4261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long does it need to confirm a transaction on: September 02, 2020, 08:33:53 PM
i use electrum wallet and set 61.7 sat/b but i think it must be there till now. i dont have any money on my wallet so i think i cant do rbf. how long do you think its gonna take?
It is 91 sat/byte even for 25 block transaction in electrum so I guess it will take a day or more for the transaction to get confirmed.Next time better use the recommended fee which is available even in eletrum wallet as well.Or if you want to speed the transaction then you need to send some money to your electrum and have to replace the fee with high sats.
4262  Economy / Speculation / Re: There Bitcoin goes again. on: September 02, 2020, 07:22:15 PM
On the march to 11K now but not really a dump I guess, just a daily swing in my opinion so don't get panic and start selling just buy more or just keep holding if you don't want to see the price in red again.

Bitcoin will go to moon soon.....
4263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: September 02, 2020, 05:59:31 PM
I really appreciate your effort, but for anyone to understand about bitcoin it is important to give basic knowledge about blockchain.Better teach them on other ways than for earning purpose or else more people will get trapped for the scams which is quite common in recent times.
4264  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it time to think of cash and bank deposits as different currencies? on: September 01, 2020, 05:56:18 PM

People who deposited large amount of cash in their bank accounts are not really smart enough to understand about these things in my opinion, I guess they are doing it just because of usage purpose because banks are not user friendly with their payments to be honest,so of they have they can use it in the way they want and also another reason could to for buying gold.
4265  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time when the stock market crashes, Bitcoin will go to moon! on: September 01, 2020, 04:06:01 PM
Not completely but there will be some transfer of the total marketcap from stocks into the cryptos especially the one who cashed out in February 2020 because now they can buy the same amount of stocks with the profits itself and can invest the remaining on cryptos...
4266  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "Signature Campaign" does work for marketing? on: September 01, 2020, 02:59:08 PM
I will share my honest POV as a member.
I can be easily distracted with a signature that has a contrast color.
when I see those colors, I automatically read the signature.
if the information in the signature sounds interesting to me, I will definitely open the link.
I also googled their bitcointalk thread after I saw the signature.

so in my opinion, it works. but depend on the interest of the viewer, and your "click bait"  Grin
But most of them will get annoyed if there is lot of contrast in it, so the signature design should be perfect if they want to make the people to look at it, but these are just secondary. The important is hiring the participants if someone is posting on threads which get more views then it is capable of bringing more attention to the project.
4267  Other / Meta / Re: Do I have a chance to recover my account? on: August 30, 2020, 04:55:05 PM

‏It is true that I made a mistake in the beginning by creating many accounts and was not familiar with the forum rules. But after seeing a set of rules, ‏I created this account and started working again and made an effort to create constructive posts.
This my problem: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2613277.msg55071659#msg55071659
User: ulven
And if it is not possible, can I start working here again? or will I be banned forever.
Forum doesn't restrict you from creating multiple accounts but if one of your account got banned then you are not allowed to use any of your account as per the forum rules.

Literally you are not allowed yo create new one,it will be considered as ban evasion and that account also will be banned when you caught.
4268  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Localbitcoins] Additional verification no longer required for 6 countries. on: August 30, 2020, 02:17:13 PM
I have been using LBC than completely decentralized p2p platform because as an advertiser on LBC I feel comfortable while trading with verified accounts but for someone who don't want to reveal their personal details just for few conversion should use the alternative like localcryptos but some countries don't have any volume so they should go for paxful or LBC if they very unlucky.
I am pretty sure countries that were affected have had traders migrate to alternative platforms so the volumes could be pretty decent in the alternative platforms like Localcryptos as compared to Localbitcoins as of today.

I still don't understand why they had to introduce very strict verification procedures only to relax them for some countries. Maybe they have realized that the popularity is going down the drain as the exodus of traders continues.
Probably LBC lost most of its customers from those countries list but the price also might get premium if there are not many alternative platforms there so there are chances for the traders to come back again but not going to get all the lost customers.

Verification procedures are coming under the regulation of it country, so countries in that list may have laws which go against cryptos that is why they temporarily stopped their service but it took very long time to resume back as before.
4269  Other / Meta / Re: Unjustified ban on: August 30, 2020, 12:03:40 PM
OP can you say what is exactly shown on your login page?

Like "your account has bee banned permanently/temporarily" or " your account has been locked"

Which one is showing to you?
4270  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Localbitcoins] Additional verification no longer required for 6 countries. on: August 29, 2020, 05:34:47 PM
I guess almost every user from those countries deleted their LBC account to get the remaining balance on their wallet!
Hopefully many of them found alternative platforms and won't return to LocalBitcoins. There are far better actually decentralized and actually peer-to-peer exchanges out there which don't require KYC - Bisq, Hodl Hodl, LocalCryptos, for example. The only good reason to use LocalBitcoins is because, unfortunately, it came first so still has more volume than these better solutions in some countries.

