4281  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tom Lee 2020 Bitcoin to 30k on: February 25, 2020, 09:08:51 AM
I'd rather believe this shy type of a prediction rather than $100k.  Cheesy

Most of them are going upwards but let us also be real at what is in front of us.
Ethereum also has an upcoming event which is already pulling a lot of buyers.
That just means the invested money is being divided. They might stay with the bitcoin which they already have and not add more.
But, they will always try the cheaper coin. I won't go XRP of course, I also would rather pick Ethereum.
4282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 25, 2020, 08:22:07 AM
Some great odds for later games without handicaps.
Wizards (home) @9.00 vs Bucks
Knicks (away) @ 10.00 vs Rockets
T'Wolves (away) @7.80 vs Dallas

The demon of me is telling something again.  Grin

Allow that demon to dictate you , lol.. I will even suggest that you parlay all the heavy underdogs so you will get a total odds of 702.
$10 at least for a minimum, you'll get at least $7000, good luck mate, do it fast. lol
That Wizards vs Bucks game was something else.
I think many lose a lot of money from here. It was just a 3 point deficit win from the Bucks.
They may have input handicaps for the Bucks.

Well, I didn't win any of those games but still it was fun specially the Wizards game.  Grin
I just put a little bet in it. Yeah, a gamble as we call it.

And the worst aside from that Pacers' horrible performance, one of their player, Jeremy Lamb suffered a season-ending injury. So unfortunate.
A good contributor for the Pacers team. They may need to recreate their plays for this loss.
A bad news indeed but they are still on the 6th seed at 33 wins while Nets at 7th with 26. They could still arrange everything for change of plays.
4283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 25, 2020, 05:36:06 AM
It is actually happening.
At January of this year 2020, one of my altcoin is valued at 3.5 Ethereum and now it is freaking .6 Ethereum.
Been holding it for like 2 years by now just waiting for the ICO to be fruitful and their roadmap to be completed.
But hell, it is like someone is selling way too much. I bet it is one of the large investors or worse it could be the developers themselves.

There is no more update in Telegram group but there is still some at Twitter. I don't really know if I should still hold it. I am at large loss by now.
The only choice is too wait for more updates.

He’s very successful but he’s a dinosaur. He’s not going to be interested in new tech because he doesn’t need to be. Ignore him & his negative comments.

I was going to say the same thing but he got first.
He stretched out most of what I am going to comment here.  Grin
How did you do that smiley with a teary eye?
That is more important to me than hearing all the words from that man.

One of the problem with old people. (specially the rich one) Not much of them care about the new technology anymore.
He would prefer a war.  Grin
4285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 24, 2020, 12:55:07 PM

Yeah, they still won against Pistons despite Lillard's injury.
But, they are going to have a lot of problems since the list of injured players from the Blazers team is getting longer.

Pelicans schedule will be hell.
Two games against the Lakers then Dallas and Heat.
But they need to win all of this games. They are at the 10th now and they don't want to be at losing streaks.
Snatch one of that games against the Lakers then also try to win over the Heat.
They might have a chance with Dallas and Heat but Lakers are too strong, and if every they'll get to that top 8 spot, they'll have to face the Lakers which could possibly give them an early exit.

Will it be a battle of two rookies for the 8th seed or will it be the veteran coach who still have his magic of getting another playoffs spot.  Wink
Exciting to see how they will push through to win every game.

Some great odds for later games without handicaps.

First time I have read this.
I didn't know that there are other calculations that are being made just to continue the mining industry.
I don't think so.
If they stop, then new ones will come. The difficulty level will also decline which means it will be easier for new miners.
Plus, I don't really think they would just give it up considering how much money they had already spent for all the hardware.

Also, the market doesn't work that way. It will not be ordered by someone or manipulated by anyone just like that.
It will depend on demand.
4287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 24, 2020, 07:52:44 AM
Grizzlies is at 28 at 8th seed and 25 for Blazers.

Pelicans are losing against strong teams like Bucks and Thunders but never with the lower seeds.
As of their 10 games, they only lose against the Rockets, Bucks and Thunders. They really got stronger with the addition of Zion.

Grizzlies might slide down from the 8th seed, their second leading-scorer Jaren Jackson Jr. is expected to miss a few weeks with a sprained knee.

Out of three teams chasing MEM, Blazers have the easiest schedule at least on paper (next 10 games).

Yeah, they still won against Pistons despite Lillard's injury.
But, they are going to have a lot of problems since the list of injured players from the Blazers team is getting longer.

Pelicans schedule will be hell.

Oh thank you stadus for pointing that +6.5 out.
Yeah, we won!  Grin
Finally, a good win after so many losses.

