4241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your favorite to win this year's Champions League ? on: April 18, 2019, 08:02:34 AM
After the recent results I will go for the outsiders.
I would gladly see a match between Tottenham and Ajax in the final and I hope that Ajax will be the winner of the Champions League. These guys deserves the title and a great career in football leagues that are very competitive.
4242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 18, 2019, 07:11:38 AM
Amazing performance from Harden once again.
Now Houston leads the series with 2-0. I believe that James Harden deserves a ring but there are teams like Bucks or GSW that Rockets are difficult to compete.
4243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 17, 2019, 09:01:31 PM
City 4:3 Tottenham. What a crazy match. Defence of both teams was a joke tonight. Spurs players showed tonight that they have big balls tonight. How many times in past they faiked in such big crucial games. Offcourse, VAR saved they asses tonight. But finally they reached big win.
Porto Liverpool. Porto started this game solid, but for Liverpool it was enough to create one dangerous attack, score a goal and solve everything in this pair. After Mane goal remaining time was more or less meaningless. Anyway, 6:1 result looks way too big IMO.
Spurs - Ajax semifinal. It means that we will see one of these teams in semifinal. I think nobody haven't predict this before the season.
And Liverpool - Barca will be something amazing too.

I lost my faith in Guardiola tonight and I think that he has forgotten how to manage a team or he doesn't care any more. He didn't put more forwards in the squad when the team were behind. It was like he left the team in auto pilot.
4244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 17, 2019, 07:12:50 PM
City vs Tottenham already 1-2 at 11'.
The Spurs seems that they won't resign from the qualification dream and they have already made a huge step towards their goal.
The match will be very interesting till the end.
4245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can any analysis predict btc price for the next month? on: April 17, 2019, 06:39:10 PM
Some can make accurate predictions but they're just mere predictions . Nobody is 100% certain what the market will be in the future... not even the best market analyst.

When a person is only able to predict with certainty the market conditions of a month, but can not continue to predict with accuracy what will happen in the following months, it is most likely that his success was due more to a matter of good luck that of analytical talent, do not you think?

It may be but it may be not. If this happens for consecutive times then he probably does predictions based on his luck.
But there are sometimes unknown risks in the market that are not visible via the historical charts. Sometimes media provokes some market movements that a trader cannot predict.
4246  Economy / Speculation / Re: When you win does someone else have to lose. on: April 17, 2019, 06:28:28 PM
Whenever I trade and make a profit, does someone else lose?

For example, I've been watching an altcoin market for three years and knew that a certain currency always triples in value going from x to 3x in a couple of months. Having spare money avaliable I put some in to test the strategy and I'm close to my 3x at the moment.

My question is, whenever I trade and make a profit is there always going to be someone who's made a loss or is this an odd way of thinking? Could it be that these people are losing a small amount of money or that these people are buying a coin by going (I'll put 10% in that) so as to not really matter if it profits or. Loses as it generated a stable ish value.

Not necessarily.
Theoretically when you trade and you sell for example, someone else buys your coins in the price that you trade and you consider that this price is a high one (because you are selling).
But actually you don't know which is the price that the other trader has sold/bought so maybe a trade may be a win-win.
4247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 17, 2019, 02:12:29 PM
For tonight, here's what i think will happen :

City / Spurs 2-0 (not an easy game)
Porto / Liverpool 1-1

City's game is very difficult today. I think that your predictions are pretty much what I am going to bet, but I would wait to see 10' played in the game and then decide what to gamble.
4248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: April 17, 2019, 10:33:10 AM
I played about with Bitcoins and litecoins and Feathercoins back in 2013. These were the days when Bitcoin was pretty easy to obtain through online mining pools and faucets ect.  As time went by,  I lost interest in Crypto and kinda forgot about it until Bitcoin hit 19k in 2017 . By this time I had changed my computer and hard drives and along with it all my passwords and wallets and dat files,  to cut a long story short I searched all over for my old hardrives, ran recovery on one of the drives I had kept and found nothing I gave up searching and just got used to the fact that I had lost a lot of money.

Fast foward to 2019 we were cleaning out a cuboard and at the very back was a shoe box and in that shoebox were 3 hardrives one of which contained all my passwords, wallets and dat files for all my Bitcoins, Litecoin and Feathercoins. I may have lost out on when Bitcoin was at its best but I now have all the info I need. I have sold some of it and will hold the rest until Bitcoin goes up again and it will. The money I got from selling some of the bitcoin and litecoin even though not at its highest I basically got for doing nothing apart from online pool mining  and playing with faucets  back in 2013,  so im happy with it. Never give up if you have lost money on Cryptos and if you did what I did keep,  looking for that lost hardrive it will turn up eventully.  In 2019 it is so easy to buy and sell Bitcoions too and it was instant money from selling to transfering the moeny into paypal then into my bank account.  How things have changed for the better for cryotocoins Smiley

There is always an opportunity to get your funds back.
You just need to strive and be dedicated to your goal and you will totally recover your losses.
I haven't gotten too much for faucets but back in 2013 I think it was a good way of making money if you hold them in long term.
4249  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: April 17, 2019, 10:22:20 AM
Any person who suffered a loss in 2018 now wants one thing - for Bitcoin to grow as fast as possible, but it takes a lot of time, no doubt - this will happen, if not this year, then next, we have to be patient if we want to get our money back and make money on it. No one said it would be easy.

