what oc on the 1070 +400 on the core? +190 core +480 mem now that i have the 1070 i tested it with 1800 core and 4000 mem, but i'm only getting 200, how can you get 245? not even with 2000 core this is possible, are you sure about those result for lbry? pttx is using a private miner, no doubt - he's got more than enough money to throw around. for sure, because increasing the memory was pointless, i got nothing from it

i doubt it does not come with two molex, yes you can do it with powered riser, but i don't like all those additional cable for the molex in my build, i'm sticking with standard risers

Yes it was released today!
Wondering who will be able to give us some ETH mining speeds
its 20 stock, 22 oc - for eth - move along... its 120w founders edition and around 140-150w custom OC editions on eth its 92w for founders edition not sure why everyone is still focusing on how new gpu are good ethereum when that algo is not profitable by miles i'm more interested in what it can do on other algo

wasn't the problem with the "more than 75w" from the pcie, solved already with amd last fix?
Yes and no ... AMD has fix the driver to reduce the load of the RX 480 on PCI-E slot. But they just save a few Watt to be at the limit ... wich is already high if you run multiple cards on the mobo ... and risky if you use riser with low powered capacity. The best is to wait RX 480 with 8 PIN i'm was never a fan and never will be of the reference board, for a reason but since time is money many are buying it regardless

feathercoin is not scrypt, second feathercoin can not be solo mined, it was disabled, for whatever reason, probably because there are hidden big private farm that were raping it, and now those are becoming pool to rape it again
Oh yeah everyone keeps pointing that out about the scrypt coin thing. Thanks, hey do you happen to have a link to the information on feathercoin disabling solo mining, I cant find anything on it. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=649737.msg14303357#msg14303357

what oc on the 1070 +400 on the core? +190 core +480 mem just to be sure is that with lbry right?, if yes it's good with only 1800 core i presume, which is the stock for most oc factory gpu, you are getting already 245MH, and those gpu can be pushed to 2ghz easily can you tell me the wattage?

this can pretty much replace ethereum, because etheruem is facing that hardfork that may destroy it, and without the shitty pos... so miners can mine forever, unless i'm missing something
but that hack on the website has not done very well to the coin

there will be more wave in the past, people like to invest in alt, everyone who was thinking that the alt scene was done in 2014 after the big crash, was just fooling himself
it was because, at that time bitcoin crashed, and destroyed the good sentiment, now again it's rising and everyone is injecting new money on the alt world
seeing how i'm expecting another rise for bitcoin, this thing is not going to end now, so no crash will happen this time

It's possible to reach $1000 in the end of 2016 but It would go down again to 800-900 I think. As you observe on the first halvening Bitcoin price gradually increases even though it goes down sometimes and rises up again. So, we should expect the price of btc would rise as the time goes by.
That is what I think. It could reach $1000 from a price rise from $700, then it will consolidate from $900 to $1000. which is still a very good progress, it does not matter if it don't reach a huge value, what matter is the continuous climbing on average and this is exactly what we are getting, following this way we will end up eventually at 4 digit and stable value

don't use units they are very confusing when you start using milli micro and akin, just use btc, 0.001 btc, 0.0001 btc etc...
you may use satoshi but it appear to be unconventional

if it was really fixed and not too much oced in thiscase, the gpu should get the majority of the wattage from the pci 8 pin and not the riser anymore, it should limit itself tot he maximum the riser can provide, to prevent damage
the molex here would have saved his ass instead of that crappy floppy cable, it seems that even after the fix they still pull a minimum which is too much for that floppy cable so above 36w probably...
this also mean that on a standard ribbon riser x1-x16 it would melt... so other gpu are pulling much lower than 25w there

If I had to put $2200 in crypto right now I would buy dcr and then pos mine it. But that is just me.
mmh not sure it is a good thing, but in the past with decred it was possible to do 0.5 btc/month with just 1k decree now you can only do 0.3 btc/month with 2k decree by the time you reach 1/4 or half of your roi time you will do much less than that, at some point you will be forced to sell your decred, hoping that they are not undervalued... But it is doing that with zero watts -_- yeah but roi too slow, and you can not compare to gpu, because an altcoin is very susceptible t the market, it's unstable its value can tank in no time like it happened when it was at 600k satoshi right now you would have lost 50% of your investment...

My results on lbry.
750 ti with o/c :49-50 mh/s 970 with o/c : 131-132mh/s 1070 with o/c (2000mhz core):222-224mh/s
7970-280x o/c : 50-51mh/s 290 with oc :66 -67 mh/s
Are you on windows? Try to do something cpu intensive while mining. What happens to your hashrate? My 970's get a boost of 14% and hashrate goes up to 150Mh/s per card. -edit- OT something wrong with your 290, should do at least 90Mh/s with public miner. does not make any sense that gpu make more hash when you use more the cpu with something else

I think the AMD RX 470 could be a good card for the Etheruem mining as long as the memory width is 256 bit.
not better than the 480 already, scaling between the two should be very akin, so i see now point in buying one unless you want a low budget build

what is your usage on the 1070? 99%? Nvidia seems good! What miner are you using for Nvidia cards?
there is no open source for nvidia yet, so i guess he is using the private one 1070 @ %94-95 it seems possible to improvee.Sure private miner. 5% missed mean that it can reach 240MH, good enough for me
