True, the general public tends to view cryptocurrencies as the proverbial "bad guy," and thats a mindset we should try to change.

It sounds like you're recommending that websites like commonsensetv.nl be used to spread information about cryptocurrencies and the freedom it represents. I can see the value in your suggestion; its outside the norm and it could end up being successful. There is, however, a major "but" that must be taken into account.

While cryptocurrencies do remove certain regulatory barriers to entry, they also arent foolproof. Therefore, advocating for it as the sole route to independence may be deceptive. Therefore, it is essential to emphasize both the advantages and disadvantages.
4242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: July 31, 2023, 10:04:52 PM
So why this belief or do you think it could be true? Or is it one of those superstitious belief among gamblers?
Do you feel cool sharing your predictions with other people and how has the outcome been looking at all the times you have shared your predictions with others?

I don't see a problem with sharing your predictions with others and I don't believe if I do it that it'll make me lose. Sharing your prediction with others doesn't change the games that you have already booked so why will it reduce your chances of winning the bets, they're just superstitions.

I don't believe in superstition because the games are global and what you believe in doesn't after those in other parts of the world. It could affect those in your part of the world but has nothing to do with others. Superstitious are also not real, they just boost your confidence.

And they can also make you have less confidence in yourself but this works for only situation when you haven't done the thing you wanted to do but if you have already played the game then the superstition has no effect anymore. Sharing prediction isn't a wrong thing to do.
Inadvertently creating an echo chamber where people are influenced by each other's ideas and lose their capacity to objectively examine the games is a risk when sharing forecasts. The false sense of security you describe can easily lead to excessive gambling.

Also, its important to remember that despite your rejection of superstitions, people are, by nature, pattern-seeking creatures. The very definition of superstition is the human tendency to see order where none exists and to give significance to chance. It's an integral (though fallible) aspect of the human mind.

`

Why all these comparisons when you can just watch them both and smile? I did compared them alot but these days, I just go back watch these king's doing magic and wonders on and off the field of play.
Ronaldo has earned all of that. Take it easy on you, he's won it all. Most careers can't match what he's achieved so be happy someone could do so through hardwork.

Lionel Messi might be your favorite player but there's no point in all these comparisons. Infact, he has a young mind active brain to do more but believe me he's got no strength and energy to do all that he did during them Europe stay. Lionel Messi is naturally talented and also at this same age, Cristiano Ronaldo dominated the Italian Seria A scoring Astonishing goals.
Its safe to say that both Messi and Ronaldo will go down in history as two of the greatest players of all time. Appreciating their individual strengths rather than making comparisons sounds like the proper approach. Keep in mind that every player has their own distinct play style, set of skills, and story. Ronaldo had a major impact in Italian Seria A thanks to his dogged dedication, whereas Messi was successful due to his innate ability. Due of his relative youth, Messi may yet possess some useful skills. But do we think Ronaldo is ready to admit that his playing days are over? We can only speculate. His enthusiasm is easily misunderstood as anger, but thats just how he plays. After all, who doesnt like a good soccer drama?
4244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if salaries were paid in BTC on: July 31, 2023, 09:24:06 PM
I'm paid in another coin and it's fine. But I don't think people would do it massively
It would be hard to do it massively as a lot of commerce are still not open to accept bitcoin. As we all know there is still an existing mindset of the public about the negative views on using bitcoin. Though I do agree that it will be a good change specially in trading and international transaction, it is something that will take a long time for people to accept and adapt. Hopefully though, one day it will come to that.
I am not sure if it would be that weird. After all you are capable of exchanging it quickly, which means that you could pay people in bitcoins, but all you are going to be paying is the dollar version of it.

Well, you can put your money, the money you would pay in fiat, into an exchange and get something like USDT or BUSD, which means that you are going to have the same amount of money, it is not changing. Then you are going to end up turning it into bitcoin and paying people that same moment, which means that you are only losing the same amount of dollars as you would but they are getting paid in bitcoin instead. If it goes down, it's their trouble, if they preferred bitcoin payments then they took that risk and they have to eat up the losses.
Bitcoin's famed volatility can be mitigated, at least in the short term, by using stablecoins like USDT or BUSD as a go-between for Bitcoin transactions. The recipient has the option of keeping the Bitcoins as Bitcoin or converting them back into fiat currency.

One of the advantages of cryptocurrencies is highlighted by this method. It's fine with decentralization and provides the reassurance of fiat money.

