I'd rather let the last roster stay when they fought Raptors or before that.
It was a dream of a good pointguard. (I think we have talked about here just a few days back)
Filled with 3 point shooters. Reddick, Saric, Covington, Belinelli. Those names and a lot more was given up for what?
I really liked that 76s roster, and i watched quite a few games. They played some nice team basketball, but their management decided to go all in, gave Saric and Covington, their 2 starting players for Butler that left them soon. It was obvious bad decision even back then, rushed one, as they wanted to go for title too soon. Later on, Butler didn't want resign with them despite them ofeering him max 5 year contract. So they end up giving Tobias Harris way too much, 150M/5 contract. To be honest, even Horford contract ain't too good either, 109M/4 years. A lot of money for  what it looks now like a bench player.
Currently, they don't have much wiggle room, and who knows how all this will end, but it doesn't look good at all.

They are piling up big men. Is this an Elton Brand strategy?  Grin

If it is East we are talking about here.
There is a lot of chances that Heat could snatch the ECF or it could also be Celtics.
It is difficult to predict. Remember, something in those players wakes up whenever the playoffs starts.
They suddenly becomes strong and every second will count.

Now 2 stars are out, how much mess will it be?
Let's hope Embiid is alright, he will undergo and MRI on Thursday per update of : https://www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/player/30040/joel-embiid
He is an important piece of the team, so he needs to be back healthy again, I don't mind if he will rest a week as long as he comes back since they still have a good standing right now.

Yeah, unlike any other centers this guy could change the pace of the game.
He is really someone which is on the top 10 list of big men with a great skill.
Not too many centers/power forwards now can be like that.
Jokic, Brook Lopez, Davis. Those name are the most known. Others are mostly shot blockers or waiting for the alley oop. Howard, McGee, Allen.

An agile big man is difficult to find this days and they are expensive.  Grin Not to mention he is still young.
4263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: February 27, 2020, 12:24:36 PM
Today I'm thinking of selling my BTC even though it would be a big loss right now I've been with BTC a while and used to the volitility but this time I believe it's different
All of us here will respect your decision. There is still a lot more people out there who want that BTC that you own.

I was a believer in BTC and the future of crypto I believed having 1 or more BTC was a smart thing to do that many would look back in 10 to 20 years wishing they'd bought some when it was still obtainable by the regular Joe.
Has it been 10 years already? You are actually in the right direction but just impatient.

Now I feel that BTC will trend down hitting sub 1 dollars prices possibly even 0 over the next 12 to 18 months. the current coronavirus outbreak has been BTCs first real test and it failed hard and failed immediately. It's not a store of wealth and its failure to hold value in a economic down turn is spectacular and visible to all.  Today I think BTC is a failed experiment. What are your thoughts?
Really? Are we going to use this virus as the reason for a failed BTC?
Why not a nuclear strike? Why not if Satoshi is found?
Why not the fall of internet?
There are a lot of bigger reason out there and you are leaning to just a virus for a market to fall?
Be wiser than that!
4264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 27, 2020, 11:45:03 AM

We can see the real tight competition above.

I bet Pelicans would advance.

I heard one analyst talk about the Pelicans. They are in a fast pace after Zion came back.
Yeah, and there is a lot of chance they could really make it to the playoffs.
We will just don't see it yet.
There are still a lot of games and there is rough road that will come.
They need the win against the Cavs and then the Lakers again. Prove something. They need to be worthy for that playoffs 8th spot.

I doubt they'll win against the cavaliers, suddenly the cavs have become a better team... they just beat the Sixers and I think they'll be able to compete with the pelicans.

Personally, I also believe that Pelicans has a decent chance to get that last stop, they are winning now most of their games now, while teams like Blazers and Memphis are suddenly losing games.
This is also why I bet on high odds for the lower seeds.  Grin Sadly, I never got the chance to bet for the Cavs.
It was the sprain shoulder from Embiid which is why the Cavs won that game.
He just played 8 minutes of the game and then need to exit from the game.

This is a good read.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/joel-embiid-suffers-sprained-shoulder-and-it-feels-like-this-whole-76ers-experiment-is-teetering-on-the-edge/

Yeah, Elton Brand is trying something else and it is not working. He might be kicked when all of this goes south.
I'd rather let the last roster stay when they fought Raptors or before that.

Take Butler out, that is okay for me. But put more shooters in exchange for him.
Now 2 stars are out, how much mess will it be?
4265  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Rate Year2020 on: February 27, 2020, 09:57:51 AM
this year btc rate hope to $13000/$14000..?
im hold 2 btc 2018 jan $13900

I guess you are one of those who doesn't have a choice but to just wait.
You bought at a large price indeed but there is no telling when bitcoin will grow again.
Just hold tight and maybe put your seat belt on too because you will never know when it would suddenly gain value again.

