4281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] ⚡ United Traders ⚡ Payments will be in BTC and UTT tokens ⚡ on: February 03, 2018, 11:57:57 AM
I have received my UTT tokens.  While checking under etherscan I can see it. But when I go to MEW wallet -> Show all token I cannot find any token with UTT so how you all check it in MEW wallet?
You must add the custom token and input the contract address for UTT for your MEW to show it. Please read on the previous page, you will find the address there.

I think the issue could be that the manager did not update the MEW on the spreadsheet before tokens were sent.

In my own case, I sent my MEW in PM and also dropped it here on the thread with reminders both in PM before release of tokens  but yet, it was not updated. I think manager should do well to talk to the owners on our behalf.

You have really managed well but do well to complete your service to our heart. I believe you will talk to the owners and I will  receive my 200 tokens for 6 weeks that the campaign lasted.

This is my MEW : 0xA947Ba92612824c69e89AfB72385C1267424b33B

Yet to receive my 200 tokens

Thanks Hotachy

i could be in Forex if i want to pay taxes... Crypto is the only way that i am feeling freedom with my gainings also i hate tı contribute on social life and goverments with boundries and i hope that will change soon . They are living as rich people with my saving and risks for gaining money ... Ahh hate it .

Yeah sometimes the idea of losing your money to taxing looks scornful but if we live in a country that levys charge on income as tax, you don't have any choice than to socum to the will of the government so long such collection is stated in the constitution.

The theory of government is locked as a social contract. The government are supposedly people who are elected into political offices, Therefore, the social contract depicts that the people relinquish their rights to the government for the use of the betterment of the whole. So if the government finds it proper to levy on income, it is for the good of the whole used for social amenities.

It is the civil responsibility of citizens to pay tax where it is constitutional to pay, whether bitcoin or fiat - no matter the fiat.

4284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto going to DEAD on: January 31, 2018, 08:57:03 AM
The good thing about cryptocurrency is that, it is decentralized and internet based and so, it won't be easy to scuffle. It is not like a physical trade that you would need some check on a border before having an access in.
This is one biggest advantage of digital currency to investors and I'm sure the internet space is not going to be shot down because of banning of cryptos.

However, we have been having negative news about cryptos and bitcoin from inception, yet we still have it around in 2018. Moreover, where we have regulations, indicates government presents which is a good sign for control.

The thing is to have a check on icos (either they go straight to exchange) so that they keep to promise and stronger exchanges linking them to government .

4286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for Bit Coin Price Boom in 2017? on: January 27, 2018, 09:05:49 AM
The simple reasons are that : (1)the world is beginning to accept new technology or that technology is beginning to pierce into human space.
(2) That, in 2017 , we started witnessing the growth of blockchain technology.
(3) As at February/march , when bitcoin was still around $900 to $1000 dollars, we had people realizing bitcoin as a means of payment in option to fiat.
(4) There began a tremendous awareness and growth of cryptocurrency sometime around June, then bitcoin got close to $4,500 / $5000.

In other words,  the growth of bitcoin wasn't just a festive celebration or Christmas awareness rather I see it that, it was and is as a result of the awareness of another means of money called digital currency or better known by others as cryptocurrency or cryptos.

As we know therefore, bitcoin is the first and has started a bullish journey already, it had no choice than to touch the all time high of $20,000 plus, stringing some good profit to the optimist, disciplines and believers of the coin (some lucky pessimist would have been lucky though )  Grin

To disabuse our mind that the growth of bitcoin wasn't just a festive awareness but the awareness of digital currency, that is why we have not seen the coin crashing. After all, Christmas has gone.
4287  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Setting up Business for 50-100K Weekly BTC transaction on: January 25, 2018, 11:07:05 AM
You raised three issues in your 3 paragraph write-up.

First, you didn't clearly state if you want to register a company but the word corporate in business environment connotes company or unit. So, if you want to operate a company, simply approach the organization responsible for registering a company based on the appropriate Act/statute. And, I think if you want to open a bitcoin wallet account you can do that.

