4281  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-26] Mark Carney: BoE Remains Open to Possibility of Central Bank Crypto on: May 26, 2018, 10:07:17 AM
This might be some sort of inadvisable in terms of investment regarding in ICOs especially in trading since manipulation of price is highly possible but this is a good news tho despite of bitter news regarding crypto.
4282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Bitcoin' hacked - on: May 25, 2018, 06:45:08 PM

4283  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: May 25, 2018, 04:57:27 PM

Oo, naman kahit na saan kapa pwede except in new york area in US.

[EDIT]
Yun na mention na pala above while I'm still typing.
4284  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: didn't get my bitcoin from binance on: May 25, 2018, 04:11:29 PM
If you still didn't see the balance on your exodus wallet, I may suggest that export the private key of the wallet address you used to receive on your exodus wallet (link below).

Try to download electrum a desktop wallet also (link below).

And try to import in the installed electrum on your desktop (instructions is on the link below)

[1] https://support.exodus.io/article/86-how-can-i-view-my-private-keys
[2] https://electrum.org/#download
[3] https://bitcoinelectrum.com/importing-your-private-keys-into-electrum/

Do this if ever the fund still doesn't appear on your exodus screen. And make sure you put a password on your electrum wallet for more security. Wink
4285  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Stolen bitcoins from blockchain.info 05/22/2018 on: May 25, 2018, 03:47:15 PM
there is big chance you exposed your private keys somewhere when trying to claim those forks

Mostly the hard fork wallets use seed or recovery phrase to claim those altcoins, tho what are those hard forks you're trying to claim? Anyway, blockchain.info are completely out of this issue, its either there are some malware/keylogger/phishing wallets are injected on those wallets/software you used claiming the hard fork coins.

The fact is, at the post office there are only notifications as answered in my topic     http://prntscr.com/jm1lqy   http://prntscr.com/jm1mo5
I also have an account for Bitcoin Men on forums.bits and today I restored it to my account http://prntscr.com/jm1wsj   link profile https://forum.bits.media/index.php?/profile/23103-bitcoin-men/

Date of registration http://prntscr.com/jm1q3k  и http://prntscr.com/jm1rug

maybe not so important, I published the same project on two forums when there was a scam and a start http://prntscr.com/jm2495  http://prntscr.com/jm22gq

I know very little English and use the google translator to excuse me.

Well, if you can't make a signed message out of the address/es used/posted of that account(Bitcoin-men),  like SFR10 said, you can't recover your account since what's you're trying isn't on the acceptable method/s.
4287  Other / Meta / Re: Sorry, this account has not yet been approved on: May 24, 2018, 10:42:28 AM
My wallet of the bitcoins was at that time 1Fnxj6Dm8KKBbmcxyUHGn2FdmzdiwLwPDo
May I ask you? Is my account active? if I remember the password, can I login?
I see that you posted the same address way back 2015

Hello
I do not have payment
$ 5.6
Please check the
number wallet
1Fnxj6Dm8KKBbmcxyUHGn2FdmzdiwLwPDo
my money is gone
this wallet
179onrtkfmNVLBPsv66s5XoqgjxM7UgXzz
Help me
UserName BitcoinMen
If you can sign a message using the address highlited then you have a higher chance to recover your account. OR a screenshot from your email that shows the username of yours like "Dear Bitcoin-Men" since it will prove that you're the owner of the email that was used to register from Bitcoin-Men account tho I dont think admin will consider it since signed message is much accepted proof.
4288  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I want to buy amazon gift cards on: May 23, 2018, 08:22:05 PM
Most AGC seller thread can be found here Invites & Accounts

Or try to make new thread there and put on your thread's title ([WTB] I need AGC quantity_needed your_budget) just a sample. And don't forget the escrow for the safety of your transaction.

But still beware from fake seller or hacked agc, and avoid from auto-buy links, always find or entertain a seller with good reviews, always go to their trust page (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=USER_ID_HERE) or their selling thread to see if the products of her/his sales/reviews are legit since escrow cant do nothing after the trade (exchange of funds and products using escrow) is done so you will be the responsible after that.

Btw welcome to this forum and beware from scammers.
4289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we Re-Brand Bitcoin? on: May 22, 2018, 10:37:21 AM
Rebranding is the creation of a new look and feel for an established product or company. The usual goal of rebranding is to influence a customer's perception about a product or service or the company overall by revitalizing the brand and making it seem more modern and relevant to the customer's needs.
First thing first you have to put a source/credits/links of what you are saying that is completely copied from other sites and not from your own words,
Source: https://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/rebranding

Bitcoin is not a company, that you mentioned for several times for rebrand. And what you have said for the rebranding are totally nonsense, if you're talking about its bad rep from the silk road, scamming, hacking. It's like you're saying every money (local currencies) and some online money like paypal have to rebrand too? All kind of currencies are used in any sort of illegal doings.

Regarding to its picture of Casascius bitcoin of course its only a model of a so-called physical bitcoin since bitcoin doesn't have any physical characteristics at all, a BTC sign is enough.

