4261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: November 09, 2020, 11:13:13 PM
I somewhat agree to what Fury's younger brother has to say:

Quote
"He's saying his team has spiked his water and all sorts of stuff, ludicrous stuff that you don't say as a sportsman. As an athlete, you just kind of take on the chin and get on with it. I think Wilder's in a really low, low state because he had a big ego. Everyone around him had big egos. I think to lose in the way he did, getting brutally battered for seven rounds, it's hard to swallow. I don't think he can swallow it. That's the problem here. Tyson's a much better fighter than him. Don't be making excuses for yourself and tarnishing your legacy, because that's all he's doing."

https://www.boxingscene.com/fury-brother-wilder-tarnishing-his-legacy-with-cheat-allegations--153131

And with all the allegations spewing from Wilder's mouth, I think it was half a negative effect on his legacy in the long run. Unless he fought Fury again and then brutally KO him to get his revenge. But it seems that Wilder is already mentally damaged from the second fight that up to this day, his ego is so big that he can't accept his defeat like a man and making a lot of outlandish excuses.

If he has an intention to fight Fury again, he should not be delaying the fight until Fury's camp already pissed on it and decided to look for another opponent, we can always say that Fury is the better fighter here as in our eyes, he beat Wilder not only once, but twice, one is just not on the record we want to see. No more talking, get into the ring and prepare for Fury since Fury is just waiting to KO him again.

Maybe he want to build his legacy in a way by accusing Fury of cheating that's why he lose.  Cry
4262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ways to earn USD on Binance don't need to be traded! on: November 09, 2020, 07:00:29 AM
That's a good idea, but for me, I would never rely on that as the price of the coin we are holding is so volatile, staking would only increase the number of coins you are holding but we don't hold its value. For me, I will enjoy the volatility by trading, which means most of the activity in Binance is short term trading, and those little extras are only extras. Honestly, Binance has a lot of offers that are always risk free, but I haven't check all of them.

4263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 09, 2020, 06:44:06 AM
I believe that most of us are losing money in sports betting, but I'd like to know based on what you read and your experience (if you have) the reasons why we are losing. Personally, I've been gambling for years, I'm just an ordinary gambler who can't be too serious with gambling, but I can't deny that I have been losing money more than I win.

Share some tips to win or to minimize losing?
______

This thread is open for the winners and losers.
Those "most" people probably just randomly places bets without even knowing anything about the teams or the game. Or they just place bets on their favorite team even if they are about to play against a stronger team.
I guess proper analysis of the teams that will play and previous results might help forecast a winner. But, yeah. It is "gambling". So you never know if you are going to win or lose. At least proper analysis might give you a upper hand when placing bets.

Most means, most of the bettors, and that includes even those who make their research in gambling.

That's the reality, not because we are doing the right research we will easily win, still majority of us struggle and only few are really gifted with the skills or talent that they can use in sports betting, one obvious evidence is the sports betting industry are growing in a significant increase.

Last game for today, I'm picking the FuelMasters to win here.

Same here  Smiley and i was lucky that i was able to bet for Phoenix @2.20 early as the odds have shifted in the evening making the Phoenix LPG the favorite of this game @1.65 odds.

53-52 end of the first half, very close ball game with Lassiter hot in the 2nd canto but i doubt he could carry it on the second half.

One thing i observed, the Beermen just could not bring the ball down low to Tautua where there is a mismatch.

Beermen needs to find that mismatch as they needed that much coming this 2nd half, they can't just relied with same play over and over
as fuel master are adjusting from time to time.

With the score so close, those who are aiming for SMB to win are now getting much better odds. Anybody's ball game, as both teams needs to this win for much better position going to the playoffs.

Congrats to the winners and to the Phoenix, RJ Jazul was the player of the game, this guy is so hot with his 3 point shooing, he was 9/16 in the 3 point line and that really help the Phoenix to win. It was a team effort and Perkins, Calvin, and Wright are also contributing but it was the night of Jazul and his high in the season.

With this win, Phoenix climbed to the top 3 spot and if they stay their they will enjoy the twice to beat advantage.

here's the ranking again https://pba.ph/standings
4268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin still feasible? Profit or loss? on: November 05, 2020, 11:11:25 AM
I wish altcoins will come alive if the bull run will start.

Bitcoin is bullish, we can all see that but most of the altcoins especially the old ones are still struggling until now.
Maybe the right time has no come yet, we need more push to see an altcoins run for their own as bitcoin rising would sometimes result to altcoins going down, as we can see it. The last time we saw an altcoins run was when bitcoin had a new ATH, so let's hope we will see that this year.

Enjoying the Meralco vs Rain or Shine game now.

I thought it was a high scoring game as they had a high scoring start, but in the 2nd quarter they only managed to make 35 combined points, I think the pace will continue, Rain or Shine are just so steady when it comes to their game, they want to play the "grit and grind" game.

Who's rooting for the Rain or Shine here?
4270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 05, 2020, 08:25:19 AM
quick question:

do you want people to tell your strategies?  Grin

I am hoping, maybe they can help, besides, our enemy here are the bookies, if we can win consistently, then we can all make money.

I know not everyone is putting their money in one side alone, but at least we will be learn some technique that could help us develop our strategies.

