It seems that Fees are > Gain
 FInally found the problem. It is not an error, but the result of "Always Create Pong Orders" checked (is checked by default), and having CAT Running on markets with small difference (like 1-2 satoshi) from best sell price/best buy price. I Will write something about in the code. To avoid this problems, De-Check "Always Create Pong" when you work on this kind of markets. |

io non mi ci metto neanche perche non sono tanto convinto che l'idea di minare all'inizio sia cosi profiquo e poi è da verificare se nella pagina target ci siano tutte riunite le cose che mi servono. Personalmente riguardo le cryptomonete aggiungerei che potrebbe essere utile guardarsi il sito http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/ da cui si vede che alcune cryptomonete di vecchia data hanno avuto finora un comportamento ciclico (in parecchi mesi). E se siamo fortunati, potrebbe ripetersi lo stesso andamento nel futuro. Purtroppo non si tratta di convinzione ma di pura matematica. SE la moneta finisce su un exchanger, minare subito spesso significa grande ROI. Può succedere che una moneta venga piantata li e qualche super-fedele mini per mesi a difficoltà bassissima e tutto ad un tratto la moneta risale (ma è un caso raro rispetto al classico di essere un "early adopter") Il sito che linki, rappresenta la fine della mia guida, quella in cui la moneta arriva e prende il suo prezzo di mercato. Tutto ciò di cui parlo (o buona parte di esso) avviene PRIMA. |

no only min. guaranteed x.yy %Gain (and the funny -> the general log has gone empty and now new from beginning..) error log is only Force Algo Restart, Last Lookup Was 18 minutes ago

strange: with LEAF/BTC I have negative gain  bought @0.0...xx and sold @0.0...xx (same price) Have you set some sell all parameters? Could you give me the Buy/Sell values? %Gain? |

Sampey, there’s one thing I don’t understand with CAT. Let’s say I have 1000 coins on my account and I don’t want to touch it, just wan’t to keep them, so I just set a buy order for 100. CAT works, I have gain but after a while in my balance I have 900 coins and 300 held for order. How can this happen? Shouldn’t CAT leave this 1000 alone and trade just 100 bought in the first trade?
Hum well, CAT works like this, sometimes it happens some round for the min order quantity, maybe is your case. |

the block source 172.248.73.130 is now working with new release v0.9.1 and sync with the pool at chi.ispace.co.uk with latest block 5095
resolved the no block source issue by first use the 0.9.0 version to sync at block source 172.248.73.130 and it will update to latest block
and close v0.9.0 client and open and run updated release v0.9.1
ALWAYS backup ur wallet before doing any upgrade !! wallet.dat and peer .dat

No Remove all trade remove all trade in CAT. From trades born PONG. Close it means "Cancel" In the next days i will rewrite some parts of the guide |

Thank you Sampey. Things like this might seem obvious to you, but not me (and maybe others). I have to give you kudos on a few things. You are always quick to support your product - through the forum as well as frequent updates.
If I could make one suggestion on the product, it would be nice to have some visual indication that we are waiting on Cryptsy. For example when you are clicking Check Current Status. Sometimes it takes a second, most of the time it takes 5-10 seconds, and sometimes over a minute. If there was some sort of spinner or counter when you click a button that is waiting on the Cryptsy API, it would be easier to tell that we are waiting and we don't need to keep clicking (or in my case, hover over different buttons to see what a button that I can click on looks like compared to a button that is waiting.

Thanks The thing you are ask me is not possible because a visual indication is possible when i have X task to do (ex 4 task 25% - 50% - 75% - 100%) But when the API Call Starts there's no way to understand how much time does it takes, so i cannot create an indicator because there's no task from the start call and the response PS : i prefer that you post here, in the main topic : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=329168.0This is a shit thread of a scammer. |

Can you "sanity" check the current API result with the last x results and discard the current result if it is out of "normal"?
It would be better to skip the polling interval than create a bad order.

I must be doing something very wrong then. I keep watching my bitcoin balance drop each day. By about 2% a day. Basically I am having the same issue as the OP.
CATS is telling me that I am making about .05 - .075 BTC a day on about 3 BTC in play in over 20 markets. But I just end up with lots of coins that have lost value. I tried to add a sell if ref price drops under 10% and then CATS started giving me lots of negative gains.
I understand if no one wants to tell me their strategies, but I could use some pointers. Each of my markets is set to .6 or .8 % min gain. Right now I only have the sell side of each order since each time I upgrade to the latest CATS, I have to setup the orders again and since most of my coins are in alt's, I don't have the BTC to keep buying additional alts.
Any help would be appreciated as I have lost at least 1 BTC so far over the last 2 months.
Try to determine High/Low values of each markets every day. If you find a markets that reach values X (Max) and value Y (Min) you could determine % Difference between this 2 markets (ex 15%) and then set a Buy Order when value is near MIN or a sell order when value is near MAX. 0.6-08 % Is very little gain, this could work only on some markets, on a markets like LTC/BTC you could set 2%-5% |

I've seen the above behavior also. Where CAT tried to buy a large amount of coin at a really low price. It's when Cryptsy API return is bad or unsorted. Sampey has been working on sorting the API return upon it's return to avoid such a case and should be fixed in this version.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

All in 1 TAB? not necessarily. even on one per market. i am asking because today i found several weird orders on cryptsy created today by my C.A.T. 3.6. Such strange orders were like buy at prices 10X lower than market and sell at 10X higher price and did not appear in my ping-pong tabs, only on my Cryptsy account. That's why I would like to see in C.A.T. all my open orders, to check if there is anything wrong. BTW: any explanation for those weird orders would be appreciated Well actually your orders are in 2 separate Tab Ping/Pong Orders with Strange values could be a bad api return, i will check about this |
