4261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 13, 2019, 01:09:07 AM
Can someone explain to me that why the hell did Sarfaraz take the run and give the strike to Afridi, the 11th man? Simply horrible. Sarfaraz seems to have absolutely no confidence in his batting skills. I've never seen any captain making such a stupid mistake. Roll Eyes
The decision making skills of Sarfaraz was tested today as he missed a regulation catch when the spinner was bowling and then for reviews we saw him having difficulty in taking decisions on whether to go for it or not and finally they lost the review they had when the ball was pitched outside off still on the persistence of Amir he took the review, as a captain he had to take decisions as he clearly knew it was outside off as he was talking about it and was captured in stump micro phone and still went for the review.
4262  Local / India / Re: Warning: Brave browser phishing scam going around on: June 12, 2019, 11:55:31 PM
So scammers have created a fake version of brave browser that probably steals the keys in your PC and other personal data
With the price of bitcoin and other alt coins are rising, you will see scammers coming up with their bag of tricks to steal your hard earned money. Beware of all these fishy attempts and awareness is the best solution here.

Is there any way to remove that phishing link from internet?
Nothing is moderated on the internet, not sure whether you are waking up from a comma  Cheesy.

The official side of brave noticed and doing anything to prevent users?
Most of the sites warn about Phishing sites, but the actions must be taken by search engines as people usually hear about a browser and search online and if the Phishing site finds a way to pop in the first few pages, then people are most likely going to fall victims.
4263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 12, 2019, 11:23:43 PM
Did Cerrone blow his nose on purpose ? Probably... but if that's the case, it's a shame because he still had a chance, he could have gotten a lucky shot and won in the last round. Ferguson was the better fighter though.
I didn't really enjoy the fight anyway. Those guys are not kickboxers god damnit ! One miserable attempt at a takedown, only one ! Not my kind of fight.
Not sure you have any idea what you are talking about, Donald Cerrone is a kickboxer and have a background in Muay Thai and if you have seen any of his fights in the past his kicks are exceptional and he is undefeated in kickboxing with 28 wins, Cerrone made a mistake blowing his nose and he is a fight veteran and he wanted to fight but doctors made the right decision.

Nick Diaz is no match to Mcgregor, the weakness of Diaz will be exploited more now that they see the fight he had with GSP.  Dana can't just match the two, the outcome is foreseeable and so will be a tragic end for Diaz's career. Look how terrible he performed in his last 3 fights.
Nick Diaz has not fought in a very long time but that does not mean that McGregor will have an easy fight if that materialize as the Diaz brothers have insane cardio and that is the one thing that McGregor lacks and it will be a huge money fight and UFC will hype the fight as the return of Nick Diaz and they have a fairly huge fan base.
4264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs should target developing and third world countries on: June 12, 2019, 10:43:01 PM
Lot's of Bitcoin ATMs keep popping in the developed countries such as US, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong etc. But I have been thinking why don't the owner's target countries without much economic stability? Like Venezuela . That would increase the adoption. Something like backpropagation. What do you think?
The main reason is economics, people in developed countries are more likely to use these ATM machines and the companies installing them will have their profits and that will not be the case with third world countries as there might not be having the same profit percentage they get in bitcoin centric developed countries and the legal formalities they have to overcome are denting these developments, adoption will not increase if there is a bitcoin ATM machine as most of the machines i came across have high service charges and i would rather opt for other options to trade bitcoin rather than depending on ATM machines. 4265  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will FB Coin/JPM Coin Impact the Cryptocurrency Ecosystem? on: June 12, 2019, 10:14:30 PM
On the one hand, these are amazing developments that validate blockchain technology and its potential as a currency system, however, they are also drifting us away from the original vision of a decentralised monetary system.
We really do not need these corporates to start a centralized blockchain and a monetary system to validate the blockchain technology, these centralized platforms could lure unknown users into their platform when then people will understand the real value of decentralization and the power of bitcoin, these centralized tokens might act as a stepping stone for the future bitcoin echo system.
4266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire wants to buy 25% of the bitcoin supply on: June 12, 2019, 09:21:43 PM
There is no better chance than now if they want to buy up a quarter of the bitcoin supply. The price went down for a short while but there is no way it will stay that way for long, too much demand from other whales will bounce it back up again
If someone or any financial institutions plan to invest in bitcoin and they have the audacious plan to purchase 25% of the global bitcoin supply they will not bother the price fluctuation of thousand or two thousand dollars to invest in it, their plan is to hold for the long term when the price of bitcoin crosses over a million dollar or reach their target and even if they invest billions of dollars at this point in the bitcoin market the price would increase and could cross $50 K per bitcoin.
4267  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to bitcoin in india on: June 12, 2019, 08:09:05 PM
Why did some people go to jail? Is there a link with the official and cryptocurrencies about it? I've never seen anything legal. I guess these arrests are about fraud? Is there any article about it?
It is mostly for fraud or conning people that some people are being to jail and some are members here in this forum who were default trust members in the past. These are many cases to point out
1) Amit Bhardwaj, the Gainbitcoin thief and liar.
2)Cryptokidnapping
3)Indian Police Arrest 'Cashcoin' Gang Accused of Scamming Millions From Investors
4)BitConnect scam

