4241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Asset Insurance on: August 21, 2020, 01:06:25 PM
Other than that how you can also claim the benefit of insurance if for example you need it ,is there  office available  for every country?

I heard many scam business in insurance the fact is many company use the insurance thing to benefit from persons that want to have it. It is good if you have it especially the time like this. The bad things about insurance is many company is only looking for money not to help people.

Insurance works only if it has the license from the government or jurisdiction of the exchange,,, this is how it works in Japanese crypto exchanges where actually the law forces an exchange to sign up and pay for insurance that is recognized by the government.

Same as bank insurance (but that is normally insured by government).
4242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: August 21, 2020, 11:58:35 AM
6% profit in 2 months on doge is very nice, I experienced about the same (maybe more actually, but since I keep divesting I cannot really keep track haha) for Bitcoin. It is the only crypto I invest,,,

As they say, though, long term is important!
4243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 21, 2020, 11:15:56 AM
o.O ooooh, Couple of days ago there were reports about Ronaldo asking the club to sign his former teammate Benzema. It would be a good option given the form Benzema is in right now. But does Pirlo want him?

Right now according to Di Marzio, Edin Dzeko is the favourite in Pirlo's list.

Di Marzio knows nothing about Juventus.

He has a great trust in the community but he knows nothing, only after a few hours before the announcement of Pirlo, 2 hours earlier he was tweeting about Inzaghi or Pochettino, can't remember which one as the only option...

The president said we want to make a younger Juventus now so for that I think they will never take Dzeko but hey anything can happen you know.

Second time in one week he gets something big wrong,,, I think even your observations for Calcio news is much more reliable, I wonder if his boss cuts his salary every time he is wrong;)

Younger Juventus could mean one old guy + 2 very young guys. I read Bayern had average first squad of 28 years and that was already a BIG improvement from last year (above 30!).
4244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 21, 2020, 10:11:59 AM
The pool is turning into a high stakes one,,, and I know it is a small amount for most people but I would prefer we kept the old btc fee,,, especially because many of us like me we do play this because we think it is fun to join, but at the same time we kind of know more of you are a bit more "expert" than us. Like I play poker knowing I most likely lose because I do not have the same "skill".

I still want to join the Champions League one as I find I am better in that one, but if I join both next season it will be almost 0.01 btc so I have to choose, this one will be very competitive!

Still making up my mind.
4245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com - MCO Visa cards on: August 21, 2020, 08:15:43 AM
I keep getting emails from Crypto.com actually,,, about 50% off offers and all that but you have to stake a lot of CRO which of course I cannot afford, has anyone actually taken advantage of this and do you really get half price of Bitcoin or whatever they sell? sounds too good to be true.
4246  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lamborghini Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: August 20, 2020, 11:44:28 AM
Nice promo going on with DOTA,,, usually we see the earn bonus feature for every goal scored by team in football or every 3-pointer in basketball,,, never seen a similar one for DOTA earning for every buy! Good luck to those playing, reminds me of childhood;)
4247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best deFI tokens out there on: August 20, 2020, 11:06:41 AM
in my opinion chainlink still become the best defi project my friend

You and all the shillers out there, who probably do not even really use chainlink as much as you have invested/speculated in the token;) Sorry no offence but I do not like when people just say IMO the best and then provide no reason whatsover.

Chainlink is one of the most successful projects at the moment and I am very surprised by the current value of this coin. I think with the current investment trends, investors will feel more interested in choosing to invest and this will certainly be one of the most successful Defi projects this year. I bought this coin a few months ago and am still holding it because it is still possible to reach new ATH.

Same goes for you. Four lines and three sentences,,, but you fail to explain WHY you think it is good and WHY you think it will reach a new ATH. Belief and hope do nothing. Could you give me or anyone a good reason or even a bad one for your decision on Chainlink?
4248  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it necessary to create an ANN thread? on: August 20, 2020, 09:51:36 AM
Yes and no in my opinion.

IT really depends about what you think is a good strategy for you, for many casinos, especially licensed ones, maybe crypto users and especially the ones from this forum do not even qualify to play on their sites. And you want people with credit cards etc to play there, even if you accept crypto.

But if you are only a crypto casino then you want a presence on the forum. But be ready to be responsive and transparent, because this forum is so active and people will come and talk and challenge you:)
4249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: any sportbooks support LN on: August 20, 2020, 07:32:32 AM
Nice finds Maus but I guess those are just lightning app games,,, not sportsbooks as requested.

I think if we all go to the gambling dapps like TRON we could convince them to move to Bitcoin back and try LN,,, but the tricky one is Sportsbooks, that would be very interesting to see how it works.
4250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 DeFi projects on: August 20, 2020, 05:52:12 AM
No doubt about that. But the site seems to be followed by most users. Actually yam is a good project, but the consequence of their error made a lot of money losses. If only they were able to secure codes properly then this would not happened. What Im not sure if the error is really an error or a planned act to exit from the very start but if it is. Then lucky guys for ripping too much money.

