4241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ultimate Meme Coin is Here Sheep coin Launching soon on: May 14, 2023, 09:33:08 PM
Welcome onboard,  sheep coin,  the name sound so funny and uninteresting but then in cryptocurrency,  funny thing make the news just like dogecoin which was created as a joke that becomes a well-known project later on.

So let's see how this project develops to meet up with the demands and market competition as against just hype coming in from you in these comments,  and also I check the website, and I don't see anything like a chat room or forum where the user will share their created memes to get rewarded in sheep coin because that is what caught my attention.
4242  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational Parade on: May 14, 2023, 08:48:20 PM
do you think, a parade like this will be effective in reducing the level of gambling addiction?
I don't think so, owning to the fact that the world we live in today have completely changed, nowadays, people tend to embrace the more, the things tagged as bad by the government or other cooperate bodies..
I could remember when the government of my country banned banks from trading crypto, and also banned the citizens from carrying out crypto transactions, they even ordered banks to close any account that is suspected to be trading cryptocurrency.
When this ban was placed, this was when the citizens of my country embraced bitcoin and cryptocurrencies the more, with many new investors in crypto, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general becoming so popular in my country.

What am I saying in essence? Movement like this will be more of counter-productive if the aim is solely built around reducing the number of gambling addicts, this is because as long as people gamble, some will always end up addicted, simply because, most times, addicts don't even know they are addicts, or how they even became addicts.
One thing with citizens is that a government that lacks legitimacy in the eyes of the citizens will always make a mockery of itself when it atteattemptsfridge the right of the citizens most especially when the government want to stop what is beneficial to the financial well being of the citizens were the government have failed to grant any opportunities that could possibly help the citizens to come out of the total dependant on the government and for this regulations can only work when the individual involved is made to see the need to regulate a certain thing and help support and protect the citizen's interest.

Just like the Nigeria CBN vs Cryptocurrency,  why the policy failed os the CBN lack the legitimacy to place a ban on cryptocurrency without making any alternative available to the people,  so the citizens have no choice but to continue with their activities using other means but will keep them out of the radar of the government.
4243  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 14, 2023, 08:40:01 PM
Coming back to normal discussion about Rollbit if you are active on twitter they are now giving away $100 on different tweets like guess the slot , guess sports and others which is really impressive.Just want to share that with you all so if anyone is interested in these you can try it and have chance of winning the same.
Thank you for sharing this update,  I am not aware of the guessing contest on Rollbit social media,  and I did not follow them on Twitter before now but with the $100 giveaway from Rollbit, it will attract many players to actively participate in such promotion.

And if I may suggest,  I think having a free spin included in the giveaway it won't be a bad idea,  $100 giveaway + free spin will be a dope combination that will usher in the casino to more market through the activities of those applying for the contest prize.
4244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: May 14, 2023, 08:33:32 PM
We often intend to play little and gamble small, but unfortunately, that is often an illusion. If you like to gamble too much, you may end up betting larger amounts over time. The problem is also often that you no longer have the realization that you are gambling. You have a blur in your eyes and then you are only concerned with money. But gambling is not the way to stay safe, it would be better to stay away from it altogether.
Exactly,  not many have control over their gambling activities and that is why gambling is said to be a highly addictive activity it is better not to start at all than to want to attempt to gamble less which in most cases is not realistic unless for highly discipline players.

Excessive gambling is always motivated by the greed for making more money or chasing a loss,  but knowing the right time to take a break will help a whole lot and any gambler who is looking to avoid addictions must poses the discipline to know when to take a break and watch back to see what is going on as a result of his overall gambling activities.
4245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 14, 2023, 07:32:15 PM

This is completely new thing for me as Arsenal which was very strong contender for the title fix this match and sell out to Brighton because I never expect things like these in Premier League but if this happens then surely we need some investigation in this matter, but shameful act is now Arsenal is out of the competition and Manchester City is successfully defended their title with now going for the double or treble is on card for them because they are at their best for these successes.

After the end of first half I was expecting narrow win for the Gunners or draw, but suddenly we have few things which ruin this match shattered Arsenal fan's dream for the title shameful lost and surely embarrassing end of this season after amazing start.
Asernal has become unpredictable lately and the questions about the reputation of the club as accusations border on possible March fixing even though it is not clear how true that is,  but also what surprises me most is the fact that Arsenal started the season so well taking the lead from the beginning of this season up until now but lately, Arsenal lost the top position to Manchester city for the second time in this season and haven't lost this match which could have given arsenal some level of hope as to whether or not the club could reclaim the position.