4268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be legally accepted in every country in the next 10 years? on: June 12, 2019, 05:23:22 PM
I don`t think so, Bitcoin is tax free and if it will gonna be accepted or become legal in every country, then surely it will get taxed which contradicts it`s decentralization. Though there will always be positive and negative effect of legalizing bitcoin in every country, but surely government will control it.
I am not sure which country you are living in, if you are not giving a tax for bitcoin that does not mean that bitcoin is not taxable and bitcoin is not meant to be tax free and decentralization does not mean that you can hide your money and not pay your taxes  Cheesy. Even if there is no regulation for bitcoin within your country you are bound to pay your taxes as income from other sources to avoid future penalties, if you are not making that much money from the bitcoin market then you have nothing to worry  Tongue.
4269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: June 12, 2019, 04:46:47 PM
Australia scored 307 runs against Pakistan today. They all out within 49overs, shame. Pakistan is looking decent until now, 124-2. Pakistan needs a solid partnership to make this match interesting. If Pakistan wins today, they will be one step ahead of qualifying Semi finale.
With the way Australia started batting they should have score above 330 runs but Mohammad Amir bowled exceptionally well and was swinging the ball in both directions and Pakistan missed many chances in the field, Pakistan likes to surprise everyone and with a good start they had now they end up losing 5 wickets and will loose by a big margin with the way the match is going.
Tomorrow we have an interesting match, India Vs New Zealand and hopefully we will have the full match.

Edit: Another surprise as the tail enders scored runs than their main batsmen. Grin
4270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't blame the idea(ico) blame scammers on: June 12, 2019, 10:06:21 AM
Am making this thread because of the numerous wrong perception  seeing. So people are actually castigating cryptocurrency and initial coin offering idea for loses the made through it rather than really seeing the cause of the problem.
The cause of the problem is simple, anyone who can convince someone to invest money can get investors from around the world without even having a working model hence it will attract scammers just to take advantage of the situation, it is a noble thing but the idea of crowd funding for a project is nothing new and the blockchain enabled everyone to participate so easily and that attracted scammers and other trail and error individuals who wanted to make money with other peoples expense.

