4283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHERE I CAN FIND ? on: June 06, 2021, 04:01:11 PM
A lot of people uses tradingview for technical analysis. You need to learn about leading indicators if you want to have an idea about price changes before it actually happens. There are also apps like Blockfolio that notifies you price changes depending on your set up.
Two things in your post that drew my attention:
1. Your advice to OP to get to learn about leading indicators. It's my kind of thing. But sadly I haven't read much about people talking about leading indicators here. They often point to MAs, RSI, MACD which are all Lagging indicators (could it be that they think those are leading indicators?) These indicators tend to act after price has passed. Leading indicators of S&R, Trendiness, Pivot Points et al lead before price does anything.

2. The mention of Tradingview.
There's a new app in town called Poocoin. You can get it at www.poocoin.app. It's a nice app and does much more than what Tradingview does. Token contracts addresses are imbedded into it with other sophisticated features.
4284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Different Coins Do You Own? Me = 11 on: June 06, 2021, 03:02:47 PM
Last i checked my wallets, i had over 200 different coins and tokens on them.
Some are worth quite a bit, some are useless shitcoins
Really? 200 is quite huge. It's a collection, actually. I hope the shitcoins are not more than valuable ones in number? Come to think of it, there's no crypto enthusiast with a wallet who doesn't have a bit or collection of some worthless tokens.

On my part, I really can't say I have a certain number I keep. I trade them from time to time and might buy different ones after selling off certain ones. However, no matter how I sell off some of my tokens I try not to touch Cartesi and Curio. Those tokens are undervalued ATM. Again, it's not even enough to say one has tokens if they're not in appreciable quantities. Get tokens and buy each of them in large quantity, it's the ultimate.
4285  Other / Meta / Re: Is it time to increase the Emojis ? on: June 06, 2021, 06:08:06 AM
OP, I quite get your drift on that. Sometimes I had had the intention of using certain emojis but didn't find them on BTT. I was able to solve that issue as an Android user by installing Kika Keyboard from playstore. That way you get any type of emoji you need to insert in your post.
4286  Other / Meta / Re: Elon Musk threads are moved to Off-topic ? on: June 06, 2021, 05:19:28 AM
Who cares about what Elon Musk says?
You are the people who make it look like he's the controlling Bitcoin price movements.
Can we, in all sincerity, say he hasn't been successfully doing that? Come on, even if we hate his guts we should at least admit his influence. At least, this moment he holds that influence on Bitcoin. The influence may fade out with time but he has it ATM.

As for moving Elon Musk's topics to Off topic, I think it's a good call because of the preponderance of such discussions which tend to give more time to the serial investor with penchant for doublespeak. Perhaps, the mods moving them will reduce the urge for posters to create more topics on Elon this, Elon that.
4287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas Fees Drop on: June 05, 2021, 09:17:21 PM
Plus the numbers change a lot, like I tried sending 20 bucks from my metamask just this morning and it suggested 8 dollars, I do not know where people get their gas fee calculations or where my metamask did but I decided to use BSC once again, it is that simple to drop the amount of eth is used because if you tell me 8 bucks then I will switch to other place which charges me like 20 cents, it is wildly different.
I strongly believe BSC is the biggest undoing of the ETH network. Without BSC, a lot of new projects seeking smart contracts would've died off and the extortion in gas fees from traders would've continued unabated. It's because of this same high fee that an existing project I followed couldn't swap it's token and that project died off last year. Again, traders on Uniswap talk a lot about high gas fees as withdrawal fees when they trade there and that has made me not even patronise any token listed on Uniswap or any ETH based Dex. My preference is BSC based tokens and on Pancakeswap. If a token I want to buy is listed only on Uniswap or other ETH based Dex, I just lose interest and forget buying it. Well, let's see how this new gas level improves and stays cheap. Perhaps, it may encourage many traders to reconsider their stance and go back to ETH.
4288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading vs Forex trading on: June 05, 2021, 03:50:20 PM
Please advise which one is best. Which one is more profitable? Crypto trading or Forex trading?
Which one is better of the two?