Most people see the name and associate it with some physical coin. The media is also not helping with this
If you're also one of them thinking that bitcoin is a physical coin then all I can say is there's no cure of foolishness.

If there's something to be rebrand its BCH IMO.
4290  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Help needed: Signature Campaign Budget on: May 21, 2018, 07:23:58 PM
Many aspects can affect the budget of every signature campaign, all of it depends on; how long the campaign runs, how many participants you want to join the campaign, the rates of every ranks, the person you want to make the signature code and the one who will manage the campaign. Mostly you have at least 1 BTC to run a campaign that will last at least for a month.
4291  Local / Pamilihan / Re: ETH rekta sa coin.ph pwede ba? on: May 21, 2018, 06:31:35 PM
You can see all funds na transfered sa coinsph address sa etherscan.io sa internal transaction tab since naka smart contract yung eth address ng coinsph. At walang internal transaction tab sa ethplorer.
4292  Other / Archival / Re: How to complete a payment process in Amazon by BTC? on: May 21, 2018, 02:33:22 PM
AFAIK amazon doesn't accept bitcoin payment yet on their platform. And "if ever", you can see an option of bitcoin payment, besides some options like paypal, cards(debit/credit) when you proceed to checkout any item on their marketplace.
4293  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC SCAM MY ACCOUNT on: May 21, 2018, 11:52:32 AM
Try to make another support ticket on the exchange, like what other did and it resolve his issue, they're one of the worst exchange and most of this exchanges are worst in customer services so better to do it since its only more than a month, coz others have this issue an didnt resolve for how many months.
4294  Economy / Services / Re: I need a signature designer on: May 21, 2018, 11:36:40 AM
I can't argue that jayce is one of the best signature designers here but if you want some cheaper and if you have low budget then you can try to look here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1610428.0, its the list of all best graphic including signature designers on this forum Wink
4295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-05-19] ICO Scams Have Raised More Than $1 Billion, Report Claims on: May 21, 2018, 09:01:11 AM
I think everybody is already tired of scam, hope some regulations will make crypto sphere good and attractive for many people and institutes.
Regulations won't stop scam ICO's and scamcoins, even now they are commiting a crime, and it doesn't stop them, because scammers keep their identities hidden. So, even after regulations there will be unregistered ICO's and shady exchanges that will list those tokens afterwards, although even this is not needed for ICOs to operate - today many ICO tokens don't even get listed on any exchange, leaving no way for investors to get at least some return, resulting in 100% lose.
Regulation wont stop scam ICOs but it will minimize the damage if all government in any countries will do like what other countries dis. Those scam ICOs are those project that doesn't regulate from the sec of the country they are based.
That's why people/investor should be knowledgeable enough and conduct a large-scale research before they start investing or else they will lost their money with this ICO schemes.
4296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Country backed coins, a good idea? on: May 21, 2018, 02:53:28 AM
No, they're the only one who will benefit at all. Manipulation of the price will be at peak and a centralized cryptocurrency? No, this will break the whole concept of cryptocurrency. Look at what had happened Petro token of Venezuela's government. Its an example of how a corrupt government of some countries took advantage of their powers when dealing with their so-called own-made crypto/token.
4297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ? on: May 20, 2018, 08:55:18 PM
Can you tell us if what country are you located at? If you're from countries that banned cryptocurrencies then it will be risky on your side since you're opposing the law on that land, you have to be careful coz once they know what you're doing then you will be lockup.

It is really hard to decide on your part, it's very unfortunate that you're in the country that has bonehead government officials.

If you have any bitcoin stored then just save it for long-term.
I can only suggest is, why don't you try to move to some neighboring country near on you (Bangladesh) that bitcoin/crypto is not banned so you will be safe for good.
4298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Tx problem on: May 20, 2018, 08:39:33 PM
I am just getting into bitcoin and did a small purchase with a certain address. However, after purchasing with an address I accidentally changed the address.
You mean after you purchase bitcoin and receive it on your wallet, your wallet address changed? if that so then there's nothing to worry about it since it just normal and for sure you are using an HD wallet.

It is still the same wallet, but with a different address. Does this mean I will not receive my money?
You can use the same address you used on your first transaction OR you can use the address that will generate on your wallet instead, you will still receive bitcoin using those addresses, as stated above it only maintain the anonymity but it's not really anonymous at all.
4299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: May 20, 2018, 04:43:59 PM
What a great move from the admin, I still laughing on my desk reading those replies above Cheesy IIRC I saw this from one the press release article on some crypto sites way back 3-4 days ago.

This thread should be translated and be posted to some local boards or maybe theymos would make a bounty thread for this. Anyway, what a great idea.

Oh, there's already a bounty thread and most replies there are ridiculously funny.
4300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges want to be Banks and LocalBitcoins demands KYC verification!! on: May 20, 2018, 01:48:21 PM
There's nothing they can do about this since the government want them to do it or else their service and the site will be shutdown which is they don't to want to happen. So the best option of person who don't want to disclose their personal details for the KYC requirements is to use an decentralized exchange but the thing is, this decentralized exchanges are bit not secured or somethings buggy and isn't user-friendly at all.
