Yea , but I made that prediction before the qualifiers and I gave tokeweed a good reason not to pick Kimi and I hope he did not pick him. Grin

Are you ready for the race ? I call it now! Max Verstappen will win! Ham will not reach top 3 , nor will Bottas and I believe in a podium for Norris or Sainz.

Oh...  But I did!  I just couldn’t help myself.  Rofl.  Cheesy

Anyway, I think some lines that could have some value could be  the ‘who finishes with points’ market aka the top 10.  I think Alonso was lined at 5 or something.  It’s looking like the teams to finish with points consistently are Merc, RBR, McLaren, Ferrari and Alpine.

^  It was a decent card... Brown vs Kamaka was a banger and so were Merab vs Stamann and Cutelaba vs Jacoby even though they went to decision.

The main and the co main were great as expected.  But I didn’t expect Chikadze to finish Swanson so quick...  with a liver shot.  Lol.  The under 2.5 rounds had decent value at 2.65.

^  Nice.  Congrats tomahawk.  First round’s on you.  Grin

I’m watching Newcastle vs the Gunners right now...  Not sure why I thought half time draw was such a good bet for this one.  Lol.  NUFC is down a goal and no chance of getting one in by the looks of it.  Cheesy

What does everyone think of this bet:  Russell to finish with points (to finish top 10) priced at 2.85.  He said that he’s going to push really hard to get a point during an interview.

Value or could be better?
4285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 01, 2021, 01:39:02 PM
^  Aguero still has it.  I wish Pep would let him play in the more important matches for the club even if it’s just as a sub.  But a super sub.  Grin  It’s always good to have a player of his calibre in Pep’s back pocket just in case the team needs to get out of a rut.  Kinda like how Drogba was in his last couple of years with Chelsea.
4286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blue Horse Shoe Loves SXP on: May 01, 2021, 12:13:39 PM
Anybody still holding their SXP bags?  Wink  It’s one of the coins that got left behind but by the looks of it this week, it’s gonna be its turn to go way past its ath.  Some respected traders seem to see this go to 50 USD...  I wouldn’t have thought it would be possible a couple of months ago but seeing how it was bought up this week, it’s very possible...

And the funny thing is it hasn’t even gone parabolic yet.
4287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 01, 2021, 12:04:29 PM
Is it just me or does Aguero look fat out there.  Lol.  I’m not sure if it’s my stream or what but the rest of the players look fine.  I mean seriously, he looks stocky and his legs look bigger than they did before.  Cheesy

And it’s pretty interesting Pep played him at the no. 10 role with Jesus up front leading the attack.
4288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 30, 2021, 06:05:17 PM
^  For football?  I don’t think so.  Guys like Ibra and a couple others are def the exception imho.  They’re freak athletes who could push it for more years past their prime than most players.  Ronaldo is another freak athlete.
4289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 30, 2021, 05:36:06 PM
Found what could be a value bet for Starcraft/Broodwar.  Rush vs Sorry next Tuesday.  Sorry at 2.45 is a pretty good spot imho.  Rush is known to suck at Terran vs Terran match ups and Sorry did really good in his group of 24 matches finishing first in his group.

Edit:  Looking at Rush’s offline results, he could be improving...
4290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 30, 2021, 04:48:19 PM
Real - Manchester City is gonna be the final IMO.
Real wants to get consolidate the stellar positioning they have as the award competition winning team (no other team is near them with Champions Leauge) while City is ready to become the next top team in Europe for the next 5 years (which is usually the max cycle for a given team).
Man City is my fav at the moment.

Yup it better be.  I don’t mind both EPL clubs there tho.  Cheesy

And if City goes to the final, I’m going to say it again:  We should see Aguero play, esp if it’s vs Real Madrid.  I think they’ll need a pure striker in Aguero up there leading the attack than a false 9 in KDB.

I made bet that Kimi Raikonnen will win ‘group 3’ in qualifying.  I didn’t think that Williams would have the pace.  But looking at both FP1 and FP2, it looks like I’m throwing my money away again.  Lol.  That former WRC VW super team working on the Williams could be legit.

^  They both do.  Vettori could use the same strategy as Blackowicz did.  Get Adesanya working and a little tired then wrestle and take him down.  Adesanya has nothing on his back.  And don’t forget that Vettori already fought Adesanya to a close decision a couple of years ago.

Kimi Raikonnen winning at group 3 in quali priced at 3.1 seems like value.  Need some inputs from you guys before making the bet and while FP1 hasn’t started.  Both Williams finishing above him at the last quali seems like an anomaly and flukish to me.  What do you guys think?

4294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2021, 08:37:40 PM
what a goalkeeper from PSG. he really fits in well with schalke 04 . the shot was really to be held. with this much luck, City will easily make it to the final  Grin
paris plays some really good football. and Man City is scoring the goals. strange game tonight
edit: and now another red card against paris. not a good night for PSG

^  Wtf.  Luck?  That was a screamer by Mahrez.  Did you see the ball get past the wall?  It was brilliant!

Edit:  Wow that red card..  He could end somebody’s football career doing that.  PSG is breaking down.  They crumbled right after Mahrez’s goal.  Cheesy
4295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2021, 07:59:46 PM
PSG is playing really well, they deserve their lead at half time. If they continue playing like this, City will have to improve drastically if they want to score.

Guardiola surprised me with the lineup today, I know they are playing without strikers most of the season but I think it is a mistake to play De Bruyne upfront, away from the game. He's one of the best when playing with his body towards the goal and is really struggling tonight.

^  PSG is owning them everywhere!  And from the looks of it, Poch is taking something from Klopp’s playbook...  Blocking passing lanes and making it hard for City to start the play from the back as they always do.

Time to unleash El Kun!!!

Seems like football fans all around the world will be with City tonight and this is the reason I will go with PSG because I simply cannot see City to move into the final and win UCL but on the other side PSG played with Barcelona and defeat them , then they played with the champs Bayern and defeat them too and now they're facing a team who is for the first time in their history in the semi-finals of UCL so they will defeat City aswell.

I rarely saw a team who beat 2 favorites to loose any tourney , not only in football but in all the important sports.

My prediction : 1-0 PSG.

It’s hard to get a read on which side wins this one but I feel like it’s going to be BTTS and the over 2.5 goals.  I got it just now at 1.97.  It’s not much value but I think it’s more than 50/50 to happen.  I think...  I suck at these btw.  Cheesy

Nice to see Aguero on the bench.  Hope he comes in ftw.  Grin

^  No way any athlete is coming back from an injury like that at 37 years old.  And he was due to retire or at least his UFC contract not renewed if he lost vs Akhmedov.  But he won.  I bet against him that time.  Lol.  Cheesy  But yeah...  Weidman has become a low level gate keeper as of late.
4299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 28, 2021, 05:49:06 PM
Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag is the new favorite to be the next Spurs manager after Nagelsmann was earmarked to be next Bayern manager.  Other than seeing him beat Real Madrid at the KO stage of the CL a couple or so years ago and beating Juve at the quarter finals, I really don’t know much about him.  He any good?

Check the odds here:  https://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/tottenham/next-permanent-manager

Sarri, Rodgers and Nuno are among the top favorites according to the bookies...  I kinda like Eddie Howe to be next Spurs manager.  He’s due to manage a bigger club.

It’s funny to me seeing how Hazard is such a flop at Real and he’s wearing the ‘number 7’.  I wish he never have left Chelsea.
