I hope to invest in this wonderful project.
the price is down i think its a right time to invest in sonm project now
this project have a great future SONM team is working great
latest news from sonm is Faceter and SONM are pleased to announce the start of a technical cooperation.

i think sonm will be a very huge in the mid of 2018
i am holding my sonm for long term

It'll be bigger in the middle of 2019 I believe, in 2018 they'll release the working product but it's gonna need time to really stretch all over the globe. The more companies start working with Sonm, the more valuable the shares will be. I'm thinking at least 5$ a coin by 2019
I'm actually thinking of flipping some of my SONM into hardware to rent out on the platform to support the project once we crack $1 to $3. Going to have to wait to see some numbers so I can properly estimate the outcomes though.
Yes $5 in 2019 is possible but if we keep on holding our coins. In all altcoins there are weak hands that spoil  price
I'm definitely holding most of my SONM for decades. I expect it to become one of the tech giants in a decade from now, and if it doesn't I'm still willing to take the risk because of the hard work that they are putting in.

However, I am considering cashing out some profits so I can buy GPUs to rent out with SONM to support growth more directly, and maybe make some extra profits that way too who knows.
4282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | unofficial supporters topic on: November 03, 2017, 11:49:48 PM
Nice to see that Waves is recovering very strong today. Over 14 % in the last 24 hours is very impressing. It seems we are reaching out for 4$ per coin very soon. This project is a must have.
Well, it was hovering around this value for months. So it really neither gained nor lost anything.
4283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: █【ANN】【ICO】█【PRE-SALE】 🌟 【SOLD OUT】 ██ 🌟 BLOCKLANCER ██ JOIN GIG ECONOMY BOOM on: November 03, 2017, 11:49:00 PM
those freelancers working through your platform, will they get paid in your tokens only?
They will be able to get paid in various cryptocurrencies and perhaps even fiat eventually.

When it comes it dispute resolution by voting on your blockchain, is there a minimum number of votes required to make a decision valid? What if an expected large group of token holders refrains from voting at all?

There will always be votes in our token tribunal. People will vote because they'll receive a payment for that Smiley

In this way our token holders make profit holding the LNC token and help by solving disputes.
What if the votes turn out extremely close? Or even result in a draw?

We will always have the exact results, it is very difficult to yo have an exact draw. But if something like that happens the platform holders will find a solution.
How about forcing the amount of voters in the tribunal to be an uneven number to avoid draws?

Of course, that is a way, but I still don't know how exactly this will work.
Hi,
That really a great question.
Should a draw or a close result happen both parties (freelancer+client) have the option to restart the dispute. Most likely the amount of voters was just too low for a valid result.
We are also thinking about a higher instance tribunal to solve such disputes. (freelancer+client are able to execute it after the first dispute)
Also note 90% of the disputes on current websites are very very easy to decide. (Freelancer hadn't finished the job, client doesn't marks the job as completed -> disappeared, Freelancer isn't responding, Freelancer hadn't completed the project before a milestone/deadline, Undeserved bad review from client/freelancer)

Best regards,
The Blocklancer Team
Thanks for the responses.
I had a hunch that that's what most disputes would end up being like, I just tend to like to think about the fringe cases before they occur. Very interesting to see some actual numbers about the dispute cases though!

What would the higher instance tribunals look like?

those freelancers working through your platform, will they get paid in your tokens only?
Hi,
Thanks for the question.
On the Blocklancer platform freelancer are paid in Ether. We also plan to accept Tether(USDT) to reduce the risk of price fluctuations of Ether.
Everything else would be just too big of a hassle for everyone involved. Many people already own Ether why should we use something else?

The biggest advantage of the Lancer Token is that the Token Holder receive 100% of the fees. On top of that the Token Holder are allowed to vote on disputes.

Best regards,
The Blocklancer Team
Have you heard anything about the US regulations that end up treating "profit sharing schemes" as "securities" and thus deeming them illegal, making them unlistable on some of the larger exchanges (in the US)?

