4281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which betting type gives you the most payout? on: October 01, 2019, 08:03:09 AM
I always do Straight bet because I like the odds 1.90 and over,
but the odds can change from time to time especially on sports and esports betting  .will you still do straight if the opposing odds change ?

Quote
Parlay is somewhat attractive as it can give good payout but its too risky since there's only a little chance of winning.
parlay is the most popular betting method that i see the most  . many have  done this despite of its riskyness  . if you really wanted to win big , you can take much risk .

Quote
Though it looks easy to some but in reality its hard to win, betting at least 2 bets to quality for parlay, if you lose one, you lose all your bet, that seems hard.
yes its hard because there is no easy money on gambling not just on parlay alone  but then again , being hard and too much risk can offer big returns at the end if ever youv got lucky  .
4282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be good for bitcoin if it will be regulated by the Goverment's on: September 30, 2019, 04:10:23 PM
Regulation will only bring sense of security for the investors and yes it will help the price of bitcoin to grow as many people will rely on it now to invest,
i agree on the security thing but this does not mean that we can now experience a scam free comunity , but believe it or not , there will still be scams and other negativity on cryptocurreny  but atleast its now minimize  .

cryptos can gain trust this way and it can surely attract people but at the same time it will also be the reason for some to unfollow cryptos because they love the old way of cryptos  . so i think the value will still be the same  and wont really grow hard as what you intend
4283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam? What to do next. on: September 30, 2019, 03:22:00 PM
After reading your story, I believe that your friend is being scammed by other people, that kind of situation was also happened to my close friend, first they said some flowery words about the investment, as the time goes by they will continuously taking your money because they said to cash out your money you need to invest again a specific amount of money. So I think be smart on handling your money and think twice on investing.

flowery words are one of the sign that the person talking to you is shady or have some bad intention but i think if we are on that situation ( people talks to us on a nice and attractive manner ) we cant ignore them right away but instead will only getting fall on thier trap later on  .

those kind of fraudsters are popular on our country . when they talk , they have that hypnotizing effect and you will do what they say   . to avoid them , just beware  talking or starting a convo to a stranger .
4284  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Initial Offerings Overpriced? on: September 29, 2019, 10:57:06 AM
Ofcourse it is overpriced.
how do you say so ? why do you think they are promoting such bonuses  . and those bonuses are huge .  this should cut the entire cost of thier coins  .

this is why  i dont think they are over priced but thier pricing are cheap compare to other existing coins on the market .
not only that but thier coins can even become cheaper once they are already listed inside the online exchange  because hunters and other investors are going to pre dump thier hodling   .

4285  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: September 29, 2019, 10:08:43 AM
I think this is not essential anymore as bitcoin wallets can always be our bank.
what about the traditional offline wallets . they can also be your own bank because some of them offers interest rates when you save on them but why there are still banks ?  you can ask that here on bitcoin , we still also need a bitcoin bank because a wallet cant do all the service alone  . banks still have other use or purpose that cant be find anywhere  .

by the way , i can see that last reply from this thread was on dec 2018 , that was a bit long . nice digging for the ones that digs this .
4286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin price recovery on: September 29, 2019, 09:41:05 AM
Now the price of bitcoin and altcoin is purely based on a market.
thats not possible  . their price is not possible if not because of the people investing on them  .  people are the ones that decides if what should be thier price and price can only appear on the market or on the charts  .

Quote
We can say, when it will maximum.
its not possible to predict the maximum limit for cryptos because every investor , manipulator have different mindset

Quote
If many people started to inverse their money on particular coin, now one will stop the rise of that coin.
why do you think price of cryptos are going  down if thats true  ?  its possible for them to be manipulated or controlled  .

altcoins price recovery are seem to be crucial now compare to before  .  i think the longer they exist or the more the demand btc gets  , the alts will suffer more , only imo
4287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin already won ? on: September 29, 2019, 08:35:56 AM
if there are thing such as gold 2.0 then that will still be gold in upgraded fashion but you cant call bitcoin a new gold or a gold 2.0 because its not a gold anyway  . bitcoin needs to become a currency because that is its purpose but it can also work the other way around   . it can work like a gold in which you can buy and make it as an investment asset   .  gold standard are much superior and bitcoin is not on the level of gold or on the standard of gold yet  . it will still take many decades and centuries to prove itself but its possible that other cryptos are being measured by bitcoin  .
4288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: September 29, 2019, 07:21:27 AM
as long as bitcoin survive altcoin will survive too
the reason why bitcoin survive is because there are altcoins on the side but imagine if bitcoin alone only exist , do you think bitcoin can last any longer ?

i believe no because bitcoin have lack some key feature that a currency must or an investment asset must have   .

to be a good currency you should not be expensive than what you are buying and to be a good investment asset you shoudlnt be too expensive  . good thing altcoins have these benefits  .
4289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: September 29, 2019, 06:44:48 AM
it's dead and no one is interested in investing in ICOs in 2019. No other ICO project can fool investors again.

