4281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 20, 2022, 08:42:47 AM
This could be his last chance to win a ring, wth the Sixers. Still build around Joel, but Harden could be the missing pieces that they needed. They just feel short last playoff, but you can't blame Harden totally. Now that we will be healthy (hopefully, no hamstring injuries), then we will see how he really wanted to win and push himself and be the number 2 guy in this team.

I'm not sure, but If the Sixers won't make it this upcoming season I doubt if they could ever really make it. I mean they actually have a pretty good roster. They have Harris and 3 young talents Maxey, Thybulle, and Melton.
This team should be on the ECF or even the Finals. They fell short last playoffs and it is a must for them to bounce back this season. They've got Tucker which would be a good addition for their defense with Thybulle.

Totally disappointed with Harris performance though, if there is one Sixers that I think that should need to go, it will be him. But in any case, everything now is on Harden's shoulder for the next season. He did sacrifice a lot of money to get some of his former team mates from the Houston to help him out. So it should be good as there will be no adjustments to be made from him as Tucker can play any position in defense. Remember the days with Mike D'Antoni wherein Tucker playing against legitimate centers because they choose to go small that time.
4282  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph suspended my account without valid reason on: July 20, 2022, 08:07:55 AM

Unfortunately, nangyari na rin sa kin to in the last couple of weeks.

No offense naman sa kanila been using them since 2017 pero may mga kalaban na at parang nakapa higpit nila.

Anyhow, balik na rin ako sa level 3, kaka approved ko lang nung isang araw pagtapos ko ulit mag send ng panibagong documents.
4283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: July 18, 2022, 11:58:28 PM
Again, as I have said in previous thread, it seems that gambling is in our DNA already. We've discussed when it started, whether in China or other old civilization. That alone proved that gambling is already on us since the beginning of our history.

And it evolved so much that there are governments willing to accept gambling with regulations. But as far as online, it will be hard to stop it totally. Gamblers are so adaptive that they will always find loopholes and exploits and maybe circumvent the ban by their government.

I think Lebron making a big deal out of drew league is not as much of a thing as we think it is. He probably had a little vacation and didn't want to stay at home and that was about it. I do not think that it was anything more than that. Of course it could be to get in shape, btu he could have done that in a much less competitive way, this dude is not just playing basketball in the nba because he wants to make money, of course he is a genius level business person and he made a ton of money so far, but he doesn't care about that anymore if you ask me, being the best basketball player for a few more years wouldn't be that important. I think he just plays because he loves the game so much, like he could continue to play until he is 50 if the teams still get him, and thats the main reason he is in the drew league as well.

Drew league is like Rucker.  Every baller wants to play there.  It's been a pilgrimage for many nba'ers.  At the heart of it these guys are all ballers, they just want to play.  And making your mark at Drew is something every baller has on theor bucket list.  Don't care if you are in the NBA or not there are just still playground spots that are just as important to basketball just in another way.

Correct, but I will rate Rucker as a bit higher than Drew as it was in Harlem and it has a lot of history as well. And yeah a lot of NBA players wanted to play because they can showcase their talent and you know that New Yorker loves their basketball so it's crazy out there. Lebron, Kobe, Durant and other legendary players at one time in their career has balled on Rucker and it went wild. There are Youtube videos out there for fans who wanted to see the atmosphere and competition in the early 2000s.

^^ Regardless where gambling originated, China or India or ancient Middle East, gambling has been ingrained with humanity since the dawn of man. Perhaps our ancestors really found out a clever way to dice, whether to used it for entertainment or other purposes. And this is how we involved, and this is also the same reason why it's hard to get rid of gambling because it's already on our DNA as per our ancestors.
4286  Economy / Gambling / Re: hello Players!! on: July 18, 2022, 10:54:43 PM
The only gambling industry in the current bearish market is moving at their own way. At this time every gambling site is sophisticated. The first thing that attracts gamblers is the design of the site. Then they try to understand what is inside it. I can't access to your site but it seems that the mentioned script may be from an old site or it can be restricted for some countries may be.
Does gambling station effect bearish market especiallyasino game I don't know if gambling section have anything to do with gambling because if coin rise and fall it does not add anything meaningful to gamblling because gambling is like something that dependable to it own.

Depends, if the casino is reputable and good then for sure it will not be affected by market condition. The effect will be on the players themselves, specially in the bull run wherein they might have to readjust their bet because of the obvious price surge.

