4241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8 Ways to Make Money with Bitcoin in 2020 on: October 06, 2019, 03:07:45 PM
Earning bitcoins have never been easy unless you want to earn few satoshi.
sats and btc are both the same . no matter how small or big it is , earning them is still hard  .

Quote
There are some PTC sites paying in bitcoins for completing some small tasks
ptc is one of the oldest and hardest methods to earn  . id rather claim on faucets than on doing ptc because i have a bad experience of doing ptc before .

Quote
Most of the peoples who are been experts now have started with smaller amounts or even by collecting some faucets.
thats true , im also started on faucets before , not only me but i also saw users that have started the same  . some that have a capital have started as a buyer and not on faucet .
4242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser to launch a fully decentralized vpn on: October 06, 2019, 01:10:56 PM
We all know that the blockchain itself guaranties anonymity on its own and now Brave browser want's to integrate it into a vpn service creating a fully decentralized virtual private network which means you don't have to be worried about your data being sold by the vpn providers.

However we all know that everything has a good and bad side and one of its disadvantages is that it gives people who perform illegal activities more freedom. What do you think about it? Do you think it's worth it or not?

I'd rather use Tor, which can be done even from that browser. And with Tor, you have access to resources not found anywhere else, as people running Tor nodes can host their own content, away from the clear Internet. This content is free of censorship, because while its possible to detect Tor users, its impossible to determine what content is seen or provided by each particular Tor user.

Tor was designed for this specific purpose, while VPN is not. A VPN is not a privacy tool, and never was. You are using the wrong tool for the job, it might do it more or less, but not as good (think: hammering with a wrench).

And guess what? blockchain by itself DOES NOT guarantee anonymity. Quite the opposite, in fact, it preserves your traces and prevents you or anyone else from erasing/changing them later.

Imagine if your browser used a blockchain to keep track of your history. Goodbye to clear history, ad marketers rejoice!

Yes I was wondering what will happen with Brave's TOR feature if they got to implement it? I guess its either they will remove it or retain it since most users would prefer it over VPN and it could even result to public criticisms once they take out TOR altogether from Brave.

Now with their proposed decentralized crypto enhanced vpn system, I would assume they will integrate BAT token to it and  make the Brave ecosystem more easily to monetize and thus will encourage and stimulate the use of BAT token within the platform. This I think is a valid and unique use case I seldom see within the crypto industry.

thanks for that info guys , i didnt know that brave browser has a built in tor feature  but i did already knew that brave has an anonymity feature before but i didnt know that if what kind of anonimity was that  . now if they are going to introduced this new vpn technology , what would happen to tor ? makes no sense to me on why they still add it or on why wil remove it ( if ever ) because what i know is that tor is more better and more anonymous that vpn's
4243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of stable coins or no? on: October 06, 2019, 12:28:36 PM
On the other day, I think of the use of stable coins. I mean, when can we use Stable coins as an alternative fiat. You see when a bull run comes and everyone will start to sell their Bitcoins and some other coins into fiat the network will be congested.

So I think if we buy Stable coins with some stable volume, we will no longer need to worry about unable to sell our bitcoin into fiat.
Rather we only need to do this thing right? is this some acceptable alternative or no?

Stablecoin is used because the cryptocurrency market is still not regulated by many countries, even some banks do not want to be used as a means to transact crypto. If the government regulates the crypto market, I think that stablecoin will gradually be useless because investors will prefer to trade directly using fiat money or even through their banks.

but afaik stable coins were also a crypto and you said banks dont accept a crypto ? or unless they have make exemption for stable coins because its back by usd  . regulated or unregulated all users have the ability to convert thier crypto on the payment of thier choice because many platforms online are now offering trades from different range of currencies including cryptos  .  i think stable coins wont be built if they arent better than converting your crypto straight to fiat  . this is why many peeps are still using it
4244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eth is hacked ........ on: October 06, 2019, 09:40:21 AM

stop ? no its not possible to stop the process of hacking because its fast  . once the transaction is done , you cant do anything to cancel it  . all you can do is seeing your coins moving from the other wallet  . you said you download a virus altcoin ? hows that possible ? you cant download a coin but you mean to say wallet ? didnt you have any antivirus on your device  ?  the file will be detected and wont be installed if you have an anti virus or unless you insist to install it then that is already your fault  .
4245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you identify a transparent project team? on: October 06, 2019, 09:09:01 AM
i dont know how to identify legit projects  . what i only do is that i based my decision on the feedbacks that i saw  . i search the project here and online and ill check if it has a positive feedback and i compare it with how much negative feedback it have  .