If people will share their strategy then good, but actually it's not easy to convince the mind of the gamblers, they always have a doubt even if you are already showing them some proof, and I guess that's really how our minds as a gambler works.
4271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: November 05, 2020, 05:19:48 AM
This made me happy as he really have the heart to help the poor, he is a real hero of the Filipino though there are people who criticize him being a politician. The fight if it will be realize will give both fighters a good amount of paycheck, so no one would resist this fight and this is not just an exhibition fight, it's a professional fight that record will be added to player's fight history.
I have heard reports about Manny Pacquiao helping the poor people and so is the reason he is still fighting at his 41 years of age when he would have retired and hopefully Conor McGregor could be a good fight because it is easy pay day for him in his mind and could make multiple millions extra than fighting a tough boxer  Wink.

Hope all the Filipino users are safe as i heard about the disaster.
Yes Manny Pacquiao is helping people and Im very thankful for that because we have him who help . He is not a boxer only because he is also a senador to my country and I would say money is not the reasons also why they did not fight because also he wants gives another enjoyment to my fellowship Filipino people because many here are watching when Manny have a fight because we know his ability when he fight.

It will give a lot of fun for the Filipinos when he is watching, that's the reason he is loved by the Filipino and he would not win in the election if he is not popular and love by the people, some politicians do vote buying, I think Pacquiao does not have to do that anymore.

Though this fight is not the best fight for Pacquiao, but whatever makes him make money for the Filipinos, I think it's worth supporting.

Sportsbet still offering US Election odds, something not all the sites are still doing.

Biden:  1.40
Trump:  2.80

Does anyone have any angles on this?

Until now the odds are still available, but it's pretty obvious that Trump will lose in the election as the odds says itself.

Kind of interesting betting streak competition only because of the roll over of the prize if nobody gets it at their first try. Wink
It will gather interest to more to get involved because of the capped amount of the prize.
0.01btc is a good amount for a betting streak imo.

It increases up to 0.10BTC  Wink

I read the rules but honestly it's not so clear to me, if it's not a burden on your part, can you put an example on how this game is played so we will not mistakes in putting our entries here?

The participation is really simples: You just need to keep doing your regular betting on BetBTC, and in case you have the luck of making a 7x winning streak (composed with bets of BTC0.0005+ / 1.50+ odd decimal) just share a printscreen of it, and we will award you a prize no lower than 0.001BTC, and up to 0.10BTC, depending on the number of days without winner.

Good Luck!  Smiley

Thanks for the clarification, so since the competition started on November 2 and until now there's still no winner, that means the pot now is BTC0.005 already?

There is no such thing as winning strategy when it comes to gambling. Doesn't matter which strategy you use, you luck won't change. The best you can do by following strategy is bring self control and manage your losses properly. Gambling depends on luck. Those strategies might help win in short run and the only way to exit with a profit with those strategies is by quitting forever. Remember, in the long run, you are bound to lose.
Kindly suggest what works for you.

6. Paid Group
Or simply subscribe to a betting group and play their games strictly.
Don't join those groups. They are all scams. You will be paying them to get scammed.
One of the strategy to avoid huge losses is to avoid those betting groups especially in telegram wherein you will required you to pay some amount of money just to give you their prediction on what or where to bet. Skills and luck in gambling are co exist to each other. Focus on the learning a lot of strategies around the internet and do not join in those betting groups that gives signals because for sure that you will incur losses on it. Risk management is also important in gambling so it is not just about luck or skill, even if you are lucky enough; you cannot avoid to lose huge amount of money without proper bet allocation in gambling.

I'm not sure if there are really a lot of people who are into that thing. This is like a telegram group for paid trading calls, trading may sound realistic but in sports betting, I think it's quite fun to just analyze the game on our own. Subscribing in paid services will lead us not knowing anything in the end because we are too dependent.
4276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Turnoff Happen to Bitcoin on: November 04, 2020, 05:39:05 AM
This is not the first time we experience a huge transaction fee for our transaction, so if investors and users will be tired of using bitcoin, they have already done that before, so no, just relax, everything will be back to normal, transaction will be lowered as the congestion is over.

4278  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 04, 2020, 02:55:02 AM
Since the problem on high withdrawal fee occur when there is heavy traffic on mempool, I think roobet should implement and allow their users to input their desired transaction fee to process the withdrwal.
This is for the benefit of their users also, not all users does have lots of funds, some needs to withdraw for some reason.
And not all are okay for paying multiple dollars for a transaction fee.

I think this is a good suggestion, small bettors can't afford the current withdrawal fee, if they can't add more altcoins options, then I guess the suggestion is very much suitable given the current situation.
Thinking this situation will take long or not? I think when the price has started to fall then the cost will be lower even the traffic network is no longer congested in Menpool but keep thinking whether this suggestion is worth implementing or not because the stance of the management is the strongest.

In every gambling there must be a small bet that is possible with other options when this happens then it is difficult for the withdrawal to be limited and in the end have to wait or bet again.

We never know if it will take long or not as naturally, the market is very much unpredictable. At least at a given situation, they have an implementation to be made to give a small gamblers and opportunity to still gamble without worrying about the high fees.

Most probably they still have that mentality and wanted a full 3 minutes per round. It could have many advantages specially if either one of the two are trying to win the rounds. However, we are in the pandemic and safety protocols are the first thing in mind. So no need to complain from the organizers, there's a lot of things that can happen in 2 minutes, they can either relax for the first minute and then goes for war in the last minute.
I don't think the current situation have affected the minutes per round, I think the fact that both fighters are not young anymore, they are reducing the number of minutes per round. This fight has an undercard and I don't think they also fight 2 minutes per round.
