4281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you trust FB with your KYC details? on: June 20, 2019, 06:45:02 PM
I wouldn't. I don't think this coin will succeed! What do you think?
Why wouldn't you? First of all you already use facebook. So that means they already know everything about you. The more you share contents on facebook, the more they learn about. You have your profile picture, your name and all those details attached to your facebook account. So, why would you be hesitating to fill the KYC form when in the first place you already provided them with all your personal details.
And Libra is not at all like the crypto currencies we have. It is a centralized financial system like paypal that will be using the blockchain technology.
4282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to beat the household? on: June 19, 2019, 07:30:42 PM
Tell me hoestly, have you ever think about beat the household?
I first, YES, i did think about it. But never work!!
If you are talking about the house, yes I have seen people beating the house and running away with the profit. I have also seen people beating the house but comes back to play and then gets rekt by the house. In the short run, yes it is totally possible to beat the house if you are lucky enough. But in the long run, you will eventually lose to the house.
4283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? on: June 19, 2019, 07:28:03 PM
This is a simple question, but one with a much deeper meaning.

Have you ever considered the reason behind your gambling habit or in some cases addiction? Do you gamble for fun or do you gamble for potential profit?

Do you gamble because you are bored or because you have some medical condition that prevents you from going out to experience other type of entertainment?

Do you gamble, because you hope that a big jackpot will solve all your debt problems or that a big jackpot would fund your dreams?

We should always consider why we do specific things in life and if those things are constructive or damaging in some way and then evaluate our actions to prevent harmful situations.

Looking forward to your responses.  Cheesy

To be honest, you have already answered the question on your first point. People gamble to make profit. That is it. No matter what other bullshit the people say, their main goal when gambling is to make PROFIT. People who gamble for fun won't be using real money. There are lots of casino out there that provides virtual valueless money that you can play with for fun. They would have chosen that.
4284  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Bankers Say Cryptocurrencies Do Not Threat The Global Financial Stability on: June 19, 2019, 07:24:39 PM
I have always thought the same, cause I don't really see how cryptocurrency is affecting banks, though I do think that it might affect how much they make from transactions as a lot of people might starting opting for Bitcoin for making transactions. But apart from that there is no other way I think that cryptocurrency is affecting banks. If it was affecting them they would have started against it all this while and that would have led to the government stopping cryptocurrency once and for all.
They do hate bitcoin and other crypto currencies. They feel threatened by their existence. Who said they aren't against it? Even VISA started to cut ties with companies that provided cards that can be recharged using crypto currencies. There are countries were the bank closes customers account if they find any transaction related to crypto currencies. I would say this is quite normal. We all know, bank will slowly be removed from existence if crypto currencies become mainstream.
4285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the reason Amazon hasn't adopted Bitcoin? on: June 19, 2019, 07:02:08 PM
Since other tech giants like facebook are now focusing on blockchain technology and crypto currencies, there is a high chance, Amazon will do the same. Just give it some time. In the mean time, others who wants to spend on Amazon using bitcoin indirectly, the best way would be buying Amazon gift cards using crypto currencies and then using those gift cards to purchase goods from amazon.
4286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you trust FB with your KYC details? on: June 18, 2019, 09:00:18 PM
I think Facebook already have our personal information, supplying our kyc documents is only to double check it with our Facebook profiles.
The coin will succeed since Facebook is a trusted platform.
The coins might succeed due to popularity of facebook. Nothing else. Libra is going to be a centralized currency. Why would we need another centralized currency system, when we already have paypal and other e-wallet currency? If we will have to provide our details and identification then what is the difference between this system and paypal? The main goal of crypto currency was to create a decentralized platform which will give us financial freedom. We won't be getting any of those features through facebook coin.
4287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need suggestion on: June 18, 2019, 05:06:48 PM
Lots of coins, so you are confused? The just go to coinmarketcap. Look for top coins with good volume. Now choose some of the coins from the top list. Do some intensive research on those coins. Look for coins that you think has potential. Pick up some coins from there and just invest on it. I would suggest you to invest most of your capital on bitcoin to be on the safe side. Looking for peoples suggestion will just give you biased answers.
4288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be junk/trash after ban in 2 big countries on: June 18, 2019, 04:59:36 PM
There are 195 countries in the world and you really think this two countries, India and China will cause the destruction of bitcoin? Well, lol!
No. Those countries banning bitcoin won't make bitcoin trash/junk. And users will still be able to sell them on other exchanges and withdraw their fiat currency. The bans might cause slight dipping of the price but will recover faster than expected.
4289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Not Decentralized on: June 17, 2019, 06:37:01 PM
Yeah, whales do hold a large amount of bitcoin and they can somewhat cause price manipulation. But all whales do no successfully manipulate the price. Not all of them are willing to take the risk of manipulating the price and making profit. One wrong step and they might end up with a huge loss. And as time passes, we will see those coins being held by the whales being spread among different users naturally/eventually.
4290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Bitter Truth about Bounties on: June 17, 2019, 06:33:37 PM
The amount of users joining or are willing to join the bounty program is huge. But the rewards are limited. So the limited rewards are being spread among those huge number of users thus reducing the amount each of the users are joining. To be honest its not worth the time you will be spending for months. The price of the rewards will eventually fall more as the users will start to dump their rewards once the bounty program is over. Better spend your time in doing something more constructive.
4291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 15, 2019, 02:09:10 PM
I'm working on a football (soccer) betting site, and I'd like to know if it is worth the effort to add the feature to allow no-registration bets. Has it ever been a deciding factor when you pick a site to bet on?
Yeah, most people like to bet anonymously. It is actually a deciding factor when someone wants to pick a site to bet on. Since it's going to be a soccer betting site, allowing users to bet without registering to the site will actually get you more players. People would love to bet instantly on those sites without any hassle. Just make sure they can track their progress through a unique ID generated for that specific bet.
4292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Theymos start gambling now? on: June 15, 2019, 01:53:03 PM
High chances it is just some random dude from bitcointalk who is using "Theymos" as his username just for fun. I don't think theymos would use his actual username if he wanted to gamble on any crypto casino, you know, just to keep his identity safe. Or who knows, it might be the real theymos. Some nice bets he got there.
4293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I pay with Bitcoin? on: June 14, 2019, 07:44:31 PM
If you can't pay with bitcoin directly, you can always do so indirectly. You can pay for your amazon good using bitcoin. Just buy an amazon gift card using bitcoin and then purchase your things from amazon using that gift card. You can try bitrefill.com. They have plenty of gift cards, starting from Netflix and Spotify to best buy and uber cards!
4294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING AND CHARITY on: June 14, 2019, 07:22:26 PM
As a gambler I do always lose money in betting but it does not regret me because I might be able to win sometimes and that enjoy me during my free time. I have already chosen a good platform that has suited my desire like having a greater chance on winning and does not have any problems when it comes to funds deposit and funds withdrawal.

