4261  Economy / Economics / Re: Top Three Emotions to Check to Succeed! on: November 28, 2019, 01:43:18 AM

Admittedly, I am also struggling. But I guess we really need to control them. What do you think?

I would like to add that we also need these emotions, as they are a great advantage and insight what others are feeling or will feel. We don't just need to act on them.
Understanding the sentiment of the markets can be highly profitable when we can use it to predict market cycles and if the feelings people have are happening because of the news or because of the market trend. When we have these feelings, we can utilize them and have an educated guess when the markets are in the panic, delusional or desperation mode.
4262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take? on: November 28, 2019, 01:32:01 AM
What is your take on the dwindling of the prices of cryptos? What do you think are the factors behind its fluctuation?

Only thing connecting the altcoin price fuctiations is the level of adoption of the bitcoin, it's still new so we are still in the uncharted waters for all of this, but this all is happening in the same circles of small number of people and any moods the crowd have affect on all coins.

Cryptos are hard to understand so there will be a lot of misinformation trying to scare the markets and it's effective, like the positive false rumors/news are affecting highly efective.

What is your percentage (%) backing on crypto investments? How about your investment portfolio, is the return on your investments (ROI) encouraging? What is your advice to crypto investors now?
Let us discuss.

5% of my income goes to cryptos now and overall roi has been insane while there has been devastating losses on this last bear tun. But i have survived and hopefully learned something from this costly lesson. My advice is, look at the big picture, there's much to be learn from the history, so educate yourself and that turns off the fud machine noise.
4263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upbit exchange was hacked. 342,000 ETH lost on: November 28, 2019, 12:28:20 AM
I wonder if they know how did this happen yet? I mean these are such an insane sum and the early days it would have caused insane dumps, today you would have to be really smart criminal to even unload this in anywhere. My guess is that people who steal this kind of sums now are bound to get caught in the future.

Why replenish an already compromised wallet? Hacked wallet balance already - 4.726 ETH

I think they have just some automation left in places.
4264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: November 28, 2019, 12:09:48 AM
1. BTC has dumped.  The 2019 bull is dead.  The 2017 peak will be the ATH for a very long time, like until the next next halving hype cycle, 2023.

If you had been around, this is historically the part where you should buy everything that kept developing trough bear run.

2. Value has gotta move.  It's either shit "stable" $1 coins.  Or "shitcoins".

What's being stable $1? I think you are mixing the terms in here. Dollar value of single shitcoin doesn't mean anything, that's not how the altcoin value is measured.

3. You can't pump stable coins.

What are you even talking about? That's not the point of stablecoins. It does sound like that you have heard the terms but didn't look up what they meant, rendering this whole topic as mixed messages.
4265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Neo's Gas a hidden gem if there's a future altcoin season? on: November 27, 2019, 01:40:43 AM
I honestly don't know much about NEO, I just invested a small amount in it (and gas) as it's in the top 30 according to CMC and is way down from it's ATH although it got pumped recently.

I'm not familiar with dpos so I'm not sure how or why that would impact the chinese market.

I've got to say I like the NEO wallet and how fast and cheap transactions are Smiley

Neo produces GAS, so i am not sure if it's more beneficial in the long run just "stake" NEO because i haven't checked the numbers but i will.
And dpos is just more centralized way to secure the network then for example pure pow model. So there's a possibility that China could try to shut down those nodes if they wanted (if their locations are known to them).
4266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Neo's Gas a hidden gem if there's a future altcoin season? on: November 27, 2019, 12:41:06 AM
First off a disclaimer: I have a small amount of Neo and Gas, (10 and 30 respectively) so I'm far from being a whale  Smiley Grin

What I didn't realise until this morning is the fact that Gas has a circulating supply of 10.1 million and a total supply of 17.1 million yet it currently costs $1.06 USD (down from it's ATH of $106 USD)

Current price seems incredibly cheap given the total supply, any thoughts on whether gas is a good investment/gamble?

