Я считаю если закупаться коробом, то можно брать самый дешман из 5600, но с 3х летней гарантией, чтобы вернуть.
Систему охлаждения придется снимать или вытащить коннектор питания вентиляторов из платы?
колдкейс на 6 карт в максималке 8700 + 250 доставка вроде как. чо будет по факту - скажу, пока жду. охлад остается, кулера в одну сторону, бэкплейты в другую, вертухи руками на минималку или вырубить физически, пока хз, надо щупать. плюсы однозначно в компактности и удобстве отвода тепла. у меня скоро появляется помещение с хорошей розеткой, но маленькое по площади. можно заморочиться и сделать колпаки под гофру, тогда вообще красиво получится с отводом. тоже думал за дешманские карты. причем возможно и из 5700х. возможен и такой вариант, но нужно смотреть какая память и сколько жрут после прошивки. пока только прикидываю, жду тестов. с другой стороны, FP91G тоже правильно подметил, что доплатив 2-3к можно взять сапфиры на самсунге и не париться за коробку. если твое помещение не сартир метр на полтора  то затарится нужно такими видеокартами, которые не греются. 26тысяч за 5600 хт и 44 мх или 45 тысяч за 5700хт и 54 мх. 5700хт горячие, желательно отдельное питание на каждый рейзер, что невыполнимо для старых БП. 5600 хт вчера быстро подорожали, от 30 тысяч  |

For gamers the 1070 was probably the best of the 10xx series cards, but for miners the 1070 has been a dud. The 1060 6GB is now hashing about 20% slower for 45% less cost and the 1070Ti is still operating as it originally did. The 1080/1080Ti have only gotten better with age. The 1070 and the 3GB 1060 were the mining duds.
My 1070 video cards show 29-31 mh, for 4 years of mining the hashrate dropped by 1 mx on some cards - these are mainly cards with 8 pin power. Video cards with 8 + 6 pin power supply show 31 mh. Now I don't want to figure out why the total hashrate of the farm fell by 3-4 mh. 1060 6GB show 22.5 mh Good result after 4 years of mining. |

Если Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti также будет гореть с блоками питания как и флагман RTX 3090, то пусть юзают сами.
Майнерам 20 ГБ памяти не требуется. Или они хотят забить ценовой промежуток между 90 тыс за 3080 и 160 тыс за 3090 своим хитрым маркетингом?
Бесполезная ГПУ одним словом.

I can't remember which thread it was in (on of the more recent threads ie last 3 months) but somebody posted a link to the nvidia forums where a dev admitted it was an issue with a driver and that they had no plans to implement a change/fix to the issue. Oddly you don't see the same issue with the 1070Ti which is still hashing like new.
Damn if this how you remember, that would mean the end of 1070Ti passed 4Gb on ethereum if we can't find a driver that doesn't have this issue :-/ Hopefully this problem doesn't occur on Linux so at least we could migrate I think this is the nvidia forum you are referencing : https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/blockchain-drivers/110847/12Thanks for the link. AMD may not be catering to the miners with the new gen cards but at least they came out with the speed decrease workaround within 4 months. Maybe they want miners to stop using the 10xx series and buy more modern video cards On the 20xx series, I have not seen a hash rate drop when mining Ethereum. I consider the 1070 to be the most successful video card from the 10xx series, because it is still relevant today and has a low power consumption. Have you tried in bench mode with height 290 ? In any case, i'm not buying nvidia for my next rig to replace my rigs once they are useless in a few weeks I will probably buy 5600xt to replace my 480 4GB radeons. Nvidia video cards are very expensive and they are not yet well researched in mining. Я тоже видел обсуждение этого софта на линуксе. Покупать нужно дорогую материнскую плату и мощный процессор, много памяти, а гарантий что тебя обеспечат работой никаких.
О каком софте речь? По поводу этих карт - в основном пишут (а здесь почему-то нет этого), что с ними майнер ни один скорее всего работать не будет, так как ни у одного разработчика таких карт даже для тестирования нет. The 3080 has already been tested for a long time. 100-105 mx.
I expect 65-70mx from 3070
I expect from 50 to 60mhs and no more. so sad why 3070 became worthless than 3080 in other side with this efficency 5700 clear win in every way, waiting rx 6000 series come to play will beat 3090 in term memory mining performance with half the price If the PTX 3070 sold in stores for $ 500, I would buy it. 60-64 mh and at 120 watts a good result for $ 500. But I cannot buy this video card for less than $ 770 in stores, and for other models the prices go up to $ 850 |

I have little free memory left on 4GB graphics cards. I switched to another miner on the hive os. I have chosen the latest teamredminer and will watch the hashrate. Hi, I have a 5700 xt and non xt and I set 750mV in bios for all cards. Gpu clocks arround 1300-1400 is working fine.
Any of you have experience lowering voltage under 750mV on this cards?
Could you post vgpu and gpuclock?

I have my cards on 725mV. I have core at 1400 and memory at 1800-1850 depending on cards and brands. From my personal exp., Sapphire Nitro+ are best. Sapphire Nitro video cards have very good memory cooling, so the memory can be overclocked. Samsung memory can operate at a lower voltage than micron memory, but using micron memory overclocks well. These values will have to be adjusted individually after several days of testing. |

там очень много умолчаний было. как я понял, 1080ти круче 2080 за счет объема оперативы. ниже 8гб вообще не войти. за счет чего оптимизация - тоже не скажу. или прослушал или не было.
еще проблема была, что там аренда мощностей была, а рынок пока не сильно загружен. в итоге твоя ферма может работать 2 часа в сутки допустим. а остальное время простаивать. ребята бились над этой оптимизацией - пока ты не в аренде - ты майнишь условный эфир, появилась работа - бросаешь майнить, сдаешься в аренду под ИИ.
по профиту считал. даже если допустить, что у меня спец плата с овердофига оперативы и мощный проц(на ядра тоже завязано) доставщаяся абсолютно бесплатно - на тот момент резона не было даже тишки переставлять, не говоря уж о более слабых картах.

куда ядер меньше, поэтому хешрейт может быть на уровне 5700хт и с таким же потреблением.
интерес отсутствует из за спекуляций на рынке и что делать с 20хх серией при таких ценах.

I have a similar situation, after a few epochs I will not be able to mine with standard miners. The DAG file size will exceed the video card memory size by about 375 epoch |
