4261  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunched! 100% deposit bonus. BTC, ETH, LTC DICE betting on: September 12, 2017, 06:13:49 PM
Hi!
should not the amount of BCH be equal to amount of deposited BTC?!
The BCH was liquidated. If you look closely the units are in terms of BTC.
4262  Economy / Gambling / Re: Participate in chess tournament and win bitcoins! on: September 12, 2017, 06:13:05 PM
the first question that comes to mind: how will you determine if a player is not just another chess programme?
this will be a bot fest, you will be lucky if you get a single legit human player there
also the entry fee is very low, wonder what the prizes are going to be
Ilove chess but my ELO is not high enough to participate in such a tourney
lichess covers against chess engines pretty well and considering this is a bullet tournament crappy chess players are going to be forced to set engines to unfavorable conditions (by lowering the depth). Good players will likely premove and still spend less time than engines however due to consistent playing which adds memorization of certain patterns used in tactics.
4263  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bought Account on: September 12, 2017, 06:09:59 PM
What reason would you have to buy an account apart from buying reputation (essentially this is what you are doing), joining signature campaigns on multiple accounts - usually ends up with both posting bullshit, or scamming?
4264  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKE.COM SCAM? on: September 12, 2017, 11:42:20 AM
face the same lagging problem. I don't know why they deploy their business without testing.
Lag is perpetuated by the amount of player traffic. At the start of the site when there weren't as many players betting constantly, the response speed was extremely fast. Only after a significant number of players joined did the server start to stutter.

Right at this timestamp the auto bet kicks in and appears to wager 19 satoshi to a loss but in reality his balance was deducted by 29 satoshi.
https://youtu.be/rUaA0YuqogY?t=52
Here, it bets 36 and appears to have lost but in reality the balance was increased by 6 satoshi.
If OP would unlock his account and let people look at the full bet history then it would be easy to see if this discrepancy originated from Stake or the user.
4266  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 08-Sep-2017] on: September 11, 2017, 11:56:33 PM
What does Y/N means in the escrow column? N is obviously No escrow and Y is obviously yes to escrow. But what is Y/N?

Highlighted the part you should read:

Yes/No explanation
If a campaign has Yes/No as escrow status, it means that the person holding the funds also manages the campaign. This is a conflict of interest, but shouldn't be a big problem if the person doing escrow is trusted.

PM them again and show us the message so that the account can be tagged with negative feedback in order to prevent the account from being used maliciously by the hacker. After all you don't want any sales happening and then all of the sudden someone's crying over the bitcoins they spent on your account.
4268  Other / Meta / Re: "Search is temporarily disabled" on: September 11, 2017, 08:48:10 PM
The search is disabled because theymos found it was linked to the whole "Database error" problem that popped up a bunch.

I found that this is caused by contention with long-running searches. Search is disabled while I figure out how to fix it.

Just use Google search in the meantime.

regarding Plinko can you add an option to roll n number of balls at a time.

yes,like bitvest does,for example
also the "defying the laws of gravity" plinko looks funny
fix the animation and add  customizable rows, where players could create their own rows
p.s. tried plinko,it doesn't seem to fly balls upwards anymore, maybe I was lucky or has it been fixed?
I like the animations! They're far better than the boring old left or right drop animation that is typical of most Plinko games.

Is there a right time when posting? Or required length interms of posting?
No.
4271  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: September 10, 2017, 12:43:35 PM
Hi Ryan,

could you please think about (at least temporarily) lowering the withdrawal fee ? In the last days, BTC fee level has been clearly decreased, so I think that 700bits is unnecesarily high fee now. I guess lowering into ~ 400bits would be more than enough. Thanks.
Taken from estimatefee stats: For a standard transaction with 3 inputs and 2 outputs (this is being very generous) to confirm within ≤2 blocks, since the size is 522 bytes and the fee 136 sat/byte it is around 700 bits.
4272  Economy / Gambling / Re: Texas Holdem with crypto? on: September 10, 2017, 12:42:51 PM
Sure.

3) If it has nothing to do with the thread, it's off-topic. Pretty self-explanatory.
i mean use it to spam activity
Any and all spam is bannable.

5) Copy and pasting, usually.
i mean no support team or explain why banned
You need an explanation as to why plagiarism is bannable? Why the forum disallows it? You should already know that copying other people's work and framing it as your own is definitely not conduct that will be allowed.

