4281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: March 28, 2022, 05:57:01 AM
by the way, I also believe that in the Brasileirão games it will also be competitive and exciting
When does the Brasileirão start?
Do teams before the Brasileirão do the so-called "pre-season" or is this done in state championships?
Sunday, April 10 to Sunday, November 13.
I don't think there is going to have a pre-season because there isn't enough time for that, since we are almost at the beginning of the championship. Less than two weeks to go...

Palmeiras next games, for example, are against Sao Paulo in Campeonato Paulista for the title, against Deportivo Táchira in Libertadores da America and then on April 10, against Ceará.
4282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is going to be bad for the Indian Bitcoin community on: March 27, 2022, 06:35:54 PM
You can expect a regulation like this won't be restricted to India. Centralized exchanges and trading activity are money pots for local governments.

It's unlikely this 1% fee will impact trading volume negatively, because most traders aim and hope to make huge profit percentage, so 1% isn't a problem at first glance. After all traders end losing money, because the reality is different from the initial expectations, what doesn't make any difference for governments anyway, as they will be profiting in every cases.

As we can see it's a very unfair regulation for traders, but that won't decrease the frequency and amount of funds people are going to trade.
4283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender bias in gambling. on: March 27, 2022, 06:15:59 PM
I'm not aware about this issue in my area, because as far as I know every gamblers are treated in the same way, doesn't matter their gender. I know respectful ladies who are casual gamblers and nobody overlook them for this reason. Quite the opposite, people in gambling industry are even more attentive and kind to these gamblers ladies.

To say the truth, what really matters in society is if people have money to spend. When they have, they are respected, when they don't have they are put in second plan.
4284  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 26, 2022, 10:48:48 PM
For the next few months I still believe the market is in a correction phase, for all existing coins will be indirectly affected by their journey, the recovery point has not been seen until now, so market sentiment will continue until an uncertain time lag, market reaction will continue We see ups and downs for the next few months, so be very careful when entering the market now, if you want to secure the assets you own
Correction is something else, the price was high and there was a correction then there was a bear market. Right now we are in a stagnant market, that is what the current situation is called, which means that it is not really a big problem, sure it is not great neither and we would like to see a lot of great increases in the price, but at the end of the day as long as it is not doing badly, we should be fine with it.

I personally find 40k+ as a good place, if we could accumulate more and more here, then no FUD could hurt us. Just focus on getting more bitcoins, that is the important number, the more bitcoins you have, the better you will be when it evidently goes up.
Your analysis look pretty accurate. That is exactly what we are seeing on the currently scenario of cryptocurrency market. I'm glad the correction hasn't dragged bitcoin below. It could be much worse, if we compare btc's situation right now with past bearish markets.

It shows the market is more mature than ever, and even though investors are fearful, uncertain and doubtful, these negative emotions still don't have enough potential and power to impact bitcoin too badly.
4285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 26, 2022, 09:34:35 PM
I assume that Italy were favoured by many people for the coming World Cup. They were definitely among the favourites of the title already. However, they had a big disappointment against North Macedonia after losing by 1-0. I still don't get how this happened for real. Italy dominated the whole match but it was so unfortunate for them not even being able to score one goal there. When I started to think that it was going to continue by extra time, North Macedonia found a goal. Italy were so desperate after this and they aren't in the World Cup anymore.
Lol, it reminds me when Italy lost to South Korea on the world cup of 2002, by 2x1. For me this is the kind of thing which has zero chances of happening, until it finally happens for real.

It makes no sense anyway... I prefer to believe italian national team has an history of bad luck and that is all...

The good side of this event is that a lesson was learned: when Italy is the overwhelming favorite, avoid betting on them.
4286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 26, 2022, 07:24:38 PM
It's hard to prevent cheaters on online chess, at least on short run. But as far as I know, there aren't perfect crimes and sooner or later users using third party services to compete online are going to be busted and have their access to the platforms restricted (at least serious platforms).
Well in the first place cheaters are simply people who are actually testing the computational/processing ability of their program (most of the time anw). I mean, I certainly wouldn't waste time trying to run a program that's pretty intensive (since it tries to simulate most of the possible moves) to win an online match. For testing purposes, it may be possible, but I highly doubt people would do it for the money cause after all, if they were able to test something like that, they'd probably be better off doing something else to make money.

