4241  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Electric bills for mining on: April 29, 2014, 03:13:03 PM
Bitcoin Mining = environmental disaster.  Don't get me wrong, I do it....but I wish there was a better way...

Cows farting to the atmosphere -- enviromental disaster - do you eat hamburgers? Tongue

Soon people will invite some more ECO way to mine I am sure.

I think miners are less harming ecosystem than any mechanical manufacture ...
4242  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to solo mining on LAN ??? on: April 29, 2014, 03:12:08 PM
I love the solo idea

What do you mean? What do you love in solo mining idea?

p2pool is a FUTURE of mining.

If you want to mine solo ... good luck.
But I don't say - for some "new" altcoins it is worth a try, as pools might became a scam ...

USE ONLY TRUSTED POOLS! With some payment history Smiley
4243  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cell Family plans on: April 29, 2014, 03:07:23 PM
ATT has a 2 for $130 unlimited talk and text and 10 gigs data.

Damn it isn't cheap Cheesy

I though that in Poland we have expensive plans ... but seems like not really Cheesy

So UK has got best prices? Or germany?

I was paying 35 pounds in UK for a 2000minutes 2000txts + unlimited Internet and they gave me a phone (LG Viewty - worth 350 pounds (I sold it in that price same day Cheesy - I do not like LG phones .. LG makes good microwaves!. )

And it was 2009! Smiley

4244  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Browser You Use on: April 29, 2014, 03:06:18 PM
To anyone who still uses IE, switch now!
New vulnerability found in every version.
http://www.techspot.com/news/56545-microsoft-acknowledges-zero-day-vulnerability-in-all-versions-of-internet-explorer.html

OMG Smiley IE is worst of the worsts.

There is NONE worst browser than IE.

NONE.

If you want to enter the door for a hacker and let him do whatever he want on your computer Smiley use IE Cheesy
But yes - I heard that IE is getting better and better.

Maybe one day I will switch Smiley

4246  Other / Off-topic / Re: Did Nostradamus Predict The Rise and Fall of Communism in Russia? on: April 29, 2014, 03:02:06 PM
Nostradamus is confirmed scammer Cheesy

that's for sure.

You must remember - that all his "predictions" are what PEOPLE started to believe those means!
Nostradamus wasn't really easy to understand...

That was why he is a scammer. He was clever enough to make those fools believe! But he suffered a lot before he was "well known"...

His history isn't a history of a hero - rather a thief, liar and a scam.
4247  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Root Key question on: April 29, 2014, 02:58:39 PM
I tested my Root Keys for my bitcoin wallet on my online computer. Is their anyway the keys can get stolen when I input them; like if I have a keylogger on my system?
In theory, yes.

IMHO, the best practice would be to never let these keys touch a networked computer (for any wallet that is going to contain a significant amount of coins), but instead restrict them only to a permanently offline, air-gapped machine.

but if you want to make a cold storage it will be quite harder to use your coins for buying stuff etc. Smiley

If you want JUST to hodl ... cold wallet would be good option.

So what is your purpose? Keep your coins safe of rotate them Smiley spend, earn, etc.

4250  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst Movies You Have Ever Watched on: April 29, 2014, 02:37:03 PM
I just reminded to myself a worst movie EVER. EVER.

And I ever forgot how bad it was - as it was so bad that my brain wasn't able to store a data for this title.

Batman & Robin

4251  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your view on cannabis? on: April 29, 2014, 02:30:38 PM
If we can have a drunk person vs a HIGH person drive a car thru an obstacle course I'm sure it would be interesting.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJJRVleE3_Q
http://kdvr.com/2012/05/17/web-poll-driving-high-vs-driving-drunk/

well indeed you can drive a car "better" after a spliff then after a bottle of wine.

But surely on both you shouldn't be driving a car. If anything will happen and they will make a drug tests or alc tests you are fuc&*#

AND if you are really unlucky and someone will die in an accident and you was "high" or "drunk"...
You are going to jail.

Is it worth a risk?? I am suuuure it is not.
4252  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best book you ever had? on: April 29, 2014, 01:47:14 PM
All the Harry Potter books. Smiley
Still not read/watched them. Is it better to read or watch?
They make more sense if you read them, however, I think that the movies are very good as well!
Ok I'm up for movies then.Books cost money and time no doubt.

Books cost money - true...
Well for standard people watching movies cost too.. I know that we are in the world of p2p torrents etc.
So maybe you heard about e-books? Or pdfs ? Cheesy
You can download a book for free too. Smiley

Just maybe it is quite harder to find a book than a movie Tongue but! Smiley Still - you can make it no cost.

But I must say I love to keep a book in my hands. Paper pages have something more inside than just "a book".
4253  Economy / Economics / Re: "Buy at the right time. Sell at the right time" on: April 29, 2014, 01:44:15 PM
Buy at the right time. Sell at the right time.

It's the truth of investing Bitcoin or Altcoins.

I guess you do not understand a meaning of OP.

Ot was more about - what IF ALL of us BUY and SELL at right time.

Wink

4256  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Giant Chinese 3D printer builds 10 houses in just 1 day o_O on: April 29, 2014, 10:17:06 AM
It is not that great. It is just simple shack. 2 walls, 2 wall windows and roof. It is improvement of course over cardboard box but who would like a house like that? Probably only the poorest of the poor.

Poorest of the poor?

Imagine how we can use it:

let say a building site - offices and staff's rooms could be done 3D printing instead of wasting a fuel and money Smiley

Second great idea : a 3d printed camp site near a sea site Smiley

Or - how to build a garage? Smiley 3d print it.
4257  Economy / Speculation / Re: is Bitcoin a wave or a particle? on: April 29, 2014, 10:13:44 AM
Very good question. If you zoom out on the chart, you see a very calm and consistent downwards sloping sine wave. But if you zoom in, you see a bunch of chaotic spikes which are all labeled as apparently being caused by some type of news or the other. How can this be a coincidence?

I suppose this is a reason why Bitcoin is hard to trade for a short term, much easier to gain profit when you hold longer Smiley

Bounties seems cool ... but

How I can prove that I did succeed to get CarpeCoin on a front page of Reddit?

And online games: what kind of games?

Were in the process of updating the OP.  Its a copy/paste of the old one and it hasn't been touched in a few weeks so give ua a little time to get it up to date.