Now, I have done something that I never did before and that is by donating money to charity. Whenever I win I am not going to give some percentage of money to the charity in the hopes that I can help those individuals who are in need. I have already seen the effect and that was very heart melting knowing that many are thanking for the donations.

So, I encourage everyone especially gamblers with huge profit to share or to donate those who are in need. Besides, I get the feeling that I am bless in betting if I will share profit.

What do you think guys? Do you think that the charity had made me fortunate to win in gambling?
If you want to donate, then just donate. Why do you have to gamble and make profit to give donations to a charity? This makes no sense at all. Isn't it better to just donate money each month from your salary instead of risking your money on a casinos? If you gamble on casino, not only will you be risking and have a chance of losing all your money, but also there is a chance you will not be donating if you lose your bet.
4295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is limited supply money such as Bitcoin better than the ... on: June 14, 2019, 05:27:34 PM
Is limited supply money such as Bitcoin better over the current forms of money?

For they can be printed out more (EURO, USD etc currency) and gold can be found all over the universe.
Gold can be found, but the metal is not unlimited in existence. The concept of "scarcity" can be used here. The more the scarce something is, the higher the value of that thing will be. Look at what happened to countries that started to print money. The value fell down and became totally worthless. But since, the amount of bitcoin is limited, as more people starts to adopt it, the value will eventually go higher.
4296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties and airdrops still worth it? on: June 14, 2019, 05:23:43 PM
https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/are-bounties-and-airdrops-still-worth-the-effort/ <<< they are killing them. They think their days are over.

Thoughts?
The number of people that are joining airdrops and bounty programs is so high that the rewards that are now being distributed among these users are just worthless. They are receiving dusts. The value might seem high at the beginning, but if you fail to dump those coins at the right time, you will just get few cents and the price won't really actually rise. Again, some airdrops and bounty programs require you to send you identification. Not worth it totally.
4297  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 Dice on BTC in Telegram on: June 14, 2019, 05:14:29 PM
Just curious why someone would play bitcoin dice in telegram? There are lots of well known and popular casino out there but why would someone choose this? What kind of benefit would someone get from playing here? How will you convince people that you are not going to scam them with their money? How would someone know that the bot is not rigged at all?
4298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin is the best for trading/investing? on: June 14, 2019, 05:11:00 PM
Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask if what your favorite altcoin when it comes to trading/investing. Which altcoin is the most profitable for you? Because there are a lot of choices and I can't even decide on which one shoukd I invest.

Ps. I am new in altcoins. Thanks in advance!
You should keep in mind that investing on altcoin is actually very risky. I would suggest you to keep 50% of your investment on bitcoin to be on the safe side. The rest of your investment should go to the top well known alt coins. You can invest on other new alt coins but remember, they are very volatile and you could lose everything in the first few days. ETH, LTC, BCH and XMR are some coins i would suggest. They are quite well known and less risky. You will eventually make profit in the long run.

4299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's hard to get profit in crypto trading. on: June 13, 2019, 10:42:18 PM
Yeah it is hard to get profit from crypto trading. If it was actually very easy to make profit from trading, then everyone would quit their job and get involved into full time trading. Though, it is true that with time and experience, trading might seem more easy than before as you will start to get more familiar with the market.
The best strategy to follow is to always set a specific profit/loss goal for a day. Whenever those goals are reached, stop for that day.
4300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whats better holding many coins or fewer coins? on: June 13, 2019, 10:36:31 PM
I would say it is better to hold fewer well known coins rather than holding a lot of shit coins together. If you hold a lot of coins, there is a high chance you will lose track of your coins and their progress. Again, it also becomes hard to handle those coins (lots of wallets to take care of). Also, there are high chance of making a loss in your investment. But, if you hold fewer well known coins, then everything becomes easier from handling those coins to keep track of your profit/loss. Again, less chance of making loss, so it is less riskier to hold those coins.