Plus in the first place, I don't think betting and chess go hand in hand? It's why most tourneys at the very least are done personally, or with hand cams and whatnot. Maybe betting as in sports betting, but that's about it imo.
There is no problem in using or programming bots for hobby, testing and learning purposes, but it can't be done in competitive matches that will count for increasing players' classification in a global ranking, or to earn money against others during tournaments.

I don't know how often this kind of thing happens, but from humans, of course you can expect cheating anytime and anywhere. Sometimes it's not even for the money, but for the status, glory and fame.
4287  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockFi on: March 26, 2022, 07:08:53 PM
It's not the first time Blockfi worries their investors. I remember when I thought about investing there last year, but the platform was unaccessible for some reason, so I just gave up on it. That was a big red alert for me.

However, it ended that it was just a technical issue that didn't cause any negative impacts for investors. Proof of that, it's Blockfi still working pretty stable by now. In my opinion this issue rewarded them with more legitimacy after all.

Now the problem with regulators is tricky, because I fear they are going to create more and more difficulties for crypto banks to operate, in order to protect the traditional banking system. Anyway, a 100$ million dollars fine isn't the end of the world for a company which holds more than 4$ billion dollars in funds.
4288  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Gambling Review Site on: March 26, 2022, 06:42:38 PM
Very detailed site containing some of the main gambling platforms disponible around. On the other hand, although there are lots of information regards crypto in general and regards the platforms themselves, I think the most important is missing there about 1xbit.

Theoretically, as a review site, you want to help gamblers to find the casino where they will have the best personal experience as possible, avoiding the problematic platforms.

Still, the only warning you give regards 1xbit is that they have a weak support service, while in fact, it should be said there are scam accusations against them, what goes much further than a simple poor support.
4289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 26, 2022, 04:26:36 AM
Just a quick question about chess I'm aware that there are platforms that combine this game with gambling. My question is, how do we prevent cheaters on this? For example, I play chess online while another computer simulates his moves, and what is the best move to counter it. It's a form of cheating because you can counter it in no time by simply watching the moves. This is really dumb because you are not showing your skills but if the money involves then i think there will be person that will cheat so that he will win
AFAIK, there's no way to avoid those opponents that you may face if there's gambling on it. They are there to make money and will cheat to have a sure win and get your money as well.
I guess the best way which was suggested in the last pages is about having a dual cam like making it a requirement for those participants, first is with showing them what it looks like whole body and back shot. But if we're going to analyze it, it can still be cheated and they could just give some recording of them sitting there and does show as actual footage and not suspicious video of them just like what we watch in movies.
It's hard to prevent cheaters on online chess, at least on short run. But as far as I know, there aren't perfect crimes and sooner or later users using third party services to compete online are going to be busted and have their access to the platforms restricted (at least serious platforms).

I say that because it happened to a very popular youtuber from my country. It was a scandal where he was severely criticized on the internet, being his final attempt to create excuses he wasn't using bots, but having assistance from a "teacher" in real time, instead.

Mechanisms like KYC and forbidding recent created accounts to play competitively could highly weak cheats on this game.
4290  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 for Bitcoin - 2030 on: March 26, 2022, 02:19:40 AM
I don't want to miss the train a second time on bitcoin. little picture of my bad analysis for the price of bitcoin for the next 5 years. I could be wrong but I want to leave my mark here by starting to invest in bitcoin $500 and main target by 2030.
If you don't want miss the train a second time, the best moment to buy bitcoin is now. 500$ looks a very low amount of money if you are going to invest that only once, what means it's hard to expect a big return in some years.

Some expect bitcoin will hit ATH and start a new bull run only between 2024-2025. Considering that, it's likely you will see 50% profit over your initial investment up to few years. That is, 250$ only. Then you should consider investing more...
4291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we just going around in circles? on: March 26, 2022, 01:44:41 AM
Yes, hypes are like walking in circles as they are constantly repeating themselves, unless you are lucky enough to enter the hyped market on the right moment, so you can make huge profit and finally put this money into a more sustainable investment which won't put you in risk of walking in circles without reaching anywhere.

