always consider the first thing that may happen.
World peace?
With how people react with every movement, even the good ones? They will find holes to make it look bad even for the purpose of humanity.

It will not happen.
I do believe in bitcoin but I don't want to go that far into thinking it can create world peace.
People always want power, money and freedom. Bitcoin don't have that characteristic.
Let us be real here. Even if one country tries to make it as their currency, that doesn't even mean there will be peace in that country.

Maybe if there will be only 1 human being left, yes, that is world peace.
4226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 06, 2020, 09:59:38 AM
That's a lot of games for later.
10 games is on the list. Wow! It includes a chance of NBA Finals scene. (maybe) Lakers vs Bucks.

Atlanta Hawks 2.21
Miami Heat  2.03
Dallas Mavericks -6.5 @1.76

Odds = 7.90

It is difficult to predict the Lakers against the Bucks. I don't want to try.

4227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season question on: March 06, 2020, 05:56:39 AM
Yes, it did happen before and can still happen now.
They have their own market strategist. If it will be successful then a big pump could happen that will increase its value.
That still depends on the project of one coin.
Most of them now are like copies of the old ones which are unsuccessful.
If they could create something that is unique then chances are investors buying it and could soar the price.

But, how will you know which is better and which is just created by a hype? Requires a lot of study and eye sore reading whitepapers and team management.
4228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 06, 2020, 02:40:06 AM
May I know on what sports betting site did you see that kind of side bet?

The one that's in my signature - Sportsbet.io
They have a decent selection of player prop bets you can choose from.

I am also one of the guys who didn't notice that. Thank you for pointing that out.
Being focused on just team winning or losing and not realizing there are also bet for players stats.
After watching "Uncut Gems" I did realize that.
How come there is so much bet for just one player? (Kevin Garnett)

I can easily see it now under Popular tab or line.

4229  Economy / Speculation / Re: How does price action really works? Traders are predicts? on: March 05, 2020, 02:28:33 PM
More like a dejavu?  Grin

Something like it happened before and then it is still happening every year but with just in a different amount.
It will still be a difficult task to make.

I do believe some analysis are being lucky, some of them are so much in luck that almost every prediction comes true. Some make fake assumptions telling people they predicted it although it was just edited date and time.
There is just no accuracy anywhere.
The price will keep on moving wildly until somewhere in the future.
4230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 05, 2020, 12:51:55 PM
3/4 is not a bad sign though. I think I am getting there.

Did you make an individual bet on your parlay? If you do, you are still up despite your parlay loss, anyway, congrats mate, you got 3 of 4, it's not an easy job. Just an advance preview of the next games, we only have 4 games and I only see one interesting match up, the Clippers vs Rockets.
No, it is a multi bet so I lose everything at the last game.  Cry

Just 4 games huh.
There is one good thing though. Curry is back. Be careful with what you are betting at.  Grin

My Pick:
76ers +5.5
Warriors no handicap.

6.55 odds.

A welcome bet for Steph. He might heat up early missing the homecourt game.
4231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Govt. Lifts ban on Cryptocurrency on: March 05, 2020, 08:54:34 AM
It is a good day for them.
I don't really have much of the details into why they lift the ban.
I want to know but with just a little statement though. I don't want long reads which almost looked like a book.  Grin

Computer engineers. If we go through how much people there who want to be one then it will be difficult to count them.
The idea of just lifting the ban of bitcoin will mean something else to them. Chances, opportunities and more jobs to be offered which they all need.
4232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 05, 2020, 05:14:50 AM
Boston Celtics win 112-106
Oklahoma City Thunder win 114-107
Grizzlies win 118-79

Just one more. Please Pelicans. Just give me this win. To equal all my loss.  Grin

Oh, man! The game is headed for OT, I really wish you'd win this... This is the sort of game you'd wish you had taken the slightest handicap available "New Orleans Pelicans no handicap (I'll take my chances)"

GL Mate!

Ahhh! crap!!!
It was a close game. My heart is still pumping wildly until now.

Luka was a monster with a triple double stats. 30pts 17reb 10assts.
A wild game indeed.
I enjoyed it so much but I will be more happier if I had perfected it all.
Yeah! I should've put a little handicap in there.

Next game please.

That was very unfortunate, Its not Reid's day today, Pelicans loss in OT so do his parlay bet.

3/4 is not a bad sign though. I think I am getting there.
4233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 05, 2020, 03:55:37 AM

Boston Celtics -3.5
Oklahoma City Thunder -6.5
Memphis Grizzlies no handicap
New Orleans Pelicans no handicap (I'll take my chances)

24.47 total odds. Hmm. Please give me a little luck guys.  Wink

4234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Rent A Car With Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2020, 03:29:57 AM
First problem is looking for it something that accepts crypto currencies.
I don't want to be stressed out just for that reason if there is another option that will be easier.

