You can trust these sites.  They have been checked out and re-checked everyday.   Smiley
4290  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free Bitcoins Listing on: August 31, 2012, 04:06:25 PM

Bitcrate is empty at the moment but lately seemed to get filled once a day.

BTCFree (currently empty) seems to go longer before it becomes empty and also seems to go longer before it gets filled, but does get filled now and then.

paperco.in's faucet relies on donations rather than ad revenue, and so can go long periods before getting filled.
It is imo more deserving of donations since it doesn't throw ads at you but instead offers an interesting bitcoin service.

Sure give your thanks to the various free bitcoin sites by clicking on their ads, which will not only get them some money but allow them to fill up their faucets and things, but if you want to support useful and innovative Bitcoin businesses consider donations to projects like paperco.in as well.

Sunshine on the face
to find a haiku lover
that uses bitcoin.

Bitcoin ( with an attempt at a Blyth-like Zen commentary )

Above noisy street
where people fumble and fret
the orange August moon

Nature is indifferent to the shallow concerns of man but also inspires his most virtuous thoughts and invention, when he is able to look beyond 'self'.
It is possible to translate the name Satoshi Nakamoto as 'he who lives in the center of wisdom'; in touch with nature and his own true nature,
where no true separation exists. Bitcoin can be like any-thing, another cause for argument and strife. But at the same time a potential tool, like
any-thing, of, and for, freedom. Freedom isn't fought for and won (seized). One merely opens their eyes and recognizes that it has been there all
along for one's choosing.

/edit  nevermind, I saw the other thread.
4296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you miners ever feel bad all pollution mining causes? on: August 29, 2012, 04:29:15 PM
All the electric you use for mining = more carbon in air. Do you feel guilty you are profiting off earths destruction through greenhouse gases?

Do you feel guilty, or a little stupid, to use a computer and the internet to complain about others waste of electricity?   Wink

...coining the term "super-user" in the process.

That was him?  He must be quite old by now.  That term has been around since like forever and is an important part of Unix-like operating systems.    Grin