Then, talking about the final point about the legal and tax advice, you have to understand that if you have a dual business running concurrently in different countries where tax is levied, you have a choice to choose where you want your tax allegiance to dually or you pay differently.
4288  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Has anyone sold BTC won here in sig campaigns? how does tax work? on: January 25, 2018, 06:36:56 AM
I have been selling my bitcoins earned from signature campaigns for more than a year now and never faced any problems with it. I sell them to local merchants in Localbitcoins.com and get the funds in my desired bank account and then i cash them out on ATM. There are no regulations regarding Bitcoin in my country and maybe that is the reason why i was never bothered by the bank or any authorities, but someone might have to answer a few questions if there are regulations implemented on Bitcoin in their country.

This may be ok if you are just dealing with small amount of sales, but let's say in 10 years 1 BTC is worth $1,000,000

How do you cash out $1,000,000 or any other amount near that? you can't do it through localbitcoins, you would need a million different merchants to cash out that much money.

Also there's no way to buy a house without going through the taxman. You may be ok cashing out a small amount to buy a new phone, but im talking about buying real state with bitcoin gains. In this case, you are going to need to explain the origin of your coins, and im not sure how I would explain I made some BTC posting in some internet forum, this may not be convincing to them even if it's the truth. They are too paranoid of anything bitcoin related.

This is also the area I'm looking at OP's worries - huge sum of fiat money transferred into an account, especially where it is above the stipulated amount for individual account.

Meanwhile on the other hand, I think to convince the authority about where the source of the money came from wouldn't be a difficult task, the authorities have a way of verifying facts because this forum is legitimate and some authorities are away of it themselves.

The point however is, if huge money transferred to an "unmerited" account as regarding specified amount for an individual account, it would then raise the curiosity of the government.
4289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why this sharp drop in currencies ? on: January 23, 2018, 07:19:22 PM
What is simply going on in the market is just uncertainty especially with bitcoin, that then is giving altcoin some panic. Off course we should expect this dull moment for cryptos because bitcoin is the supreme.

Also, it should be expected after the whole bullish run withnessed from bitcoin. The shielding will continue until the fears go off.

4291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin - altcoin on: January 22, 2018, 07:07:56 PM
I just started with buying some crypto coins and have a lot to learn.

But almost every time when Bitcoin is up, al lot of the other coins also go up. And the moment Bitcoin drops , the other coins also drop. Is this just a coincidence or is htis how it always works? Can someone explain this to me?

Do not burg yourself much about the movement of bitcoin and how it causes same movement in altcoins. What is important is that you make a research before buying a coin and if you are certain about what you have researched on, you go for it.

The market is usually controlled by news, thats fundamentals. So, if an altcoin is to make a huge bullish shift, bitcoin won't stop it and the market would continue as if nothing happened.

4294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bloodbath on: January 21, 2018, 09:27:33 AM
I suppose that people who are crying bloodbath on bitcoin are people who invested wrongly. They misjudged the market, expected it to keep going bullish while at $19,000 or thereabout, the market was looking for a resistance level. The fall is appropriate and much expected and accepted. It has let of some fake flesh or economically called bubbles, now is entry time again before it gets to $13,000.

If we remember last year that at 13,000, it took some time before it broke lose to $15,000. The market has settled down now. I don't expect a sharp move upward like we saw in December.

So, is not a bloodbath for bitcoin to me but a correction time.
4295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it the end...? on: January 21, 2018, 08:44:24 AM
2018, IMO, will be the year of non-minables vs minables.

Currently the non-minables (and utility coins like ETH) are taking their lion's share of the market.

Do you agree with this assessment?

My major question is: Do you believe that the "new coins" (we all know exactly which these are) will take over the old coins?

(1) For instance, BCH (let's call it old since it is a BTC fork) 4th place is being beseiged by Cardano, XML, New Economy. They just killed LTC, which is dropping like a rock.

