4241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZCash vs ZCL on: January 10, 2020, 07:31:26 PM
I've been reading on twitter how good ZCL project is, to me it's not good enough, i know that this Zclassic change many lives in last bullrun, i knew someone who had 1000 ZCL and sold for 200+ per one but after doing research i noticed the coin is not listed on any top exchange, how come since all this while? If you are to choose between ZCL and ZCash which will you choose and why?

I don't know much about the coin, but am curious to know why you think it's not good enough. Are you more interested in profit part  or what it offers? The lack of listing on top exchanges wouldn't be my main concern. I would care more about what it can do and how it does it
4242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Creating a Bitcoin Ecosystem - Earn & Spend on: January 10, 2020, 04:56:35 PM
Earn and spend is actually a good idea, especially if done within a decentralized Bitcoin ecosystem . I guess Lightening Network is best suited for this. A serious earn and spend initiative(if ran like an independent society) could seriously conjest the network.
4243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: January 10, 2020, 04:09:15 PM
if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
what's you thought about it Huh

and how i make my account safe  Huh

Banks had the same issue years ago. At the time they had no specific policy of who was ultimatelly liable. Its still a grey area. Unfortunately when you are dealing in a market proud to be unregulated you cant expect or probaly receive protection. There are some more trusted exchanges out there but its the issue in the industry IMO.

Well, hacks hardly happen on decentralized exchanges (real DEXes atleast). Coin exchange on DEXes happen from traders controlled addresses/exchange smart contact. So coin owners are expected to keep their private keys safe
4244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FootyGuru365.com Feedback on: January 10, 2020, 10:04:29 AM
Site looks OK & simple.
Curious to know where  the "bets of the day" are picked from. From other gambling sites? How about "Go Pro To Unlock"? A paid plan?

Quote
We do expect it to win at least 75% of the time though.
This sounds too good to be true. Does it work for anyone?
4245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: January 10, 2020, 09:14:13 AM
When I knew Bitcoin, I started playing gambling. So I used this currency to play comfortably compared to Fiat money. I don't care what's going on with the Bitcoin price at least it's still worth. It's easier to use Bitcoin because making a deposit doesn't require a personal identity. As we know we have to provide a full name and bank account to deposit on gambling sites using fiat money. The most important thing for me is to remain anonymous.
So that the player of here wants to use crypto coins instead of fiat because  literally crypto is easy to use need only some step and you can play a gambling games anonymous . But mostly in the real world ppeople use fiat because it is tradition when also the gambling games is not using technology or the only play a gambling games traditional but both is useful.

not all . others prefer fiat and they dont care about thier identity or other hassels because they grown up with fiat and they already got used to it  but for starters on online gambling they just discover another great way to gamble using cryptocurrency  .

idk if crypto were now available to use for offline casinos as i never heard of any but i hear that cryptos were now be able to use on other offline service like atm and shopping , etc .

Probably in Crypto-friendly countries. And their usage will most likely be regulated there.

I guess people don't care about the identity thing because they have no choice. I found handing my ID to strangers (before discovering crypto) a bit creepy. I believe many feel thesame way.
4246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much should i trust crypto Youtuber? on: January 10, 2020, 06:05:04 AM
I guess you can only trust those who are honest and don't sound desperate. I specifically like those who tell you about all the advantages and disadvantages of what they promote without sounding too pessimistic, and also willing to guide you whenever you run into problems.
4247  Other / Off-topic / Re: Possibly the biggest ponzi in history - OneCoin (article) on: January 10, 2020, 05:37:36 AM
I have read alot about Onecoin on this forum but I haven't for once researched it, so I won't pass a judgment yet. Some of my  criticisms of the coin are based on hearsay.
Well, I just added "research onecoin" on my reminder app. Once am done researching it, I will finally decide whether it's worth it or not.