That is why it is important to spot the difference between hypes and long term projects in crypto market.
4292  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: March 25, 2022, 08:37:10 PM
Brazil - 1500$ weekly, 6000$ monthly. Not possible to live like the king of the world, but possible to have a decent, confortable middle class life.

On the other hand, if it was a couple instead a group of five, that amount of money would be enough to raise financial standards considerably, having access to the high quality goods and services disponible around.

Anyway, if those five people are also investors and use their signature campaign wages to grow their holdings along the time, instead of spending everything, it's possible to improve life conditions through passive income within time.
4293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why offline casino go online? Thoughts? on: March 25, 2022, 07:36:52 PM
Whereas the traditional casinos continue to provide a sense of fun and adventure in the moment for most people. Therefore should the online casinos do extend their administration futher and go offline as well? What if most amazing crypto casinos went offline as well !? You think that would be a profitable industry?
I see no reason for online casinos go offline, because that would imply extra operational costs for the owners with physical structure, employees, maintenance and security. Since they can reach a wider public only by operating online, why would they spend more to reach only a localized public through a land based casino?

And if an amazing crypto casino decided to go offline, I suppose it would be more for status and power demonstration than anything else. Profitability stays in second plan on this case.
4294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin becomes priority alternative when cash fails on: March 25, 2022, 04:31:20 AM
I'm not so sure about this, because during a war, the first targets are the communication channels, besides the military centers. It means the enemy will destroy television and internet signal towers plus infrastructure. It means without internet connection bitcoin is almost useless as currency. When cash fails in scenarios like this, people appeal to barter system or start begging for donations.
4295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: March 24, 2022, 03:58:22 PM
On this aspect, fantasy sports games are better than simulated games, because they follow the performance of each player in real life to find results for the virtual matches, so there is some unavoidable logic there making the games harder or not possible to be rigged.

Since both are based in virtual experience, fantasy sports are preferable when compared to the simulated ones category.
4296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: March 23, 2022, 11:36:56 PM
Nice win from Sao Paulo yesterday against Sao Bernardo by 4x1. Sao Bernardo started scoring, but Sao Paulo was able to tie the game pretty fast, and from 21 minutes on the game totally changed in favour of Sao Paulo, because Sao Bernardo had one player sent off with a red card.

For this reason it's hard to measure how strong Sao Paulo is, since the game becomes much easier when you play with 11 against 10.

Anyway, good luck for Sao Paulo now on the semi-finals of Campeonato Paulista.
4297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Largest Slots Win in Washington State History on: March 23, 2022, 12:25:08 AM
Generally a gambler can spin 10 times per minute, what means in an hour it corresponds to 600 spins. Following this strategy, it would be needed to spend 3000$ for an one hour gambling session. That amount can be compared to total annual wage received by many employees in third world countries.

What many people receive in one year, a gambler playing this method would spend in one hour!

So, it's an insane amount to wage in a very short time period. Not applicable for real, without any doubts (at least for my standards).
4298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian individuals are using crypto to bypass sanctions on: March 22, 2022, 07:59:10 PM
That could explain the recent rise in bitcoin price, but also the reason why bitcoin pumps and dumps immediately in sequence, because that is common when using bitcoin as an intermediary currency to move money from one place to another. That is, the middleman between ruble and the currencies from countries which imposed sanctions on Russia.
4299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins are not stablecoins by definition. on: March 22, 2022, 07:26:39 PM
I believe stablecoin is a good term for these currencies. 2 cents up or down don't make much difference, so they continue being stable anyway.

It would be wrong if they were called static-coins. Only then it would mean they couldn't fluctuate even a little, being a must for the price to be static.
4300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bullrun this year again! on: March 21, 2022, 10:33:57 PM
He is really a bullish person but I'd never think this gonna happens in real life. $350k-$450k is not realistic for me but he stands it comes possibly as he relies on History repeats itself scenario.
Yes, definitely not realistic. It's not even possible to say if this bear season is going to end soon. There is a good chance we are going to enter 2023 without bitcoin recovering yet. Furthermore, bitcoin has a long path until it can finally reach 350,000$ or 450,000$.

Last ATH hit close to 70,000$ and it was pretty hard, so as we can it's a hardcore mission to reach the price predicted by the trader. Billion of dollars must be invested in btc, so we can see that happening for real. And that is something we don't see happening on short run.