What made yam a good project? Memecoin? Funny? The fact that they made a smart contract without auditing it should remind everybody that most of these projects are led by people who do not know enough and think they are smart,,, and then we make them even better by going for their new projects. Truly the hype era is back.
4251  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day! 🤑🤑🤑 on: August 20, 2020, 05:06:31 AM
There is enough money to be made from champions league itself that you would not need to worry about any type of promotion and still make a ton of profit if you are right. Also I have moved to NBA, there is tons of games each day and so far there has been some weird results like Orlando beating Bucks and Blazers beating Lakers, they were 8th seed!

So, I think it is easy to say that there is a ton of gambling to be made from the NBA games as well, I know not everyone is a basketball fan but I do not like to watch football that much yet I still wager on them, so you do not even have to enjoy it to wager, you just need to do your research a bit but in the end the better team is usually more obvious one. I guess I will continue with that until finals and the regular season of football will be back soon.

That is what sets them apart I guess though, from all the others. They are not making promotions to make more but to keep progressing and keep the momentum no matter what. Kind of like how all the best sports teams are, making good progress but never wanting to let go.

NBA people are telling me also have good upsets now but every time I check the odds are never so big rarely even see 4x or 5x. Too close for my liking:)
4252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: YAM - hot topic on twitter : What do you think? on: August 20, 2020, 03:58:49 AM
Heh,,, so strange to read things like this that they are actually only NOW hiring people for Audit and that too also through Gitcoin. Like, come on guys,,, do you not need to do these things FIRST in the earlier instance? Shows us all who these guys are and what these guys do. And still people go in.
4253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 19, 2020, 01:35:10 PM
Manchester United want as many as four Barcelona players: Ousmane Dembele, Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti.
After losing out on David Silva, Lazio are now turning their attention to James Rodriguez.
Bayer Leverkusen expects a lot of money for Kai Havert, around 100m euros.
Is the question of the new Barcelona coach really resolved?
''Although it seems that Ronald Koeman will become the next Barcelona coach, other names were discussed at Monday's meeting. According to RA1, Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta, Eusebio Sacristan and Thierry Henry were all mentioned''.

Hmm,,, strange if all those players go to United. Pogba, Fernandez and plus those guys, how would they fit into the system? Old guys too slow for La Liga want to go to Premier League??

Koeman for Barca? What happened to Poch, thought he was the guy earmarked for it already.
4254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH still going higher as our anticipatiion on: August 19, 2020, 01:02:20 PM
Aaaaand when people like you post about going up, it goes down heheh,,,, but I think this was caused more by Bitcoin's flash crash so I think everything will recover again when Bitcoin goes back above $12k.

Strange for ETH to still fall like this though. Above $410 still,,, so holders still hope.
4255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin casinos to surge in German market? on: August 19, 2020, 11:40:28 AM
It would be a nice change to see some casinos with licenses actually open up to having a new online license from a country like Germany instead of all the usual offshore suspects,,, but in the end, governments must realize they cannot restrict crypto casinos and this is what is really leading to the re-regulations in Germany. If you cannot beat them, join them, right?
4256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sports Industry taking over the Crypto space on: August 19, 2020, 11:06:47 AM
Anyone here heard about Chilliz and the partnerships they have been signing recently. I beleive the sport industry is going to take over the crypto space sooner or later because i see a great movement in what they are building. They have signed partnership with so many big Footbal clubs and i am so excited with what they are building.

Yep, heard about them because they sort of sponsored something for Juventus and other big clubs even Barcelona I believe but it does not seem to be a big sponsorship because I hardly or never saw their brand name during any matches.

Sports is definitely big we all saw how the gambling and crypto industry took a hit when sports was paused!
4257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chainlink is a shitcoin and will dump to zero on: August 19, 2020, 09:13:16 AM
You know,,, you are probably actually HELPING them to stay up by talking about them right? I agree they are a shitcoin, with better marketing and better utility than most others, but nevertheless a cleverly disguised shitcoin;)

But talking about them more with big titles like this? HELPS them.
4258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is all about Hodling. on: August 19, 2020, 05:44:56 AM
Hodling is not true to most of alts available in the market. Maybe it is applicable to btc or eth or other established alts, but most of the alts/tokens, I don't think it is smart to hodl them. Because most of them will be abandoned by their respective developers.

Short-term trading is also one good option to earn profit. If you know what you are doing in trading, you can earn a lot more on this type of trading rather than long term hodling. But yes, cryptocurrency is not all about hodling. Because if you will follow this, you will end up hodling worthless tokens and coins, and regretting that you didn't sell it early.

Yes,,, I would have to disagree that it is all about hodling. For sure most speculation is about that, or pump and dump, one extreme or the other,,, but crypto is actually all about using. If everybody holds then you end up with stupid coins like StrongHands where everybody loses to the smart dumper.

I thought they fixed the hot wallet issue already actually,,, I mean I also had a few long waits in the past right after the big win in May or June (or was it longer than that?) but for my most recent withdrawal it was immediate so I thought it was fixed.

Admin did say recently they would check every 12 hours though to manually process so we just need to wait I guess.
4260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 18, 2020, 03:51:45 PM
I agree on some points that gambling sites must practise ethical and responsible attitudes, but I think the FAQ and the Terms of Services already have a law against underage gambling so if people choose to ignore that,,, what can casinos do? Asking everybody to KYC for account creation is EXPENSIVE and even exchanges who are rich do not do this.