(2) DASH has been knocked down by those said coins^ and trampled over by TRX.

(3) Currently, XRP is going to assassinate the king, which is BTC. Will XRP succeed?

What will happen in your opinion? I personally have a pretty wide range of investments. No XRP though, that's for sure.

New coins come and go but which have serious projects and the developers are serious about their project will only survive. About XRP assassinate the king BTC, which i think highly impossible but in life anything can happen.

Nope, I also do not agree that XRP would be the coin to take over the king - bitcoin. As far as I can see, XRP won't go pass $8 this year ,that is - if it didn't fissle out with the wind.

Ethereum has the tendencies, also Monero. They have good supply and usage too.
4296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I will do? on: January 20, 2018, 06:50:50 PM
Investment generally is suppose to be for people who have the heart to withstand financial ups and downs.

Moreso, cryptography market is highly volatile and it moves can up actually cause one weak and inexperienced investor to be worried . Hence, for this kind of investment, we need to understand that the market moves up and also down to take its position. So, at every point in time that it either takes a bullish nor bearish position, it does something to investors portfolio  Huh, depending on the position we are at the time.

The reds in our wallet don't really mean it would stay that way permanently, it was also gives a space for exit when you understand that you are not in the favourable position of the market .

Meanwhile, such red times are best time to cash in on some buy order to prospective coins too.
4297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price fall after ICO on: January 19, 2018, 02:53:04 PM
The solution to falling tokens after icos has not been to buy after ico but to research on the token you want to invest on even before the ico and be certain you are heading for a good investment.

Believe it or not, some investors would always off load their tokens as soon as it gets into an exchange, so the dump will always be there.

A good coin will always recover after the dump and unprogressive coin might not be able to get back from the pressure from dumping. This is the reason you don't see some coins again after enlisting.
4298  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Using Bitcoin and altcoins when under 18 on: January 18, 2018, 10:51:50 PM
As has opined by majority of writers here, I also think that exchange sites did not make any restrictions or limit to bar any category of persons to register on their sites not even lunatics.

Logically however, the reason for no restrictions or bars as the case maybe is that bitcoin is seen and operated as fiat and off course, there are no bars on people who are to make use of fiats. So, why would there be bars on the people to use or register for the accessibilities or for the purpose of bitcoin?

Also, another cogent reason for no restrictions yet as to age or capacity of investors on registrations to exchange sites in my view is that, there has not been any "strong" ban on bitcoin by a country or even if there have been and because of the decentralized nature of bitcoin, it has arm twisted such proposed "ban". Thus, the exchange sites has to go on with normal business. For the records however, I have not witnessed age restrictions myself.

Hence legally, Equality is Equity. No restrictions to the use of fiat for both old and young. This is the major reason I think that also arm twisted any bars as to age to the use of bitcoin.
4299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not-well-known yet privacy coins? on: January 18, 2018, 04:27:21 PM
I see LTG doing well this year at least driving to $1 by third quarter of this year. Is it fluctuating at 20/21 satoshi at the moment with good supply too, below 100million.

Also, etn will be a nice buy 12cent, dipping from 18cent.
4300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM WILL WORTH $10000 on: January 18, 2018, 10:37:43 AM
at the moment it is too hard for ethereum can reach $10000
the price of ethereum $3000 is possible in this year, but to reached $10000 is very hard.

If it had that good bullish since last February when bitcoin was the admiration of most investors, It can replicate the same fit this year and even more ,now that investors are choosing to diversify their transaction and also investments with the extra high fees of bitcoin transactions.

Something called instinct still tells me that ethereum will increase as getting to $10,000 by the end of this year.

For instance , looking at the statistics, bitcoin was around $800 by January 2017 and ethereum has already gone pass that. It will do better than bitcoin this year in churning out profit to investors because it is beginning to be preferred by investors including ICOs . This could be the year of ethereum.  Shocked
