4261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: December 01, 2020, 11:26:59 PM
Just really happy to hear that, mate..  Wink

Actually, Bitcoin and also cryptocurrency are also very developed in my country. Although it is only a small introduction about BTC and crypto to formal education, but at least, there are many webinars and also course offered about crypto and specifically BTC on some campus. They seem likely to make partnership and also works with some crypto enthusiasts, communities, and also exchanges in order to hold several courses, webinars, and also communities about cryptocurrency. It is very different from what happened in 2018. The condition right now is that many people and institutions have been already open to the existence of the crypto world. And I am sure that this is a very great development of crypto. And I also believe that this is not only in my country but in many more countries, there will be many more acceptances of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. It is a matter of time.

This may be called our readiness and unpreparedness for the bounty results. Are we ready to accept the gift or readiness not to accept the prize? Trouble after mistake might occur when you become a bounty hunter. however, at least it would be great if we learn from these mistakes, how to choose a bounty, and the project. So that we will not accept a similar incident, namely work for free.

4264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: November 28, 2020, 07:24:03 AM
The gas fee is always changing. I ever spend around almost $3 only to transfer a few amounts of ERC2- tokens. But this is okay as long as the result that I have is good enough and it can cover the transaction. However, if it is about a limited amount to transfer, well, it may be very sad to know the fee is bigger than what we want to transfer  Grin Grin

If there is a chance to transfer when the fee is low, it is the best time to transfer. I commonly will check https://ethgasstation.info/ regularly if going to transfer such amount of token so that I don't miss the chance to get a lower fee if any  Cheesy
4265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: US people are buying LTC while the other world is avoiding it on: November 28, 2020, 07:03:15 AM
I'm still thinking of the relation between the title and the content of your post. Well, so, it is about people worldwide or the US people? And it is about US people purchasing or worldwide people must purchase? And why do the US people are purchasing?

However, I think that it will not happen with your calculation. No one will order it for all people in the world. if it is only a parable, I think it still doesn't make sense. If all people in the world should buy crypto, they will prefer to spend their coin for BTC. But this is only my opinion.
4266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The dangers of buying bitcoin thru Paypal - real life example on: November 28, 2020, 06:47:57 AM
In any case though be reminded, "Not your keys, not your coins". So anytime this centralised services can either ban you or selectively close your account, and not good if you have some funds on it.
I already read about it and wait for the conference or confirmation from PayPal because we don't really know the exact problems or there may be any other problems.
But in PayPal itself, we don't only have that key, but also we cannot withdraw the funds in cryptocurrency. The feature is still not available to withdraw our crypto there. So, it means that if we want to move the crypto, we must change it into Paypal again or other fiat currencies. Well, lets; see how the development and progress of this PayPal later
4267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin to buy now on discount? on: November 27, 2020, 11:59:18 PM
Hi guys, what is a good altcoin to buy now that we are having a correction? Seems like a good discount.
Actually, it is a simple question, but in fact, it may be difficult to pick because you may find many answers from the members. but personally, we all agree that Etherum is the best altcoin to buy.
More, you can try to analyze some altcoins such as LINK as the Defi project coin that will probably give you a big chance to profit.
But, there are actually some other favorite altcoins such as XRP and also DOT ..
4268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow a trading process. on: November 27, 2020, 11:49:34 PM
If it is about the beginner trader, it will not only those two P, but it is also important to think about one "R", that is RISK.
In trading, we do not only pay attention to the process, and also profits, attention to the risk is also important. First, the basic thing to know about trading is its profit and risks. based on those two basic things, it will drive us to decide what kind of process it will be. The process will really determine the result both profit or even the risk of losing our funds.

No need to tell that to those experienced traders.
You are right, this idea will not impact professional traders because they know more than it. They probably know that trading is not only about it. This idea may be too general for them and also actually for me. I am not a good trader, but I also know that I need the process to be good enough. But here, probably what kind of strategy and also analysis that will help us in the process to get profits or even to Los something.
4269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for calling Bitcoin scam on: November 27, 2020, 11:38:11 PM
Maybe the real reason is that they don't really understand Bitcoin and they believe more in the bad issues that Bitcoin is blowing. Or perhaps their experience was bitter with Bitcoin for the first time. either they are exposed to the platform scam or lost in trading. This can also happen and spark someone's thinking about Bitcoin is a scam.

 1.   Maybe because it's not visible, some people believe in what they can see , feel and touch ,
For this, if we have already been usual with investment, it will not matter because there are also some digital investments. And if they still do not believe because it is not visible and touchable, I really feel pity for them, because they may be lack of technology.
4270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency for Trading on: November 27, 2020, 11:32:44 PM
First, let's first equate the meaning of passive income.
Quote
Passive income is money earned on an investment, or work completed in the past, that continues to make money without any additional effort.

taken from Passive Income Vs. Active Income (A Beginner’s Guide)

If the crypto is used for trading, doesn't that mean that we still have some effort to get involved in it? And that can't be said as passive income, can it? This is more about active income.
On the other hand, if we make cryptocurrency assets for long-term investment, maybe we can consider it as passive income. because we only put our funds and we may not need to try too much to get involved. just monitor it and see how our portfolio is.

So, how about this?