Despite the dangers, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies provide users unprecedented control over their own finances. These 'risks' may become the norm as the digital era continues to develop. After all, we can shape the destiny of our own digital currency.
4245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beginners, you don't need Bitcoin first on: July 31, 2023, 09:02:53 PM
I strongly agree on this one and I think most will as well. Bitcoin should always come in second until you come to a level where it is your main occupation, if you are into trading. I did make this kind of mistake and always looked forward to investing any kind of money I get back when I was in school, but most of the time it was impossible since it was my only money "income" as you said.

Beginners should go for a job firstly and then, only if you have an amount of money that you can afford losing and don't need it at the time, you should invest it. And if you are independent, you should probably wait for a better than average paid job before investing.

My advice for beginners would be to try cashing in their skills or services and stuff like that for Bitcoin in return. While you don't have a full time job, you certainly have time to start earning bits of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin shouldnt replace a regular income, especially for new users. Before adding storeys, you must construct a sturdy foundation. Bitcoin investments are the extra storeys on top of a consistent income.

I find it intriguing that skills or services may earn Bitcoin. Its intriguing to turn time, our most precious resource, into Bitcoin. New Bitcoin users can join the movement without risking their money.

Bitcoin is a currency and an investment, yet we often overlook that. We encourage Bitcoin's use and value as a global, independent currency by exchanging it for products and services
4246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Another Good Source Of Motivation For You ... on: July 31, 2023, 08:41:08 PM
You just shared one of a great idea to have some motivation to invest in Bitcoin. I can remember I was a Bitcoin holder because people had trust on it for long term. Then I converted to Altcoins for faster growth of my assets. Then I realized that without Bitcoin all the Cryptocurrencies are just like a flying fish.

Again I motivated when I saw some users here too much trust on it that they are storing their pocket money, extra expenses and also some are selling properties to invest in it ( though they aren't suggested). But their passion is really appreciate able. So I again started to invest in Bitcoin. And I hope very soon I will see new comers are also involving in Bitcoin though they have little investments. As soon as they will have some opportunities I hope they will adopt it earlier.
So there are many good source of motivations are surrounding with you and you just need to follow them wisely.
Its fascinating how Bitcoin faith fluctuates with its price. Altcoins are used to obtain money back faster, although people usually return to Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency leader. Altcoins, no matter how promising, struggle to compete with Bitcoin's natural trust and longevity.

Your narrative of selling homes for Bitcoin proves this. They risk it because they trust in Bitcoin's future. Youre right - this zeal inspires. It reminds me of the early internet, which changed the world.

Your narrative can educate newcomers. Bitcoin is sturdy and will outlast cryptocurrency trends.

4247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going to Bitcoin events on: July 31, 2023, 08:18:53 PM
Going to Bitcoin events certainly adds a lot of expertise to your knowledge and you will be able to see things you didn't know about in your digital life and meet new friends who could help you clarify any doubts you had.  Bitcoin events are very educational.
I doubt it actually adds anything to your knowledge beyond what you already know. These are not scientific conferences where new tech or new discoveries are talked about rather most of them are advertisements of newly launched vaporware which seem to good to be true (<read scam). There are many of these that have happened in the previous few bull cycles but their numbers are limited to a few countries only making it a barrier for the rest of the world to visit.

Most just go there for the free lunch and some free coins or carrybags or just to stalk some chicks. Grin
Indeed, many crypto conferences do appear to be little more than elaborate opportunities to promote upcoming enterprises. But I think you're taking too limited a view of them. They are more than just pretty faces; they are hubs for networking. Isn't it beneficial to find others who share your interests, learn from them, and challenge your thinking? It's not just about brand new technologies being unveiled, but about improving and disseminating existing ones as well

It's true that enticing freebies might be hard to resist. Who doesn't enjoy a tasty sandwich? However, keep in mind that the experience itself holds the most worth. These events give us insight into the team behind a project, their values, and their level of dedication, which is invaluable in the opaque world of cryptocurrency. In addition, this ordeal provides us Bitcoin supporters with even another rationale to band together and strengthen our convictions
4248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does cryptocurrency actually solve any problems? on: July 31, 2023, 07:56:39 PM
I love cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, for its decentralization and empowerment. Bitcoin relies on a network of computers, making it immune to centralization. Consider typical financial system corruption and power abuse. How often have these collapsed economies? Bitcoin takes that authority from abusers. Instead, it trusts the network.