And does this concern Blocklancer in any way or would the platform simply operate under a legislature where this problem does not occur in the first place?
4284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: November 03, 2017, 11:39:02 PM
Looks cool. I want to try this system out
The cards are definitely gorgeous, but we still need to wait and see what will be done about the removal of the asset contract. At least they are listening, but I still find it strange that they did not anticipate this reaction.

I will stick with my philosophy of buy low, sell high  Grin Cheesy

That is right buy low and sell high. That is also the most basic of my cryptocurrency trading beliefs that I still cherish, actually the only philosophy I can rely on. If altcoins are very low, then research and pick on one that you can be sure can bring good profits.
Wasn't crypto all about buy high sell higher and buy back even higher? Cheesy

Dogecoin is just for fun. you should choose another coin to invest such as ETH, BTC, Monero,...And you also buy some Dogecoin like souvenirs. Cheesy
What a nice way to put it lol
4288  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: November 03, 2017, 11:35:24 PM
Cash will be never extinct while people use. I think after 100 years it would be possible but now not. Bitcoin is still weak it needs to grow to 50k at least.

So people will know that its strong and that its not a weak scam coin.
100 years may not really still be possible. Definitely, it could be possible in some places with no demand for cash and with access to technology but would definitely be slower in some places with lower infrastructure since you will have to pretty much be online to transact without cash.

So, all this put into place would make it not go into extinction anytime soon and even longer than 100 years in some countries.
Don't underestimate human progress. It keeps accelerating at incredible paces. It took less than two decades to go from wired overpriced phones and no internet to smart phones with high speed internet in almost every pocket. These smart phones are stronger than the super computers used to fly to the moon too!
And with human level AI on the horizon it progress will speed up even more once that breakthrough occurs, which only hinges on more computing power - which we will see in the next decades.

Money might be a thing of the past entirely in the next century the way things are progressing right now.

Wallet coming "soon" according to Ton Bi on Slack.
I hope that this  "soon" does really mean that the release will be within the 2-3 days delay as said by devs (no later than tomorrow).
Please don't delay this again Undecided
Just relax. The really interesting feature is the decentralized exchange anyways. The wallet itself, while nice, is not why anyone should be invested in NVO.
4290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jesus Coin? on: November 03, 2017, 11:31:23 PM
Jesus Coin is limited in its appeal! The majority of the world follows a religion other than Christianity and the centralized nature of the Catholic church has proven to be a problem throughout its history. The crusades, molestation scandals, and tax evasion are all things that happen under the church.

I have consulted with major deities and have concluded that we must decentralize religion and spirituality forever! http://pietycoin.net/

Will it bring me enlightenment though?
4291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next 5 year for Bitcoin on: November 03, 2017, 10:01:53 PM
Ah I see. That's why I dislike trading. If you want to do it manually you need years of experience to not lose money, and I don't feel like spending years to practice manual trading. I'm working on a bot for daytrading since I will be able to use the programming and Math skills that I learn from that for other projects as well, while trading would only be useful for trading. And I don't want to sit at my computer 24/7 for the rest of my life to trade some digital assets.
But anyways, if that was your experience maybe try investing in some altcoins for the long run? Even a small portion of your Bitcoins could help you significantly increase your profits, and investing is a very useful skill since the thought process required to do it successfully is useful for learning anything in this world.

Yeah that's true, maybe I'll just set aside like half a bitcoin for some long term altcoin investing and see how that goes. I would really like to eventually make back the coins, so we'll see! I'm not doing anything though until I see some signs of growth from the altcoin market again - hopefully after the fork it'll start to grow again.
Just be careful not to buy any pumped coins. A lot of people buy in during hypes and then get surprised when they end up losing money when all the long term holders start cashing out some profits.
4292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves hold for longterm Good or Not? on: November 03, 2017, 09:59:38 PM
hello dear fellow investors,
I have a newbie but a practical question and hope someone can answer me this:
Ive bought WAVES on BITTREX. I have installed that waves lite app for chrome. How can I transfer waves from bittrex to that app/wallet? When I go to DEPOSIT on WAVES in that app it says that I can only buy waves with euro/usd and no deposit wallet address just to send waves? Isnt that funny or am I doing something wrong?
You have an address, that you can see at the top of your wallet. When you click it a popup will appear in the top right corner saying: "Notice! Address copied successfully". Send your Waves there from Bittrex.
4293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2017, 09:57:41 PM
Don't understand why anyone would buy anything with bitcoin given the fees and upward trend. Seems like throwing away money to me