Lot's of people shilled gas to me back when it was on top, but with a current market situation you might have a point. I am not fan of neo because i am not a fan of dpos in overall, and that can be a real problem especially for NEO being Chinese.  But as NEO is highly marketable for masses, cool brand and people eat that kind of stuff up the gas price have a good change to rise by speculative investing. I am unsure how will that play out on the larger time frame though.
4267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think? on: November 27, 2019, 12:31:42 AM
I found this interesting article about the current gaming industry on the blockchain, what do you think about the gaming industry currently on the blockchain and do you think it will evolve and have a future? Or is blockchain not really for gaming? If you want to read the article, you can read it on the link below.

On top of that, the blogging platform is a great way to earn crypto for free. You can earn crypto for voting on articles and also for creating content. You can earn DAI and BAT currently but it is a better way than to just do bounties where you have no idea when the token will become live on an exchange. You can sign up through the article. Hope to see you there!

Oh wow, not even mentioning gods unchained that is the biggest there is by a land slide. This kind of selective reporting makes me think that the writer is only shilling the tokens he has.
4268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The new Faketoshi strikes again! on: November 26, 2019, 10:43:28 PM

This guy should be just ignored and forgotten, but somehow some of the crypto media keeps posting about his tweets when even those tweets don't get likes. These are clickbate news in order to sell with outrage effect.
4269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: November 26, 2019, 10:22:47 PM
Yes, I know that there are many coins , and everyone has a favourite. But with the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade close, the move to Proof of Stake and the performance improvements promised , is now the time to get seriously into Ethereum ? I discuss this in the following video , as well as the opportunity it provides :

https://youtu.be/O8gTpGu9D_c

By the way , if you forward to 13:15 I also share my equation for getting Bitcoin at a lower price

Every chart i have drawn makes me believe that, but i see no verification of the bottom yet. On the fundamental point of view, i don't think that eth 2.0 is acting as a catalyst for a long time. So there could be something else starting it. Maybe nft market volume goes parabolic or something like that.

Edit: also you should maybe move this thread under altcoin speculation
4270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Comparing Chainlinks Oracles With Blocknet's Xrouter. on: November 26, 2019, 04:39:47 AM
The current price doesn't really surprise me as this rised fast. I mean it's still 10x in dollars for anyone holding it from -17 before the bullrun. Even that's lot to unload for the markets that don't exist at the moment.
4271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term hodl ! What a joke on: November 26, 2019, 02:58:41 AM
Why do you refuse to face the reality of the present state of the crypto market? I always laugh when I see people still talking about long term hodl when the reality is staring us in the face. Don't be a fool, only the smart are leading the race in the crypto sphere of today. Why do you decide to hodl when you know that the price may dump? Why not sell at the peak and then you can buy back at the bottom. The race is not to the fool but to the wise. Selling at the peak and buying back at bottom is wisdom but holding at the peak expecting a magic spike is foolishness. Bull run is not here yet, do not expect a magic spike. When the bull run is here, you don't need a prophet to tell you that. Be smart.

To be honest, you just sound exactly like someone who came along later and bought on the near top. I've seen how this altcoin crash has played out before and it's pretty arrogant to claim that you have a clue about tops or bottoms after you clearly have bought the top. For all we know markets could do instant 2x from here or be dumped because of news. It's mostly luck, but you can do a lot better by educating yourself.
4272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you have done? on: November 26, 2019, 01:28:36 AM
If 2019 should have been reversed back to 2017, just these once what would decisions will you revert?

Instead of asking what would you do differently if you had a time machine, i think the more relevant question is, what are you going to do now? Because in 2017 you didn't know the future either. This question will be asked again in a couple of years... "what would you do differently if you got back in 2019?" Most of us have no clue how this is panning out, but it will be clear to us later for some reason.
4273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current news in China is just a fud or something more? on: November 25, 2019, 05:26:54 AM
I saw many posts regarding the recent China news or police raid fact. Nothing is real in that case? What's the thing Chinese Gov is going to do in next? Sometime, it seems to me that the Gov is with blockchain, sometimes, they aren't. Feeling confused.

Who knows at this point, we all should have at least one Chinese contact who understands the context of these news because lots of news outlets seems to be biased or lost in translation.
But even if we hear correct news, markets doesn't seem to understand the context (i am referring to last irrational China coin fomo).
4274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is going to be slower ? on: November 25, 2019, 04:08:16 AM
Recently, I noticed that all the platforms are just like pausing launching new IEOs, If you notice top IEOs launcher platforms like Binance, Okex,Kucoin or Huobi, you will see a gap between 1-1.5 months. ICOs, then IEOs, then What next?