As i see the OP decided to stop the project. I don`t see any changes till the thread was created. And no any activity from the OP.
And i think this is a right decision. The casino looks simple enough and slow, i don`t believe that it can attract gamblers from the others trusted casinos.
It’s actually sad to see developer stop their project with a lot of potential, as we can see OP is asking for possible improvements and that’s a good one to asked the public about their thoughts and suggestions. Looking forward for this project, and maybe a big comeback. Let’s be more open to give feedbacks because this can be a big help especially for the start up.

They have their reasons though, in every facets of business, it's really hard to just stop something that you have been passionate as this is what I interpret from the OP himself  Anyhow, we have more options right now, dice, card cards, slots machines in other well-known and reputable online casinos.
4287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 18, 2022, 10:37:07 PM
Even if they get alarmed, there's nothing they can do because Japan has a high rate compared to the Philippines, even their minimum wage, there's a huge difference compared to the Philippines. It's just up to the players if they will take the offer or not, I heard before that Terrence Romeo has a huge offer but he choose to stay with SMB.

PBA have to take action in combatting this situation. If they sleep on this, Japan will continue to siphon our talents. And one day, Japan will have all our talents and we will be left with nothing.

The only thing that I see positive in this is that our players is having international experience. They will be better when they come back to play for Gilas in International tournaments.

Well they can make some rules, but the PBA knows that they can't stop this players from jumping into other leagues in Asia because of a good pay.

And this had happen to even NBA as well, the Chinese, or even European leagues recruited NBA players and made good money and have the luxury to still play. Same case with this PBA players, and maybe in the long run if might be good for us, as you have said, international exposure and we might fight a lot of young players from the amateurs to join the PBA. For sure there are a lot of talents from us, they just need proper venue (college basketball) to show their wares.
4288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 18, 2022, 10:16:00 PM
Fans would want to see the fight ending in a KO rather than the decision so once and for all controversy will be over. Both GGG and Canelo are great fighters and they have their own fan-based, so we cannot really prevent from people thinking that the decision was not fair because as a fan we are sometimes biased.

Yes a KO decisive match would be great at this match.

True, I wanted to end this fight in a knock-out as well.

But for me, regardless of the winning method, the end result should be entertaining as long as the result is fair.

I'm fine with the decision result as long as all throughout the match, we will see lots of exchange blows between them.

However, since both of this boxers seems to be not giving any advantage against each other, there could be no knock out. But for sure this will be an entertaining fight, after all this is a trilogy already. We've seen the last two and indeed the fans enjoyed it although there is controversies. So this could be again going to the score card of the judges.
4289  Economy / Gambling / Re: Good gambling tipster on: July 18, 2022, 09:54:10 PM
This is too risky, no one should depend to anyone especially those who are claiming as to be a tipster and claiming that they beat the casino. We know gambling always work based on out luck, and there’s no way for us to beat the site or the casinos because the house will always win. For the record, I don’t this guy and I will not trust him easily, better to look for more details about how to be more effective in gambling.

I would say that there are reputable tipsters out there, but claiming to beat the casino? Nah, that's just crazy, no one has done that. Maybe he is trying to over-exaggerate things so that he can get subs but that's illogical.

So as others have said, it just make this guy funny to begin with his claim and yeah he just lost credibility here (whether it was the OP himself or promoting his person here.)
4290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to make new all-time-highs within 24 months: Coinshares CSO on: July 18, 2022, 12:56:49 PM
If the cycle continues then sure, maybe the next all time high (6 digits), might happen in 2024 after the halving. So it could be in the next 2 years, which mean that we might see the price really tanking. We hit all time high at $17,500 but in the next 6 months we might see another lows. Nevertheless, if that happens then exponential growth could be experience in the next bull run.
4291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Age of bitcoiners on: July 18, 2022, 12:14:57 PM
Thanks for the poll OP! Was expecting more investors to be between 20-30 as has been the case in previous years, or the previous bull/bear market. It's interesting to see from this poll that there are more users between 30-40 these days, even if it's just Bitcoin holders getting older! I think this also shows how Bitcoin itself is maturing, if the age of investors/traders is increasing, it's heading in the right direction.

Interesting to see so few users are under 22, personally I would of expected a lot more.