PS . let's try finding ways to tackle the cancer(scammers, poor project) of the initial coin offering rather than contributing to killing it
To tackle the issue, the people who collect these amount of money in the name of projects must be accounted for their trail and error case and if their project is not successful they must return the amount and not let them keep the money they earned through the crowd funds and it will reduce fake projects and scammers.
4271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Tom Schwarz on: June 11, 2019, 09:28:53 PM
Tyson is everyone’s favourite to win the match, but let’s not forget Joshua too was everyone’s favourite but he lost his match. What do you’ll make of Tysons statement that he’ll retire if he looses his match vs Tom, will he actually retire or this is just another marketing stunt. Who else here is planning to bet on Tom for winning the match, and causing yet another upset.
The main difference between Andy Ruiz Jr and Tom Schwarz is the experience in terms of competition he faced, check out Ruiz amateur record and the amount of fights he fought during that phase and Tom Schwarz history, you will understand the difference in the level of competition, the biggest upset in boxing is still Buster Douglas simply because it was a lucky punch in my opinion but when it comes to Joshua vs Andy Ruiz he out classed him in the fight and Joshua never had an answer for his fast hands, may be he underestimated a fat guy who was hand picked in a short notice, but Joshua's management found the wrong person in Andy Ruiz, Tyson Fury will win the fight in terms of boxing skills and i am not willing to place a bet in this fight simply because of the lopsided odds  Cheesy.
4272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 11, 2019, 06:52:17 PM
this is rain season in England, everyone knew about it, still ICC organised World Cup in this time is so confusing, they must had delay WC for 1 month, when rain chances reduce to low. Next 2 days will have so much rain too, just pray we will have some cricket next 2 days.
Everyone knew that it is rainy season in England but the people who are organizing the tournament failed to oversee that and this is by far the most matches that is being washed out in world cup history, the amount of revenue they will be loosing because of this will be immense and the broadcast team is the biggest looser here as the amount of lost revenue in advertisement will force the ICC to have reserve day in the opening stages too.
4273  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Fueling the Gig Economy on: June 11, 2019, 02:36:33 PM
With the rise of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, can the blockchain help facilitate a new form of employment and help workers around the world earn a fair living from their efforts?"
Bitcoin will help facilitate the so called gig economy or its market, usually people used to rely on paypal for these sort of transactions and you really cannot reply on paypal if you are holding a large amount of money as they usually block your account without any warning and if that happens you will hardly hear from their customer support and it will take up to a year to sort the issue which is not an optimal way and with the advent of bitcoin it has taken over the monopoly of these micro payment systems.

Cryptocurrencies won't make the gig economy better due to the irreversible crypto transactions, which increases the risk of scams.
The site which facilitates the work will act like an escrow and the irreversible nature of crypto transaction will not increase the risk of scams, with paypal and other payment methods even if you get the amount and you sent the work they proposed, they could arise a despite after sometime which is the biggest scam in the past and to get that money you need to wait for a long time.
4274  Economy / Economics / Re: New recession is around the corner on: June 11, 2019, 06:31:43 AM
Lmao. You are hilarious man. I know you are not serious, or are you  Roll Eyes? I don't think Avengers end game was disappointing. I actually liked it!
I am sure he did not watch the movie and started this thread after reading some message boards online, that is by far the funniest comparisons i have seen when it comes to recession comparing with some movie and TV productions and how they are saving their money  Cheesy.
I liked the Avengers End game and watched it in 4D IMAX. Smiley

@OP  It will be a good conspiracy theory and you can be their super star if you can post in their boards as you will get a lot of followers. Cheesy
4275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CWC2019 Prediction Pool - Win x BTC [Additional prize in every round] on: June 10, 2019, 04:29:50 PM
With this abandoned match South Africa lost their last hope I think. Very unfortunate.