I support crypto but I also want to get real into not thinking too much.
I am lazy dude, just want to relax with every place that I will go. Who doesn't?
So, I would still prefer the easy way. Go to a car rental company and pay how it is supposed to be paid. If they have the other option for bitcoin then why not. As long as it is also a win for me.  Cheesy
4235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 04, 2020, 03:23:51 PM
Boston Celtics -3.5
Oklahoma City Thunder -6.5
Memphis Grizzlies no handicap
New Orleans Pelicans no handicap (I'll take my chances)

24.47 total odds. Hmm. Please give me a little luck guys.  Wink

I like your picks except for the Celtics, I wouldn't trust them against Cavaliers for tomorrow's game, for what it's worth Tatum is still out, Jaylen Brown injured, Kemba would be rested, Hayward and there's also a huge chance of Marcus Smart getting suspended, leaving Theis has the only regular starter, the rotation is quite to heavy to be overlooked in my opinion. The line has also by the way reduced -1.5 still in favor of the Celtics, though.

Here's also a tweet from another source

Thanks man!

Should I now sign up to twitter for those kind of updates?
I mean, I have really no idea about that.
I looked at the injury report and it just says Walker is the only one out with injury so it means they still have a good chance to win.
Anyway, I could still change for now.
I just piled up my bets just to not forget it.

Again thank you. Merited for saving me a few dollars.  Cheesy
4236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 04, 2020, 01:19:41 PM

Can I share my pick also? My pick would be the Bucks to win against the Pacers, that's -11 but it's okay, I believe they will have a big bounce back win that they will win at least 10 points or more, or at least they'll cover that spread.

Shoot.

Everything you can. Who knows? You might become the next lucky guy here.  Grin

Boston Celtics -3.5
Oklahoma City Thunder -6.5
Memphis Grizzlies no handicap
New Orleans Pelicans no handicap (I'll take my chances)

4237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Blockchain in Hollywood Movies on: March 04, 2020, 11:41:55 AM
Thanks for the list I don't even noticed that bitcoin was mentioned on Ant-Man and the Wasp I might rewatch the whole movie, Lol. I have seen several TV series too either mentioning bitcoin or bitcoin logo is shown if I am not mistaken it is "Money Heist". Bitcoin is really getting some exposure with this TV series and movies it is good for bitcoin to get free promotion.

Actually it was just "cryptocurrency" word which was said in Ant-Man and the Wasp. It was just for a moment and was said once in the script of Sonny Burch (Walton Goggins in real life).
It might be short but it made repeat the whole movie.  Grin It was lined among AI and nanotechnology.

TV series though. I hate watching them. Once I did, I start getting hooked by it until I finish it. Like GOT, TWD and more.
I hate waiting for one more year for the continuation. I want something that can be finished in jut 2 hours or 3. Depends.
4238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 04, 2020, 10:14:37 AM

And here is a little more for me  Tongue

I've got also got my winning streak going currently at 8
Oh God!
I hope I am you.  Grin I really envy you man for being so lucky.

I would get back tomorrow. I kind of late this time because of work.
I will try  making my bets as early as I could then just change it if ever you people will also have your deals earlier than mine.  Grin
Congratulations man.

This thread now has become the home of winners, I could not take my eyes off this thread, you guys are amazing, you are giving winning bets here.
Looking forward for the next pick, @Harkorede, I promise, I won't fade you for now.  Grin
Yes they are. No doubt.
Do you have some kind of lucky stone or something which could be bought somewhere.  Cheesy
4239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy on Friday and Sell on Monday on: March 04, 2020, 06:05:40 AM

Actually I was in plan to make use of this kind of short-term (within a week) trend to trade bitcoins to gain few dollars. But suddenly market reacted differently due to most probably Corona virus. But, I made use of the recent down fall of bitcoin market by buying some at $8500 levels. Still, I will not give up as I will keep on looking for studying the trend so that I could make some short-term trading even I am a true believer of long-term holding.

It did not come from that coronavirus trend.
It is the volatility of bitcoin that made it move.

We should stop from making excuses using the viral thing that is happening in Twitter or in other social medias.
It ain't because of that.
Bitcoin had been moving without any reason even from the start. Why should it have now?
4240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 04, 2020, 02:39:56 AM
Game : Lakers vs Sixers

We are all aware that the Sixers are still playing without Embiid and Simmons, but, it's the same squad that gives the Clippers a tough competition, therefore I would bet on them at the same place, this time against the Lakers.

PICK : SIXERS +13.5

Noted. I will take the same path but only 76ers +11.5.
Somehow they still have a fighting chance with this guys, Harris and Horford out there.

I am a little late with some games. Guess I will just be taking the live bets now.
The Nuggets vs Warriors games still have some good numbers to bet with. The lead is not that far yet.

What the!!!
GSW won the freaking game?! With 16 point lead.
Crap! I didn't have the greedy mode in me.
Who took the risk?