4271  Other / Meta / Re: Ponzi schemes listed in Scam Accusations are they needed? on: August 29, 2020, 03:45:31 PM
Reporting should be done by the crypto community to save people from falling for such shits but what can be the instant reaction to such blatant ponzi schemes, what if they are more tricky with their investment schemes so we need to report every kind of scam into the scam accusation section for sure or better else have a child board for it.
4272  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Localbitcoins] Additional verification no longer required for 6 countries. on: August 29, 2020, 02:24:43 PM
I guess almost every user from those countries deleted their LBC account to get the remaining balance on their wallet! Seems they are slow with every kind of processing, they didn't even update their terms and policies but send email to the users but you can't consider this as official until there is an update in their terms.
4273  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy will continue to recover - Powell on: August 28, 2020, 06:42:01 PM
This is not really a recovery, thry are just trying to float the market with lot of money so they can bring economic activities back but the unemployment is still high in US and all these things are done because the election is getting nearer so Trump is trying to show he is doing everything which helps their nationality over immigrants which might give him support as well.
4274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best platform for quickly purchasing bitcoin? on: August 28, 2020, 04:13:21 PM
The fastest way to buy Bitcoin without KYC is recommended through P2P platforms, but if you have any doubts you can
use DEX exchanges. Still uncomfortable and hesitant about using DEX exchanges as well, the last alternative could be using
a Bitcoin ATM. Although many say using a Bitcoin ATM has a large fee, but as long as you are comfortable and do not have
a problem with the fees that must be paid, I think using a Bitcoin ATM is a great option for buying Bitcoin.
Is there any decentralized exchange support crypto to fiat transaction?

On DEX even tokens from different blockchain is not convertible! Correct me if I am wrong guys.
4275  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Google to switch PH BPO partner following online scam (and mentions Bitcoin) on: August 28, 2020, 01:56:13 PM
I bet that these 3 employees are instantly rich by now, but it was not stated that their Bitcoins have been "seized" by the authorities just yet.
How can you call them rich when they are criminal? And they are caught isn't it, so I'm sure the authorities are going to get back that bitcoins.
It may not be easier to get them now on a country like Phillipines because basically it is a country combined thousands of Islands and also the laws and administration might be differ, correct me if I am wrong. When you got the money then you can bribe anyone to hide your identity and live as someone else for sure.
But they have been identified isn't it? So how it is hard for the government to track them down? Bribe who? And the money that they have stolen couldn't even last them for years specially if they keep on bribing people around them. And besides, Sykes won't go into public if they don't have the employees in their hands.
They identified the persons I guess that is why they said 3 employees, as I said it is made up of Islands so it is hard to keep all the places under surveillance and also it is easy to escape to neighboring countries too easily.60Million is not a small amount and even whole life may not be enough to spend them on developing countries.
4276  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Breaking down the anatomy of a fake giveaway scam on: August 28, 2020, 12:23:36 PM
snip~
I think you miss my point here, it is not about being greedy, it's about seeing personalities like Elon Musk and trusting them with their own money. And I also do believed that experience people can still fall for it specially seeing the image of Musk supposedly promoting it, that's why it's called trust scam trading.

Anyone with common sense will have a question to them when they see such kind of promotions, which is Why they should give us free money? If they really wanted then why they are asking for some amount to double it!

As I said twitter hack caused millions to lose because the tweet was from his official account but on Youtube random channel with loop video of something related to Youtbe should not be given that much attention!
4277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with no KYC verification on: August 27, 2020, 04:45:22 PM
...Do you guys have any idea how to do this.

You need to use P2P, many of which allow you to trade without passing KYC. In this thread you will find a list of services that will help you buy bitcoin without passing verification: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5180421.0
You will not be able to buy bitcoin on the cryptocurrency exchange for Fiat without passing KYC.
There are some p2p exchange which is not having KYC requirements at the moment but they only prefer bank transfer as far as I know so for credit card or Paypal there will be KYC for sure no matter what exchange you are going to use.
4278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin with no KYC verification on: August 27, 2020, 02:03:56 PM
Hi guys, I'm looking for a safe way to buy Bitcoin or any Altcoin with USD (Fiat) using Credit Card or Paypal without any ID verification. Do you guys have any idea how to do this.
Use Currency exchange section. Smiley

But still chances are less for you because newbie can charge back once they received bitcoins so people here only trade with trusted members when they are going to deal with Paypal like payment methods.
4279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Money stolen from blockchain.com on: August 27, 2020, 12:42:27 PM
One more lesson why we shouldn't use blockchain.com like wallets for storing bitcoin. OP you lost it someone who infected your device with malware.

Did you downloaded any apps from third-party websites? If yes then better restore your device after backing up all the important data in it and in future electrum like wallet for storing bitcoins.
4280  Other / Meta / Re: Please help restore the account on: August 27, 2020, 11:42:51 AM
Probably plagiarism and it will be a perma ban so it time for you to say Good bye to the forum.

If you relied that much on forum income then why didn'y you gave the right effort?! But sorry to say that emotional stories won't get your account back.