But with the 3:0 result against Brithom, it's clear that the chance for Asernal to make any remarkable change to its current standing is dead already.
4246  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the difference between banks and big whales in crypto? on: May 14, 2023, 07:26:28 PM
The difference between the bank and the crypto whale is that, banks are centralized and operate on shared interest and banks controlled the entire banking decisions of how much they pay to depositors, but a crypto whale is an investor who holds a big bag of coins without control on the amount other shareholders received since the price of the coin determines the amount in interest to coin holders.

So bank centralization vs whale decentralized investment:

While banks controlled the total cash flow.

the whale is an individual investor with control over the cash flow since crypto is decentralised.
4247  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational Parade on: May 14, 2023, 07:20:20 PM
I don't think a parade like this would be useful in lowering gambling addiction because it's unclear from the context which kind of gambling the procession is alluding to!!!presuming it's tied to motorcycles. The parade may bring attention to the negative effects of gambling, but it is unlikely to deal with the causes of addiction or offer individuals who are battling with it effective support.comprehensive strategies involving education!! prevention, treatment, and support are needed to effectively combat gambling addiction. The government, health experts, and other stakeholders should put these measures into place at the local and national levels. It's critical to concentrate on early detection and intervention, prevention, and the provision of affordable and efficient treatment choices for individuals who require them.

I don't think the point of this protest/parade is to push people away from gambling right there and then, but to marinate them with info and good propaganda which may well lead them to not gamble anymore. It's always like this when it comes to proving your point and pushing for your cause. You can't do it all at once, there has to be some sort of comprehensive plan that will lead people into a series of information campaigns, which then will lead to them making their choice. This is not the way to go, the protest and the parade thereof, but it is a good step towards the goal which is to discourage people from gambling. Of course, intervention and care from the government must be done, but this is still a good thing. I don't see it doing anything wrong AT ALL.
Regardless of what our opinion on the view point is,  it is clear that the parade shows some form of promotions and aftermath results of the activities of stung slot players.

This parade also shows the level probability disadvantage of addicted slot players,  and how their lives turn out to be in the long run,  and also this may further promote gambling controls since there is already a show of what the aftermath effect of this will be on potential slot players and how it can ruin your life., it's important to note that this parade seems like a stage play with slot mentioned in it but gives a double-edged message as to what the parade promotes.
4248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 14, 2023, 06:48:53 PM
3.0 is a shameful defeat on Arsenal, really shameful, I never expected that a team as Brighton would beat a big Arsenal by such a huge margin, to the ton of 3 goals to nothing from Arsenal, super angry with this performance sincerely, I can't even raise my head up and be proud as an Arsenal fan, it's such a very bad time to be called an Arsenal fan, really really disappointed.

And also, a big congratulations to Manchester City, I think this is the best team to start supporting, with their victory against Everton, they have indeed secured the premier league title this season.
Just that I expected much from Arsenal in this match but then it turns out that they failed to make any attempt to salvage their already bad situation in the EPL and at that Manchester City now has a slide chance of winning the title in this season once again.

Many Arsenal fans are already speculating that the game was fixed,  I doubt the authenticity of that claim but then since the club already knows that they're out of the title in this season,  so selling the match to Briton may be current in this situation.
4249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: May 14, 2023, 06:42:12 PM
After the pandemic affected everything, every country that did not have its manufacturing or development set up is now struggling. Economically independent countries in Europe and the known superpower, like the US, are struggling. The problem was never the pandemic. The problem is the ongoing war between US proxies and Russia.

We are back to that era of the Cold War, and this war will continue for several years. This war will destroy many big economic giants.

Who will benefit? None! That is true, and my statement might become an NFT! The upcoming recession might exceed our expectations. Stay healthy, stay close to your family, and be practical rather than emotional fools."

The corrected statement should have proper punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and grammar.
Even though your comment covered a wide range of subjects, terms and related economic discussions which also fall between this topic in some ways,  we can't can relate this comment to the current discussion here in this thread which borders around El Salvador Bitcoin adoption,  so I may be right to say that this comment is out of context since it doesn't contain the basic terms and words that relates to this discussion topic.

So mate this is an off-topic-comment.

