New CMP video: “And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating”



The Center for Medical Progress has just released a new video this morning, which continues its in-depth interview with former StemExpress procurement technician Holly O’Donnell. In this video, O’Donnell describes how she saw her supervisor tap the chest of “the most gestated fetus” O’Donnell had yet seen in her work — and the heart started beating. Nonetheless, the child was killed and dissected. In another case, O’Donnell describes being instructed to extract a brain through the face of a cadaver. “I can’t even describe what that feels like,” O’Donnell says.

The series focuses on the personal narrative of Holly O’Donnell, a former Blood and Tissue Procurement Technician for StemExpress, a biotech start-up that until last week was partnered with two large northern California Planned Parenthood affiliates to purchase their aborted fetus parts and resell them for scientific experimentation.

O’Donnell describes the harvesting, or “procurement,” of organs from a nearly intact late-term fetus aborted at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte’s Alameda clinic in San Jose, CA. “‘I want to see something kind of cool,’” O’Donnell says her supervisor asked her. “And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And I’m sitting here and I’m looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I don’t know what to think.”

The San Jose Planned Parenthood does abortions up to 20 weeks of pregnancy. Referring to the beating heart of the aborted fetus, O’Donnell remarks, “I don’t know if that constitutes it’s technically dead, or it’s alive.”

State and federal law require that the same treatment be given to an infant born-alive after an abortion as to a normally delivered baby (1 U.S.C. 8, CA Health and Safety Code 123435). California law also prohibits any kind of experimentation on a fetus with a discernible heartbeat (CA Health and Safety Code 123440). StemExpress has been cited in published scientific literature as a source of fetal hearts used for Langendorff perfusion, which keeps a heart beating after it is excised from the body[.]

O’Donnell also tells how her StemExpress supervisor instructed her to cut through the face of the fetus in order to get the brain. “I can’t even describe what that feels like,” she says.


This is not just O’Donnell’s imagination. CMP’s investigators also get the executive director of Novogenix Laboratories, Dr. Ben van Handel, to acknowledge that “there are times when after the procedure [abortion] is done that the heart is still beating.” Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Deborah Nucatola says during the wine-and-salad lunch that abortionists use digoxin to kill fetuses in order to avoid violating the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, but digoxin renders the tissue useless for researchers. To get the value of the tissue, the fetuses cannot be poisoned — and as a result, live babies result in many cases.

Toward the end, O’Donnell relates another heartbreaking story of a dissected child, and the need to dispose of him. The body was too large to fit into the container, got stuck, and O’Donnell had to work it into the medical-waste disposal bag. “It was really hard knowing that you’re the only person who’s ever going to hold that baby.”

Abortion kills babies, but sometimes abortion isn’t enough to finish the job. These clinics are killing children born alive from these procedures, simply to harvest their organs. That violates the federal BAIPA law. Will the Department of Justice enforce it?

Whatever Hillary Clinton is selling, the panel on Morning Joe ain’t buying. The presumed Democratic frontrunner tried turning the Saga of the Secret Server into a joke this weekend, and then made it part of the Hillary fantasy of the vast right-wing conspiracy in further remarks. Not only does that not fly with the commentariat, Chuck Todd told the panel this morning, it’s no longer working on Democrat voters in Iowa, all thanks to three letters — F, B, and I:

Joe Scarborough: Forget the first problem, which was as you were saying, deciding to set up your own serve outside the State Department.

Chuck Todd: That’s why we’re here.

Scarborough: Let’s just go to last night. She’s in a fundraiser, this is much ado about nothing. And she is doing Snapchat jokes while the FBI is expanding their investigation, and now 305 emails and beyond, where all of us, who report the news, who you know read the news, look at it and go, well, that’s plainly not true. Just look at what se did last night and she’s digging herself if deeper in a a hole. By destroying her credibility. Why is she doing it?

Todd: You know, this is the only explanation is, it’s how they’ve handled these situations for the last 25 years.

Scarborough: But she’s fighting The New York Times, not Breitbart.

Todd: They believe they have been fighting The New York Times, by the way, for 50 years.

Scarborough: Let me say this, it’s the FBI, not Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh.

Todd: Which by the way, those three letters, because, look, I found the same thing. In my three days in Iowa when I was talking to Democrats out there and not just Democrats who want a job, right, Democrats who just simply are voting and taking their kids to the fair. The letters FBI is what changed this story. This is the difference between us and Washington and New York saying and her effectively a month ago being able to say this is you guys in the media that care about this, voters don’t. That was true a month ago. The three letters FBI totally changed the game.