Somehow the Warriors are doing fine.
I am at -7.5 here for the Pelicans. I hope they could come back at the 2nd half.
Damion Lee is doing all the work and he is freaking 18 points by now.
4289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 23, 2020, 03:45:56 PM
PICK : CELTICS +6.5 (small ml too)
Celtics is not a bad road team, so they might win SU in this game, even against the best team in the West.
Lebron and Davis will play their combo is expected to be outstanding, however we also can't underestimate the Boston since they also a good team which is very unpredictable, if Tatum won't score much, let's expect others to step up,.. No Walker but there's brown.

They have 16 - 11 Road road record or 59.25% winning rate, and with that rate I am winning to gamble with a good point spread given to the Celtics.
Granted as 3.10 without handicap I think your choice is better. I might go that way, just to be sure. @1.93 is not that bad although we really want the highest.
Kemba Walker will not be playing so their offense might be difficult to achieve.
I am seeing Tatum here working his magic. I just hope so.
Also hoping for Brown to have a good night. 2 days of rest should be enough flying to the West. I am also betting for the Celtics here.
4290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A game that educates people about Bitcoin on: February 23, 2020, 02:22:05 PM
A game that would teach others about BTC is a good idea but the difficulty would be sharing it with the people that need it most.

People on Herr already know about BTC at some extend so that hardest part of the project is reaching the right audience and getting them to play the game?

How do you suggest or how do you plan on doing this?

Marketing is always a challenge.

My plan is to spread the word amongst people who know about bitcoin and want to help their friends and family understand bitcoin a little bit.

That is why feedback and game testing from people who know about a bitcoin, for example the people here, is important part of my development plans.

As a fallback, I plan to approach bitcoin exchanges and sell them the idea of making the game available to their users or use the game as a tool for acquiring new users.

The fallback plan is really a plan to use in case everything else fails. I would love to see the community finding the tool/app/game I am developing to be a useful thing.

It might really work. I can see you are really into it.
You could post some links here next time or maybe an announcement if the game is in beta test.
Some of us could try it and could also help see any errors if there will be.
Like bugs, or something which had been forgotten to be fixed.

I really hope next time we will be seeing your project here first.  Grin Good luck!
4291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 23, 2020, 11:57:22 AM

you are not, you are even brave enough to follow what's in your mind, don't bet against yourself, that's a stupid strategy if you intend to consider gambling as a long term activity. It's alright to lose sometimes but make sure you go with your goal which is to win most of the time.

I will put that on my notes.

Boston is given 3.15 against the Lakers but without Kemba. Could Tatum and Brown handle the strong Lakers?
Oh! this one is sweeter.
Spurs @ 2.70 against OKC. Wow! They just won against them last Wednesday. This might be a good bet. No injury reports, as of my own knowledge.

Putting a little too for the Pelicans -7.5 @1.77 against the Warriors. This might be a no doubt win.
4292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 23, 2020, 08:43:28 AM
Let's keep making these bookies pay 😊😊

That's the mission, and hopefully you guys keep winning... so this thread will be more popular.
Today, all the posters who share their bets here wins, let's keep this going.

Looking forward for some early leans for tomorrow's games.

Yeah, please make me win too.
All of your winnings came from me. I have great losses that I am not proud of.

There are times when I don't want to follow some of the predictions here and go against it.
I don't know man! It is like a hobby of mine to oppose the stronger one with a lot of chances of winning.  Cheesy
Am I sick?  Grin
4293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind ALTCOINS not bouncing Back on: February 23, 2020, 06:56:57 AM

Most project dump their whole supply in market on its investors.

Wait a minute!
Are you talking about ICO's here.
There is a rule which they cannot sell their coins. It will be frozen until a certain time.
It is the investors which are selling their coins.

Here is the real problem of why it did fall.
They gave too much bonuses to those who bought at Pre-ICO. Because of that, when the coin hits an exchange investors will sell immediately when they see profits even just for a little bit. They are not holders. Those are businessman. Because of the market being played also by traders the coin depreciates its value.
4294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 23, 2020, 03:53:16 AM
This game for blazers was quite important to actually see how the others play and not if they could win or not. Pelicans are not really a great team of course so they could have still won the game however when your best player is out (and I wish CJ was out resting as well, would emphasize this better) you get to see who are the other players that you know that could help the team out, Lakers literally did that last year and kept Kuzma while sending all others, sure there were other things involved but they could have easily sent Kuzma as well.

Here blazers saw that they could rely on other players as well when Dame is not on his best day or he is guarded extra etc etc, we all knew CJ was good but seeing Melo still playing well really helped them and hopefully their playoff chase is not just over yet.

