4261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: January 28, 2017, 11:27:16 PM
Hi,

I don't know what to do  Cry

How you think bitcoin will go up or down in near 2-3 weeks?

It is very important for me...

What you will do with your btc also?

Thanks.
Will it was apparent that it did go up with the price above the 900 price mark now.
And with the chinese new year just yesterday it is safe to say it will go up from here. Grin
Because we all know that China holds the reigns when it comes to the flucuating price of bitcoin.
And when their economy is increasing due to being a happy time in their country with optimistic views then bitcoin can only increase from there.
You will see in the coming days when their stock exchange opens on Monday morning. Tomorrow night actually for those across the globe. Wink
4262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2017, 08:59:38 PM
For all those who hoped that Trump would say something (positive) to bitcoin until the inauguration today, must be disappointed now. He didn't.
I am no longer very positive about Trump and Bitcoin.

Bitcoin ‘too slow’ for cannabis industry until block size changes

Bitcoinist spoke with CSO and Founder Kevin McKernan, whose company Medicinal Genomics has successfully put cannabis strains on the Bitcoin Blockchain. He explains how strains are actually traced, why his company chose Bitcoin, and why he believes Bitcoin is currently “too slow” if not “useless” for cannabis dispensaries as a currency.

4264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Series and films in which Bitcoin appears on: December 27, 2016, 10:40:49 PM
i think there was a similar thread, not that i can find it though.

the only Movie that i have seen bitcoin feature in it so much like in being the main story was called "Dope" it is a 2015 movie where a teenager used bitcoin to sell drugs anonymously online and get out of his neighborhood Smiley

p.s. is Mr Robot any good, i keep hearing about it?
mr robot is the best tv series .watch it u l gonna love it t oo much.

In my opinion, it is not a series for everybody. If you are interested into Bitcoin then you could like it. I have friends who do not like the story. I do by the way.
4265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: December 27, 2016, 10:38:50 PM
In my opinion, the whole discussion related to Trump and Bitcoin comes from the influence of Trump's technological mind Peter Thiel who is a strong supporter of Bitcoin.
https://news.bitcoin.com/peter-thiel-trump-transition-team/

I think it's just our (who is using bitcoin) opinion. Donald Trump is never talk about any crypto currency. And as you know, the money in united state is made and handle by federal reserve that can make any policy without government intervention.

4267  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are Venezuelan not switching to Bitcoin? on: November 25, 2016, 08:52:34 PM
Things are going more and more crazy in Venezuela. This year's inflation is 45%. All hopes are for the OPEC meeting on 30th November when the consortium decides about cutting the oil production. If it will not find an consensus then it is expected that oil price goes back down to $30-35 per barrel. If so this will end horrible for the country and its people.
4268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 25, 2016, 08:46:17 PM
Before the election Donald Trump spoke good about Bitcoin. It is sad that he did not give a statement about its financial policy yet. I think there are more important things to do first like finding the right people for his team. After then we will know what his plans are with financial instruments like Bitcoin and block chain.

I don't know if Trump's election will give affect to bitcoin or not. But if it does, I hope it will gave positive effect rather than negative one. If Trump make regulations to bitcoin, it will affect globally since USA is one of major country.

I did not know about this series before you posted it. I found an online stream. Really cool story and a must watch for every crypto enthusiast.
I really hope they will produce and broadcast a second season.

The production company has even set up a real website for the coin including the actors and actresses. It is available on http://gencoin.io

I just found the brand new series "StartUp" by coincidence about a female programmer who invented a crypto currency called Gencoin. This somehow reminds me of Satoshi. In any case, Bitcoin is also mentioned when she is speaking with investors.
The first episode of the first season was aired recently. The first episode was really promising.

Here is the trailer of the first season.

Bitcoin and Ethereum: Two Coins With One Contrasting Week
As we look back on the week Bitcoin was clearly a win. Up from ~ $630 to $710 since this time last week.  Ethereum on the other hand, was a loser, down from ~ $13 to ~ $10.75.  Happily, our readers were on the right side of these trades for the last week.

Didn't hear about it. But I like Western and Science Fiction and the series seems to be a mix of both. I will start watching it when I finished 9th season of Big Bang Theory.

I advise everyone to check out Westworld, it has been amazing, great actors, great plot, HBO quality.

Bitcoin Unlimited Adoption May Lead To Network Centralization
The crux of the problem with Bitcoin Unlimited is that the economic majority is making the decisions, including the decision of who gets to be a part of the economic majority (by increasing the cost of participation).

4273  Other / Off-topic / Re: Favourite Mobile Phone? on: October 23, 2016, 01:53:34 PM
Samsung s7 is the best
To date, more than so many copies sold samsung 7 to be able to hear the feedback from users. But the information is interesting.
If the market will remain only Samsung and iphone it will still be in favor of Samsung. Number of still matters.

You should not forget the rising mobile producers from China like Xiaomi. I am sure they will play a good role in the future's mobile phone market.
4274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: October 23, 2016, 01:51:41 PM
Is the new wallet the reason why the price explode this much over the last days? I was surprised to see Gulden at the top 30 coins according coinmarketcap.com.

New wallet is coming, Gulden is oke and NOT A SHITCOIN

The list in the opening post does not work for me.
4277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: October 23, 2016, 01:26:58 PM
This sounds great. Do you have a link to a press release or announcement of this cooperation?

The coin sounds kind strange to be a partner of a Swiss insurance company in my opinion  Shocked

$WBB

WBB is a good pick, especially if you take into account that they are at the verge of announcing Swiss insurance company to use their blockchain techology.
Pretty undervalued, at around 25k with quite big potential to the upside in the next months.
4278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so Many Different ALT Coins on: October 23, 2016, 01:24:41 PM
Everyone is free to create an altcoin. This is the reason why there are so many. But 90% of them are just crap. 5-8% are good but only 1-2% are really worth to consider to invest.
4279  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: October 23, 2016, 01:21:10 PM
I am still new to Bitcoin but I have accumulated some and I hope I can gather some more until the price explodes. In 20 years I would like to buy a house if possible  Grin
4280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Recommend me a good altcoin signature campaign on: October 23, 2016, 01:17:40 PM
For BTC, you can try Yobit if they still accept Newbies. Otherwise I would use altcoin ICO signature campaigns. In the past there were good campaigns for WAVES, Lisk, Decent, Komodo and so on.