Cryptocurrency also helps unbanked people. Traditional banking is unavailable to billions. Bitcoin, however, may be accessed and traded online. Want a distinct value proposition? It is. Democracy, security, accessibility, and transparency. Each cryptocurrency has unique qualities and uses. I think Bitcoin is the biggest revolution
4249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin to pay everything online? on: July 31, 2023, 07:34:42 PM
Using Bitcoin for every transaction isnt the answer, especially for little, fast purchases like buying bananas from a hawker. Instead, consider Bitcoin a multipurpose instrument for managing your finances.

Its fine if Bitcoin doesnt immediately replace fiat currency or plastic credit cards for making small purchases. Where it really excels is in situations where typical banking fees would be prohibitive, such as when making large transactions.

Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are gaining popularity, and developments in technology like second-layer solutions may eventually make cheap, quick transactions the norm. In the meantime, enjoy Bitcoin for its one-of-a-kind benefits.
4250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education and money as the key to Bitcoin adoption. on: July 31, 2023, 07:12:46 PM
`

Your knowledge and money will be useless if the government bans Bitcoin in your country. You are right, the government is really the key because if the government supports it, the people will follow. Though it is not the only reason why they aren't adopting bitcoin is because they heard about it from illegal things that were shown or heard in the news. That is the first time those people heard about it, and if they hear it again, they will be thinking again that it is like money for illegal things.
Government rules and policies surely affect Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies' broad adoption. They can ease or hinder change. Bitcoin is widely stated to be used in illegal activities, although this is an oversimplification. Remember that conventional currencies have also been used illegally, but they have escaped the moniker "money for illegal things." Criminals can't hide on the blockchain, and Bitcoin transactions may be traced. Bitcoin has improved from its darknet market days. We must overcome these illusions to appreciate Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Yeah, government regulation is one of the great challenges of Bitcoin adoption.  But it looks like the path for Bitcoin adoption is somehow clear now because there are politicians who intend to back up Bitcoin and one US presidential candidate even wanted to make Bitcoin as back up to the dollar.  If this happen I could not imagine how huge the market will be boosted.

Although Bitcoin had been tarnished by being used in illegal activity before, Bitcoin blockchain being transparent gives light that it is very risky for criminals to use it for their illegal engagement.

I still believe that one day bitcoin will be accepted worldwide. But please don't believe what those politicians say about bitcoin, what they want is to win people's trust, they want people's votes, so they will do anything as long as it works for them.
The tarnish of bitcoin is caused by the government spreading misinformation so as long as they accept bitcoin, all doubts and misunderstandings will be cleared. I still repeat my argument: government is the key to all that bitcoin needs.
That being said, Bitcoin's reach has already outpaced several country's GDPs, indicating its global acceptance in the economic sphere. Yet, to break the shackle of misinformation, it's not just government acceptance that's required.

A decentralized currency like Bitcoin relies on the people, not governments. While government support may propel Bitcoin's adoption, it is the grassroots level understanding and acceptance that truly matter. In the end, people will drive Bitcoin's destiny, not politicians or governments.
4251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 18, holding my bitcoin and looking forward :) on: July 31, 2023, 06:51:00 PM
I like how you see Bitcoin as a tool for financial independence rather than just an investment. Digital is the future, and you're early. During the halving event, things usually get electric. Given inflation and economic instability, Bitcoin may be our lifeboat. Keep up with crypto developments and research. Participate in Bitcoin forums and learn as much as you can. Selling Bitcoins in batches may be a good idea. You never know how high Bitcoin can go. Consider selling in phases instead than all at once.
4252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC asked Coinbase to halt trading in everything except BITCOIN, CEO says on: July 31, 2023, 06:27:52 PM
Thats an intriguing analysis of what the SEC's action against Coinbase means. However, bear in mind that the landscape of regulation is still in its infancy and is subject to rapid change. What if Bitcoin's success is owed less to its quality than to the fact that it was the first digital currency?

Lets be honest, numerous alternative cryptocurrencies give superior features to Bitcoin. Smart contracts on Ethereum and oracles on Chainlink are just two examples of how blockchain technology is changing industries outside finance.

It may be wishful thinking to assume that Bitcoin's substantial price increase will be the result of its legal difference. What if this categorization results in more stringent standards for Bitcoin while the alternative cryptocurrencies thrive under less stringent rules?
4253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Certified Bitcoin Professional on: July 31, 2023, 06:04:43 PM
While the prospect of earning a "Certified Bitcoin Professional" designation intrigues me, it also makes me suspicious. There is a clear need for more uniform qualifications in this field, but it is unclear if C4's accreditation, or that of any other group, can meet that demand. How does one become a Bitcoin expert? Programming, trading, investing, and other financial savvy would all be helpful, at least in theory.