Yep and I think majority or at least those who have at least join in 2017 would be between 30-40 years old by now. And we could say that it is maturing, but nevertheless it will be a cycle. As we graduated and see our first full cycle (bear/bull), we will see a new batch coming along in 2020-2021 and it goes on and goes. And maybe for those younger generations, perhaps it is by chance that they have discovered bitcoin during the pandemic or those age bracket have different mindset, to look for investment and grow their money at a young age.
4292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 18, 2022, 11:45:48 AM
I agree with that, it's not a problem to sell this fight, the big problem is if these two will agree on the sharing of the revenue and purse. If one will demand a 50/50 share while the other boxer will not agree because he wants more, then this fight will just remain a speculation.

That 50/50 is never gonna happen as Spence would never accept that, the final call now is from Crawford, if he will agree to lower his share then most likely this fight will be realized. We have been anticipating this fight, it's a big disappointment if it will not happen this year after all the hype that is happening.

Crawford will accept a lower share and it's nothing new. It's on Spence if he really wants to force that ridiculous 60/40 or even 70/30. I say 55/45 in favor of Spence should be fair enough. It's not like Spence is a huge PPV draw either so his previous demands were unreasonable. The event will most likely draw 500k to 1 million PPV buys. It's like Spence 250k and Crawford 150k and the huge chunk of the draw is because they are fighting each other.

Crawford went on record that he is willing to accept a lower share just to have the fight happened. It has been in works for many years and they all pointing to Crawford or shall we say Bob Arum as the problem. But he is no longer with Top Rank, so they throw another reason, Crawford is not a draw and the B-side and he agree to that.

The latest in the grapevine is this will happen in November this year. So from early this year, then to October and now November. Does it look like Spence is still not confident to face his fears? So he is continuing to buy some time to make Crawford older and more inactive. Years of ducking and avoiding the boogeyman.

I guess still boil down on the money, not much on his fears but we really wanted to be the A-side and get at least 60-40 split. But a 55-45 might be reasonable as well.
4293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 16 on: July 18, 2022, 11:12:41 AM
Thanks again you keep this thread for a lively discussion.

Congrats to those who won their bets on this match, whether by KO win, under 7.5 or the exact round or round range.

So we will have to wait and see if Garcia vs Davis could be made late this year or early 2023. For sure majority of us wanted to see that huge fight.
4294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 18, 2022, 10:57:32 AM
Anyone heard of James Harden taking a $15 million pay cut with the Sixers?

He basically wanted to have players that can help the team win a championship with him and Joel Embid. Not sure if this is true though, but in any case, it seems James Harden goal next season is to win that championship. He has a lot of individual accolades and for sure he doesn't want to retire without even a ring.
4295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 17, 2022, 03:11:00 PM
^^ I guess we have to include Loma in the discussion because that is Lopez best win in his career. But then again, Loma was injured, then he wanted to have a rematch, in which Lopez didn't want to. And Teo obviously chooses the wrong fight because Kambosos beat him badly.
Exactly, Kambasos gave him a match that he will not forget, I was even surprised that Lopez was expecting a win after the right even though he was hit by a lot of power punches from Kambasos. Lopez is not a real man, he should give Loma a rematch as a sign of respect for the old champion.

And now that he is campaigning in a new division, again, a lot of good names in here so it will really expose Lopez on how good or how he is an average fighter. Against Campa, maybe we can say that he can win here, but against tougher a tougher natural welterweight, we will see how he will go against them.
He can win against Campa but will probably struggle against a legit champion in this division.
Campa is probably a cherry-picked fight for Lopez IMO.
Based on the list he only has to deal with Josh Taylor, Teofimo Lopez is still a great and skill full boxer and he can match what Josh Taylor can offer he will be a legit super lightweight if he beats Campa and will fave the way to challenge Taylor, he needs to be spectacular in this fight just like he did when is in the lightweight division.

Super lightweight/Junior welterweight
WBA: Vacant.
WBC: Vacant.
IBF: Josh Taylor.
WBO: Josh Taylor.
The Ring: Josh Taylor.

Wow, so there's only one champion in this division? It's a great opportunity for Lopez to get all that belt if he will beat Josh Taylor and he could be the reigning champion in this division if he would really does well. It will be a big challenge for Josh Taylor so I surely want to see Lopez getting to the top to challenge the best.