i also look for the sponsored projects or the one that has an exclusive tag because i have a feeling that they are legit and thier budget is bigger than those unsponsored and common one's  but thats only my strategy  , you can follow it you want to  .
4246  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 06, 2019, 08:15:26 AM
What is wrong in spending Bitcoin? If you have expenses or utility bills to take care of, then I don't think that it will be a bad idea to cashout some of your coins. Once you are in a better position financially, you can buy back these coins. Now it is very easy to purchase and sell your coins, with so many exchanges and peer to peer platforms around.
Indeed, its up to the people themselves what to do with their bitcoin whatever they want. If you have no special reason to spend your bitcoin then just leave it and don't spend into insignificant things but if you do have some expenses to deal with then don't hesitate to use it. Bitcoin is not supposedly to use as an asset but remember it was also a currency and currency are meant to use for daily transaction.

that is if you dont have anything aside from a bitcoin on your wallet . if that is your case then you dont have a choice to use your bitcoin or else you will be blackout if you dont pay your electric bill but if you have some money left on your physical wallet , why dont you use that first before thinking of using your bitcoins  . that is more ideal because its not volatile and its not hassel to use that  . while on bitcoin its hassel because some billing provider dont accept it directly and you can also have the ability to earn more if you hodl it for now .
4247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price fluctuations - Opportunity or despair? on: October 06, 2019, 04:35:46 AM
this can be a golden opportunity to look for profits that you can get, from the rising and falling movements of cryptocurrency prices as they are suitable for use, follow the flow if falling prices can be bought and when prices rise you can sell it to attract profits.

that is if you are a an investor or trader where you have a capital ready on you and you are only waiting for the value to plunge before you attack   .

the current event is still great for you but what about those who are not in this business ? there are workers here such as bounty hunter and free lancers that are being paid by cryptocurrencies   .

now if the value is down their earnings will also be affected .  the dip is a despair for them
4248  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Viber, WhatsApp, skype, WeChat, Snapchat, IMO, Line not conduct ICO? on: October 06, 2019, 01:39:14 AM
I think it's all about the big risk of spoiling the reputation, now investors are investing less and less in ICO projects because every second one turns out to be a scam. That is, there is a high probability of failure.
ICO is meant for legit companies to raise money for their development and to give a token of the share so that the profit will be shared in the future, that is the real concept of the token market and there is nothing wrong in legit companies raising money with ICO, the problem comes when people who wanted to make a quick buck starts these fake projects and then do nothing and then disappears and we had many in the market.
If legit companies are interested to raise money through ICO i am happy to invest in them.

ico is for all . legit or not so legit can conduct an ico . didnt you notice that there are many failed ico's before ? and some of them have failed because they arent legit and no one will trust them . speaking of legitness , the subject of the op are purely legit companies   .  id happy to see them having thier own ico's because i have a feeling that you and many people will going to invest on them  . not only investors but bounty hunters like me are going to get happy if they will also issue a bounty and airdrops ,  and i wont hesitate or doubt to join them  .
4249  Economy / Economics / Re: IS 5G AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CRYPTO TO GO MAIN STREAM? on: October 06, 2019, 12:50:32 AM
2019 is going to an end but yet there are now 5g devices released on the market  .  there maybe one or two models that are speculated before but i dont hear any updates from them until today  . i guess 2020 next year will be thier official released  . 5G is helpful for those who cant afford a postpaid iinternet plans but want to experienced a really fast internet connection but i dont think that it can make a difference in terms of cryptos and blockchain  unless if the phones are sponsored by them  .
4250  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: October 06, 2019, 12:06:54 AM
in my country, those who earn less are most addicted gamblers,
its a simple logic . they are not happy with thier earning so they want to double thier money in the form of gambling but those who earn big are contented enough so they dont play gamble at all

Quote
every thing that they can get their hands on, they will simply put everything on the line, including online games.
its okay if those less earners will gamble only what they can afford  ( ex. putting 1/4 of thier money as bets ) so its not evasive at all whenever they loose  . atleast when they loose they still have some cash left on thier wallet .