In addition, developments in the bitcoin industry occur at an unprecedented rate, making it difficult for a static curriculum to keep up. It's like trying to keep water from dripping through your fingers.

Last but not least, an accreditation's worth is determined by its standing in the marketplace. I am interested in knowing how this certification is seen by potential employers. Does it set you apart from the competition significantly, or is it just another line on your resume?
4254  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: July 30, 2023, 10:10:03 PM
Just think of a situation that there is no money involvement into gambling. What will be number of people using it, for the purpose of fun or to get excitement. It is all about the money that is connected with the gambling activity that lets you to be more interested into it. Everyone are into gambling for money except few people who have got sufficient money, but for some sort of thrill and excitement they've tasted in gambling. Anyhow the money making process depending on luck is another factor that makes people show much interest, if it is much about learning and executing maybe there'll be less users around.
Exactly, how many people would be gambling if there was no money involved in gambling. Of course, no one could be found. No matter how much we say we accept gambling as a fan, but the reality is that if there was no money, there would be no fun. Many of us often recommend the use of Gambling's demo account to teach new gamblers how to gamble. But it can be seen that no one is encouraged to gamble because there is no gain or loss even if you lose much money as you like. If there was any real money related issue, it would have been used. Whether a person has enough money or not, those who like gambling will gamble. There are so many gamblers who have lot of money but they like to gamble because there is a matter of money involved.
Take away the potential for profit and gambling would lose its charm; it would be no more than a hollow pastime.

Yet, isnt this true for all risk-taking activities? Humans are wired to seek rewards and avoid losses, and its this very instinct that fuels our appetite for risk. Gambling simply presents a more direct and immediate way to satisfy this instinct.

And yes, demo accounts may seem unexciting due to the absence of real money. But lets not forget their true purpose: to serve as a safe and risk-free training ground for newcomers. Gambling with actual money without proper training is akin to diving head-first into a pool without knowing how to swim; the outcome is predictable.
4255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: July 30, 2023, 09:38:36 PM

The painful part of it was that the two games were to kick off on the same time, and after the games,my prediction for the two games was wrong. I felt so bad because I allowed greed to control my emotion. For this reason,I having decided that when ever I have an opportunity to cash out again,I will always go for it,instead of thinking that I can win all the money.
So my question is this,as a gambler what mistake have you made when gambling that prevented you from winning big.
Let's discuss.

I have experienced what you are going through many times before. I am sure there is no one here who does not experience the same things. After all, being greedy is our common weakness. That's why I only bet on a single match now. I think this is a safer choice. Because as the number of matches increases, your chances of winning statistically decrease. I think it's better to bet on a single match. In addition, this method eliminates waiting for long hours. I choose to bet on a single match because I am a bit of an impatient person and like to prefer safer methods. I recommend you try it.
The adage "less is more" rings well in this situation, as complications caused by several bets can quickly lead to a downward spiral of frustration.

But let me argue the other side for a second. Isnt a big part of betting on many matches the excitement and tension that comes from doing so? The odds may be stacked against you, but that just makes things more exciting, right?

Sticking to one match at a time does seem like a good plan, especially for someone with your self-proclaimed impatience. I understand the need for a quick resolution, for a shred of optimism in the face of overwhelming odds. The beauty of novelty should not be forgotten.
4256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: July 30, 2023, 09:11:22 PM
`

This shows the importance of financial decision-making without emotion. You're right that financial concerns can cloud judgment and lead to bad decisions. You advised "thinking like a robot," but this isnt always optimum. Instead, we should spend wisely. Financial success is a means to an end. Balance realism and aspiration. Its important to make every dollar count, but money serves us.
4257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: July 30, 2023, 08:46:33 PM
If you are running a business how will you know how much you are making every month if you are not keeping records? If you are running a family how will you know the exact amount you are spending on them from your monthly income or paycheck? If you can't do this how will you even be able to safe some money aside? Or how will you invest some money? Many people have this problem unfortunately,  a life without a math is prone to failure, said my late father, who also used to say that, in everything you plan to do always do some calculations first.

You need to know the expenses that always come your way every month and how much from your paycheck will fix the expenses, this should always come first before gambling, things that have high risks like gambling should always come last, this is the only way you will maintain a responsible man.

