4281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How casinos slots attract players to play ? on: January 14, 2017, 08:48:52 AM
what makes you come to play ??

Mostly with promotions such as free spins, no deposit bonus with xx wagering requirement. I'm not a fan of slots games but I have some favorite slots to play. Overall it is hard to attract players to play slots games because of its high house edge.
Yes, the house edge could be indeed very huge, 500 Bitcoins for example. Shocked

Go to a live casino and see how it can come 40 times red (50:50) in a row, thereafter you know how it is possible losing 17 times. Wink

Game Protect. We have cases with claims in the height of over US $1 million and if we succeed we will make $100,000s. Game Protect made it possible that claimants in the Full Flush Poker case have only to spend 1,5% of the possible amount to receive, while the chance to succeed is at least minimum around 25%. This is a good investment/income relation. Smiley
Go spam your product somewhere else.
spam = irrelevant or unsolicited messages sent over the Internet, typically to a large number of users, for the purposes of advertising, phishing, spreading malware, etc.

According to you, investment is irrelevant in the Marketplace section?
I don't need a dictionary definition of spam, the difference is you are promoting yourself, so it isn't general advice but an advertisement.
Ahh, suddenly it is an advertisement and not spam?

And if you promote someone else, like you promote betcoin.ag, then it is not advertisement, according to your "logic"?

No, my post contains actual information, I answered op with information like which stocks to invest and using 4 days of the grand total on crytpo. I broke things down, I didn't say " I have company X and if you put money in it will be pay back greatly." That would have been an advertisement. My post wasn't an advertisement but my signature is essentially a digital billboard below my post but post does not equal signature.

Advertisements are spam, check your email, you'll figure it out.
Your signature is definetely advertisement, as you get paid for it. If you would not take money for wearing it, it could be considered as a personal opinion.
4284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 13, 2017, 10:02:21 PM
How many gamblers try to hide that they gamble? And what is your definition of "gambler"? Is someone who occassionally gamble, a gambler? Or do you mean addicted gamblers are gamblers? I feel in no way ashamed when I gamble and I never met anyone who do. But there are religions where gambling is prohibited like the consum of alcohol.

Facebook marketing does it work?
I dont understand the connection between my personal page and my business page i get activity on my personal page but those friends dont seem to visit my business page. Is this just a rule for big business?
Nowadays you need to spend money for advertisement on facebook to get a big business page. No, it is not a rule for big business, facebook somehow seperated personal pages from business pages in general.

4288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: January 13, 2017, 03:18:51 PM
When you play -EV games, then you will lose longtherm, of course. You should only bet what you can afford.

On the other hand, if you play +EV games, you can make a good money longtherm.

But gambling should be not considered as a sickness in general, only because a few percentage can get addicted to it. You also do not consider alcohol, sex and sport as a sickness in general, because some can become addicted to it.
4289  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: January 13, 2017, 02:40:01 PM
Just e-mailed the same to support, but I just logged in after ~3 weeks and my account is missing ~77.4 bitcoins that were invested in the site bankroll. My password also did not work. I reset password, which did work immediately, and upon logging back in the account created date was accurate but the user name was changed and the "last active" shows "0000-00-00 00:00:00"

Please tell me I didn't get hacked/robbed for this sum of money...
If you make an investment, you should send your investment directly to a Bitcoin address of the company and not to your player account, waiting to forward your Bitcoins or however this work with satoshidice.

As soon as you sent your investment to satoshidice, they are responsible if your investment suddenly escape.  Wink

Yes that is true however there are no laws which govern that.

Look at what happened with MtGox.
Of course do the laws of Curacao govern that.

I do not know what happened at MtGox, except million escaped. It does not make any sense to compare jake_a99's case woth MtGox. His investment is only a small part of the overall balances and revenue of satoshidice.com and the operator can very well cover his investment.

If you send your money over to a bank for your investment, and if the bank gets robbed, YOUR MONEY IS SAFE. Because your money is insured by the government and other insurance companies.

When you send your BTC to a site, and that site gets hacked and loses everything then YOUR MONEY IS GONE. Because there is no insurance or anything.
1) satoshidice.com got hacked and lost all balances? Did Rakki N.V. declare bankruptcy?

2) We do not know what happened with jake_a99's account?

3) satoshidice.com has to store all transactions by law, so it should be easy to retrace what happened there

4) Without legal help / action, I doubt that this case will be solved properly, considering the amount and considering what happened so far. This is the advantage when you register your accounts with Game Protect and have an Online Gaming Consumer Protection service included. Wink

And where was this option?

For the record I was purely invested for many months before this happened.