It’s not just the e-mails they’re looking at potentially. Now that they have the server, they should be able to tell how many different users were accessing it, including unauthorized users. Which is to say, even if it can’t be proved that Hillary herself knowingly transmitted classified information in an insecure manner — not the criminal standard of culpability but the moral standard she’ll claim in doing damage control — the feds might be able to tell if foreign spies were reading her e-mail. It’ll be fun watching her on the trail trying to sell herself as the experienced adult in the room on national security when the papers are full of stories about the Chinese or Russians reading Top Secret documents right over her shoulder. At a minimum, the feds should be able to glean just how thorough her security protocols were. Did she do everything in her power to impede outside access into the system? The early bets on that are … not in her favor.

Another key question: When, precisely, was the server wiped? PolitiFact addressed that question last month and the closest it came to an answer was sometime in the fall of 2014, after the State Department had asked her for her work-related correspondence and she sent them a batch of e-mails in reply. Is that true, or did she actually wipe it much later, perhaps after Trey Gowdy subpoenaed her in March demanding that she produce all correspondence related to the Benghazi attack? If the answer is “after” then we have obstruction of justice in the form of destroying records to avoid compliance with a lawful demand. In fact, even if the answer is “before,” you could argue that we have obstruction of justice anyway. Law prof Ronald Rotunda made a compelling case back in March that if Hillary had reason to believe her e-mails might be subpoenaed eventually, then destroying them would make her guilty of anticipatory obstruction of justice. You shouldn’t be allowed to evade punishment, after all, just because you’re quick off the block in erasing damaging material while the authorities are still drawing up subpoenas and search warrants. If it turns out the server was wiped much later than we thought, when she clearly had reason to believe congressional investigators and even the FBI might have interest in it, she might be cooked.

Exit question: Why didn’t she have the server physically destroyed after she left the State Department so that nothing would be recoverable? For that matter, why didn’t she purge her archives and replace the server periodically, precisely so that she could claim it was a normal business practice if/when the feds came calling? The weirdest thing about this scandal is how haphazard Hillary’s behavior was throughout. She took a huge risk to begin with by putting her correspondence on an insecure private server, knowing that spies would be eager to infiltrate it, but instead of shelling out big bucks for the best security money could buy, she ran the operation out of her basement and then turned the old server over to a small mom-and-pop shop in the midwest. I would have thought the Clintons would hire their own white-hat hackers to defend their system from invasive attacks 24/7 and then run the latest server through an industrial shredder every year or so to make sure any data is good and gone. I don’t get it.

FBI Optimistic It Can Recover Some Data From Clinton Server



The FBI may be able to recover at least some data from Hillary Clinton's private email server even though there was an attempt to wipe it, two sources with direct knowledge of the process told NBC News on Tuesday.

The FBI is investigating the security of Clinton's personal server and the thumb drives that contain emails related to her work as secretary of state during President Barack Obama's first term. The Clinton campaign has previously acknowledged that there was an attempt to wipe the server before it was turned over last week to the FBI.


The FBI "will try to figure what's there, how it got there and who put it there," one of the sources said.


A team of intelligence community reviewers also looking at emails from the server have identified 305 documents that have been referred to their agencies for further consultation, State Department lawyers said in a court filing Tuesday intended to update a federal judge on efforts to release the emails.

Tuesday afternoon, Rick Wilson, a top Republican consultant who sometimes appears on CNN as an analyst, sent a tweet to conservative author and columnist Ann Coulter asking if Donald Trump pays her extra for anal sex. “Does Trump pay you more for anal?” Wilson tweeted.

Apparently Wilson was responding to Coulter tweeting out a Breitbart News article from Monday detailing his bizarre decision to politicize a rape threat Wilson claims was made against his daughter.



Breitbart News reached out to Coulter about the “anal” tweet. She replied that Wilson’s “only remaining move is to use the Anthony Weiner ‘MY TWITTER ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED!’ defense.”

This is just the latest from Wilson, who is also a writer for Politico, Ricochet, and The Federalist.

Friday on CNN, Wilson attacked 25% of the Republican base as “low information voters.” Just two days later he publicly politicized the rape threat against his daughter. Twenty-four hours after that he’s publicly accusing Coulter of being a prostitute.

