Nobody want to see a day old baby running, all good things takes time to mature, lets give dnotes some time a week or 2, the popularity and value will increase when traded on more than 1 exchange. In the mean time i am keeping my precious dnotes jealously.

LazyCoins will be launched in a matter of minutes/hours and DNotes will be traded there. I expect them to become on of the largest alt exchanges. I think it's more than enough for coin, which is so young.
4282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXE] Execoin - Fast | ASIC resistant | Multipool resistant | no-premine on: March 02, 2014, 07:19:06 PM
what is the difference to Vertcoin? I see no major change or benefit compared to VTC?

Execoin has a number of differences. It's faster and has more reasonable schedule of N-factor increase. Unlike Vertcoin, we've made our own N-factor schedule, not cloned or taken from anywhere else. If you look at sources, you will find lot of differences.

But yes, both Vertcoin and Execoin are ASIC-resistant and based on the same principle of ASIC-resistance.

I really like the coin and even bought some, but I am a bit worried about diff re-target time.

Pool owners... what's going on? Stales, lost shares etc...

well, i settled on guiminer. currently running 270kh/s solomining. i appreciate the help, maybe ill take another crack at it in a day or two. when i mine my first block ill be sure to forward you 10EXE Wink

Ah, don't bother man.. I'm glad if I can help. Smiley
4285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXE] Execoin - Fast | ASIC resistant | Multipool resistant | no-premine on: March 02, 2014, 09:17:52 AM
wow cryptsy is totally premature lol the coin has 3 days haha. Also, cryptsy and coined up are crap now, they kill all coins, poloniex or mintpal is better for a coin to mature and rise.

Exchanges don't kill coins - miners and dumpers do. Cryptsy just has more volume and greedy dumpers jumps on those fat buy orders.

no, radeon 7950

Try those settings:

pool 0 slow/down or URL credentials invalid

Currently I am mining at http://exe.poolz.net/ and it seems that it is the only working pool, despite several interuptions.

P.S. Dev? I think that pools need to be optimized, because people can't mine at peace. Smiley

ive been trying to figure out how to get the exeminer to integrate with cgwatcher... if it can at all... i pointed cgwatcher to exeminer.exe and exe.conf, here is the conf:

{
"api-allow" : "W:127.0.0.1",
"api-listen" : true,
"api-mcast-port" : "9988",
"api-port" : "9988",
"no-submit-stale" : true,
"scan-time" : "1",
"scrypt" : true,
"auto-fan" : true,
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"gpu-engine" : "1075",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"intensity" : "13",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "3",
"shaders" : "2048",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192"
}

after i run the miner the gpu will not hash, but my pc will slow down as if it was at intensity 18... wierd... any help appreciated

Change lookup-gap to 2 and TC to 16k. Then try again.
no go, cgwatcher stopped responding and i ended up having to restart my pc... and now the wallet doesnt want to start up, says the application requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way

What's you gpu? 280X?

Differences between Execoin and, say, Vertcoin are in modifications of the algorithm. Execoin has faster block time and so the faster confirmation of the transactions. Execoin's N-factor schedule was created from scratch, we have the next change of N way earlier than Vertcoin to be ahead of newer ASICs.

I've been trying to figure out whether exeminer is basically just vertminer renamed, and this still doesn't make it clear. Are there any differences from the point of view of the miner? Can I use vertminer to mine execoin?

Yes, you can. I'm using vertminer 0.5.3..

idk, but pools are not working properly...

nice coin Grin
whether it is realistic that the 1 coin price reached $ 2?

It will take months for that to happen. And of course, it will happen if devs are working hard and the community is helping. The coin is pretty easy to mine atm and there will be a lot of dumpers.

Trading over through market.
4294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NOTE]DNotes - LAUNCHED!!! - Cryptocurrency of the Future on: March 01, 2014, 03:04:48 PM
Dnotes needs to be way valuable than the actual price.
I think (regarding the mining difficulty and the mount mined) that this coin has been underevaluated.

Shame.

It's a shame for those who are in hurry to make some fast BTC's. People like me are happy buying dnotes at 214 satoshi. Smiley
4295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NOTE]DNotes - LAUNCHED!!! - Cryptocurrency of the Future on: March 01, 2014, 02:29:52 PM
We will be seeing DNotes in cryptsy very soon!

Atm is highly unlikely.
4296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [WTB] 5-10k EXECoin on: March 01, 2014, 09:10:25 AM
Hello,

I want to buy about 5-10k execoins. I can offer TiPS, XIV, VTC, LTC or EBT.
P.S. I can offer BTC too, but I don't have any atm and I prefer not to sell my coins for BTC.
P.S.2. Please send offers with PM.
4297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXE] Execoin - Fast | ASIC resistant | Multipool resistant | no-premine on: March 01, 2014, 07:12:49 AM
I really like the name and logo of the coin, but I think that website is looking a bit messy and can be done better.
4298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NOTE]DNotes - LAUNCHED!!! - Cryptocurrency of the Future on: February 28, 2014, 04:06:55 PM

I did one trade there and everything was fine. I kept 0.25BTC there for like 24hrs.
4299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NOTE]DNotes - LAUNCHED!!! - Cryptocurrency of the Future on: February 28, 2014, 12:10:31 PM
I don't get it. Who is that idiot who sells NOTEs a little over 300 satoshi?

idk about that, but I bought 120k at 214 satoshi. Soon I am going to be rich! Cheesy

tried the windows wallet meanwhile.
I found no configuration for PoS minting. what do I have to do? Is it automatically on?

Yes. Just leave the wallet unlocked and everything will be done automatically. You even don't need to keep the wallet open, but don't lock it.