I guess the fees will decrease with segwit full support and lightning network implementation. It will soon be possible to buy coffee with bitcoin
Are the decreased fees really going to be that much lower?
4294  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If we can educate our kids at home why do we need to send them at school? on: November 03, 2017, 08:07:19 PM
parents can teach their children basic things a child must learn or know during his/her childhood but not all parents know everything, more important things must be learned by children in order for them to learn how to cope up with life and for them to use it for their future and it can only be learned if parents send their children to school
perhaps well-developed countries, where all families live in abundance, it is possible such an option. When a child can be brought up at home or hired caregivers at home. But in other situations, when parents are forced to work, children receive education and upbringing in kindergartens and schools. This is normal for today.
Parents aren't really forced to work when they have children though. They just have their priorities backwards. It's much more sensible to secure your finances first and then have children. But uneducated and shortsighted people have kids first and then complain about all the problems they didn't anticipate.
4295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2017, 08:05:47 PM
According to a newsletter from The James Altucher Report, Amazon will soon begin accepting Bitcoin, which they will officially announce as early as October 26th during their earnings conference call.
It's November.
Yep,  and they aren't going to accept it anytime soon haha.
Probably concerned with the high transaction fees. I doubt Amazon would use Bitpay or something like that (unless they acquire it). They're most likely trying to create their own solution, which takes time.

I'm pretty sure you are. I do think that most altcoins will just die, but it does take a long time to create anything. Just look at how long it took for Ethereum to pop off. It was flat for like half a year and took roughly two years to moon. And even that was very fast already.

I only asked for a fucking wallet, nothing more...
Is it that hard?
Not really what you did:

Project dead?

Dev gone for holidays?

Thanks for answering my question by the way, you don't have any idea how much effort it takes to create something from ground up because you never have yourself.

They did the ico, so they can get money to complete their project.
Supposedly, they had some project planning.
All I see is a delay, some cheap excuses and nothing else.
Meanwhile, you stupid fuck, btc has doubled, eth has fallen, and all hell has broken loose...
You think the alt-community will wait for your broken deadlines for long? The coin is plain dead....

If by altcoin community you mean impatient clueless coin flippers, then nobody gives a damn about them. Scammy coins will die, and those that produce real products will get your "community" flocking back like moths to light once they're ready. You clearly don't understand how the real world works and how long it takes to create commercially viable products, but enjoy flexing anyways. It's entertaining.
4299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next 5 year for Bitcoin on: November 03, 2017, 06:31:52 PM
Hey, to each his own! We've all got our own predictions. I feel extremely confident in bitcoin being over $100k in five years. I'd surprised if it isn't 6 digits in five years.
Would you bet all of your money on that though?

haha since when are we betting all our money on the price?
I wouldn't bet all my money on any specific price prediction on bitcoin or anything else in the world.

But I will say I feel 90% sure the price will be over $100k in 5 years (personally I think it will probably happen in 4 years around the end of 2021). And I do plan to hold most of my bitcoin until the price is $100k, at which point I'll slowly start selling in order to diversify my portfolio, and I expect to start doing this in less than 5 years.
Interesting approach, I've gone the opposite way. Went with altcoins until I cracked $1000k then started diversifying into safer assets like Bitcoin and stocks. Probably add some real estate as well.

cool good job. I messed around with altcoins a bit, but always eventually ended up losing bitcoin from that. So now I'm just taking my losses and sticking with the sure thing. Figure I can hit a million dollars in the next few years with the bitcoins I have now.
Did you trade or did you hold though? I don't trade because it takes too much time, messes with tax reports, and is very risky. With long-term investing I've been doing quite well though, even if it took quite a bit of effort and research to stay safe.

Yeah I traded. First I made some coin, then lost some, then made some, then the alt market crashed recently and I lost a lot.
Ah I see. That's why I dislike trading. If you want to do it manually you need years of experience to not lose money, and I don't feel like spending years to practice manual trading.