Quote
we have a saying here, "One day Millionaire". If they won big, expect that it will be gone in just one day.
i have heard of that saying before . it goes like  " one day millionaire , one month sustainer "  the  saying applies mainly for workers that spends thier salary only a day or two due to debts/loans , and other expenses while thier salary is small  .  but not all who win will spend thier money in one day  .
4251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: I am thinking of Quitting my Interest in Crypto Currency on: October 05, 2019, 12:38:27 PM
I don't find it boring especially with the current volatility.
current volatility ? im i the only one that i cant feel it now ? the prices seems to be stable now in a low price point .  bieng stable means boring to some people but for me no i dont find it boring because i dont have all my focus on cryptos  .

i dont give my 100 percent on it  . being volatile on the other hand is thrilling and exciting to some , they dont find it boring if cryptos only work this way  . maybe that is also one of the reason on why op loose interest  .
4252  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ CatchaBTC.com 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Rainbot 💰 5% Referal 🔥Most Popular Bitcoin Game🔥 on: October 05, 2019, 09:53:56 AM
I entered and tested the site, there are a couple of things that can be refuted in terms of the site, firstly there may be discrepancy by the reputation of its user in the forum. I also find it strange that I see the same people online and the same percentages of the game, it seems not to say, but seems to have a lot of bot activity.

I saw it as well few days back and I took a screenshot of it as we can see below:

Surprisingly those usernames are still playing till now, so maybe you are right that they are internal bots to make the site looks having good traffic with many online players. Of course we have nothing to prove that they are bots but it is just very rare to see many players betting the same amount and the same payout all the time.

There are ppl that use Autobet with script  ( I see a lot of Noobs like you on bitcointalk , you should be playing Mario )
Test the platform . Then we talk Wink

Yeah I'm a noob here but luckily I'm smart enough to choose which site to test, which site to play with my money. I would not even talk with gambling site owner who act like under 15 years old kid who do not want to accept feedback especially negative feedback and who try to fool people by creating accounts to say something good about his own project.

then your not a noob then because noob means no knowledge on gambling and testing websites . you only made a mistake about your coments but who the heck is perfect in this world ?  none . we all make mistakes.  but i like your point , we can say what we want after we.test the site because that is important . feedback is important and the owner should accept whether its positive or negative , because that is to see if his sites needs improvements or not . creating alt accounts and comenting on your own thread is also bad and against the rules
4253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin / Altcoin poker rooms on: October 05, 2019, 09:23:01 AM
Yes, for some reasons crypto gambling is not so popular among poker players. Such a great site as SwCPoker has 110-140 players online, but rarely more than that. BetcoinPoker, which, from what I remember, had thousands players online 2 years ago, now barely has 50 (correct me if I'm wrong). I have an impression that 2 years ago there were more crypto poker sites than today, and there were more players on each site online than now. I think it's a temporary issue though. In the future gambling in general, and poker in particular, will be  inevitably turning  towards crytpo.

thats sad to hear . instead of increasing as the time grows , the are infact decreasing. why is that happening ? poker is popular game , we expect higher players than that or what if those players are trying other games for a while.  you knew poker is kidna old and other players could feel a little bore therfor they check out new kinds of gambling games.  didnt you notice that casino and gambling crypto site have a lot of registered players and 80 to 90% of them are also online.    sometimes lack of exposure or promotion failure is one of the reason why a site dont grow
4254  Economy / Economics / Re: K-POP Company owners are joining the train hype of Cryptocurrency on: October 05, 2019, 06:52:42 AM
.
yes for that I am sure a business in the entertainment industry will succeed using crypto.
many celebrity and artist that are on the entertainment industry have promoted and own a crypto business before but no i dont see any positive updates from them  .

they are silent , so how can you say that  crypto on this kind of industry will succeed ? only few maybe and on the kpop industry maybe  .

i havent heard any kpop that joins crypto aside from this . this could be the first one ?  let see how this goes.
4255  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why has not any government stopped Bitcoin? on: October 05, 2019, 04:33:40 AM
Governments have done enough to dissuade common people from using Bitcoin extensively. Being charged with operating unlicensed money changing businesses is a possibility if you engage in cash-bitcoin conversion.