In an interview with the New York Times published on Monday, Bernie Sanders offered his views on the always entertaining presidential campaign of Donald Trump. And he didn’t mince words. When asked what he thought of the Republican front-runner’s continued surge in the polls, Sanders responded, “Not much,” and hit back at Trump’s racist rhetoric.

“I think Donald Trump’s views on immigration and his slurring of the Latino community is not something that should be going on in the year 2015,” Sanders said. “And it’s to me an embarrassment for our country.”

LOS ANGELES — Chanell Temple, a black woman originally from Huntington Park, delivered a strident, politically incorrect speech against illegal immigration on Monday evening at the local city council meeting.

Temple, who now lives in the Hawthorne area of Los Angeles, was protesting the council’s recent decision to appoint two illegal aliens to city commissions. She told Breitbart News she had not intended to speak at the meeting, but was offended when someone compared illegal aliens to slaves. She added that she supports Donald Trump “a hundred percent.”

…undocumented illegal immigrants who have been assigned to the position of commissioner.

The Huntington Park City Council is being paid with taxpayers’ money to do a job within rules and regulations. According to your board behind you, it says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” I want to paraphrase that and say: Where there is no law, the people perish.

In the U.S. we have one rule of law. I also want to talk about the Fourteenth Amendment, which was added to the Constitution in regards to blacks being given birthright citizenship because blacks helped build this country, including the White House—twice.

Please do not tarnish the name of black slaves by comparing them to your plight. There’s no comparison. None.

Black slaves did not break into this country, okay. They were brought here against their will. Also, black slaves are not immigrants. Immigrants are people with a choice, they come here by choice. Black slaves didn’t have choice.

That’s offensive to me because I’m a descendant of a black slave. And trust me, Ancestry.com works and I can trace my people back from when they landed here on the boat. I know the village where my people came from in Africa, OK? So please, do not try to get away with using that. That’s very offensive.

This country has been good to illegal immigrants. You have been given jobs, houses, tax money, free tax money, welfare, Social Security, they open up business for you guys, et cetera.

None—I don’t know of any illegal aliens who have been hung from a tree. I don’t know of any of them illegal aliens who have dogs been sicced on. So that’s very offensive for you to sit up here and allow these people to say that and get away with it. Things that people are going to feel sorry for. That’s very offensive, OK? In an interview Tuesday morning, Temple explained further:

I grew up in the Huntington Park area. I was raised in that area. I live in Hawthorne now. That area over there has been a Latino area for decades, for a long time. They witnessed racial tension in that area. My mother was a property owner over in that area.

What I said last night was not my intention. What kind of disturbed me is when someone got up and talked about slavery. There is no comparison. They need to stop pretending like they are being mistreated. They have pushed and disturbed the community. They have 95% of the jobs and they still act like they are mistreated.

Yes I am black, but I’m an American. They are getting away with murder. I was in Sacramento recently, and I protested about Kate Steinle. Then they get a get-out-of-jail-free card, and my nephew is in jail. They release them–30,000, if not more–every year. They put them right back on the street and it’s not right.

The black community–we’re tired of them citing civil rights because of people like Al Sharpton. They are being treated better than American citizens with our tax money.

I’m just tired. I lost my job. I was told I did not speak Spanish and I was terminated from my job. Even now it’s difficult to get a job. They told me I was fired for not being able to speak Spanish. I applied to McDonald’s and they told me that they don’t hire blacks–and it was a black owner. I filed with EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission). I have my documentation. I was denied a job….But they didn’t do anything. They are putting illegal immigrants before blacks. I applied for three jobs with the County of L.A. and they didn’t give me a job, and when I filed a complaint they called me a racist. I ended up homeless.

We have a rule of law. Why can’t they obey the law? Little do they know they are making us [Americans] closer. We are standing as Americans, as all races and colors. They want to throw out the race card. We are tired of being abused, and it’s got to stop.

Our politicians are giving them the power in the fight against us–the people using our tax money, writing these laws and using them against us….

Yes, black lives matter, but if we had jobs we wouldn’t be put in these situations to be attacked. A lot of parental rights have been restricted and are being taken away. There’s a lot in the black neighborhood that needs to be worked on. We need to get our house in order first and we need to get jobs back to get back on track.

We have no recourse. We are not being represented. Now we’re in the shadows, we are being buried in the shadows.