Don't rush it or you will just make it worse.
Trust me, you don't want to be that guy which is in the corner and don't know what to do anymore because of losses.

4267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with so many pages in one thread on: February 27, 2020, 02:39:56 AM
-snip -

if a thread have many pages its only means that the project still alive and have many supporters. All project that have many supporters always success - if you are asking me yes, that coin is good to invest even for long term. DASH is also one of the example of good coin in the market .

But, you cannot rely it all with the number of pages. What if there are really 3 supporters in there whose up until now is posting in that announcement thread.
I get it that Dash is a good choice but how about for others?
ICO's specially. You could see a lot of them which have like 200 pages but all are just reports.
While in the announcement section it was just bashing and those who are posting because of the rule which was given to them.
It may have been abolished but still there could be rules that might have sent thru PM's.

I have been through a lot of loss already with different altcoins because of just hypes. Better to prevent that from happening.
4268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 26, 2020, 05:02:52 PM
I guess is Lebron getting whoever he wants to play to his team is an issue of Lebron or is it an issue of the front office? They see Lebron and they think they can't land any player that is better than him so they try to do whatever he asks to keep him there but we have seen time and time after again that dude has no loyalty to any team forever and will eventually leave you if he just wants to, yet front offices ruin their whole futures just to keep him happy.

Cavs are still in big debt even after 2 years of him gone, that is literally the wreck he left behind, so maybe front offices shouldn't have given him all he wanted. Lebron is just a player who looks at this like a business and if he can influence teams to get the best players he would want to play he would do that, I would do that, who wouldn't want to play with amazing teammates.
Let us stop the hate.
Jordan left Chicago for baseball and then back. Then came back once again to play for Washington Wizards.
Same goes for Pippen, Shaq, and a lot more stars out there.

They are traded for some reason.
They also have managers which makes the deals.
Players cannot just say I want this and that without confronting their managers or it could wreck their whole career.

It is Lebron and he might say he want something to happen but it doesn't mean it will always come true.
There is no Santa in NBA.  Grin
4269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT BITCOIN on: February 26, 2020, 02:54:03 PM
That's a good story and that should also be the same story of every member of this forum.
Everyday there is a chance that we might bump into one guy which just want to be rich.
Just to get up from the cruel life which he had been.
But bitcoin ain't the answer for all of that. We should explain it well first before bragging at where we are now.
Take them back to your own story of how much hardship you did before making it out.

Thank you for reminding that to the people here again.
4270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin about to see a strong upward move - Analyst on: February 26, 2020, 12:05:53 PM
Been reading a lot about this types of prediction and all of them are telling about the $10.5k mark which need to be destroyed first.
Do they have some kind of a group or something?
It's difficult to believe that this people are not on the circle of friends since most of them are almost the same and also the explanation.

Anyway, I doubt it will happen very soon.
The resistance before was like 9k or something but still it went forward.
But as we go near the halving more hype will come.
4271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 26, 2020, 10:06:05 AM
~
By the way, Steph Curry is expected to play on Sunday. He is surely missed by his followers. Hope no injuries for him this time.
I just read about this. I cannot blame him for wanting to play but the season is over for the Warriors and I prefer that he just rest and prepare for the next season to avoid further injuries. Kerr should just limit his minutes if the main reason to make Steph play is for fans entertainment.

Does NBA have a rule now against teams not letting their healthy players suit up for the game (i.e. load management)?

That won't happen. They are paid to entertain people and they must do it if they are all healthy.
I think they are just letting this circumstances before the end of the season. Like 2 to 3 games before the start of the playoffs.

24 games left for them and they are at 12 wins only.
Even if they perfect it, I don't think Grizzlies will just have 36 wins before the playoffs. Maybe more.
Plus, it is difficult to perfect all that 24 wins.  Grin
Maybe he will just play, but not that hard.
4272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another STO failed! STO won't work anymore. on: February 26, 2020, 01:24:24 AM
30 percent of softcap is way too low.
I don't think they could stand with that kind of amount of money.
The very least is to to fill that softcap at 100 percent for the project to continue.