Even after all these scams and failures, there is no concrete mechanism in place to prevent the investors getting cheated again. The ICO basics remain the same. You trust the promoters and pour in all of your hard earned money in to their fancy projects, and hope that they'll hold on to their side of the bargain. And as we have seen earlier, this no longer works.

when you invest you trust but that does not mean that you are now going to pour all your hard earned money on them  .  those who do that are not pro investors but they are only an investor wanabee that thinks investing is easy  . a real pro investor will only invest small at first , he will only test the waters  and if he sense that the project is smoothly running that is the time that he add a little gradually until he is contented  . but you guys are wrong ,  ico are not totally dead  because there are still those that are striving and fighting for thier reputation and these icos are quality guaranteed   .
4290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: this is what every country will do on: September 29, 2019, 04:57:26 AM

you mean every country will require a kyc ? hmmm.  that is true but mainly they require a kyc offline but if its online , chances are not all countries can ask for a kyc or not all site within that country will require it especially if a website is anonymous or decentralize  or simply if its related to blockchain tech and cryptocurrencies because the goal of these technologies/currencies are to offer independency or anonimity to its user  , so why would they kill that experience  ?
4291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Make it back to $20k ? on: September 29, 2019, 04:07:51 AM
People hope that at the launch of BAKKT yesterday it could raise the price of Bitcoin, but we are wrong, the price of Bitcoin actually dropped even more after BAKKT was launched, and I think need time to be able to return to the price of 16k, I am a little doubt if in November the price of Bitcoin can reach $ 20k.

return to 16k usd ? i though btc was valued at 10k + usd before it falls down  .  the price now was at 8k + usd and it does not take too much time for it to return to 10k usd   . maybe a week or two we can expect that the value will be in good shape again but for the 20k usd that your talking about , i dont think thats possible to achieve until november   .   we are ending september but look at the value ,  the value is struggling and dont show any positive signs of a bull run  .  i believe 20k dream is possible next year or two   .
4292  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Be careful of Bitcoins giveaways that are too good to be true on: September 28, 2019, 02:14:53 PM
It offers 2X of the amount of money you send in.

I can't believe that people fall in those scams. Have you ever seen in real life someone tell you "Transfer me some money in my bank account. I will transfer you back 2x."

Why would someone do this?
People are insane with bitcoin...

Bitcoin is not a tool to make people get rich quick. It is just a currency. It works as a currency.
Agree to this, That is obviously a scam, just think because in the first place that is not an giveaway, there's a legit giveaway you can see just like faucet, (not recommended waste of time) you don't need to send any amount of money, that is what you can call a giveaway. That is just basically a scam and not a giveaway so please be careful next time.

doing a faucet cant be consider as a giveaway becauss you need to do some task like solving captchas and in return they give you free sats . you are also visiting a faucet site full of ads and they earn with your visits . same as on airdrops or on bounties , they did not claim that they are give away because a real giveaway is when someone give you free money without asking for return .

gambling is a kind of money doubler. you can deposit x amount and play with x2 payout , if you win you can instantly double your money but of course there is a big risk of loosing. like what we have on other hyip/ponzi investment schemes.
4293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can more ATM's increase adoption for Bitcoin? on: September 28, 2019, 12:39:13 PM
Personally I wouldn't buy Bitcoin through ATMs simply because of the fee that is ridiculously high.
how did you know that the fee was high when you said that you didnt buy btc at btc atm.  btc atm are like normal atm and they are issued by different brands/banks so i think the fee will not be the same.

Quote
However there are significant amounts of people who are willing to take that fee with no problems simply because they don't care or don't know about the fee.
or they are rich and they can afford any fee or they dont care about the fee but as long they can buy easily on these btc atms rather than going anywhere .

