4281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Hit As Per The Experts Predictions? on: November 26, 2019, 04:57:42 PM

i don't even get what he meant by slow.

don'r worry too much about the price if you are just going to be holding your coins anyway but if you are going to trade to accumulate just like the whales are doing right now, you will be disappointed if you are going to earn just few bucks chasing the trade. the charts are telling very differently than what is happening so its freakingly crazy, i would only expect a sudden rise of price that will left you behind once it happen but this is still a speculation just like the ones you've already heard.
4282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO ENDED] Jarvis - Fx, crypto, stocks | DApp browser | Revenue token on: November 25, 2019, 08:53:18 PM
This week theme is - interviews! But it is not the only thing we did, so hop in and let's go over everything we`ve done!

https://medium.com/jarvis-edge/newsletter-24th-of-november-4cc074e4581a

A lot of work and effort has been put into this project. I have seen this project from the beginning. It is already like a lifetime of most projects actually. But let's see once they launch their exchange, would it change the game on this industry or just like any other crypto exchange we are familiar with?
so many people are waiting for work from the team and most are waiting to be listed on the exchange and hope to change everything because maybe the people here are tired too waiting for it because it's been so long

i don't know how different this exchange will be to the ones you are familiar with.
its not added on any exchange yet so most of the holders are waiting but once all have dumped the bags they own, non will take time to read what this team is saying. this thread will be like a ghost town afterwards.

Quote
for the past couple of weeks, we have been busy with the private key management, and now we finally finished our part, so now the rest is in the hands of our developers in Vietnam.

that's what is says in the first line in the article. for how i may understand it is that we as users of jarvis exchange will own private keys of the wallets we have?
4283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would one pay $7K for Bitcoin if he can get the same thing for $0.001? on: November 25, 2019, 08:30:57 PM
the difference of the cryptocurrency will matter in the end. you might think cardano is better or eth has better usecase and will have more demand in the future and then you will question why use BTC when there is ETH.  there are tons of us who thinks the same way but then understanding decentralization and security of bitcoin's blockchain will make you realize there is more to BTC than all the others created after it.
4284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Not Be a Medium of Exchange on: November 25, 2019, 08:04:46 PM
This argument could be valid in future if Bitcoin failed to gain market share and people just decided to use it for store of value, another thing to look at is the lighting network, the success of lighting network is going to determine if BTC is going to be use for medium of exchange because the  transaction fees that people complained about that is high is going to be reduced significantly

eventually this LN will be used in more wallets that we may not even need to create channel anymore but simply send to any address since by default all are using LN. BTC is meant to be spent, to buy products on stores that is why we do have QR codes for it. right now we can send fees already, its not just going to be SOV, it all depend to how you will use it.
4285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are dropping too much... on: November 25, 2019, 06:45:23 PM

the price will bounce up but there is just no sure way of telling when it will happen. right now it moving up from $6500 to $7200, its not the price you may want but that's a good price to sell right now if you expect the price to dip to $2000. the articles all over crypto these days are telling the price can go that low. it be best to be very cautious about it. if they are publishing these type of information, one thing to do is also dump while they are up to accumulate.
4286  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Price Tanks as Unplanned Exchange Maintenance Leaves Customers Stranded on: November 25, 2019, 06:33:40 PM
i don't really mean when you say downtime like the host of the website just having maintenance but if its just deribit that experienced the downtime, its not an unplanned maintenance. if its the later, they deliberately do it.

deribit must have been laughing their ass when all those who shifted from BTC to USD had been burned, unable to buy back while the price is $6,700.  there is no such thing as coincidence when they are making money out of it.

4287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year 2020 expectations on: November 24, 2019, 08:03:39 PM
Many projects will be looking forward to the halving of bitcoin. I think 2020 will be a make or break year for crypto. If we don't see a bull run and new ath by 2020, then crypto might just die a slow death from there

yep its killing me already. all the while i thought the rise of prices since the day xi jinping announces they are speeding up blockchain adoption will provide me an early christmas bonus but its a trap.  i'm not surprise a lot are still very much patient holding the coins they have. putting all their hopes to this coming halving.

expectation is so much for 2020. no one still knows what could happen. new comers will be devastated if the price will really dip back to hit the $3k again.
4288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this a scam? on: November 24, 2019, 07:18:49 PM

i tried to play along to someone who tried to scam me. when he see i'm asking many question like which job sites he had been and about the profile he had he already thought i'm already trying to learn who he is. he knows i'm not sending the amount he already cursed me.

when someone asks btc from you for nothing, its always going to be a scam. there is nowhere else the story will go but scam.
4289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One solid reason that I came across for the need of BitCoins. <Be Your own Bank> on: November 24, 2019, 05:45:49 PM

there is just no option for anyone to get into this country, not when Trump still sits there. banks had been doing all these to us though you get used to it, its time to also take this advantage from them.

may i know how much do they need to see in your account for you to be approved for visa?

i'm interested to visit south america actually. this is not Asia so i'd assume there will be the need for me to also provide information to them.
4290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best investment in crypto since 2018 on: November 24, 2019, 04:53:41 PM

i saw some altcoins that weren't added on exchanges since 2018 are now listed, maybe some of them are really serious with what they are doing. but they are still not going to rankup if the market stays this way. BAKKT volume getting larger every time there is a big change of prices in crypto but the market is no close to spark the bullrun and you your best investment will still be lost, the only way to make money in crypto is to trade along with the big whales.

Cardano still is my best investment when bought it at 0.02USD. i'm shilling it for all to see how much it will be soon.