It looks like a lot of money for us but they will also need to pay employees and people which they hired for just a short time like advisers and a lot more.
It may not even be enough yet.
Shit happens, and this is one example of that.
4273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 26, 2020, 12:30:52 AM
I still do not understand why people think Ben Simmons is a start that makes so much difference to that team. Dude is a 16 point player with ZERO three point talent and just scores around the rim all the time, he has some rebounding and assist talents which I can understand why makes him more valuable but this dude was compared to Giannis when he first came into the league and was wondering which one would be the next Lebron.
Analysts taking it too far.
A pointguard against a forward with a height of a center. Is that really a pair to have a good comparison?
I don't think so.
Why does it have to be always about the three point shooting capability?
You could always hire players with that specialty but that doesn't mean everyone should have it.
This ain't a Rockets team.

he is not THAT big of a deal if you ask me.
Tell that after 2 more years.
Yes, it may not be now. But who knows? If they play harder this coming playoffs then it will blow all of those analysts minds.
They will suddenly talk about Simmons for a lot of time.  Cheesy
4274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 25, 2020, 04:09:32 PM
A possible East Finals match up will play tomorrow, so I will bet on the game while enjoying it.

These two teams are very consistent but my bet here would go to the home team, I would treat it like a playoff game where the home team takes the advantage, and in addition to that, Bucks are on B2B, came from a win in OT against the Wizards, so that again is another advantage by the home team.

My pick : Raptors +1.5

Going the other way again.  Grin
I will go Bucks -3.5 @2.22.  Wink

You said it, it will be like a playoffs or a Finals game.
I will really watch this one and try to analyze what could be the possible ending in the East.
Raptors may be strong but so does the Bucks.
One day rest should be enough or they could still be hot from the last 2 wins.
4275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin boom or burst ? how to analyzed? on: February 25, 2020, 02:42:19 PM
There is no such thing as an accurate analysis. All of them are just a speculation or a prediction.
Always remember that, so that you will never confuse anything. Most of the new ones does.

They all think there is always an explanation for everything but there is none.
Even with the fluctuation upwards that is happening is being connected to something. War, Chinese President announcement, CoronaVirus, etc, etc.
You name it, they will try to explain it with a wide extension of fake facts.  Grin
4276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 25, 2020, 12:57:59 PM
Amazing performance by Embiid on a win against the Hawks, the big fella scored 49 points along with 14 rebounds in this win.
So to those who are asking if the which player the management will pick between Him and Simmons, here's the answer.

I have still the same opinion.
They won't trade any of these two.

I think they are wise enough to make this guys to ripe and then after that they could take on a championship game.
They are almost there.
Simmons is also trying some new training circle and we are actually seeing that.
Embiid though is a different story. He is improving fast. He also tries to be serious now instead of being a clown which he did last year.

76ers management may already be aware of that.
4277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tom Lee 2020 Bitcoin to 30k on: February 25, 2020, 09:08:51 AM
I'd rather believe this shy type of a prediction rather than $100k.  Cheesy

Most of them are going upwards but let us also be real at what is in front of us.
Ethereum also has an upcoming event which is already pulling a lot of buyers.
That just means the invested money is being divided. They might stay with the bitcoin which they already have and not add more.
But, they will always try the cheaper coin. I won't go XRP of course, I also would rather pick Ethereum.
4278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 25, 2020, 08:22:07 AM
Some great odds for later games without handicaps.
Wizards (home) @9.00 vs Bucks
Knicks (away) @ 10.00 vs Rockets
T'Wolves (away) @7.80 vs Dallas

The demon of me is telling something again.  Grin

Allow that demon to dictate you , lol.. I will even suggest that you parlay all the heavy underdogs so you will get a total odds of 702.
$10 at least for a minimum, you'll get at least $7000, good luck mate, do it fast. lol
That Wizards vs Bucks game was something else.
I think many lose a lot of money from here. It was just a 3 point deficit win from the Bucks.
They may have input handicaps for the Bucks.

Well, I didn't win any of those games but still it was fun specially the Wizards game.  Grin
I just put a little bet in it. Yeah, a gamble as we call it.

And the worst aside from that Pacers' horrible performance, one of their player, Jeremy Lamb suffered a season-ending injury. So unfortunate.
A good contributor for the Pacers team. They may need to recreate their plays for this loss.
A bad news indeed but they are still on the 6th seed at 33 wins while Nets at 7th with 26. They could still arrange everything for change of plays.
4279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 25, 2020, 05:36:06 AM
It is actually happening.
At January of this year 2020, one of my altcoin is valued at 3.5 Ethereum and now it is freaking .6 Ethereum.
Been holding it for like 2 years by now just waiting for the ICO to be fruitful and their roadmap to be completed.
But hell, it is like someone is selling way too much. I bet it is one of the large investors or worse it could be the developers themselves.

There is no more update in Telegram group but there is still some at Twitter. I don't really know if I should still hold it. I am at large loss by now.
The only choice is too wait for more updates.

I was going to say the same thing but he got first.
He stretched out most of what I am going to comment here.  Grin
How did you do that smiley with a teary eye?
That is more important to me than hearing all the words from that man.

One of the problem with old people. (specially the rich one) Not much of them care about the new technology anymore.
He would prefer a war.  Grin