Many of the government around the world would gladly stop bitcoin if they could. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency that's traded P2P. As everything happens on the internet and has no physical form and official value, there's nothing a government can do to stop it's transaction. They can make it difficult to buy bitcoin with cash, redeem bitcoin to cash and in some cases prohibit buying goods and services using bitcoin but they can never stop a P2P trade.

the op know that fact . infact he didnt say anything online but he only said that offline money changers because that are possible to ban by local governments .

@op , why they didnt stop bitcoin ? because bitcoin is unstoppable if its being used online and bitcoin is too useful , so why would they stop it ?

but actually there are those that already ban bitcoin  . they ban physical stores , exchangers and other crypto based business offline .
4256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Guaranteed Winnings In Sports Betting ! Make Tons Of Cash $$$ Betting Online on: October 05, 2019, 03:49:09 AM
***If You loose Money With Us, We Pay double Your stake***

Come on this would be impossible for you to do
No tout or a tipster can make promises like this

i havent see a tipster or tout that offer like that but i see a gambling website that offers that promotion  .

when you bet more and looser more , you can get exclusive cash backs and rakebacks from them plus tips , rains and other goodies.

the only thing that makes this thread fishy is its title  .   guaranteed winnings and make tons of cash ? thats obviuosly fishy imho.
4257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice - A small mistake emptied my wallet. on: October 05, 2019, 03:08:03 AM
aw . simillar thing happen to me .not just once or twice but i cant count the times that i made the same mistake .in your case i think its okay and acceptable because you are using automatic bets and you dont look on your balance oftenly but in my case its a manual bets.  i dont notice the zero so bets are bigger , i loose and i realize that i loose big so i tried to 2x my bets so that i can recover it but loose again until i got consecutive red strakes which makes me busted
4258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: October 04, 2019, 02:41:07 PM
Like I said before. All the money in this world can be considered dirty in one way or another, because it is redistributed from one person to another and not always fairly.

only if the money or crypto has already been circulated on the market but what if you will get them from thier root sources . for money or physical fiat ,thier root source are from the banks because they are the ones that print it  . on cryptos thier root source are from mining  .  you can make sure that you are the first holder of those funds so they are not considered dirty at all but using these funds to gamble is still not considered dirty as long as the gambling game or gambling site is 102% legal  .
4259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have a Dream... on: October 04, 2019, 01:51:08 PM
This thread will become historical in the future when your dreams come true.
based on what i read , the op's dream are already fullfiled . you didnt read carefull what he said right ? take a close look on the second pharagraph under the pic .  this kind of dreams or events are i think only normal and not to be consider as historical just because his dreams came . even before , lots of people are now expecting for this to happen .

the like of this thread is like that of Pizza thread.
the thread here is only postet this year compare to the pizza guy that happened a long time ago.  if we were on his situation i think we will do the same because we wont know what future holds on bitcoin .
4260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: October 04, 2019, 01:09:36 PM
Lottery is a unique game if you ask me. The rules are simple, just beat the odds and win the price.
when you said unique i agree with that . unique in terms of odds because the odds of lottery are too much and it makes it hard to win on this game  . the rules are simple but it isnt about beating odds , rules are meant on how to play the game (ex. getting a stab and filling the number of your choise )

Quote
You can play it several times but the cost will pile up and there is no guaranteed that you will win next time. But what encourages people to continue playing lottery is the great reward they will get. Imagining that your one-digit bet can make a million worth of money is what makes people love lottery.
lottery is not one digit bet but it consist of many numbers  , its 16 numbers at most ( standard lotto game )  . you cant say that the cost will pile up , what if your just lucky and you only spend a little but you won the jackpot .