Quote
i support ATMs though due to the fact they also bring a lot of awareness to bitcoin.
if your sincer about your support then you should use one.  show your support and other will be encourage to try it
4294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 8 Ball Pool game against live players worldwide - is gambling available? on: September 28, 2019, 12:16:40 PM
just what i thought . the game is really from miniclip .  yes op the game is really enjoyable but i feel sad for you because only discovered that game recently while that game was already a big hit before on the late 2010's era where facebook platfrom is starting to build fame.

afaik i havent seen that they issue such real bets but have you tried other billiard apps ?  other apps simillar to this have already a betting system but idk if they are now accepting cryptos .
4295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fell again, what conspiracy? on: September 28, 2019, 08:03:22 AM
It just feels like every movement in price of btc either up or down some people think there is a reason behind it,
yeah thats also what i observed   . not only if the btc value dumps but also when the value of btc pumps , people will always research and make a a new thread about it  .  people are just curios and they want to stalk every moment that happen towards btc , nothing really wrong with that behavior  .

Quote
I haven't been in crypto for such a long time but am getting use to seeing how the market fluctuates at given intervals, while some are not happy to see this fall in price,  others are happy to take advantage of it.
really ? with that ability of yours , you can open up a paid service about price prediction or you can just do it for free to help people to avoid doing mistakes  .  not all have the same minds , not all have the same goals  ,  so its normal for one person to complain about the fall while the other person will still complain about how good the fall is  .
4296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Doing This? on: September 28, 2019, 07:08:20 AM
yes i do that . i use a local wallet and it needs a 4 digit pin to open  .

i share those 4 digit pin to my wife so that she can access my wallet not because for preparation that if something bad happens ( hopefuly not ) but because i just love to share my own stuffs even the private ones to my wife  .

i dont feel contented if i keep my own stuff a secret to my family members  . aside from that  , i also make a seprate wallet for my wife and then i send her some coins   .
4297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Athletics crypto betting on: September 28, 2019, 06:35:32 AM
This is the first time I've heard of this athletic competition,
You are not alone bro and I can assure you that, I have never heard of it either I feel it's probably not common

same here but whenever i hear the word athletic , the first thing that pops on my mind is sports or sports betting . with that said , i guess we can find this kind of betting under the category of sports bet sites or bookies  . btw  ,   is athletics or athletes are the one that we see on olympics  ? ex . running ?  i think i saw a site that offer olympic betting and simillar to that but i forgot its name  ,  if we can search it on google , there should be a couple of sites that offers this
4298  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Best investment in 2017? on: September 28, 2019, 06:04:07 AM
I agree that all people who invest in the first quarter of 2017 are the people who have earn huge amount of money in the last quarter of 2017
but how did all of those people knew that bitcoin can sky rocket at the last quarter ?  im verry sure that most of those people are not patient enough to hold knowing that there were also bad news that came on that year and the price of most cryptos have drop during the september ( ghost month )  .

Quote
We know that year 2017 is the great year for bitcoin where it reach the all time high price which is around 20000$. I also earn huge amount of money on that year. I still investing in bitcoin and I will continue on doing investing.
agree on it . everyone sees that  .  year 2017 is indeed best year so far in the history of crypto   .  good for you because you have manage to earn on that year while others have failed but still continuing to invest and hodl  .
4299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Believe That It's A Fix on: September 28, 2019, 05:14:58 AM
I will not hear what he say, and I still pick what I want if I believe that what I choose can have a chance to win. But if I don't know anything, then I might hear him and place the bet for what he suggested. I think that can happen in many places as if we are in the real casino or the real places, and we will hear many sounds from many people that will suggest choosing what he said.

on casinos , you shouldnt believe on what others are saying because its imposible to know the outcome of most casino games not unless they are the operator of those machines and they already tweak or modify its settings  but on live games like boxing and jai alai , the fixing games are possible  . this why i dont bet on these kind of games because i dont know if who to trust  .  i will  only bet on the games that im more familiar with and i will only believe on my own self.
4300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 28, 2019, 03:23:01 AM
I have tried the various methods of martingale but I don't have success on this method you need big funds to implement and not just big funds but the strong will and acceptance that you can lose if your expectation di not materialize, martingale looks good but only for high rollers.

thats what they say . they say martingale is for big time gamblers but why i tried martingale before even though im not a  big time player ? its only up to the person if will use that strategy or not  .  you can still loose no matter how rich you are as long as your luck does not stay with you  . if i can do martingale with small balance, you can also do it to ,  you just gotta believe in your self that you can do it  . martingale method and other strategies have been discussed many times but most of the answers will say that it does not work  .