Well, I can tell you for free that crypto trading is better. The reason being because of the volatility as it generates more moves than what we have with Forex Trading. The only pairs that come close to crypto moves in FX are Gold and Dragon (which is GBP/JPY). You will smile if you're on the winning side of either of those trades. However, what should matter to OP most is how to acquire the skill sets for trading. From the way that question is asked, it's obvious that the OP hasn't a full grasp of the rudiments of trading. My advice will be for OP to focus on learning the profession than concentrate first on making money from it.
4289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can any one suggest best indicator for trading? on: June 05, 2021, 11:21:14 AM
Guys i am new to trading. Can any one suggest best trading indicator for free? Also any other trading tip for beginers
What you're asking for is a quick fix which I think you may not readily get here because trading is personal experience. What works for A may not work for B or you. So, even if A hands over his trading indicator to you, it may not profit you anything. Temperament and emotions differ just like trading skills and perspectives too. BTW, the eye is the best indicator there is. Yes, I know that isn't what answer you're expecting. But that's the truth. Have a mastery of leading indicators like various lines of Support & Resistance, Trendiness, Pivot Points and Price Action. Don't dwell much on lagging indicators of MAs and RSI.
4290  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon MusK Bullish again for bitcoin ? on: June 05, 2021, 06:21:22 AM
At some point the Elon Musk effect is going to wane, especially as he does his tweets regularly on cryptos. People are going to start getting fed up with his doublespeak like they did with John McAfee (who is presently cooling his heels in a penitentiary). If I were Mr Musk, I would just take a chill pill and stay on the sidelines to watch things for a while. He can't come to tell us how bad Bitcoin was for the globe a few days ago and then return after a few days to still praise the same Bitcoin he condemned and expect people to applaud him. Those who will be doing so are either confused or simply idiots. He should just relax. Otherwise, his double standard will hurt his auto business and damage his reputation.
4291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall from 65k to $30k was the best thing to ever happen to Bitcoin on: June 04, 2021, 08:18:31 PM
I'm not sure if this was the best one. But it was expected. For this reason, I sold all my bitcoins from ownr wallet shortly before. I felt that something like this would happen.
Well, your decision might seem right ATM to you but I sincerely hope you don't regret it a few days from now because Bitcoin isn't dumping. It's in uptrend and what we are currently witnessing is a momentary correction. For those who want to hastily sell off, they should remember that 2021 is a post Bitcoin halving year and as such should expect a bull rally till a few weeks to the end of the year.

As for the crash, and OP's position that it's the best thing happening to Bitcoin as it will afford more people the opportunity to buy the dip. Don't be deceived. It's mostly whales that will utilize that opportunity. Weak hands will always remain scared of getting in whenever there's a crash.
4292  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When do you think World War 3 will take place? on: June 04, 2021, 02:01:24 PM
... And after 3, four? After 4, five? Sighs...

Truth remains that there won't be any such thing as 3rd world war. That's my thought, anyway. Well, may be the war won't be in the form or style of the previous wars fought. I think, if anything, it will be a war indirectly fought, a kind of proxy war. I don't think the world powers will directly go against one another. We saw how the US and Russia had their combat using Syria as a test ground and what happened in other engagements. The sad truth is that when such wars are fought, the engaging world powers benefit from it through their sales of arms and ammunition while innocent masses die in their millions.

Many economists already stated that China started the world war III with the help of Bio weapons aka covid 19, even well developed countries were facing the economic problems and it will take years to regain the position they were in before covid 19 while China will continue to progress and reach the most super power of this world.
So, you think it's going to be a biological war (if at all there will be a war)? And the epidemic Corona virus is it? Well, as hilarious as that sounds; I can't completely say it doesn't make sense to think in that direction anyway.
4293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: June 04, 2021, 12:26:01 PM
Many people claim that matic is better than dogecoin after the recession last week. Do you agree?
It's not even about being better than dogecoin that's the issue. The main thing is what it tends to do or serve. What utility has it that dogecoin doesn't have should be the focus. To start with, dogecoin has an infinite supply and I believe this is one of the big draw backs it has. A lot of investors look at such numbers, and dogecoin isn't capped (its disadvantage). Matic has a max supply of 10 billion with a circulating supply of almost 6.3 billion. For me, I think the price is even too much considering its supply. Now, imagine what would happen if Dogecoin were to be capped at 10 billion max. I bet you, price will hit the roof. Dogecoin has a seamless transaction speed and confirmation and that's a plus in my books.
4294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: See why most bounty hunters get scammed on: June 03, 2021, 05:40:09 PM
I believe the mistake most bounty hunters make is the failure to do research about a project. Most bounty hunters have favorite bounty mangers, so they just blindly trust this managers and participate in any project they release without doing research about the project.
You're right about hunters blindly trusting their research decision to managers they think they trust to do the due process for them. Sadly, truth remains that most of those managers don't do any due diligence on projects they take on, provided they're sure their fees will be paid. In fact, most times these BMs have even had to commence the job of managing the bounties upfront without getting payment. It's an act of desperation. This shouldn't be so. And these same ones will be quick to condemn Esau who sold his birthright over a pot of porridge. These managers who don't do due diligence and take up bounties because of the financial reward also have sold their dignity for a pot of porridge.