Between losing a gambling game and going back to your family and your job like nothing happened or losing a gambling game and losing your family and probably your job too, choose one, this is the difference between an irresponsible gambler and a responsible one.
Your point is too one-sided. Professionals have made it a science. They understand the arithmetic underlying the games they play, and like any business, they keep thorough records of their victories and losses to better their methods. However, a reckless gambler could lose control.

A family's monthly spending may not be comparable to gambling. Gambling is unpredictable, while budgeting for a family or business is consistent. Both instances require strict money management.
4258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: July 30, 2023, 08:25:16 PM
I saw many high rank users here that asking for loan and directly deposit the loan amount on gambling account.

I saw how people take loans for gambling as well, online and in real life. We have many topics on the forum about loans, but everything comes down to simple things, and it's about how simple and easy is to take a loan for anything, but the problem appears when a loan needs to be repaid. So before taking a loan for anything people needs to have a plan and a backup plan if needed to repay the loan.

I took many loans in my life, for all sorts of things, and I never had problems with repaying. I guess that once in a while, every person gets in some situation that asks for extra cash, it's simply life for most of us... but taking a loan for fun without any plan for how to return it (or relying on some luck to be able to return the loan) will most likely lead to some bad things.
You've managed your loans well; congratulations! It requires discipline and fiscal responsibility. However, the case is not the same for everyone. The rush of borrowing money, especially for non-essential purposes like gambling, often brings along a complacency where the borrower believes luck will sort things out.

People need to understand that loans are financial tools, not tickets to a free money gala. They should be used strategically, like for investments that can generate returns, not for ephemeral pleasure activities that leave them in debt. This is where financial education plays a crucial role. People need to learn not just how to borrow, but how to use and repay their loans efficiently.
4259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 30, 2023, 07:54:02 PM
In today's game, Real Madrid attacked a lot but could not succeed because of the lack of forward players. Special teams have had a tough season challenging due to player turnover this season. Meanwhile, finding the weakness of Real Madrid, the few attacks that the Barcelona team made were almost successful. But I can see that Real Madrid had more possession than Barcelona but Real Madrid couldn't find any chance to score. So unless an experienced striker is present, it will be difficult for Real Madrid to secure a win.
It is not always accurate to predict how a team will perform in an upcoming season from their preseason games. The season can start and we will see an entirely different team from the team and the performance from the preseason games. See from the games played, Manchester United won Arsenal, and Real Madrid went ahead to win Manchester United. Arsenal won Barcelona, and Barcelona went ahead to win Real Madrid. You see that each game had a strategy that each coach just wanted to try out. When the season begins, Real Madrid will be stronger and Joselu will be able to fill in the position he is to occupy for the time.
Practice games allow teams to prepare, experiment, and collaborate. I concur, and training games shouldn't be overvalued. Like your examples, training wins dont automatically guarantee a team will win the regular season.

But remember that these games can increase team spirit. Barcelona's win over Real Madrid, in which they were more precise with fewer shots, may have boosted team spirit. Real Madrid's offensive aggression may also indicate stylistic progress. These pairings are experiments, so it's important to apply these outcomes.
4260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 30, 2023, 07:22:09 PM
`.

I don't think Manchester United will let Maguire go for 20 million and complete the deal with West Ham. The price clause offered by West Ham is far below Manchester United's expectations, even though as we know Maguire is getting worse and no one wants him there anymore including Manchester United fans. Seeing these conditions I am quite concerned to see Maguire who is constantly under pressure, but there is nothing he can do other than leave because there is no place for him anymore at Manchester United. Manchester United want 35-40 million for any club interested in Maguire. If another club bids more than West Ham then Manchester United will not hesitate to sign a deal. He is 30 years old, old enough for him to be in the EPL and I think he will most likely go to the Arab League if one of the Arab clubs makes an offer, for his age most of them would choose to go there with the aim of increasing their finances. I'll still be waiting for an update on Maguire.
The situation with Harry Maguire at Manchester United brings up important questions about the risks that come with player success. Maguire's performance has gotten worse, and it looks like Manchester United will decide to part ways with him soon. West Ham's offer of $20 million may not match the club's valuation, but given Maguire's present form, is any other team likely to offer much more? Maybe the best thing for them to do is to let Maguire go while the deal is still good. Possible deals from the Arab League could be more lucrative, but they depend on Maguire's popularity, which seems doubtful right now. Its a scary situation, and we're looking forward to hearing more