You can't get your money magically back.
You need to offer something to the society that it is going to improve their way of living. If we don't try ourselves for promoting mass adoption we will not make any penny of it.
4250  Economy / Economics / Re: The bulls are back, bitcoin on the way to $5k on: April 17, 2019, 10:12:20 AM
now we wait for the price of bitcoin to be above $ 5500. well, even though yesterday was a very good thing when the price of bitcoin rose to $ 5000, now people are waiting for a better development. well, this is not such a big thing, but it should be grateful. I'm sure the price of bitcoin will continue to rise until it reaches a very high price.

The next level is 5.5k and I think that if we manage to get to that level then the future will be very promising.
We seem to be above 5k solidly and investors show resistance in this price. I would be greateful if I will see a price of 8k till the end of 2019 and it will be more for sure during 2020.
4251  Economy / Economics / Re: More formal blockchain education needed in the Philippines on: April 17, 2019, 09:50:25 AM
While venues for blockchain education are available in the Philippines, formal blockchain education offers from educational institutions would make the country be at par with global blockchain development.

Read more here: https://www.unblock.news/news/more-formal-blockchain-education-needed-in-the-philippines

The people of Phillippines are leading in the community of cryptos.
I think that in general we need more education about the blockchain technologies in every country around the world and by that I don't mean only coding education. Every people should know how this technology works and what are the benefits of it.
4252  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: April 17, 2019, 09:41:33 AM
what we need to do is be patient, and if we have more courage, we use this bear market situation by increasing our investment assets. because the fluctuating crypto market also allows returning to call bulls to run. after that, we will get a big profit.

The market conditions are pretty well right now and there are signals for further improvement.
there is not any reason to be stressed out as the pattern right now shows that we are going to see more price increases in the cryptocurrency market in the future.
4253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto - Evidence Here on: April 17, 2019, 09:10:23 AM
Wow that such a great proof that he is Satoshi  Grin
We don't care who is Satoshi Nakamoto. It will not bring any value to us if he is. And If we wanted to be called Nakamoto then he should think of it when he first published Bitcoin WP.
4254  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to open Singapore fiat-to-crypto exchange in April on: April 17, 2019, 08:13:03 AM
We need fiat to crypto exchanges because right now it is very difficult to get into the cryptocurrency world.
The fact that concerns me is how much would be the fee of this exchange of value. If it is high (which I think it will) then it will be not so beneficial for bringing many people to crypto.
4255  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold & Silver are safe than bank deposits ?? on: April 17, 2019, 07:48:53 AM
Investing in gold and silver is as safe as to invest in bitcoin.
Banks have create a vicious cycle that it is full of debt and one day the debt bubble is going to blow. I hope that when this happens the bank deposits won't be affected, otherwise our society will have some serious economic problems.
4256  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks against the crypto on: April 17, 2019, 07:43:00 AM
This 2 things will work together in the future for sure, banks cant just disappear because of one asset created by unknown person with a cover name of satoshi nakamoto. If bitcoin become mainstream in the market bank can surely adjust to that situation and still overpower bitcoin

If these two systems will work together then you should forget the free and open ecosystem that blockchains provide right now.
A combination of the two is going to bring big regulation and we will not be able to enjoy the freedom that exists in all the projects and the transactions that can be done with them.
4257  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin (BTC) Hits 400 Million Transactions on: April 17, 2019, 07:40:54 AM
Considered the fact that we were in a bear market and we are in this transition to a more positive climate, this metric is extremely positive for future prospects.
I think that Lightning network has also helped a lot to increase the number of transactions in the blockchain and as people get more acquainted with the technology we can hit a larger number.
4258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: April 17, 2019, 07:11:15 AM
Buying every dip is easy to say, but difficult to identify the dip (for me at least!)

Every time the price of bitcoin drops I am afraid of the point that it is going to stop or it will be ongoing for a long time. Looking at charts and trying to make my TA sometimes prove me wrong!
4259  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: April 17, 2019, 07:00:22 AM
They doesn't show any interest in cryptocurrencies and this happens because the market cap has dropped significantly and they don't see it as an investment opportunity.
The most reactions are like making fun of me that I spend money and time for nothing and I keep on that again and again.
4260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 17, 2019, 06:56:21 AM
1000th race in F1 history wasn't very interesting. After great start Hamilton reached easy win. Again we saw team orders of Ferrari which didn't worked well for this team. Ferrari told Leclerc that he need to pass Vettel, but later when Leclerc was faster than Seb, Charles wasn't allowed to overtake him. It's great to see that Ricciardo finally reached finnish and got his first points.
Next GP after two weeks in Baku.

I think that we will see this problem at Ferrari many many times this year.
Leclerc is faster than Vettel in all the races till the start of the season but still he is said to let Seb pass him because he is the second driver in the team.
This tactic just drop the interest in watching the races.