According here https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/725709), Taylor is only an IBF and WBO champion, not sure if the list is updated or not.

Yeah, he become undisputed when he fought Jose Ramirez, who has the WBO and WBC belt, and Josh have the WBA (Super), IBF and then The Ring.

Josh Taylor though has to gave up the other belts that's why it is vacant.

I have it covered here:  [Boxing]: Josh Taylor vs Jose Ramirez - May 22.  Didn't get that much attention back then, hehehe.

But since we have Lopez campaigning now in this division, it lit up and making some noise. And I've heard that one contender in this division who just won is calling Lopez already and his name is Arnold Barboza.
4296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is? on: July 17, 2022, 01:40:03 PM
I've used martingale strategy in bj for many years, i had some success with it for some time but also had some major losses as loosing 8 to 12 hands in a row tends to happen quite a bit especially during daily long sessions, that would usually put a big dent on my bankroll.

True, everything is still based on luck, although others may argue that Black Jack is more of a skill base or at least if you have skills like card counting but still not guarantee that you can win specially if you have like 8 or more hands that you lost already. Also depends on the bank roll itself, obviously. So there's no perfect strategy as others say, really depends on how you are going to manage your bankroll. If you win base don this system then good, but it's not going to be like this always, sooner or later the house edge will caught up on you.
4297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My old officemate become millionaire on investing on Bitcoin on: July 17, 2022, 12:58:15 PM
The trick was to use the money he could afford to live without and used it to buy some Bitcoins and even forgot as though he bought them. And also let's not forget his patience. Five years of waiting is no easy thing to do.

Had I used his strategy, I think would have way more Bitcoins in my account than I have right now.

Oh well, we have our own regret story as well. At least in this case, it end on a positive note for the friend that is huge amount of money already for us here and the officemate is lucky that he didn't forget the password otherwise it will be another lost BTC history. I think one time or another we have recommended bitcoin to someone, to a friend, a family member and maybe have the same story as well. Maybe if we will do it right now (spread the good news), and in the next bull run, we might see another positive story like this.
4298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 17, 2022, 11:42:35 AM
LeBron really tore it up in the Drew League today.  Putting up 42 and 16 against the mostly amateur competition.  Pretty amazing that he's still able to dominate like this at his age.  Looking like if he can stay healthy next year will be another big one.

In other news,  Grin

https://twitter.com/RealSkipBayless/status/1548509555033681922
That's Skip, he always looks at the dark side. This is why I don't like reading his content.
Give the 37-year-old superstar a break. I bet Skip cannot even make a layup anymore at that age.  Cheesy
Anyway, most of the article also focuses on Kyrie not attending the invite but they are optimistic he will come today.

Just finished talking to a friend who is a big fan of Blake Griffin. Told him he is a free agent now.
What team do you think this 2009 number 1 draft pick will end up to?
He is just 33 years old, may not be a strong impact on the offensive end but he may be able to still help defensively.

Perhaps the Chicago Bulls? we all know that Blake is already way past his prime, his best years where with the Clippers with CP3. But when he got injured, no more high flying acts for him, but he did try to evolved and be a good 3 point shooter and a defender just like what he did with the Nets.

And the Bulls needed some veteran and experience players. Especially in close out games and during the playoff as well. If some savvy veteran like Blake can mentor Lavine and him also helping like in defense and rebounds in like 10-15 minutes a game, he will be a big help for the Bulls.
4299  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another KYC requirements ng coins.ph? on: July 17, 2022, 10:35:22 AM
4300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIB, DOGE and BabyDoge: How Do Community Favorites Perform? on: July 17, 2022, 09:51:38 AM
I don't like to play with meme coins. These pump dump schemes are not potential at all. You have seen how Elon play with Doge, it's all about just making money and filling their pocket. I don't follow such as pump dump coins. I know many people become a millionaire from these coins, but it's like a gamble where everyone's luck wouldn't the same. I always like to pick some potential coins, because I lost a lot from shit coins.

Yes, I agree, pump and dump is very dangerous for non-experience crypto investors. Even for those who have been here for a long time as well, it's not a guarantee that can you make profit or get out in time before the pumpers dump their coins. I guess that's the nature, make money out of those noobs for this whales. So it's either we really don't invest on this meme coins and ignore them or try to get our hands and see how it goes. But expect the worst those and just invest what you can afford to lose.