4291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning! Here's Why BTC is Set To Fall To 3000 or Lower! on: November 24, 2019, 04:00:18 PM

i really have no idea how to read the Elliott Wave indicator, i'm finding it hard to learn when coins are not going up. it just doesn't motivate me to learn more indicators when i'm already confident with just few in my chart. it doesn't clear my view anymore. after seeing the article is actually from tradingview.com i'm about to take this seriously and i mean they wouldn't post things like that if they are not that half seeing the possibility.  going down to $3k is a horrible price for the funds manager. hope we won't be seeing some of them committing suicides.
4292  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ‘Satoshi Nakamoto’ Scamming Senior Citizens With Bitcoin Retirement Plan on: November 23, 2019, 08:31:55 PM
its about time they call Saul Goodman.

you have to be the baddest scammer of all time to target senior citizen's retirement money. and as well as the money intended for their burial.
claiming to be satoshi is paying well for him. $6M is worth a fortune, i don't know if he can hide his face to the public though. he better hide because somewhere someone is going to recognize him.
4293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] CurioInvest - Bringing collectables into the digital world on: November 23, 2019, 07:48:24 PM
I heard that Curioinvest is swapping for stellar token. Are there any reasoning behind this or is it purely to get into stellar dex markets?

seem like a way to scam investors again. this has been a way to leave investors waiting while the team have all the time to dump their tokens by not allowing anyone to swap yet  but them alone.

you are right now to trust this project besides the fact that this is already centralize on it own. they control the development, the fucking collectible cars as if there really will be and all the news about them.

4294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is dumping? on: November 23, 2019, 07:01:37 PM
Why bitcoin is dumping? Is it because of protest?

Also, I think if governments want to regulate bitcoin, then they should allow banks to fix the price of bitcoin for every next three months whenever bitcoin hits higher based on its demand, I think this may save the assets of people who are buying or selling it.

millions of people will soon be rich when this is exactly what what will happen. the government do not want that. things can go wrong when in the community there are more powerful individuals.

the news says China is hunting illegal exchanges and there are several Chinese exchanges we don't even know here. i saw some since i have some Chinese coins that were added on these small exchanges.

4295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Complete KYC to get Ultra coin tokens on: November 22, 2019, 08:06:17 PM

forget about registering and submitting KYC since the token doesn't have a value. its even easy to create tokens today so its not worth. someone found out about them being scam and their efforts to scam are now gone to waste.

WARNING!!!

One of the Ultrablock core team under the name of Beatriz (CTO) real identity is Marie Kondo

Source link on where they get the image: https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/tidying-up-fans-are-calling-marie-kondos-new-konmari-store-very-ironic.html/

jesus. of all people. the girl hosts a good show on netflix. why did they ever pick this one to scam and thought of getting away. the usual response from the scam team again is to replace the image.  Cheesy

4296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is not Bitcoin on: November 22, 2019, 07:48:06 PM
not everyone is reading though. most of the people who took time to read are the ones that understood it but some are just going to assume BTC is blockchain. and its going to be easy to see why since from the beginning people are going to hear Bitcoin which is the primary coin in blockchain which both are associated to each other. i tried explaining to someone about ETHEREUM and the first reaction was that he already laugh how it sound, its too long, he doesn't even asks if it also have a blockchain since he doesn't understand blockchain when its not associated with bitcoin.
4297  Economy / Speculation / Re: No need to PANIC! on: November 22, 2019, 05:47:26 PM

this kind of dumping happens over and over, this is manipulation using the fake news. the amount of BTC  being sold in the market looks something very suspicious while the people form social media are exaggerating all these by spreading the news that isn't even true. chinese may not even involve to all these news. for those who are just dependent to the fundamental analysis, its a news to panic though
4298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency market continues to blood shed on: November 22, 2019, 03:46:53 PM

people expect bullrun so here's what you don't expect. so the new comers thought this is their way to exit when the financial crisis comes but they find themselves in the abyss after seeing price dips this low. they'd soon find hell when the price breaksout to $10K after they sold their btc in panic. the least we expect to happen will always happen. this time i'm not really expecting bullrun but just watch the market.
4299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best investment in crypto since 2018 on: November 21, 2019, 08:49:23 PM
i haven't heard of that  Counting House, i don't know the ICO price but right now as i have checked it the price still is $2.11 which is still good for a token that's release just last year.   and i thought there weren't really any project that had made bounty hunters richer for a bit. some users got about 6K tokens, that's a lot.  so much for saying all are scam Smiley
the only people see was the Gowithmi project actually.
4300  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OneCoin: The Biggest Scam Crypto Scam Ever? on: November 21, 2019, 07:20:47 PM
Question regarding this OneCoin scam:
- Do owners have some known Bitcoin or other crypto addresses they used?

As you can see from the money laundering case going on, the hi up scammers were only interested in fiat and hiding it; I don't think they even understood real crypto and don't seem to have thought of using it to launder their proceeds. Quite ironic really....
So I say no, but I'll check and see what I can find.
I say no also because the vast majority of Onecoin victims were crypto illiterate, seduced into parting with their fiat money by hi pressure MLM salesmanship and FOMO, as crypto was sold to them as the "new opportunity."
We're talking about the man in the street and his relatives and friends being ripped off here, trusting advice from people who they shouldn't have and handing over hard earned cash.
Buying the dream.....

which I also doubt there are users out there that invested to it. unless they are also one of those crypto illiterate.

this type of scam have been around for years yet people still are sending money to them. most of the victims are usually those who thought facebook is the internet. most of the time these scammers are found in facebook. none of the literate also advice them because mots of the time the knowledgeable ones in crypto are not in facebook.