I think that regulations will be harsher on next IEO/ICOs sooner or later and i have a feeling that the next big thing will be ntf that could take over as the biggest market share on funding models (least on gaming). Obviously this can't be implemented on all funding models and it might not be even happening on eth platform if the competition finds a scalable solution.
4275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 24, 2019, 11:44:16 PM
Crypto world needs a legit sector or access that will check the project throughly. Their team, legitimacy and process. Not related in government sectors but merely in crypto community which are not under money or not into money. But it seems impossible. But if ever there is some people who will join forces to study and s determine it will be a help to newbies.
In short, regulation.
If there will be a private sector that will be built to filter every crypto project and everything that needs to check in the crypto space, then there will be a proper and standard way of maintaining the needs, the implementation needed, development progress, adoption, and anything else to make crypto a better use not only to old users but including newbies.

So you guys are talking about only icos/sales when you are talking about regulation, or what else do you see that regulation being? Because when i am talking about crypto, i am talking about permissonless transactions, and regulation surely would make those harder. Icos are just a way to fund these projects, and regulations are already catching up with them.

I have to admit that there would be a LOT of less projects that wanted to jump trough all the legal hoops after that.
4276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about BlockV (vee) on: November 24, 2019, 10:35:53 PM
This platform is so interesting and the team is really active in conferences and showrooms around europe.
Is that future ? as we see in movies like Valerian ?
Connection, VR, google VR, gaming , shopping ?

Interesting IMO Grin Cheesy

have a look https://www.blockv.io/industry-retail/

All i see is some stock photos and a pretty dead project that had some sort of insane price spike for no reason at all. And they seem to have promised some sort of technical documentation for a while now but gave nothing in the end.
4277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] CurioInvest - Bringing collectables into the digital world on: November 24, 2019, 10:23:59 PM
I still have a few cur tokens that I got from their  IEO that I participated in last August, do you think I should sell them below the IEO price or continue to hold the curio token until the price can benefit me?
Because I see now the price of CUR tokens is very cheap and even far from their IEO price, do you think there will be a possibility of price increases if the Curios team will register their tokens to a larger exchange such as binance?

So we have actually one who bought from their ieo? Good to know, but why are you asking from us? You are the one that actually bought the ieo so surely you did a research for that and have your own expectations on the value. But my guess is that binance dex is quickly turning to shittoken heaven anyway flooded by pointless projects, so i can see a lot of projects dying slowly while being there.
4278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 24, 2019, 02:02:40 PM
What do you think the crypto world needs at the moment? (I'm talking about projects)

In my opinion there is no real platform/website that offers everything you need. For example, news, some kind of trading tools or indicators, educational program maybe hot articles etc...

More education, but some exchanges are already offering that, and i am pretty sure that Binance has thought about expanding as news site as well, but i am not sure how biased would that be.
4279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is one of the instrument of New World order? on: November 24, 2019, 11:52:34 AM
In the prophesy crypto is one of the instruments to implement the new world order because dollar will lost in the near future. I think we need to start talking about this, Lot of countries are preparing about the new world order and 2/two of all countries are not agree with this implementations and why crypto are involve on this issue?`first because of being losing a dollar currency. and 2 crypto are the best to manipulate the rate of money. What more?

In what prophesy? If we need to talk about this, at least put some reference links into that. But i am guessing that even with a source that would sound like bunch of nonsense like it does now, and i highly doubt it's because of a language barrier.
4280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] CurioInvest - Bringing collectables into the digital world on: November 24, 2019, 11:17:48 AM
Yes indeed, and with that being said, everyone's opinion, comments, and suggestions on this thread have already been forwarded to the team.
I asked the CTO Vladimir Kislinskii about CUR token moving to stellar but I got no answer. But luckily, the CEO Rey Fernando Verboonen answered that it would only be "Just a fraction"? I'm not entirely sure what he meant by that. I'm still waiting for more clarification. Hopefully, they'll respond with a more detailed answer.

If i would speculate with this, i think that it might have something to do with their binance dex plans, as they would have to keep some of them in bep2 tokens.
Still that answer just is more confusing then revealing.