I think certain ponzi-like schemes are sustainable. For example: a scheme with many groups... 4 to 6 employed/self-employed people in one group. The members of each could be making turn by turn monthly or weekly contributions to a member of their group. Once someone misses his/her contribution, he is given few days of grace or automatically replaced by another employed person. What makes this different from ponzi/pyramid scheme is the grouping of few employed people in a single group.
I have seen this used by a relation in her community and it works for them
4248  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle pain? on: January 10, 2020, 05:06:32 AM
I personally do not handle some kind of pain with pain killer(especially synthetic pain killer).

I think some pains are our bodies way of telling us something is wrong in our bodies. In my opinion, suppressing the pain without adequately treating the cause can be dangerous
I try to eat more healthy, drink lots of warm water, exercise(doing house chores alternatively), and adopt a healthy lifestyle... If the pain doesn't go away, I'll then use painkiller(still not synthetic). There are lots of natural pain killers around. Maybe Googling will help.
4249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO finally admitted shilling both BTC and BNB on: January 09, 2020, 01:58:11 PM
Did he really use the word shilling?
Well,  if he promotes his project the right way, like showcasing  what makes it better than others, that wouldn't be a problem. I guess if a project has nothing great to promote or  the developers fear it doesn't  meet "important Blockchain standard", the only option left for them is shilling.

Not saying bnb isn't a good coin. Am more focused on binance projects. None is really decentralized as far as I can tell.
4250  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: Megawatts or Megahash - rating miners. on: January 09, 2020, 01:25:07 PM
This would probably be a good idea if it discourage excessive energy consumption by large miners. Hopefully it pressures the miners to abandon the old way(which I believe has served it purpose) and adopt an efficient, clean, less energy consuming PoW, hybrid or other mining means.
I feel that having large mining farms defeat the whole purpose of Blockchain/decentralization.
In my opinion, a decentralized system shouldn't have large concentrated hardware or consume as much energy as powerful companies with large energy consuming data centers.
If  "things" continue like this, mining could become very unprofitable and the whole mining will be unprofitably ran by single entity/company for their own agenda.
4251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How i presently feel about bounties on: January 09, 2020, 10:50:58 AM
I do not remember exactly how the allocation thing works. Been a bit long I participated in a bounty, but your observation sounds reasonable, because not all that glitter is Gold. Many creators of bounties tend to hype or exaggerate things to attract "hunters".
I think you made an important observation, whether true or not I don't know... Others should probably research into it to see if it's a fact or not, they could benefit from it as well, if it does really work
4252  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Lottery Relaunch Now Live! Play and Earn With Lottoshi! on: January 09, 2020, 09:35:00 AM
Is this the price? https://etherscan.io/address/0x3582f0e90a11d1e021b48e70421770a063cc9e57   $143,519?
If no, where is it stored(smart-contract)? And how much is is it worth? Hope you include where the price is stored for the sake of transparency.
4253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quick Survey: why do you specifically use crypto to gambooool ? on: January 09, 2020, 08:50:11 AM
I guess many choose crypto for the anonymity/pseudo anonymity it offers. Crypto-gambling also tends to attract people who are already familiar with crypto.     International gambling owners probably find cryptocurrency payment better & easier to integrate into their sites. And crypto is quite easy to get and use worldwide. Provable fair is an important factor too.
4254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: January 09, 2020, 08:12:36 AM
Many gamblers are gambling because they want easy money and that is the truth. They are willing to spend many many money just to win in gambling. I can't say that they are stupid because that is their decision but I think they are just addicted into it that they will sacrifice everything for the sake of money.

If you are asking if it is the main purpose, many will say yes including me. Some are saying that it is for fun. Yes it can be but there are many ways to enjoy why you spend many money and go gambling Cheesy.
Most of us is playing gamble games for us to gain money or get more money because some of us plays gamble in an easy way or born to be a gambler. Yes I cannot say that they are not correct because I can say myself that I get more money in gambling and it becomes one of my source of income nowadays.