I think Bukayo Saka should stay at Arsenal. He could take an important place in Arsenal's squad next year. As he is a young player, he can be one of the important football players of the future. He is 21 years old and can play successful games with Arsenal for many years
Considering his present age Saka is a great asset for Arsenal and I am sure the club will put everything in place to keep the players motivated to stay in the club against next season.

Over time, Arsenal have spent quite a good some of the money on players acquisition, /and they have an available replacement for most of their positions so there will always have a possible replacement for Saka already,  but due to the player's wealth players wealth of experience and recent performance, he is a big asset right now.
4251  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: May 13, 2023, 10:30:35 PM

Well, you are right, the absence of the owner of bitvest on this thread  (his own thread) is not an issue to focus on though, but I just feel that a casino that very much depended on this forum for publicity by its owner, and suddenly, the owner disappears with no statement of any kind, or putting another in charge to continue to maintain the thread, I feel that such casino could be a timed bomb waiting to explode.
What if by tomorrow, the casino website is no longer accessible to everyone, and you have money in there, who are you going to reach out to to know what's going on.?
The fact we can't deny is that,  Bedvist and its sister casino have had a long run of publicity and brand marketing in the last few years back and that marketing strategy has pushed in a lot of players to both casinos and their community base is well-structured enough that even though they don't make any further brand marketing, there can continue with businesses for as long as their want.

But it is also better to have an active community-oriented platform compared to a close community with now recorded activities from both team and players alike.
4252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: May 13, 2023, 10:25:02 PM
I would say be aware of the negative consequences of gambling as well while you are about to gamble cause most people get inspired by big wins in the gambling industry but they fail to notice what happened to the majority of people so just play for fun.

Mainly I wanted to say don't chase your loss because it is one of the deadly things we do to ourselves while gambling since the day isn't going in our way betting more money will lead us to lose more money.
Chasing big winning have caused more harm than good in recent time and for that,  it is advisable never to put high hope on gambling,  I wonder how people forget too soon what the term gambling stands for and want to beat the house to it by hitting the high row.

Gambling is a game of luck,  and only those with high luck will win in the end there is no guarantee as to how much one can win so having the mindset of winning big in gambling will lea lead to a worst-case scenario and possibly addictions,  this is why gambling should be done based on some form of restrictions along the way.
4253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Politicians behind the development of gambling platform on: May 13, 2023, 10:10:00 PM
A politician in the Philippines claimed to have had a hand in the development of the very controversial e-sabong platform he operated e-sabong so he can make a lot of money so he can use for the campaign, and his family to win local elections because the election in the Philippines is very costly many candidates are buying votes to secure their win, there were reports that he murdered their family's opponent because of e-sabong.
Do you think that government should have a rule or a law for election candidates not to have a franchise in any form of gambling, in fact, there are a lot of politicians who are operators of illegal small-town lotteries this is to accumulate funds they can use for election campaigns.

Congressman confirms past stint with e-sabong when it was not yet banned by gov’t
When there is a high rate of poverty among the public/citizens or becomes hard for them to have a choice to make in whgovernsrn the affairs of the state,  and even though the power to elect a new leader is left to the citizens to vote in the leader,  high rate of corruption will not allow for true and fair elections.

And since most of the politicians are ready to spend a lot of money just to buy the votes from the improvised voters it then becomes easy for the politicians with the big bag holders to always win the elections and this has become a normal practice all over the world.

And back to whether the politicians own the gambling site/business, there is no gain in saying that we don't know the many escapism that has been played on several occasions that point to this fact also unless for the few of other casinos whose owners may be out of government to do such things.
4254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: May 13, 2023, 09:57:02 PM
I was joining bounty from year 2017 till present i have experience joining different signature and social media campaign with good  earnings and there are also campaigns that is not profitable  and sometimes there are campaign that doesn't pay, because the project does not reach the hard cap when they launch ICO, most of the projects pays token that is not listed on exchange and we need to wait a months or maybe a year before we can sell our tokens and get the profit and sometimes we also buy tokens from the good projects that we promote and hold, can we considered the patience of the bounty hunter same as the investor's patience?
Well the difference between a bounty hunter and an investor is:
1 an investor holds an asset that is already marketable with realistic values vs a bounty hunter is a high-risk individual that gambles on any project by investing their time instead of money and gambling to see if the coin gets listed or not and if the project will actually keep to they promise by distributing the coins allocation for bounty hunters.