I also believe that interest in cryptocurrencies has grown significantly during the pandemic. because of that, many new people have entered this crypto world. Like the people around me, some of them have started learning to trade and investing in basics first. This is good. but it also needs attention for beginners to be careful when they want to trade in cryptocurrency.
4271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best Free and VIP (paid) predictions by Mica Service⚽️🎾🏀 on: November 26, 2020, 11:58:22 PM
Wouldn't it be better if you provided a link or proof of a successful prediction? It's like a free signal / VIP trading signal. promote it and organize via telegram. Where maybe that strategy can make us win, but of course it's not free and often loses too. Then, what makes us believe that what we give can make your win and your predictions really happen? Isn't this some sort of obscure thing?
4272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 26, 2020, 11:48:00 PM
Actually, it is not me if going to a gambling site and everything about gambling. The reason why I got into the gambling world is that the minimal requirements when I should post on the gambling board in this forum. maybe this is for connection, but it is connected for me. from that seems that started enjoying the discussion and also information and updates about gambling. So many gambling sites are there. And see what happened, just tried a moment following other activities in gambling in a certain site and I lost.
And it can be a very precious lesson for us. Never only follow others when gambling, because if you know nothing and you get into that gambling, you are likely only give free money to the house, except we are a big luck person.  Grin Grin
4273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 26, 2020, 11:36:41 PM
This is a big election where it also became a big field of betting. It is not only in online betting but also offline betting. They were betting to know the winner of the election. This is interesting because it is an election of a big country in the world. Where the decision of the election will really influence the decision to the world. Additionally, we can see many people are betting with a very big amount of money. And the result? it has been clearly accepted that Biden is the winner. I really think how the gambler that is willing Trump to be president again. They lost the betting.
4274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why make New Crypto Exchanges on: November 26, 2020, 11:31:19 PM
Because that is business where it can earn money to them. In fact, sometimes, we also like new exchanges (especially local exchanges) that give much easier than the previous one. And I don't mind if the exchanges are really good enough, providing lower fees, easy trading features, and also of course about trust. As long as it is not a scam and it can really give better exchanges, why not? I believe that every new exchange must have thei9r own positive sides in order to be able to attract users. however, if it is only about that kind of usual exchange without any better features and benefits, I think it will be only ended as shit exchanges.
That is why this is our case, should be more and more careful when going to use a new exchange, not only about the hype of the exchange but really how we analyze the exchange carefully.

..snip..
That's right. A big exchange comes from zero also, and they are also ever a new exchange at that time. Moreover, right now, Binance also supports some new exchanges in several countries, it makes sense.
4275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you scared? on: November 26, 2020, 11:19:38 PM
I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions or their daily activities even when it faster and easier they still not accept or permit it to there life, they still don’t prefer using it,
There are some probabilities of how this may happen:

1. They really do not want to use Bitcoin for any condition because they think that BTC is high risks and volatility. As you said, it may depend on each individual who thinks about it. But there is also the probability.

2. It relates not to personal reasons, but because countries still do not legalize Bitcoin as a currency or payment. The use of BTC is commonly related to the use of its for payment. But in some countries, there is a law that we cannot use it for payment, it may be only for the digital asset or even not both. In this case, this makes us not using BTC, only for digital assets.

3. Lack of support. Sometimes, we want to use it, but there is no commerce or shop that accepts BTC as a payment method around us. And it may be very common and also important to know what commerce or products really accept BTC

1. Mempunyai Media Sosial Yang Sangat Banyak

4277  Local / Topik Lainnya / Re: Kesalahan Umum Yang Dapat Menghilangkan Crypto Yang Anda Miliki on: November 25, 2020, 11:52:09 PM

4278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Lived In London While Working On Bitcoin + proof on: November 25, 2020, 11:24:57 PM
Although there are many such kinds of proofs about it, we can't still admit that the person that you are talking about is the real "Satoshi Nakamoto'. Whether it is true or not, in fact, Satoshi is not willing to discover. So, we will not know about him forever. He has convinced himself to remain anonymous regarding this. And we don't know whether he is 1 person or more than 1 person. And the location used does not necessarily imply that he lives there.
4279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 24, 2020, 11:56:15 PM
It will probably happen if Bitcoin is accepted in many more countries and also common as the means of payment. Well, so far, not all casinos accept BTC and cryptocurrency as the means of payment. Some online casinos do that. The problem is not only by their readiness to accept that payment and mechanism. Moreover, it is about the volatility of the Bitcoin price. And now, not all of the offline gambling players are usual for Bitcoin and crypto. this may make sense
4280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Argentina raises Gambling tax on: November 24, 2020, 11:45:03 PM
First, is the tax for the gambling industry (home book) or for their citizen who plays gambling?
Actually, 5% is still a small tx percentage of the country for the gambling industry. There are still many countries that give very high taxes on gambling. Moreover, it is up to more than 80%, it is crazy, isn't it?
Like what we can see here:
The Ultimate Guide to Gambling Tax Rates Around the World
The Highest And Lowest Gambling Taxes Around The World

However, I know that it is about 5% in Argentina where at first there is exactly tax existed, but maybe it is different because it is for online tax?
Quote
Argentina had provided a haven for online gamblers up until very recently with its tax-free winnings legislation. That’s all set to change with a 15 percent gross income and a 2 percent fee being considered.
