"Trading" is a Federal Reserve schill.

We are all capable of seeing the world burning down around us

Was that an ad hominem argument? Very convincing.

You really see flames around you?

People have been claiming fire for more than a century, after the end of the golden pattern. But we are still here, much better than our grandfathers.

But soooo much worse off than our fathers.. If your gen x or y ne ways.. The gov during the time of the baby boomers spent with out hesitation and took out loans with out thinking twice because they could be pasesd to us.. Now we are doing the same thing, how far can that can be kicked?

4246  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Selling bitcoins on localbitcoins and hst in canada on: June 04, 2014, 03:12:47 PM
Are you required to charge hst on top of your price if you are a frequent seller on lbc?

Hum.. you have to pay taxes on your gains.. increasing prices for hst is kind of a sham and makes no sense really... you're just chargning more to cover the fact you have to pay taxes.

4248  Other / Meta / Re: Coin police on forum - project? on: June 04, 2014, 01:29:04 PM
Hi everyone, i am new here

I tried to invest on same coin, but i am sad with actual situation (its very sad how people are trying to scamming investors only for BTC)

This is the biggest famous forum and i am thinking about something like "Coin police on forum"  with some adept professional developer (i am not prof. developer), who will be control (for example source code for new coin, if is all ok, if is not cloned/copied etc...) coin and after control will be published.

Developer can be donated from people or some biggest investors...

Here are a lot of people who starts new coins but is not qualified, another start only for BTC, etc....

What do you think?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say most of us believe in the REAL american idealogy and having police is completely against that idea..  Support and help one another.... don't give people power over you to "protect" you from some scary boogy man..

As it's been stated there are already lots of people on this forum that do this kind of work but to have an actual police force kind of idea would alinate those that don't want to join one and give the "coin police" the ability to falsely accuse enemies of thiers.

You need to think this deep my friend.. your enemies do.
4249  Economy / Economics / Re: Quantitative Easing on: June 04, 2014, 01:08:05 PM
QE is like you are a runner you've just fallen and busted both your legs and instead of taking time off, healing and improving you use a couple rods and tape to fix your legs so you can put weight on them again but are no where near capable of actually running like you use too.. oh you'll keep going.. for awhile...
4250  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think China will completely BAN bitcoin? on: June 04, 2014, 01:02:54 PM
China runs over their own people with tanks when they ask questions.. WHAT THE F do you think?

4252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Runoff Poll: "ubit" vs "centoshi". Which should be the rival to "bit"? on: June 04, 2014, 12:50:48 PM
It's mtb, milibtc and bits.. give up that is what it is now.
4253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Never sell, always Hodl. on: June 04, 2014, 12:41:49 PM
I would buy some gold with my bitcoins but I am not willing to take the risk of getting some tungsten with a layer of gold on the outside.

I would cash out into government money but why would I want to hold a currency that is on the hook for over $70 trillion in debt.

So...even if I did not want to hold, there is nothing else worthy of holding in its place.

speaking of that debt. Let's say they pay off their debt by printing 70 trillion dollars. With the current value of bitcoin, what would be the price of one bitcoin then?

There was approximately $1.28 trillion in circulation as of May 14, 2014, of which $1.23 trillion was in Federal Reserve notes.

So to answer my own question, if they printed all the debt and paid it off, the value of a dollar would decrease only ~70 times.

With the current value of bitcoin, one bitcoin would then costs $44660.

Why wouldn't they pay off all their national debt by just printing it? It actually seems pretty clever idea.

Money printing...?  Hitler tried that..  Just google it and you'll see why it won't work has never worked and will never work.  (by the by you are.. it's called QE)
4254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to $680. So obvious this is a pump. on: June 03, 2014, 08:23:02 PM
On the path to buy those 200 000 BTC to crash the market.. BTC would visit the moon...
4255  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC reach $50,000? on: June 03, 2014, 08:20:29 PM
When do you think BTC will reach $50,000?

If the Winklevoss twins are correct, BTC will reach $40,000 to $50,000 a piece. When do you think that will happen? I am still waiting on the ETFs for BTC to hit Wall Street. Then just about every single Joe Blow can invest in BTC through their 401(k). That would be interesting times.

Will any of you here become a millionaire if BTC hits $50,000 (of today's purchasing power)?

2017

Depends on what alt coins do, as of now, no.  I would be quite happy and quite wealthy though.
4256  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM BYUING! on: June 03, 2014, 08:19:33 PM
Hummm I am tempted too buy as well.. I already have a nice position I just want more.  I am thinking of going gold heavy at this point TBH.
4257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: And now a bank realizes bitcoin's potential finally!(citibank) on: June 03, 2014, 08:18:17 PM
Banks will never die, hopefully the return to what they were suppose to be..  A spot to safely store wealth.. Not a spot to lend out wealth created from debt.. Currently banks are an abomonation.
4258  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S1 and windows 8.1 on: June 03, 2014, 06:46:59 PM

4259  Economy / Speculation / Never sell, always Hodl. on: June 03, 2014, 03:11:55 PM
1 million people always buying, never selling always HODLing.

With a limited supply the price can only go one way over a period of time...

Always hodl.

I really believe only a few people understand how valuable something with a truly limited supply is... Nothing has ever existed like that before.. ever.
4260  Economy / Speculation / Re: This forum is full of future millionaires on: June 03, 2014, 02:54:58 PM
The only catch is, 10-20 years is a long time.

Its rly rly rly fcn long time in bitcoin world.

Hence the phrase HODL!!.. HODL men and women, HODL.  We live a lot longer than 10-20 years.  With any luck(i'm 28) I'll own a golf course by 38 due to my holdings in BTC.  I plan to never retire.. that's boring. Even if BTC utterly collapses and I go to plan B I'll go to a stress free job at 60 till I die.