Do you believe in the free lunch? Certainly scammers know that only suckers think about the free-lunch;

Scammers need morons, and suckers always looking for 'free shit'; match made in heaven

FREE BITCOIN, ... yep, there's a guy handing out FREE BTC, all you got to do is send him your btc first, and he'll send you back 10x, works everytime
It's obvious either this account is a bot or the poster didn't understand a bit of the two posts they quoted because the response is completely offtrack. Are you posting merely to meet up with your weekly quota for the same pot of porridge, literary speaking?

BTW, I intentionally didn't want to snip out the long quote so that other readers can get the nitty gritty of it and see the offpoint straight up.

4296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 03, 2021, 09:13:29 AM
...alot of friends kept complaining that bitcoin and alts will go deep down and it will take months before coming back.
Before you believe anyone in this industry, try and find out their technical ability and pedigree in cryptos. Don't just take the word of anyone claiming to be a veteran hook line and sinker without verifying it. On the general view, the market is bullish. At least this is likely to go into the last quarters of this year. Any dip now should be viewed as a correction for price to gain support and then spring back to rally. Again, all hope isn't lost. All you can buy back those tokens you prematurely sold. All you have to do now is get a nice entry position during a dip and go in back again.
4297  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria Local Board {Official language, Pidgin} on: June 03, 2021, 02:22:05 AM
Add Cartesi to ya list oh. I talk about am here last year when dat token dey less than 4cents. But e dey around 70cents now.

You are right on point. i dump that token when the price was around 5cents. thinking there was no market. today my eyes don open and i don see the direction where it is heading. the project is heading towards the right direction and might moon to over 2 dollars sooner or later.
Haaba! Wetin be $2? Na speed e go take zoom pass day level wen e set. Just dey watch. Nor forget sey e enta $1.7 ATH some weeks ago oh. Dat token go do pass $5. In fact na Theta token me dey take compare am with. And right now Theta dey around $7+ afta e don do $15+ sef. Just check dat CTSI roadmap and programmes, yousef go know sey dem nor com play. Dem mean serious business. Na only time e go take dem before dem reach where dem dey go.
4298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 90% chances if a coin is listed in Binance it has a good potential on: June 02, 2021, 04:28:54 PM
What's your take on this, am I right or wrong?

Share your opinion.
My submission is that you're not absolutely right. I don't want to categorically say you're wrong so it doesn't rub off on you the wrong way. I once had Centra on Binance a few years ago and it turned a scam coin. Remember that coin promoted by Floyd Mayweather? That's it. I also have some shitcoins I have kept there for over two years now which I bought under a cent and they haven't done past that range since I bought them.

The major reason people rush to Binance isn't because there aren't shitcoins or coins which later get delisted there but for the fact that they believe Binance to be a very secured exchange they can trust with their funds. Getting a token listed on Binance isn't a guarantee that it will do well if it doesn't have utility.
4299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest on alts suggestion on: June 02, 2021, 01:08:29 PM
I am plaaning to invest on alts 2024. For the moment i keep my usdt. I am thinking that these coins still at higher prices , they  will sure more 80-90% down.

How about your views?
First off, you're going to have a long way to go if your mind is set on 2024 to buy in. What happens between now and then? Except you're simply saying you aren't an investor or a trader. Between now and then is a gap of 3 whole years. That's 36 months of waiting. Quite alright, price may be up for certain tokens now. However, there are still others with low prices that you can pick up now. As it's the tradition that every post halving Bitcoin year always goes into a bull season, it's very likely that price will continue to soar till the end of this year with little corrections here and there. If you're aiming for a bear year, wait for it in 2022. Not 2024.
4300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Erc20 tokens send fee on: June 02, 2021, 10:51:37 AM
To reduce the eth transfer fee, you simply change the gas fee / gwei when making the transfer. But this will affect the time of receipt.
That isn't always good to try because it can disrupt the essence of what the transfer is for. A delayed transaction may result in delayed profit and sometimes frustration to the other person waiting to receive the token. Besides, price can drop owing to the volatility of the market before the transaction is confirmed. Except one is transferring from one's private wallet to an exchange, otherwise I advise one uses the set fee to effect the transfer. As it's now, the transfer fee is even as low as $4 which is infinitesimal compared to what it was a few months ago. It was pure extortion those months.