Selling accounts is allowed. It's a user's property and they can choose to do what they want with it. However, account sales usually end up leading to suspicious activity and are thus frowned upon.

i mean if they sell accounts created my them  , made more than 1 account make your accounts banned why staff not ban this accounts .
or they hacked this accounts which is also not allowed
Selling hacked accounts isn't allowed. But how is anyone supposed to know until when the sale happens? And they can't be on the watch 24/7 for account trading to stop it while it's happening. That's ridiculous.
4274  Other / Meta / Re: General questions about Bitcointalk on: September 10, 2017, 07:27:17 AM
1) Mods delete posts which can be reported and sent to them. There's no algorithm AFAIK.
2) Copying and pasting (even of your own) isn't great. Simply quote your original reply and/or link to the first post you made.
3) If it has nothing to do with the thread, it's off-topic. Pretty self-explanatory.
4) It will be trashed.
5) Copy and pasting, usually.
6) Trash -> Warning -> Ban
Selling accounts is allowed. It's a user's property and they can choose to do what they want with it. However, account sales usually end up leading to suspicious activity and are thus frowned upon.
I'm guessing you got banned for copy pasting?
4275  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunched! 100% deposit bonus. BTC, ETH, LTC DICE betting on: September 09, 2017, 06:30:44 PM
Where can we see the provably fair tab? I cant see it sorry for asking, I am really waiting for the poker though. I think there will be a lot of poker players here, nice to compete.
It's a couple posts above you. The method is situated here: https://betking.io/provablyfair and you can find the seeds and hash information in the scales button on the main dice page.
4276  Other / Meta / Re: Is there anyway to avoid local board spammers? on: September 09, 2017, 04:23:26 PM

You are quite funny. He is destroying the forum and I think that we should avoid that from happening. Ok, you can go ignore the IRMA storm as well as Harvey and also ignore North Korean nuclear too Wink your life is such boring.
Nice analogies. There's a certain degree of separation between those things. It's like comparing a mayfly to a crocodile. You wanted to avoid spam? You can do so by ignoring it. Or report his posts and add useful comments.
4277  Other / Meta / Re: Is there anyway to avoid local board spammers? on: September 09, 2017, 03:52:44 PM
See that blue button on the bottom-left of user profiles when they post? It's called "Ignore".
But yeah, there was a period of time where he posted 5 times in <4 minutes. Request EAL EFS to take a look.
4278  Other / Meta / Re: Why is a Beta-Testing Promotion Considered an Illegal Give-way / faucet on: September 09, 2017, 03:49:35 PM
If at all the thread incentivized posting on it (to have bumps) then it would be disallowed because that conduct perpetuates unconstructive posting and is not something the forum needs. IIRC the rule can be found in the Altcoin sections.
Why would it be business-motivated? Roll Eyes
4279  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitsler.com not fare and scam the player who win the game on: September 09, 2017, 03:43:19 PM
So basically it's his fault that he faucet farmed ? I mean why wouldn't he if you allow him to ? Pretty smart way to make some monies if you ask me.Anyway you should be putting rules on your faucet options if this has become a trashy way to make money off your website.
"14. FAUCETS

14.1. Only for earnings from faucets, we reserve the right not to authorize withdrawals.

14.2 ATTENTION: Having more than 2 accounts is strictly forbidden(by person/IP/house/family). If you are found to be in violation of this rule all of your accounts will be blocked and any funds in them will be forfeited." via Bitsler T&C
There are rules that were agreed upon. Took me maybe two minutes to read through the whole of the Terms and Conditions. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
4280  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Greatest Bitcoin Gambling Experience Ever! | 12 Exclusive Games on: September 08, 2017, 04:12:36 PM
Most of the available dice sites offer 1% house of edge ( bitsler,duckdice,yolodice....). 999dice 0.1% house of edge. Do you have any valid reason why people should choose stake (here dice house of edge is very high 2%) over other dice sites
Firstly, disregard 999dice completely because they are a scam. The dice game is 2% at Stake which is true but the other games are 1% edge, with blackjack at 0.4%. (Stunna, I would still like to see the Blackjack house rules for verification purposes). There's also a variety of games here [most of which are 1%] thus unless you are exclusively a dice player, it should compensate the doubled edge which most people shouldn't touch.