2 an investor put in physical cash in the form of investment capital and even though some people invest in new projects,  and are left to face the same faith with bounty hunters whether or not the asset they invested will get listed on the exchange or not but still the risk with altcoin is a general phynominuim.

So in both situations, calculative bounty hunting can be more profitable than investing in the wrong project and the only investment that makes sense right now is Bitcoin and a few other good altcoins.
4255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not a get rich quick on: May 13, 2023, 09:37:47 PM
Many people who always have the thought that things with trading will improve and that from one day to the next or in a matter of weeks they will be rich is the worst lie they can also get, also a person who does not have a high financial education can lose much faster, there are occasions where the novices simply make a tag as if it were a bet and yes, they win, but they win by luck, this is something that should not be because that luck can end at any time and it can stay with nothing, I have seen sad Cases where that happens to many.

So many of those who have that line of thought are being frustrated out of trading when they put in all that they got in an attempt to make quick money since they have the mentality that trading is a means to get rich quickly and that is far from being the truth.

There is not much difference between trading and gambling,  since both are of high risk and not a means to make a steady income so trading can't be taken as a business or investment but a gamble since the outcome of the trade is unknown to the traders and only events in the price of the coin that is being traded is what matters.
4256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 13, 2023, 08:35:17 PM
Arsenal have decided to extend with Bukayo Saka for 4 more years (until 2028) and he is okay for this deal also. This is absolutely one of the best actions Arsenal could have taken honestly. Saka is one of the most valuable players in the team now. He is only 21 years old maybe but the things he has done so far are amazing anyway. This season is also going great for him with 14 goals and 11 assists in total. Saka was speculated to be a candidate for Manchester City in next transfer window but now he wouldn't be anymore.

Look at the grow rate in Saka's market value in the recent 3 years:

Indeed, Bukayo's decision to continue to play for Arsenal was indeed a show of love for this current club and team, and Arsenal not hesitating to retain him was one of the best decisions the club has made so far.
Bukayo is a very talented player, it not the word of mouth, but his achievements in this seasons premier league tournament speaks for him, with his numerous goals and about 11 assists, coupled with the fact that he is still a very young player which speaks strength and speed, it is clear why Arsenal decided to retain him, and doing otherwise would have been really disappointing for Arsenal fans.
Saka have the best opportunity at Asernal in this moment since the club have performed incredibly well since the beginning pf this season and that will go a long way in improving the overall players skills and motivation.

And any player that leaves the club at this moment is only giving up a better chance for them in the future and Bukayo's own case,  the player stands to gain more by remaining in Asernal up till next season when the clubs may have the chance to become top club on the premier league table.

Hello all,

As this is my first post here on this account I expect most of you to think what I am peddling is another shitcoin, but DBI is worth a look. A meme coin based on an IRL character who makes videos and interacts with celebrities. There is already a video with CZ from Binance and Jesse from Kraken. Check it out. I'll try to answer any questions here. Marketcap is 5 mil. IRL event 5/20/23 after BTC Miami.
First from your statement in the first paragraph,  it means this is your Alt account and at that you trying to mislead others because of you trust the project that much why don't you make this thread with your main account?

And also the title of this topic is misleading,  you may try to change it to portray the right message you are trying to pass.

Welcome to the forum and I am sure your quality will make you stand out let see how you put your best forward because it is important that for you to survive in the cryptocurrency market you need to have high knowledge of the concept of bitcoin is and how secured are you using the decentralized network.

But one thing for sure is that,  when it comes to self custody bitcoin and the rest of the other decentralized cryptocurrencies are the best form of assets but how to protect yourself and your assets all depends on you because cryptocurrency blockchain transactions are irreversible and at that you need high knowledge of the technicalities of the process.

My 8-year-old nephew spends a lot of pocket money, spends irrationally, for example, the other day he bought ice cream that cost $ 10, moreover, I told him that perhaps the taste was not the same for the beautiful packaging, which he spat on and bought, as a result I finished eating. They give him 100 dollars for a week, and of course, he does not know where the money comes from and how, he has already gotten used to living from childhood spending on nonsense. How to teach children economic literacy?
There is this practice we used during childhood and it works greatly to cut down our spending,  it is called a saving box,  this can come in any size depending on how much you want to stock in there in cash,  it comes in different makes and designs some are made with steel and ions with a code lock and a space to slide into it the cash while the code will remain unknown until it reaches the time to open the box.

The adult that the kid trusts will have the code to the box and will only open it when the agreed time is reached,