I also have no idea what was wrong with the management for not to have at least one reserve day for all matches. In England the weather is very unpredictable, they should know it.
Usually they do not have a reserve day in world cup matches during the initial stage of the tournament, but in semi final and finals you might see a reserve day if the weather plays a part as they usually continue the match the following day, this is by far the worst world cup for South Africa after their reintroduction to international cricket in 1992 and there were reports that AB de Villiers was willing to join the squad before the world cup team selection but the selectors turned him down and if he was in the team i am sure some of the matches would have been different.
4276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If india bans Cryptocurrency as per the draft law, What happens to the community on: June 10, 2019, 10:54:34 AM
Yes, I think it is a Good Idea but, what about bank account KYC as for all kinds of bank account you have to go through KYC.
There will be more P2P exchanges if they ban bitcoin and you really do not need to verify those things with the banks until it is some serious money and if you make transactions frequently it might arise questions from the authorities about the source of funds and you need to have a solid response for that.
I knew something like this would happen if the same government was re elected and now the draft is one of the most stupid thing i have seen from their history of stupid decisions like demonetization and how they implemented GST.

india is nt banning cryoto currency it is false rumor in market which media created the ban in draft bill is just a clause  for tax invaders the main bill with all clauses should come out
If you know more than the general public and the media about the facts here, i would like to hear from you about the new draft they are coming up with in detail.
4277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India amazes me!Indian police recovered multi million scam on: June 09, 2019, 10:55:08 PM
Well this simply shows that the indian government  have concerns about their citizens,US dont give a shit about blockchain/crypto scams never heard some hacker/scammers  in cryptocurrency got caught on US or in any other more advance country compared to India.
What world are you living in, if you scam someone promising huge returns you will be caught eventually, when the people who got scammed go to the authorities they will get caught and majority of the cases i have come across are in that category, it does not mean that they are having their concerns about their citizens and the rest of the major countries are turning a blind eye to these scams, the reality is that majority of the huge scams originated from India or other developing countries.

@OP there is nothing to amaze in the situation, i am not sure which case you are talking about, if you could elaborate we would have some clarity.
4278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is a threat to the crypto space on: June 09, 2019, 04:52:24 PM
Agree to disagree... whenever power is centered on one person or a group of people, there will always be dictatorships and manipulation.. I see a lot of people celebrating Cz on Twitter for delisting bsv.. but what they don't understand is Cz poses a greater threat to decentralization than faketoshi will ever be... even vitalik buterin agrees to this
Let us forget about the power they hold in the market, how about the security lapse they had and hackers running away with 7000BTC and CZ even considered a bitcoin rollback at that phase which is a silly thought process as he thought it would be a easy process like some shit coins did in the past when they encountered the same situation  Tongue. And a few days back i saw a thread here reporting that the site was offline, so it is best to avoid them for the time being and they are becoming that powerful because of the user base they have and when that is gone, they are just a normal exchange.

Now there is another accusation against binance and other exchanges that they shows fake volume and allow unlawful practices.
Here is the source to read more about it
4279  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: June 09, 2019, 03:45:36 PM
According to it only around 350,000 people own more than 1 BTC (the data is from 2014, and the numbers will be even lower now). The number of users owning more than 1,000 BTC is only around a thousand.
The question will be, how they came to that conclusion that only 35000 people own bitcoin, what if they analyzed different wallets that holds one bitcoin or less and if that is the case the number of people holding bitcoin during 2014 will be much lesser as people usually store their coins in multiple wallets and many store their coins in exchanges and other wallets online, so it is a difficult task to get the exact prediction when it comes to those numbers.
4280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket World Cup 2019 Prediction Pool [Join FREE win x BTC] on: June 09, 2019, 01:29:46 PM
I am positive about Australia even if India scores 300+ runs. Aussies has this habit to chase big scores and win from there. My pick was Australia to win comfortably but may be they will win a close match.
It all depends on how Australia is going to face Bumrah with his tight line and length and if Warner dismantles the Indian opening bowlers then it will be a different story altogether, another interesting aspect is how Australia will tackle the spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, if India can pick wickets in the beginning then it will put the pressure but if they start comfortably then they have the batting line up to chase this total, if Australia wins this match, then Glenn Maxwell will be the player to help them chase this total.

Another interesting and fun stat i would like to share is that Bhuvneshwar Kumar never bowled a no ball since 2015 which is an exceptional feat.
Heard this fun fact from the commentary team in the last match when Bhuvi was bowling  Smiley.