They really need that win to get away from the 10th and 11th seed which is the Spurs(24) and Pelicans(24).
Grizzlies is at 28 at 8th seed and 25 for Blazers.
It is not that far. There is a chance for those three team. This injuries though is killing the Blazers.
Zion on the other hand, is really on trail of something. He want that playoff spot.

Pelicans are losing against strong teams like Bucks and Thunders but never with the lower seeds.
As of their 10 games, they only lose against the Rockets, Bucks and Thunders. They really got stronger with the addition of Zion.
4295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need to be more cautious than ever on: February 22, 2020, 11:32:13 AM
Learn from the mistakes.
I always try to remind that to myself.
It is just that. . . its difficult when it is yourself who is saying it. You always need that someone to remind you.
Thank you for doing that.

Is this really that "once" event that will happen per year? The fluctuating market where your eyes is like rolling when seeing the ups and downs of the value of every cryptocurrency?
4296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A cryptostar in a galaxy far far away on: February 22, 2020, 10:30:14 AM
Man! That was deep!  Cheesy
We could all see that with your avatar and personal message but you don't need to go this far.  Grin

I read over and over about your last post regarding the government control.
What can we do about it? Nothing. Will someone step in the government to say this is enough?
Will a new senator will just say give the people their freedom? I don't think so.
That means taking out their salary.  Grin

But we are still given the free will to choose. And I know what I want.

4297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not FOMO on newly listed altcoins on Binance on: February 22, 2020, 06:45:27 AM
Thanks for the tip.
I have been also dragged from those before specially when some altcoin wins the voting system.
Also, you could see this a lot in telegram.
People asking, "When Binance?" until when it is listed the value goes deep without even any reason at all.
Or, is it just that traders played the price for just a little time and brought it down.
4298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 22, 2020, 01:50:37 AM
Oh no! please.
It is like you put Olajuwon and Magic in one team already. I would not break that down unless one of the two want to be traded.
These two are the rising stars of the new league and they are playing old school which I would love to see more.
I would pay a lot just for the two of them and just put role players on their side, all will be well.
You got a good pointguard at a tall figure and then a strong player in the paint. They only lack 3 point shooters to make them move with a lot of space.
Embiid and Simmons are very good players, but let's not compare Embiid with Olajuwon (tho i admit that Embiid could be one of the greats if he was less prone to injuries),
So to whom should I compare him? Luc Longley? I do think that is the nearest we could get.
and especially Simmons with Magic. Until Simmons learn how to shoot
I put my last comment in "bold" to understand it well.
When you are a tall play maker you could easily see openings.

Last year playoff was good example. They almost beat Raptors in last year's playoff, despite subpar Simmons performance, in 7 games vs Raptors he averaged 11. points and 5 assists. You must admit that's not the level of franchise player.  From what i remember, the one who carried them was Butler. Simmons simply doesn't have tenacity and winning mentality, despite obvious BBIQ and playmaking skills.
Oh the time when Kawhi got lucky or as they call it shooters roll?
Dude, Embiid is 24 at that time and Simmons is 23. Already a huge step for them playing against a playoff contender with strong players and yet they put it at Game 7.
You are really putting this all in "Butler"? Really? So, they are not a team at the time?
There is always room for improvement specially with Simmons. Don't we see that now?

In this year playoff I wouldn't be surprised if they end it very early, maybe even in the 1st round, as they will most likely play against Celtics or Heat.
You are so sure about that. Want to make a bet?
4299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 21, 2020, 02:49:08 PM

Hopefully I'll still be up tonight betting on the upcoming games. ( not sure it's a good idea betting while drinking).

No, its not. You might break your streak. Just wake up earlier afterwards.  Grin

Really? We are vice versa. I made two bets and both of them lose. Pfft. Should I put the PS of my shame?
Guess I will be following you from now on.  Grin

The odds are quite good for the next game. Knicks, Orlando, T'Wolves.
How about this.
The Blazers is being given 2.50 against the Pelicans? Wow! Zion madness!
I may win some this round.
4300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 21, 2020, 12:54:57 PM

You corrected my wrong post with another wrong post.. lol.. what happen to us.
More beer please!? Hiccup!  Grin

Damn it! Embiid became a monster all of a sudden. 39 points with 16 rebounds and then Harris doing his job too with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
2 players with double double just like that.
If he was healthy, that would be standard for Embiid. I think that with current setup, him and Simmons are not good fit, and sooner or later Philadelphia will have to choose between one of those two, if they ever want to have shot at the title. Jimmy Butler not resigning  really hurt them..
Oh no! please.
