When does difficulty go down again?

we all gave up hoppin and took up mormonism.
but really yall shouldnt notice, we arent even a spec compared to the hash rate here. And the speed of blocks being found makes efficient hoping nearly impossible which is why most hoppers just use deepbit for backup
I tried to hop Deepbit but it's hardly profitable.

Yeah I think I'm done with Ix/I0coin. It's not worth it to cash out at these prices now and make maybe 6 or 7 BTC back. I'll check back next year.
Difficulty will drop quickly if miners leave i0coin (1 week interval?) so next week there's another round

[...] The price of Namecoin will go up like crazy after Merged Mining is implemented.
are you sure? from some point of view you can then mine namecoin for free When merged mining gets in place, big exchanges like MtGox will adopt Namecoin in their exchange. Speculators do the rest...

shouldn't price rise because of the lower supply of namecoins, which should speed up the mining? this will be slowed down however by the fact that you need to wait too long for the transactions to confirm how much blocks per day nowadays, btw? One of the common fallacies proven false is that price follows difficulty (related to supply). Price follows peoples desire for the currency more or less. one of the crazy forks retargets every 2016 blocks or after two weeks without retargeting. what about implementing that for namecoin?
Everyone would need to agree to adopting the change to the chain, which is hard at this point. there is a forced client upgrade coming, but too late to get into that I guess. There will be another needed for merged mining probably? But then, with merged mining this change probably is no longer needed. The price of Namecoin will go up like crazy after Merged Mining is implemented.

I think everyone should put all their hashing power into i0coin! What a great idea!
I think this is the first coin since Bitcoin that could become a big success. It's supported by a big part of the community and has no "scam" rating.

Would the internet and PCI-E 1x be fast enough for the calculations of cloud computing? What calculations could be done?

I'm now testing with CGminer and poclbm. Seems to be a big difference in stales.
Results in 15 minutes!
Update! CGMiner has 13% stales vs poclbm with 21% stales!
We have a winner!

This i0coins are F...... SHIT mined them in i0.bitparking.com in last 10 hours with 14 GH/s and got only around 100 coins 2.9 Ghash/s, 1500 coins.

What is difficult now?
1024... i think. Hmm, isn't there a 4x maximum increase? If there is, after 5-6000 blocks I think it can be between 64 and 256...

Hey guys, i just noticed that i made a "little" mistake on the GMT conversion, i tought that the launch time are in 15 min, not that i'm delayed 45 min lol, so at the end the launch time will be at 20:00 GMT (On 13 min from now), be prepared to the rush, i will be releasing the clients on 12 min from now! Again, i'm so sorry for this stupid delay D:

I don't think it's a joke. Just didn't happen at the time it was supposed to.
Check out the git, there's been enough work done towards this project to know it's not just a joke.....
The best jokes take shitloads of preparation