No updates to report, have heard nothing at all.
I assume there is no option and wanted to inform and suggest that you should make larger investments only directly to the operator's account.

Feel free to explain me how this investment typically work? You deposit to your player account and then?

The operator of satoshidice.com is known, so you could initiate legal action. Would be definetely worth, considering the height of your investment.

4293  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best casino operator on: January 13, 2017, 01:05:34 PM
Personally, I think bitcoin AG is. They did not want to pay out a jackpot and changed the rules afterwards, if they took investments from the public (not sure if they did) they are essentially protecting their investors by doing this. From an investment stand point, I think bitcoin AG is the best site's bankroll to invest in because of this
Exactly! OP should add to his question from which point of view, player or investor?  Tongue

4295  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why do bitcoin poker only sites keep closing? on: January 12, 2017, 07:41:31 PM
There are lots of popker sites around which are reliable and working perfectly. You should check some that were suggested and also others about which you can read browsing this forum. I'm new to this poker thing and keep being amazed by the amount of different tournaments one can take part in.

Some that were suggested, does not mean that they are reliable and working perfectly. You suggest betcoin.ag with your signature, but they are neither reliable nor working perfectly. You should let the checking to those who have a sound knowledge about these things. Wink

Betcoin.ag is reliable site though for their poker games, dont know about other games like you mentioned on your link there for their slots games. Are they clearing their mess? Giving a big payout really hard to do though even though for big site like them. But if it comes to poker i really think that they have a great support because from the start they mostly focus on poker than other games

No, they continue to lose customers and CUT, CUT, CUT is their new motto. Ask TwitchySeal, there were a lot of complaints about their poker section and traffic is decreasing...

Which customer has interest to play at a site that did not pay a crystal clear won 500 Bitcoins jackpot? Imagine you play a $1 million tournament at WPN, win and then will not receive your prize?

Giving a big payout is only really hard to do, if you embezzled the progressive jackpot contributions!

If you consider 7 Day Avg = 20 players as a "big site", then I do not want to know what you consider as a small site. 5 poker players in average?

24 Hr Peak actually decreased to 55, falling tendency. Betcoin.ag is a good example why bitcoin poker sites keep closing...

May be that is true they did not pay up for their slot games but i think they already pay back what he lost right? Around 1 btc back to him if i not mistaken. Saw their chat somewhere.
It is a fact that they did not pay up for their slot games. Jasonort won a 500 Bicoins jackpot and betcoin.ag did not pay.

Never know that their traffic is really low for now. Last time when i saw their site, they still got 40++ players and they always paying on poker tournament and even host some big tourney too. Still considering their site to play though after that happened
Betcoin.ag host only very small and uninteresting tournaments. The big tournaments, they are connected to, are hosted by the Winning Poker Network. It is better to play with WPN skins than betcoin.ag, because then you have also a huge selection of cash games and Sit & Gos.

There are few trusted bitcoin sportsbook where i have bet before;
1. directbet.eu
2. sportsbet.io
3. nitrogensports.eu

You can try any of those sportsbook, all of them offer good odds too.
sportsbet.io is "trusted", because management already embezzled player funds, or what?

Warning! BitCasino scam + Sportsbet scam

Or is it "trusted" because they have a for players worthless Curacao eGaming license? Curacao license scam 1668/JAZ, 365/JAZ, 5536/JAZ and 8048/JAZ!

Haven't played bitcoin poker for a while, just when I started looking for my old sites they are both closed, I probably even had some chips in there, bitcoin is rising since Trump entered the scene, why are poker sites suffering?

4300  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitSler Scammed Me. BE CAREFUL on: January 11, 2017, 03:07:36 AM
Whatelse proof could he deliver? Screenshots are a valid proof in legal action cases against "licensed" gaming operators, as they have anyway to store all transactions.

It may be possible that there is no convincing evidence that he could provide, but that doesn't make screenshots any less useless. It is trivial for michael8970 to create a screenshot that supports his claim. Screenshots successfully being used in legal cases or not has no bearing on that.

Note that I'm not accusing him of doing that, nor am I taking a side. I'm merely pointing out that screenshots cannot possibly serve as evidence.

I don't understand what you mean by the last part of your comment ("as they have anyway to store all transactions").
In a legal proceeding against a "licensed" gaming operator, a faked screenshot would not help you much, because the operator usually has all balances and transactions stored.

But here in the forum you are right, the screenshot could be faked and we can not prove the truth. So it is more like a religion, we believe it or not.

What I personally do not understand is how someone can hack your account while you are logged in and then log you out? I at least never heard about something like this.