You think there people who are born gamblers?  Well, If people are born risk-takers, it's possible that some are born gamblers. Besides, taking risk = gambling (in my opinion).
However, such gamblers will most likely be skill-based gamblers. If anyone succeeds as luck-based gambler, that person probably knows something the world doesn't know.
4255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Altcoin Shilling on: January 09, 2020, 07:47:44 AM
I noticed that too. It likely shilling.  They are quite obvious, and the whole thing is craftily put together. I guess it's working for them otherwise they would have stopped it long ago. They do that mostly with newbies and junior accounts

4256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us on: January 08, 2020, 09:21:35 PM
Yes and interestingly some of them appear completely legit just like Miracletele that claim to be the one and the only blockchain based telecom operator in the world with bi-weekly profit sharing and community believed it untill it collapsed few months ago as the amount of funds going out exceeded incoming funds and thus they stopped paying confirming the ponzi model of the project.

I guess it's this site: https://www.miracletele.com ?

The site is down by the way... And it has a Twitter page too https://mobile.twitter.com/miracletelecom?lang=en
The name sounds deceptive (Miracle Telecom). .. people still patronize it anyway.

4257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever tried contract trading? on: January 08, 2020, 02:48:44 PM
Maybe you can try the simulation trading first,I don't think it's that complicated. You can experience simulation contract trading without any cost.
I found there was a exchange has launched ETH / SUSDT, EOS / SUSDT, SBTC / USD and BTC / SUSDT simulation trading pairs.

https://www.bitget.cc/en/

Is this like a normal crypto demo trading ? What does the  capital S represent, by the way? Stimulated?  This is probably my first time of seeing the website. Unfortunately, I won't try it yet until am sure it is safe to use.
Meanwhile, I have bookmarked it for possible use in the future.
4258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Public vs. Private Blockchain, which is better? on: January 08, 2020, 01:40:45 PM
Why have a private Blockchain when you can just build a very fast centralized system that behaves/resembles a Blockchain?
I'm really not sure if a private Blockchain makes sense. Blockchain is Blockchain in my opinion. What makes Blockchain unique and valuable is it's original characteristics.
4259  Other / Off-topic / It's surprising that not even a single person is preaching peace anywhere on: January 08, 2020, 01:11:06 PM
How did we become so blood thirsty?

Even "christians" who should be discouraging war are mute, or supporting a war.
Earth/societies were destroyed in the past when humans became completely wicked.
We are nearing being "completely wicked" today

GOD judges the sinners...
It is written that HE hardens the heart of people to get them to destroy each other and wipe them out of the face of the earth.

Pre-flood world:
"And GOD saw that the wickedness of man
was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."

 — Genesis 6:5

Present :
The lawless one(fake jesus) will rise in the time of choas:
"In the latter part of their reign, when rebels(sinners) have become completely wicked, a fierce-looking king, a master of intrigue, will arise. He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people." —Daniel 8:23-24

✴Note that fake jesus has been born already. He is currently growing up. No one seems to know about this.

4260  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptoskill - Realtime multiplayer Rock Paper Scissors on: January 08, 2020, 08:45:34 AM
Rock Paper Scissors sounds like a game I watched kids play on youtube with their hands.  Who is this targeted at by the way? Adult or kids? Will adults even like it? In my opinion, it could attract lots of kids and get them addicted... A bad idea if this's targeted at them. I guess you'll have to demand for personal identity for aqe qualifications before allowing anyone to play.
Are you out of your mind? Asking personal identity before you would able to play? that isnt the thing that most gamblers do like here on crypto.
If there are verifications or inputs on what would be their age then it can be simply bypassed yet this cant really be stopped minors if they wanted to play.
Of course this doesnt target kids but adults on this kind of game.

You think it's not a good idea?

Well, i think it will eventually be necessary to bring the age verification things into Crypto-gambling world. Kids are normally not allowed to gamble in most places (even with the anonymity of fiats) for good . They usually act on impulses and can get easily addicted. Hopefully, the gambling world could find a way around this without compromising on anonymity
